Wiggles cosmetics for survivors with a captain Feathersword skin for trapper.
Star trek theme with dwight getting the classic red shirt and deathslinger being a Borg and doc being klingon
-
I absolutely hate going against wraith. Not sure why. I wont give up and DC butbi wonr escape either.
I was forced to play him for the challenges, and used the silent bell and wall hack add ons. I found just hitting people and not chasing, even without sloppy, was the best tactic. Ended up with a 4k just doing the 8 surprise hit challenge.
Did the same thing with just his teachable and devour next game. Devour went down on 2nd stack.
I think his add ons are really powerful.
-
I think even the entity knows which perks are useless and picks the more meta perks before anything else. The entity likes to troll like that!
-
Thats a recent-ish thing i think. I played her about a year ago to level her up and don't remember that happening. Then during this archive i noticed it bad. Unless the survivor was in a dead end or playing ring around the rosiehusk, there was no way to get a hit.

"Unhook someone who previously unhooked you"
The amount of luck this takes if you dont have a friend to intentionally throw for it is ludicrous
@RepostRiposte said:
I just don't like how many challenges encourage you to throw the game i.e. search x amount of chests or take x number of protection hits
The ones i really hate are the ones that force you to escape. I usually play to help others escape. Less stressful when you dont care. Im trying that escape 2 chases and eacape the trial one right now. Im on my 12th attempt i think.
I either die quick because i suck at chases, get the escape without the chases or get the chases and die at the doors.
So frustrating lol

Nice job man, I remember getting my first perfect as Michael a long while back. They don't happen often but when you get them it feels sooooooo good.
It does. Especially after a couple 31900 score games.

Congrats! Now do it again.
As a fellow Xbox Doctor (2nd most played for me......) I can understand the frustration here. He is great fun though!

Congrats! I'm happy for you!
Remember to play other killers though, Doctor can get you stuck in a rut of bad habits when it comes to finding survivors and learning tiles.
I actually haven't been able to play him until this last update. Not sure what it was but it felt like he was sliding around and was impossible to control. So i usually play huntress, pig, clown or legion.

Good job, cheers to many more to come ;-)
Maybe. I usually let last person live....when im not getting stomped by better survivors.

Cant we just get a legendary trapper skin that makes him herobrine?
-
I never had a problem with end game. Even the times the doors spawned next to each other were few and far between so they Didnt bother me much.
I never went for hatch unless i happened to run by it on my way to a door.
But i heard with new update, the lights come on as soon as you touch the lever. That is a huge unneeded swing to the killers favor. I hope they change that back.
-
Wraith. Not sure why but I get stomped every game against him. Even with spine chill. I just suck lol.
Also my second least favorite killer is my teammates. Im not the best player but man there are some really bad players at all ranks.

Killer Queen would work better for a killer that's actually good.
And for Pete's sake, why can't I get through a single discussion without someone mentioning Jane?
Take it back! The part about huntress. Jane can fall into the void for all i care.
Also, monster mash (misfits version) for blight.
Every breath you take (the police) Ghostface. (Despite being take as a love song it was written about a stalker)

You're using words wrong. Strategy doesn't necessarily involve skill or planning. Shooting yourself in the foot is a strategy. If you want to define words your own way you're welcome to but no one else is obligated to care.
Agreed. A strategy is nothing more than a plan. Whether it is a good plan or a bad plan is the debate.
That being said, by OP logic, stealthing when 2 survivors are left in hopes of being the one to get hatch isnt a strategy either. Its unfun and boring and survivors shouldn't be awarded for using that kind of playstyle.
-
Depends when trap was put on. If you have a trap and a generator has not been completed then the trap is inactive. An inactive trap is just an ugly cosmetic.
If you have a trap on and a generator is completed, your trap is now active.
You can tell by the clock around your name. White clock = no threat. Red clock = worry.
As far as exit gates, if your trap is active and you try to escape you die. Not sure about hatch though.
If you have an inactive trap, feel free to butt dance and gesture at the piggy befire moonwalking put the exit.

I still wish that the game would send a screenshot to the player who got morid with ghostface. Instead of the end screen everyone running it would be the picture of them getting killed.

