So weird. Had 2 matches today against a doctor. Both games the killer stood in one spot, presumably where they spawned, and alternated swinging their weapon and shocking, with the static blast when available. Same skins. I even purposely got hit the 2nd match just to see if I could get a chase and at the very least a few blood points for healing. No matter the amount of game mechanics added, developers will never be able to buff solo q up to coordinated SWF. And the sole reason for that is the players. I try to run kindred as much as possible. I don't have it on some survivors yet. Had a game where I was playing clown. Had 2 dead 1 on hook. Chased and hooked the 4th but after about 10 seconds he 4% and I had to chase him again. I know he probably won't read this but it was a nice feel good moment. No gens done 3 hooks on RPD. Managed to get 15 void energy and unhooked as the killer was coming around. No choice as the hooked one was about to go to struggle. I took the hit and ran. Got a pallet stun and had nothing else. And then I saw the rift. I love the 45 second unbreakable basekit. It allows survivors on the floor from having to sit there doing nothing for 4 minutes while they bleed out. Granted it didn't happen often but it did happen and there really wasn't any need for it. Giving the survivor a way to counter that seems great. I don't understand the unbreakable perk interaction. I've noticed that in almost every single match, while waiting in a lobby there is one person who will not ready up. Gotta wait out the whole minute. I can understand a last minute item or character switch. But the majority of the time that doesn't happen. I get bathroom or snack breaks or whatever while waiting. This isn't an us VS them. Doing challenges so I am forced to play blight. Had to break 8 Pallets or doors with a lethal rush. I'm on console and really am not that good. Survivors brought me to artists map. I went in thinking OK, prioritize the challenge and if I can do anything as far as hitting survivors I will. To make reporting bugs easier on us. Especially on console. Couldn't each match have a unique ID so we want to report something. We give the issue and the ID and then the powers that be can pull up the game and check it out? I mean I can't record more than a minute at a time. I suck so I don't stream. I admit to not paying much attention to the rifts lately. I haven't completed one since number 2. But I have been a defender of it since the rift has launched. I understand economics and the need for a company to make money. I see nothing inherently bad about an optional mechanic that is really only needed to be purchased once. However, no perks no add ons, i wasnt expecting anything more. But as i played more and got used to the tentacle, i started actually enjoying him a lot. I still haven't figured out why. Well, hear me out. Capcom seems to be pushing the newer characters in the latest entries. If I am not mistaken, the Winters are going to be a trilogy. So next game will be focused on one of them. Evidence - 1) Visually they are very similar. Black with tentacles. Although the mindflayer seems more shadowy in form, the resemblance is more than passive. 2) They both are multi-dimensional. The biggest complaint about NOED is that it rewards killers for failing their objective. However, protecting generators is not the killer's objective. The killer's only goal is to prevent survivors from escaping. Protecting generators is a way to buy time towards completing the objective. Went to heal a person under a pallet. Walked up and stopped. Made sure my button prompt said heal. Went to heal and threw the pallet. It has happened before which is why i made sure if the prompt.
