I thought I was the only one. They just act so bitter and toxic. Most of the time they hit people on hook and bm with his bell all the time.
-
For me my try hard build is
Dead Hard
Mettle Of Man
Self Care
Power Struggle/ Boil Over.
I have gotten it to work a few times if I'm working really hard for it. I'm thinking about trying it with Object Of obsession too.

My apologies. I'm quick to be defensive on here since people argue over anything lol. Once more my apologies.
It's fine. I think my joke was bad

I didn't actually complain though did I? Just saying you gotta love the hypocrisy is all okay bud? :)
I was joking. I thought we would just say the word complaining about bunch of times.
-
We also love a post complaining about people complaining about people complaining about the game. :)
-
I'm sorry you feel this way. I know how heartless people seem when playing. I know it's easier said then done to just ignore them but sometimes it's hard. I say take a short break from the game.
I emphasize with you and hope you get better and just remember not every one is like this.

What are you talking about?

People overrate how much of an advantage SWF actually gives. Average players aren't suddenly going to become looping gods just because they can communicate to their friends.
Exactly. It a the skill that helps them not the fact that they can communicate. A swf group with all the communications in the world won't help if they can't run the killer.
-
This is really good writing
But please leave me alone. I'm a nice survivor. Honest.

Oh yes you are right, thank you lots!
Honestly I think the real omniscience build is
Bond
Windows of oppurtunity
Detectives Hunch
Object of obsession.
At the right moment you see everything
-
I think you mean omniscience not omnipotence.
Omniscience is all knowing omnipotence is all powerful.
Anyway I love aura reading builds they are so fun
-
I don't understand this mindset. Some survivors were terrible to me so now I have to make every survivors experience terrible.
I get if you want to be toxic towards those that were toxic to you but what about the innocent ones? Why be toxic to them? Leave them alone

And even more people complain about Decisive Strike and Dead Hard, despite that, survivors still use them, as they should. If someone has beef with your perks, there was never any hope for them to begin with, so why bother catering to them of all people?
I guess I don't want to make people unhappy. I know how killers can get angry for me using meta perks so I try to limit the amount I use to make sure they are having fun too. Also I try and test out other underrated perks.
I really need to learn how to get out of this mindset.

This is why it's so so important to have some form of anti slug measure whether that be Unbreakable on its own or some kind of combo like Unbreakable + Soul Guard. I like to run We're Gonna Live Forever so I can pick up teammates much faster off the ground.
Anyways, all that being said it makes me sad to see a Pig do this (I'm a Pig main lol). Her potential to be a massive bully with the reverse bear traps is pretty high. Unless of course y'all didn't boop the snoot 🐽
But then people complain about unbreakable when we use it.

People don't like playing against strong things, because they want easy wins. It's too much effort for the average survivor to cleanse totems.
Thank you for saying the average survivor.
I like cleansing totems.

Yes back then it was very unfair, imo more so towards killers. However why must we keep comparing todays state to 2016? When we've clearly moved past that state and its no where near what it used to be.
Is this like the ship of theseus question?
-
I think ds is in a good spot right now. Touching it anymore would make it worse.
Also can we stop with this word abuse. Using ds isn't abusing it.

What I find hilarious. Is letting a bleed out happen is "scummy" because it's boring. Yet the amount of survivors that stand at the gate and tbag until you push them out or they take the 2 minutes is astonishing
Clearly people have no issues with wasting everyones time when they take their good old time leaving.
Are you serious? No one said that survivors staying at the exit gates to teabag was fine. If you have the opportunity to end the game but don't then your in the wrong regardless of what side you play on.
Thus whataboutism is so awful

I don’t think people should have to run totem hunters to find totems since they already take up a lot of time between searching and cleansing— in the same vein as people shouldn’t have to run gen tracking perks in indoor maps. They should take time to find, but not be nigh-impossible without it.
I like the add-on idea, and am surprised it’s not already in the game in some form.
I think killers should probably be able to choose the location or random select, yeah, but only in a limited time window at the start of the trial and the hex shouldn’t take effect until it’s placed. As for default respawns— no. I don’t think that’s necessary. Cleansing a Ruin only for it to return on the last gen and the killer stalling for time until totems return is not a type of playstyle I’d like to see introduced to the game anyways.
But If people don't run them then that would make them useless and not worth taking. I think they should be a bit difficult to find totems so that totem hunting perks has their purpose. Running these perks lower the time needed to find the objective which is important.
-
I would say just change how totems are in general. The changes j would make is.
to give more bloodpoints to the survivors when they cleanse the totems and lower the time it takes to do totems by 2 seconds or possibly add a skillcheck to them.
Also make them A bit harder to find so that people would have a reason to take totem hunting perks.
Also for hex totems I say just give the killer the ability to put down hex totems to the location they want or make hex totems come back after an extremely long cooldown (maybe like 3 or 4 minutes)
I would also like there to be an addon the increase or decrease the number of totems that can spawn in a match.
-
I use premonition. In fact I think I'm one of the 3 people in red ranks the actually use premonition. Even though I use premonition it had really bad downsides.
1. the cooldown is way too long. Which makes it really annoying and tiresome to use
2. It's really prone to false positives. As others have said even though you know the general direction that the killer is you don't really know if they are coming for you or not. It's a gamble on weather or not they are coming and I have wasted so much time thinking the killer was coming for me based on premonition only to realize they are on someone else. This problem also goes hand in hand with the cooldown problem and makes it worse.
3. Premonition is currently bugged at the moment making it a bit useless sometimes.
Imo spine chill is still the best choice over premonition but I still perfer it since it does have benefits that I like and perfer over spine chill.
-
I would perfer if we didn't shame people from running the perks that they want but killers have been doing this to survivors. I guess it's fair the killers have their own verson.

