Indeed they do which of course is cheap and not in the game.
>That's cool you think it's cheating…
It's not whether I think it is cheating, having an unfair advantage over other players is by definition cheating.>…but I don't think they agree.
A definition of a word isn't decided upon by voting
>Lots of popular streamers openly use Reshade.
Yes cheating is prevalent in DBD, as mentioned in the OP.
> Again, don't think they agree with you.
Again, it's not a voteA definition of a word isn't decided upon by voting
It kinda is. Society votes. Many definitions have changed or expanded over the decades and centuries by a shift in their common usage.
But you're right, we aren't voting here. It's about what BHVR considers cheating. It's their game, they make the rules. That's how all things work. Sorry if you don't like it. With this nonsensical semantic approach, tunneling someone out at 5 gens is cheating because it gives you an unfair advantage over your remaining opponents.
-
I almost never do it but when I do, it's reactionary, like when a killer is super toxic or tried to tunnel me. If I manage to survive such a match, I will give them a few squats on the way out. This happens maybe once every few hundred survivor matches. As killer, if someone keeps waving, tbagging, and flashlight clicking, I'll nod when I down them or hit them on hook. I personally find these sorts of back-and-forths more playful than malicious. Not everyone is taking the game that seriously.
Humping is a no-go though, and killers who hump everyone for no reason are peak gross to me. I've also had killers that will just spam their power at me when I'm on the ground. Also a no-go. Nor would I ever wait at a gate to BM even the most toxic killer. I just leave. Anything that prolongs the game at the other's expense is a hard no.
I do a hell of a lot of chat trash talking though.