I got the 5 Hooks from regular gameplay, i got the 2 Exposed hits with Make Your Choice, i got the kill with Ivory Memento Mori, and of course i brought the required Perk.
On Wraith, btw.
I actually got it first try with huntress. Brought an ebony but didn't mori until my 5 stacks of devour happened. I think i actually got all 4 with devour.
-
My thoughts;
Make DS activate for 15 seconds. Paused while in a chase or downed. So if killer is actually tunneling it does its job. If killer slugs you it does its job.
Borrowed time - keep as is just require the person to be hooked for 10 to 15 seconds before it activates. Give the killer a chance to leave.
OoO - instead of auras gives killer instinct notification to both sides. Still know where killer is but not whi or what they are doing.
UB is fine as its once per game.
-
Bring a mori. Noed. Make your choice. You dont have to use devour hope. Just have it equipped
-
Another thing is time of day and day of week. I know its weird but certain times i cant play killer as all the red ranks are out and im far from red.
-
Some people do have a way of looking at game files to see what killer is being played. Not sure if they still can but it was a thing not long ago.
-
Went to heal a person on death hook next to shack pallet. Prompted to drop pallet instead of heal. Person died. I felt bad. Ooops

"lets face it, everyone, new and veteran, would abuse the hell out of Technician because you no longer have to fear alerting the killer via failed skillchecks."
No, because no one even semi competent is missing skill checks in the first place. Skill check builds are memes, they aren't actually good against good players. Overcharge and Unnerving are bad perks.
I miss skill checks all the time. I always try for the great checks and often come up just a little short. Also this really is a direct counter to overcharge.
-
Strictly for perks, Ghostface is the only one with perks i ever use. Thrilling tremors and im all ears are decent. Other than that, maybe blood warden from Freddy
Other than that, i think ghostface is the only one of those killers i have play.
-
Yes there is a difference. I try to always carry an obsession perk as survivor. Mainly because i play killer too and i know the difference between games with and without.
And no i dont tunnel purposely so almost never get hit with DS, but there is a feeling if relief when DS is not in play. Its akin to eating too much at thanksgiving amd finally unbuttoning your pants.
Many people will take advantage without obsession
-
Toxic! /s
-
I didnt mind the new sounds as survivor. Look away from the gen and they got less loud.
As killer though the distinct sound made it easier to know a gen was being worked on.
The shadow killer buff has been removed
-
I play solo and hit rank 3 once. I too bounce between 4 and 6. Although since reset i haven't been able to get past 8 so i guess i just suck lol
-
Ive been running distortion. Lets me know if undying is in play, also lets me get the totem before the killer knows im there.
-
The worst part of the traps is the rng nature of the slow down. Most times survivors get them off on first try. Very rarely do i have to search more than 2 boxes.
I think that rbts should need 2 keys to remove. When trap is active, 3 boxes light up. You have to search 2 of the 3. Maybe the 3 farthest from you.
The traps are only lethal to force people off gens. In this way the slowdown is more consistent. Also opening the gates should activate traps
-
All killers start the match undetectable until first chase or hit/grab.
Spinechill (and i use this all the time) should have like 90 seconds total use. Or 60 seconds timer pausing while in a chase.
-
Remove the music when not in chase. Lower the volume of killers footsteps. Bring sound effects that make sudden noises. More things where the environment effects you.
More line of sight blockers and no red stain on killers until a chase

That challenge was so annoying and showed why the Emblem doesn’t need the hook actions condition.
The next challenge, which involves killing 10 Obsessions, is going to be even worse. It sounds easy, but Survivors will do everything in their power to prevent you from switching Obsessions after the first time. They will pre-drop every pallet they can, avoid them as much as possible, and when I try to tell them that they can stun me, they refuse to and would rather die. Last night I had a Nea who refused to stun me and just started tbagging (she was the last Survivor). Tonight I had a Meg who avoided pallets like the plague and refused to stun me. She only used windows and would rather go down than drop a single pallet after she and everyone else realized that I had Nemesis. I would consider them not wanting to farm, but their actions seemed way too deliberate (like you’re really going to ignore the free 1k BP and possible chance to get away when you’re the last Survivor left?) and that they knew they were screwing over my challenge. It makes me wonder Nemesis got some shadow buff that makes it OP as hell and Survivors are terrified of it.
That sucks. To be honest, i have to grind out shards anyway so when a challenge takes a few games im ok with it. Up to a point.
I just hate the having to 4k or have to escape challenges. I quit caring and enjoyed the game more. It became more fun.
Oh well, good luck!
For the record i finally got it. Thankfully
-
Well thank you for your sacrifice lol. To be fair, i think most killers could care less about a key brought in at the start of the match.
For me losing because someone found a pink key in a chest when Ive been busting my hump and finally gotten to a good spot where i can have a hope of winning irks me to no end.
-
What i am doing is going around it by trying to do the survivor challenges. May be hard if you dont play survivor. I have 2/3 though. Been playing all day.