Gotta love the way people make snide comments about "cheap jump scares" in an attempt to devalue something like FNaF while simultaneously trying to imply that classic horror movie franchises are of excellent value. The double standard is ridiculous.
Because that's all fnaf is. Just a bunch of jump scares. To deny that the games aren't just that is ridiculous. And i didn't say classic horror movie franchise didn't do jump scares either. They did. It's cheap for them to do it and it's cheap for fnaf or any other modern day horror movie or series do it. Jump scares are just cheap in general.
but ultimately older movie franchises did more then that to solidify themselves as horror classics.

I would say there's more to modern horror than just that.
Well sure but I would argue that most are just jump scares. Most horror movies that have come out recently have been really bad.
To be honest I don't remember the last time I saw a good modern horror movie.

@glitchboi said:
I agree with you, Slenderman as well as FNAF def impacted modern horror. However, as much as I like Slenderman and would love to see him in the game, I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon.
I don't think that's a good thing. Modern day horror is just cheap jump scares and both games had a hand in that.

Elodie has a god awful scream. It grates on my ears every time I hook her. A quick smack shuts that up. Nothing against the player (most of the time), it's just that I need to cut that audio.

That’s exactly why then. They’re not doing it to bm you, they’re doing it to shut the ear ######### up.
I guess this is the downside of being an elodie main. Maybe I should run Calm Spirit on elodie to lower the odds

I just don't even understand why do it in the first place. They started off the game making noise notifications so I'd go to them just so they get head on my 3 times in a row and start tea bagging and flashlights. Then message me to tell me I suck after getting a 3K on them >_>
Idk. This game tends to bring out the worse in people.
-
I'm sorry you went against that. Players like those makes this game so unfun.

One of my friends hates noed so much that they run detectives hunch every game. I love playing with them because we never get cleaned out by noed and I feel so smug about 1 survivor perk absolutely destroying 1 killer perk.
We used 6% of our perks to destroy 25% of theirs.
I'm the same way. Detectives Hunch is permanently in my build if not at least one totem hunting perks.
I don't like dealing with hex perks at all.

Way to divide the community further by demonizing one side as hackers only.

A large part surprisingly. This game is really popular with people in the lgbt community. I also know a lot of Drag Queen's play as well. (Which I absolutely love)

I agree that killers complain as much as survivors do, but there is one difference between them. Killers, more frequently than survivors, have a better argument for their complaints. They don’t just come here like a lot of survivor mains do and say survivor op, nerf them. Many explain the issue and why it’s a problem, whereas lots of survivors just attack the killer players and call them bad without having a reasonable argument.
I don't think that's necessarily true. I have seen some good arguments from survivors ad to why Spirt should be nerfed as well as other topics. Similarly I have seen killers give irrational arguments on topics.
I don't think it's fair to limit that to only one side.
-
@unluckycombo said:
Either don't hit them immediately when they get up and wait out the endurance, or... Don't slug? If you had 3 down at once, surely you didn't have all 3 just come off hook.
That's a good point.
Op if you had all 3 slugged why not just pick them up?
-
Wasn't soul guard nerfed with a 30 second cooldown?
-
Can we make it so that the zombies lose collision when they get a hit?
-
@GannTM said:
What is the bug?
What happens is that when the killer is clearly in front of you premonition would not go off and give you the noise notifications. But if you move your camera around behind you the noise notifications happens. Sometimes it won't give a noise notifications at all.
It's sucks because sometimes I would run into the killer thinking they are one direction because premonition falsely tells me so.

Well I haven't used dead hard in a while and I was thinking about using it again.

I say you can tunnel I have no problems with it. But if your going to do it don't be upset that your tunnel didn't work because of the perks survivors bring. That's all I ask.