Actually, items for one killer perk, the other one just adds zoning. For two because Weave is almost unusable without franklins and you dont need to even place it in corners you can even keep it if you dont mind getting it back later because the range is just 12 meters which is just to cover one loop.
It's a dead end because the killer has no reason to go there and the reason the killer has no reason to go there is because survivors have no reason to go there. It's a dead end for the survivor, too. You're still wasting time running off to a spot you have no reason to be in order to get rid of something that's supposed to help you out.And when you do it, the killer gets to see your exact location anyway, too.You waste franction of time compare to killer who wasted just two perkslots for one thing that wont happen, if you know how much perks mean way more for killer than survivor than its kinda worth it not to mention you dont even have to do it. Killer can see you in corner for few seconds but unless its high mobility killer who can play with m1 a lot than this isnt problem for you because blight wont run it or nurse.
You complayin here to much for neach combo that requires two perks even BBQ causes survivor to go to locker if they believe killer has it or friends till the end which is still time waste but worth it most of time.
A perk that reliably removes an entire component of gameplay does kind of sound like something that's too strong, don't you think? It removes hinding if you dont go away from gen as new megs that ear killer terror radius so they leave but than again the main part the game is build on are chases not hinding so I dont think its broken because there are many perks that counter hiding so this kind of argument falls off.
What kind of arguing is this? Because it's not as bad as a hypothetical super-busted OP perk, it's not a problem? With that argumentation, you can bring back insta-gen BNPs because 'it's not that bad, it doesn't provide an immediate insta-escape'.If you compare insta BNP to aura perk Idk what kind of good stuf you found but this is totaly off and as I mentioned before this perk is easy to spot killer is kicking gens alot even when they have under 5-10% of progress and when you are around he goes after you or super close to you to surprise you and lockers exist or W+ shift.
There's a ton of survivor perks that are reliant on you doing things that you aren't required to do at all, or things that you may not get the chance to do. Think of Deliverance when someone else gets the unhook, Solidarity when someone else gets the heals off, Inner Strength, Invocations, etc.But things like FoR and particularly NTH aren't comparable to those because their requirements are just completed passively as you play the game. They're on the level of Sprint Burst and Lithe in terms of 'requirements', not Deliverance.Inner strengh - break totem and you can heal in locker, but deliverence ? that perk is heavy meta for some logical reason because it kills killer preasure of need to have other survivor to come and save you thats why its so good.
The requirement is passive only for nowhere to hide because floods are scourge hooks and its heavily effected by rng because scourge hooks can spawn all in one corner so reliability of this perk is questionable only thing that holds it is its strong effect.
I don't think you're paying attention.BBQ's range cap is a -minimum- range. This means that the perk ONLY works to do what was initially said: It gives the killer info to lead them to the next target. It doesn't take their hand and just auto-starts the chase for them, like FoR, Weave and NTH do.That's why NTH especially is a problem perk.Additionally, BBQ has a clear indicator of when it is about to fire. Survivors get no such heads-up for FoR unless they're in a swiffer with comms, meaning BBQ has much better counterplay.BBQ doesnt give you just info about who is 40 meters from hook away you miss this perk entire value here which tells me you dont play killer much do you, it gives you info about all survivors if they are in hook range or if they are far away from hook which can help killer to make his decision on where he will stay or patrol or run off this is what many people miss just like you did now you just look at perks text in game and talk ybout it but totaly missing what this perk does in real game and how is useable this is where your points fall off.
And doesnt NTH have warning too? Like when killer is kicking gen which is loud and can be seen or super easily predicted if he is oing it often (because he runs this perk obviously or maybe oppression), survivors dont know when is their teammate about to get hooked that greatly its there but its not that super clear especialy for soloq where many just dont even know where killer got down and where to look at on screen to expect that few seconds for hook aura of their teammate.
The NTH hasonly one flaw and thats the aura moving with killer and not staing on gen something aliens weapon perk that makes survivor scream after killer opens a locker had before when it was in meta.
If this effect stayed on that gen than its super ok.
T
o quote: "Floods of Rage, Nowhere to Hide and Weave Attunement do not havethisrestriction."I'm not talking about these perks having no restrictions, I'm talking about these perks not being restrained from simply taking the killer's hand and starting the chase for them. These perks take someones hand as many other does they are info perks so logicaly even for 13 old they will help you in where you can have no clue where someone is, majority of perks hold your hand in this game because they give you ceratin effect which you wouldnt be able to have without them even as killer or survivor only thing that makes them different are strenghts of their effects and their reliabilities plus how you get these effects like perk with not so great effect that rerquires all survivors being hooked for first time (krasues exposed perk) not so good compare to perk with same requirement that gives stronger effect or perk that has same effect like in exsample I used exposed perk like make your choise or dragons grip.
Yes, Sprint Burst and Lithe are also perks whose 'activation requirements' are negligible. That's why 'they have activation requirements' is not an argument in NTH's defense and a very slim one for FoR.Floods are way harder to activate than pain res it takes way more time and by that time killer can be fully focused in chase and has aura for 9 seconds so this isnt problem. NTH has one flaw I believe I mentioned it for fourth or fift time in this post and thats it the range sint so huge of a problem if it was I believe devs would already touched that perk like they did to flashlights after south korean stream with one very good dev with that legendary quote about good job, they didnt so it seems its ok Im just for binding that aura reveal to that gens location not killers so its like in 2v8 and same change unltimate weapon got.
You are greatly underestimating Weave/Franklin's. I went up against a p100 Trapper yesterday running it. He hooked me in a central location with items littered around and tried to keep everyone away. I know the counter so, after unhook, I tried to move the items—and got downed again in the process.
And it was a taste of my own medicine because I use this combo a lot myself. I can attribute my 80% KR on Dredge to it. It's counterable, sure, but the counters have risks. You will be seen both picking up and dropping the items, and you'll be oblivious. And the items almost always end up around downs/hooks, so the camping potential is crazy. There's zero way to approach the hook without being seen, and if you're creeping around for a save after a down, you'll also be seen. I'm glad a lot of people sleep on these two perks because without knowledge and coordination, they're a nightmare.
-
I use anon because i don't want my name on someone's stream/videos. All it took was a few run-ins with momo to make it a permanent thing for me. It's bad enough to get smashed for an audience I never agreed to perform for. I don't need my handle out there with it.

I would not see a problem with that as quite often one gen is done anyway before you hook. Still a perk that is always active gives the most useful information to one side that can be is not healthy even if how much you try to defend it.
Wraith and Legion have add-ons that give them constant gen progress info, and thus constant survivor locations. What's the difference?