If you're having the hook bug, just drop and try again. It's super annoying but it works most times for me. I'm guessing it's going to be toward the end of the week before we see the fix for the hooks. Don't know what the Plague issue is though.
Sometimes you just cant drop the person. Lose/lose situation

You can't get 1 shard a game, since at most you get 600xp in a match (except in the first match of the day as either role, since you get bonus xp) and you need 800xp to get one shard. You need at least 3 matches to get 2 shards. In the long run, it makes a difference.
0-800 first game 900xp 1 shard
100-800 - 600 XP no shard
700-800 - 600 XP 1 shard
500-800 - 600 xp 1 shard
300 - 800 - 600xp 1 shard
100-800 - first game other role 900xp 1 shard
200-800 - 600xp 1 shard
0 - 800 - 600 XP no shard
600-800 - 600xp 1 shard.
I know you dont always get 600 XP but there are more games where you get shards then when you dont.

why i'm so confused.
500 xp = 1 round
800 xp = 1 fragment
8000 xp = 1 tier
therefore 8000 / 500 = 16
16 rounds = 1 tier
342 fragments = 34.2 tiers
therefore 16 x 34.2 = 547.2 rounds
547.2 / 70 days = 7.81 or 8 round per day
I just seem to get a fragment after every game. So thats why I say 1 per game.

Thank you, Sry i miss understand.
All good. Although if it was 70 games a day I dont think there would be anybody defending it lol

I just think hooks should act like cages. If no one else is around the hooked survivor except for the killer, the hooks respawn elsewhere after so long.

342 remaining fragments or 3420 games in 70 days are ridiculous (3420 / 70 = 49 games per day)
I hope Dev will do something such as double or triple xp or anything that can support players.
342 not 3420. Its 5 games a day

