Thank you! The ones I had the most trouble with were Huntress, Deathslinger, and Trickster. So yeah that says something... I'm a healer main in Overwatch that plays a lot of Mercy, I don't exactly have the best aim lol.
I actually got Tricksters before he was buffed. I lost 8 ranks LOL. Congrats on such a great achievement. Good stuff!!

They despawn and randomly respawn but immediately respawn once one is taken. It was just the fact that she did it on purpose to goad me on. She even admitted that she thought it was hilarious when she ran off and just saw me staring at where the pedal was. I didn't know if I should have been angry or impressed on how well she timed that lol.
I get it. A mixture of emotions, we have all been there :)

No, it really isn't. It's a five second stun (iiirc) where 2 seconds is eaten up by the animation alone.
I can see where a survivor doesn't want to get hooked. I really do. I would like to keep in mind that it's possible for every survivor to bring in DS. If every survivor brings in DS that is 4 survivors who get off the shoulder, eats up 20 seconds in stun for the killer and takes off any pressure the killer had built up. It takes 80 seconds by default to complete a gen. If a killer takes say 20 seconds to chase a survivor down, pick up stunned for 5 seconds, takes another 20 seconds to put the DS'd survivor down again and another 10 to 16 seconds to get them to a hook and 2 seconds for the hook animation that is 50 to 60 seconds dealing with one survivor to get them hooked. Extrapolate this to the most extreme situation of all 4 survivors having DS. Also factor in flashlights, pallet saves, flip flop to get off the shoulder. Not as much use out of them but I have used tenacity and flip flop before and it's not bad.
Just saying I feel the whole game has to be taken into account. I don't feel 1v1 is a fair assessment but the 1v4 scenario should be looked at before making any changes to a perk.

And blocked in again by two survivors at the exit gate after I opened the gate. People are just great lately.

What is Ruin and Tinkerer? I'm sure you don't want to talk about that.
One is a perk that causes a generator to regress while a hex totem is up and the other is a perk that gives the killer the undetectable status effect.

@Sluzzy said:
Killers got what they wanted. An extremely nerfed decisive strike that is no longer decisive, punishes for playing the game. Now they tunnel.
The survivor role is borderline completely unplayable.
DS is a get off the shoulder free card. it's not a heal up and do a gen for free card. So much pressure is taken off everytime someone gets off the shoulder.

I guess I'm just missing the point in finishing the game fast as killer. To your point about survivors "genrushing", the killer can stop this from happening (i.e perks and chasing survivors off). However, survivors cannot stop killers from camping/ tunneling. My point here is that survivors seem like they're "genrushing" because they're finishing their objective without resist, killers can finish their objectives without camping and/or tunneling.
When the game spawns all 4 survivors in front of different gens how does the killer have a chance if he doesn't get someone out of the game fast? it's more of a game design issue than anything imo. Sometimes it happens and others it doesn't.

Oh yea... That's totally it. And not the fact DS was one of the most unbalanced things ever in game.
Want to do over half a gens worth of progress and still have a get out of jail free card ? DS
Want to swoop in for the unhook and have NO consequences ? DS
The only solution the killer had was to leave you slugged so someone could pick you up and it was unfair and miserable. It was being abused and you know it. And now its turned in to what it's truly supposed to be l. An ANTI TUNNEL perk. It's still strong and an amazing perk. If people still ran it. They wouldn't be complaining so much about tunneling
I actually tested this. With a toolkit and a brand new part a survivor could get a full gen done by themselves before DS ran out before the change.
-
The game has been weird for a few weeks now. Not sure what it is, people just seem to be pissed off. I know I have seen a lot more killers BM'ing than normal and survivors are of course, survivors.
-
Depends, if they are trying to get points and give the killer points, yes. If they are fast vaulting a pallet every 1/2 a second non stop for the 2 minute EGC then I am not for it. I ignore it and go break pallets and doors that I missed during the match.

do you know on certain maps it could egit take you like 15-20 minutes to find 2-3 totems, nvm 5, I don't fancy playing 30-40 minute games
Not making fun here, but how can it take 20 minutes to find 5 totems with 4 people? Even without detectives hunch, maps, counterforce, small game etc. Come on. This is hyperbole.
-
@ITSCJ46 said:
Can we pls just move on without NOED, there is no legitimate defence you can say to keep this perk, it literally rewards bad killers with free kills, it rewards them for not doing their objective in the first place, I've just had 2 games in a row (and probably hundreds in the past) where we get all the gens done and we're all good and the killer gets 1-3 kills cause of NOED.
5 totems gets rid of it

It's ok to basement trap.... its ok :)

For addons its a waste of time IMO.
You get:
P3 you have a +50% more chance for a green addon, 30% chance for a Purple addon and 10% chance for Pink addon. Most pink addons are crap except for Michael Myers and a couple of other scenarios for killers. For survivors I bet you have better luck taking vigos lips and ransacking chests for better items or using Ace's perks for addons.
Has anyone done the math and seen if P3'ing a character actually gives you more rare and ultra rare addons in the end? Say, if you didn't prestige and didnt spend those blood points on Prestiging (sp) do you end up with more purples or pinks at the end of P3 getting all perks again rather than just staying P1 and spending those BPs normally?
I think the only thing P'ing up is good for is a little clout and the bloody face.