One could ''advocate'' that tools like Reshade is a sort of ''accessibility'' tool, but I'm sure the existing options in the game should suffice for a convenient play. If the options provided by the said thing would really help people who NEED them, then I'm quite certain devs would had addressed that thing. So far there's a neutral stance on this, but it's obvious that this thing can provide an advantage.
Discord is pretty much the same thing. I believe there's no need to elaborate what voice communication via such program does and how much impact it can have over the in-game options.
People who use these things may deny that these programs give any sort of significant advantage to them upon use as much as their heart desires, but that won't change the fact that their use is pretty much unfair. As for the devs - they simply don't want to ''upset'' the majority of their player base which ironically in this case ( as in many other problematic cases ) are survivor players since killers can't benefit much neither from Reshade nor from Discord Voice communication.
I'm on console. I'm not pro Reshade by any means. But it's whitelisted so there's no official issue with it. The game is already built around people using Discord because it's always been present. Any balancing that happens will naturally include those results.
I believe there's no need to elaborate what voice communication via such program does and how much impact it can have over the in-game options.
Can being the key word. It usually doesn't amongst regular, average players talking to friends. I do about the same on comms or not, no matter who I'm playing with, maybe slightly better solo. Caring too much about your teammates has its own pitfalls. That's the part everyone likes to forget.
killers can't benefit much neither from Reshade
Um what? Most of the killer streamers I've seen use Reshade. Last time I checked in on momo he was pitching it (and simultaneously blaming it for his Oni loss on Toba).
-
Felix for survivor, currently The First with the Henry Creel skin for killer. I've never used the default skin for him yet I've got a badge that i can't relate to at all. Honestly I like my Wesker one, despite is boring-ness, more than these other two.

I'm using it, but I hate my main survivor's badge. For my current killer, I use a Legnedary, so I don't even feel like it's the same character. I'm really hoping this is just phase 1 and we'll get banners, charms, and Lengendary badges.

It's about having an advantage that does not exist within the game itself and is obtained with the use of 3rd party tools.
Dbd's offical Discord has chat channels for SWFing. That's cool you think it's cheating but I don't think they agree. Lots of popular streamers openly use Reshade. Again, don't think they agree with you.
-
Aren't these characters popular due to the ammount of cool skins they have?
Yes and no, I think. When I decided to start playing survivor in addition to killer, one of the reasons I picked Felix was his wealth of cosmetics, many of which I liked. But I really don't see that many other Felixes in the fog, despite his ample wardrobe. There was a slight uptick after the Entombment Rift because he had a cool suit in it, and then again with the most recent unlockable Halloween skin, but I'm back to being the only Felix I see. I get another one maybe once every 50+ matches. And I think he has the most cosplay skins as well, at four.
You have to consider why people pick a character. If I were to guess, they'd be:
Character they can project themselves onto.
Character they think is cool.
Character they think is hot.
People argue strategy for picking female survivors but the newest stats had all male survivors as highest escape rate in upper MMR, so is that even really true? I partially chose for skins but that wasn't the whole reason. Skins won't make me pick a character. And most people have their mains already.
I honestly feel bad for some characters such as David, Gabriel, Jonah, Haddie, Renato, Thalita, Vittorio, even the new ones, Vee and Orella…
Vee and Orela are pretty new. Give them time. I see a lot of Vees. She's popular enough. Gabriel has a limited wardrobe but probably the wackiest. Jonah is one case where the character is tragically unpopular. His skins are all ugly too. Thalita and Renato are also fairly popular. I've seen their recent Halloween skins and that God awful 80s Renato from the current Rift quite a bit. Vittorio is popular too. So I don't think popularity is what's holding back the skins.
I would like to see some of the mobile skins get added. I don't know why they haven't done it. These, for example:
I can't even imagine how well cat maid Sable would do.
-

Such pallets shouldn't be greeded but instead be pre-dropped so they create a loop that many killers can lose time on dealing with.
Tunneling becomes a mandatory if survivors can maintain a ratio of 1 for 1 and killer is still ''spreading hooks''. Once you see 2 generators left and only 3 hooks done on different survivors, that is the moment where there are two options - eliminate someone asap or lose. Some people are too entitled to understand that not every killer can afford being ''kind'' in such situations, hence why tunneling is required if one side does wish to win and not just ''entertain'' another.
Where did I say anything about tunneling? But thank you for the lesson I've actually never played this game before.
-
This just seems kind of petty. It's not like I'm losing points by giving them to someone who brought a personal offering. I'm not mad if I bring streamers and no one else does. It's also circumstantial. My current killer hadn't been released during last anniversary so I have no cake. I've been bringing BPS on him, but my main survivor doesn't have any left, and won't, because I'm not putting many points into him anymore, so it's just not an option.
As for something like getting tunneled, what if the target was the one who brought a personal offering? The least the game can do is let them get some extra points to soften the blow if they finished with 8k. It'd be kinda messed up to rob them of that just because they didn't bring a group multiplier.
Survivors, after all, can coordinate in the pre-match chat, whereas killers don’t have that option.
At least half this game's players are likely on console, so they actually can't do this. And even so, I only occasionally see people try to coordinate (or even speak at all) in the pregame chat.