Sorry I didn't see this sooner, I think this is a seriously valid discussion that I think the community should be talking about more frequently. It's entirely within our right as consumers to discuss and criticize a company if they overstep their boundaries by clearly milking their customer base. This I believe, is exactly what is happening in at least one aspect of the rift.
The real problem with the rift is that you can't complete all 70 levels by completing every single challenge. Completing every single challenge all the way to level 4 in a tome only on average gets you to around level 60-65 in my experience. (It won't be the same for everyone because everyone spends a different amount of time on challenges, the longer you spend doing challenges the more shards you'll have earned purely because you're playing more. Whereas someone who is really skilled (or just lucky) and blazes through all the challenges may have them completed, but have still spent a less total time earning shards naturally through gameplay so you'll actually have less by the time you finish the rift just because you finished it so quickly).
The real problem is those last few levels, anywhere from the last 5-10 levels you have to grind COMPLETELY on your own without the benefit of finishing challenges to speed up the process. The end is undoubtedly the longest part of the rift and the grind is absolutely god awful long, it takes 10 fragments to finish just one level, even if let's assume you manage to earn one fragment per game (which is unrealistic, nobody performs that well that consistently) you're still looking at playing at the very least a total of 50-100 matches. let's say you are on level 60 and need to get to level 70, 100 matches with let's say 10 minutes per match (they can easily go for shorter or for longer than this, both outcomes affect how much XP you earn toward your shards, but for the sake of simplicity we'll stick to 10 minutes). That means you're spending a total of 1000 minutes grinding, or in other words: 16.67 HOURS. May as well round up to 17 hours considering the time you spend waiting in queue, loading into the match itself, time you spend picking your build or killer, etc.
And that's if you're consistently getting 1 fragment per match! Realistically that's going to vary by quite the large margin, maybe you go up against a Huntress with iridescent head or a pro Nurse, or Spirit, and the game ends extremely early, Maybe you're playing killer and you're lose completely to the 4-Man-SWF-Blendette Squad, or a single person brings a Key in the match, or everyone is running Unbreakable + Decisive Strike and you can't pressure anybody, and you lose the match. Winning and losing has an effect on your shard gain, if you lose, obviously you get less.
So realistically, it's going to take MORE than 17 hours, it might take 25 or 30 instead. Of course this is if you've completed all the levels by tier 60 in the rift, say you're at level 63 instead, that's usually where I find myself when I finish all the levels, around there. 10 rift fragments per level (earned per match) x 7 levels is 70 matches x 10 minute matches is 700 minutes / 60 minutes for every hour and I'll be grinding for at least 12 hours and only if I'm playing PERFECTLY. Likely I'll be spending a similar 15-25 hours to complete it normally.
This isn't fun, this intense grind for shards where I feel like I'm wasting my time playing well beyond what I normally would per day for these last few tiers anywhere between 60-70 is god awful. Even though, I went out of my way to complete every survivor challenge, every killer challenge, every master challenge, and it still feels like I'm getting the shaft. I can only imagine it must be far worse for people who don't play both roles, have every perk unlocked at tier 3 for maximum output and efficiency on at least one character for both killer and survivor, or are super experienced and know the best builds or strategies to complete every challenge.
It's not impossible by any means, (if you've got plenty of FREE TIME) but it sure as damn hell is unsatisfying. As a player there should be some kind of reward for doing every single objective that the devs challenged you to do, you honestly should make it to tier 70 or at the very least something like tier 65-68 and then you grind the last 2-5 levels on your own, instead of 5-10. It frustrates me to no end that this isn't the case and is very clearly and obviously the dev's way of getting you to shell out a few dollars to just buy the remaining tiers for a dollar each rather than waste your time trying to grind endlessly for it.
I get that "they're a business" but seriously, the game is far successful enough on it's own with plenty of other sources of income from chapters, to licensed characters, to cosmetics (some of which can only be bought with real money) and most egregiously "Legendary Skins" (which are no different in quality than the very rare skins that we've been receiving for four years already now) which are 3/4th's the price of the damn base game. They have all this already, there shouldn't be a need to force these last few tiers down the throats of players who took the time and the effort to complete every challenge in all four levels of a Tome.
As an,average player i have been arguing that the grind isnt as bad as many make it to be. It often takes me more than 2 or 3 games on a challenge. The near miss challenge ive played 7 games and have gotten 2 of 5 despite a 60 ping. Dead hard only works when this challenge isnt selected. And apparently stunning a killer trying to swing through a pallet doesnt count.
However i do see your point on challenges. I play so few games with battlepasses, however one game i play gives rewards where if you finish the challenges give you more xp then needed so they offer extra rewards.
From what i calculated, its worse to do 5 challenges a day. Just do 1 or 2 and play a few games and there wont be as much of a grind. IF you play daily. I dont. Im on 50 and have 18 challenges to go.
Though to be fair, the devout one sucks. 9 hooks and a 4k or you dont get it. Im just not that good lol

Personally i avoid tydetyme and coconut because of their attitude towards the game. Im not going to attack anyone else for liking them.
-
I think a big problem is that devs consider this a party game. Yet many people consider it competetive. If it was strictly a party game then fun perk builds would be all the rage. But its not. So only competetive perks are played
-
Ghostface has the advantage as being able to get the first hit and possible down before anyone knows you are there. Just stealth right away and try to path using as many line of sight blockers as possible.
If you dont think you can expose or catch the survivor dont fully stalk them. Find someone else and finish the stalk later.
Ghostface is fun, just learning when to stalk and when to just chase is important. Also....spine chill is your worst nightmare.

Is replying to me helping? Will No0b3 read this? lol No.
I'll keep watching Otz, Ardetha, Monto and Zubat they at least talk to their community and engage with them.
And stop giving me the "Mental health" aspect, if it's so bad, he should just quit. Not everyone is meant to be a full time streamer.
Hes got fans because he is entertaining. Whether he uploads 5 tines a day or 5 times a year is irrelevant.
Not every content creater has to actively interact with their community. Thats not the job.
You dont like him fine. Thats your opinion. Yes he started off toxic as hell, but his later videos showed a more mature person. So personal growth is good.
I miss Hybridpanda. His father died and he quit for mental health reasons. 1 video popped up a couple months ago and i devoured it. Am i mad that he doesnt upload daily? Nope.
Content creaters are people. And quite frankly if i could pay my bills working 1 day a month i would be all over that.