Spirit doesn't need a nerf, she needs an adjustment to her power to make it fun to go against.
She's like NOED in that regard, not necessarily OP, just very unhealthy for the game.
I am not one to yell nerf. I give it time. Her power is a bit OP IMO. There really isn't any counter to spirit other than dropping pallets immediately and hoping you can out juke her long enough for someone else to be getting a gen. You can't see her and she "can" move in spirit form over twice as fast as a regular survivor and twice as fast as 110 killers when she has MD ring on. She can get from a hook on one side of the map to the other in less time than it takes to heal someone. Thats a lot of map pressure and you cant see her nor tell when she's phasing or not.

Every patch breaks the game.
New killers are copies of existing killers. The only reason I bought Nemesis is because he is licensed and there is no option to buy him with shards. I did not buy the twins with shards even though I have plenty. I can get them for free and I don't want them. I unlocked trickster with shards only because I wanted to mess around with star struck.
Agree most killers are copies of existing killers. Speed and distance are basically how killers are made without regard to maps, play styles, the killers power and a ton of extra stuff that could be looked at to make something unique. I do suggest getting the twins though. I feel she has a little extra the other killers don't and her ceiling is a little higher than most other killers.

@Zokenay said:

Deaddawg saloon, absolutely. That is a really well lighted map. I absolutely hate playing coldwind now. Everything is the same color. The corn is the same color as the sky and so is the ground. Literally cant see gen auras as a killer.
-
Nemesis is a good killer and have beaten a few good SWF's teams. I consider him to be B-/C+ tier atm.
-
I don't feel this is new at all. I would say in at least 25% of my games i am told to DIAF, kill myself, im trash, my parents are tramps and trash and I am worth nothing. This is normal behavior for Dead By Daylight in my opinion. If i posted a screenshot every time I was told to die or someone threatening to ######### my parents ( which is pretty obscene since they are in their late 70's ) this site would run out of disk space.
Reporting doesn't do any good. People make new accounts all the time and at the same time from what people have told me after I have reported them is they somehow do a ban evasion.
IMO i would turn chat off if it bothers you or if it doesn't wish them a good day, give them a GG <3 and maybe it will brighten their day :)

So as you know the new Resident Evil chapter has arrived in DBD, and with has come a bunch of new players (it has increased by about 30,000 people). Now this is good and all but its not exactly fun to be playing with new players all the time.
With the new MMR system being added, rank reset, and a bunch of new players, the game is really difficult to play.
Most new killers are struggling to play because all the survivors are far better than them (due to rank reset and the MMR), so most of them have resorted to camping or tunneling. This makes for really depressing games.
On the other hand, as survivor, most of the other players are also new making games that end basically as you get hooked because they are too scared to rescue you (or don't know how).
This also effects killers because you can get put with really bad/new survivors as well, which makes for really boring games because you either win super fast or they are all just hiding.
Let me know if you guys agree/diagree with this, or if your experiencing the same issues! :)
what is your solution to this? How do you fix it?

Sometimes being good hurts. Hope the game starts to feel better for you. Keep the chin up and try to enjoy the matches :)

Just solo queued with a group that body blocked so I would get hit and then kept unhooking/stopping/unhooking animation over and over again and then threw the entire game. What is wrong with people? Is this type of stuff supposed to be funny?

Yeah its a newer development with me too. Its like, hey theyre having fun trashing in game, i might as well too. I dont send hate messages or bleed them out on purpose, but a lil love tap wont hurt anyone.
I learned recently that if you stab a hooked survivor while in feral frenzy it doesnt knock you out of it. You can stab them like 8 times before it ends π

If whats the case? Smacking people on hook? I dont see it as a big deal, i lmao every time a killer does it to me. No different than tbagging which 99% of survivors do at gates. Its all in good fun imo
I'm assuming that is where it comes from. Most of my experience is getting a lot of hate during and after matches as a killer and normally just do a GG WP <3 as other killers normally do ( back when i played more survivor ) but now I see it as about even with BM'ing. I was surprised killers BM this much now. They didn't used to nearly this much imo.

Been wondering if that was the case.

something has changed. Can't normally see survivors on gens and on coldwind you can barely see gens.

I haven't played survivor in over 3 months and just recently started playing survivor again ( killer main ) and always thought the survivors were more toxic then killers. What has happened? I would say more than 50% of the matches I am in I see BM's. I'm not talking about tunneling and camping, i dont care about those things.. im talking about trash talking after the match and hitting on the hook and downing everyone and letting everyone bleed out. What happened? I thought killers had more of a code of honor than that?