that was not what i said tho, but the maps have so many pallets now, swamp ect. have much more pallets than when i was a killer
The pallets are mostly trash. A pallet between two rocks isn't even worth talking about.
-
I mean, you can't not play the role for years and expect to instantly do well. That's not the game's fault.
-
I don't use Windows but it isn't a crutch perk. You could have 10k hours and know every possible pallet spawn location. What you don't know is what your team has already used. That's what it's good for.
-
What are you even referencing? Survivor mistakes are punished way more severely than killers. I can't tell you how many killer matches I've had where I've played terribly–pretty much the whole match being a big mistake—and survivors make a wrong choice and I've suddenly won. The speed at which a killer can flip an L into a W is outstanding, whereas it's almost impossible as survivor. If the killer starts out with high momentum it's rare for them to lose.
-
The conspicuous action part is fine but the stun should be longer. Half the roster can chew right through that short stun. If they aren't going to do any basekit anti-tunnel, and everyone wants to keep saying "bring perks", then the perks should be very strong.

No one is saying killers can’t run aura perks or slowdown. The issue is how consistent aura reading has become when it’s stacked. At that point it stops being just “information” and starts acting like built in pressure, because you’re cutting out all the time normally spent searching.
Saying “2–3 aura perks means only 1 slowdown” sounds like a tradeoff, but constant info often leads to faster downs anyway, which makes up for that loss. So it’s not really a weakness.
And the comparison to Whispers or Spies doesn’t really land. There’s a big gap between occasional tracking and repeatedly revealing exact positions.
From a solo queue perspective, it just feels like there’s no room to play around it when your location keeps getting revealed over and over. That’s why I believe it needs serious nerfing. Not because killers shouldn’t have info, but because the current level of consistency is too much, survivors are already weak enough.
So it’s not “we can’t run anything,” it’s more that stacking aura reading this easily removes too much uncertainty from the game.
Personally I think a system that classifies all perks then only allows you to bring no more than two of a set type would be better than the diminishing returns were about to get, which still allows killers to bring four slowdowns or four aura with no reduction in power. I'd be perfectly fine with that sort of restriction even if I can no longer bring four aura, if it means other kilers can no longer bring four slowdown.
-
Lol at anyone thinking this would be used well by average playing strangers. It'll be insults, cursing, and bad info. I'd perma-mute on day one and that would be that.
-

It counters mainly BBQ and Friends Till The End real good. Add Distortion if you want all aura reading to be countered.

@jesterkind said:
Honestly, I think the counterargument is as simple as most aura perks on most killers not really being that much of an issue.
There are definitely good and strong aura perks, but there aren't that many which provide too outsized of a benefit- they can direct you to a chase, or give some limited edge within a chase, but they're all held in check by their requirements, timers, counters, and so on.
I'd go so far as to say the only problematic aura reading perk I can think of off the top of my head is probably just Nowhere To Hide, since it following the killer instead of being tied to the generator makes it really powerful on a fairly good chunk of the roster.
Anything else is a killer by killer basis and in most of those cases it's the killer being too good, not the perk.
I've always thought it was weird it follows the killer and doesn't stay on the gen, but I guess it would be kinda bad if it didn't. It's already so short.
Out of all the aura I use, I'd say Nurse's Calling is the most problematic, since it can make finding a tunnel target off-hook kinda easy. And with undetectable of any sort it can be a real issue. It's easy to figure out when it's in play though, but often the hard way.
-
If you're good, aura doesn't matter that much. I bring 2-4 aura perks and get thrashed regularly by good players.
-
I'd have to dodge every match.
-
There being basically no way to counter Killer Instinct, combined with Legion's obnoxious ability, makes him the worst (and most annoying). Krasue is up there too, especially since most of her players cheese with Bamboozle and Dissolution to further shut down counterplay. Singulairty wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take 5 days to get the EMP.

Disliking Ghoul isn't exactly a rare opinon.
-
Why are people defending this? If one little graphic change (that wasn't there before) will make it so people can play without issues, then just do it. Lots of people are colorblind, that's why there are colorblind settings. Lot of people have motion sickness, that's why many games have adjustments to help with nausea. We don't just tell these people not to play if a small fix will help.

About 50/50 for role but leaning more killer as of late. I used to play other pvps, all shooters, but this is the last one left. I never intend to play another one. Otherwise, I play horror story games, but dbd eats up most of my time.

The cogs in your head sure aren't turning. If biased killer mains got what they wanted, 2/3s of the roster wouldn't be hot garbage, Blight and Nurse wouldn't have been nerfed, these killer "buffs" wouldn't be a joke, and SWF would have gotten nerfed years ago. It's astounding that after 9.2.0 showed BHVR's true intentions with the game that you still SOMEHOW think they care at all about killers, nevermind that you actually think they favor them over survivors. You're either staggeringly oblivious at best, or disgustingly malicious at worst.
The Blight nerf is supported by noteworthy Blight mains. Just about everyone else supports it too, including killer mains. The Nurse nerf is just an add-on. If you can't handle S tiers getting knocked down slightly, maybe the issue is you.
You say 9.2.0 showed their true intentions? And what happened to all those proposed changes? They did indeed attempt to address years of pain points for survivors. It lasted, what was it, three days of ptb? Referencing the patch they completely nuked after killer CCs went wild as a good example of pro-survivor bias is certainly a choice.
-
I have even seen 4 aura perks
Oh no it's me!
Honestly though, as survivor, I'd rather go against aura than antigen. Once I figure out the perks, I can counter them. Most, like Nurse's Calling, BBQ, Friends til the End, Darkness Revealed, and Nowhere to Hide, are pretty obvious. Weave/Franklin's is also very easy to counter (and outright destroy). I've also been running Self-Preservation as survivor. It's a stellar perk.

I'll do a little silliness as both killer and survivor, sure, but only in the event that I was going to go down/get a down anyway, or quickly enough that it limits the disadvantage it puts me at. Like if I path into a dead end (still happens ik big noob), I'll let the killer know I'm aware and embarassed of my certified bonehead moment.
That said, I never throw for the purpose of the funny, especially on survivor. I'm in soloQ 99.9% of the time and I don't want to ruin 3 other people's experiences just so I can maybe exhale slightly through my nose when the killer nods at me.
The big early-game DCers I've come across are the wannabe bully squads that play for flashes and sabos and get styled on by simple M1 chases. In those cases, I'm not even mad though, it's gratifying as hell, especially if they were last-second switching loadouts.I'll be silly at the drop of a hat as survivor, but for awhile now, most of my killers have been merciless sweats. Nothing like me. I feel like I can't afford to have a spec of fun against these people. Mostly I've just been geting BMed.
My DCers on killer have been people who go down 20s into the match. There's often a chain effect after that, with two or three people DCing, and me giving hatch because I feel bad. Then my other matches are psycho teams stomping me, without any of the mercy I give out. It's been a really unpleasant loop lately, when all I want are normal, mid matches as a normal mid player.
-
I have a lot of people throwing and giving up, but not like this. More often then not, my killer matches are sweaty as hell lately. Then i have these ones where I gain instant momentum and everyone DCs or gives up. There's been little in-between.
I did have one guy like this yesterday. He'd play normal until I got a hit then he'd crouch and wiggle around. It honestly aggravates me when people do this dumb stuff when it's clearly soloq. You're just screwing your team.

When do survivors get nerfed and killers get buffs at a basekit level? The last time that happened which was both at the same time was 6.1.0 and the community was flooded with the idea that killers were overbuffed then.
The 15s BT, and the complaints have been endless. There are even posters regularly asking for the BT to be completely removed in end game. After the anti-cheese ptb got nuked, we had numerous people asking for the proposed killer buffs to be basekit while still leaving out the survivor ones. Fog vials were a new item that were decimatd immediately because of complaints. Even something as mid as 120s basekit Unbreakable couldn't happen. There are no new buffs because the community won't allow them.
The last time that happened which was both at the same time was 6.1.0 and the community was flooded with the idea that killers were overbuffed then.
Isn't that that funny? Complaints, but nothing happened. And killers have been strong ever since. This was the turning point, and we keep going in the same direction with no shift.
And I'm not necessarily talking about basekit. Perks matter too, and there was silence about the Ruin and Pop buffs, despite survivors universally finding 4 slowdowns unbearable. There've been good perks released on both sides recently, but the CCs haven't hard focused on them, and most on survivor are stealth. When the topic shifts away from gens and to "ratting" again, we'll see them cry about those next.

Ironically it might push people to drop the niche stacking builds and just run meta perks. I know I wont want to run goofy altruistic builds like botany+empathic connection for a whole 15% penalty. Might as well just run resilience, DS, and stay injured. No fun allowed
Indeed. This is shaping up to be the anti-fun ptb.

Let's also not pretend to ignore that most killers run at least 2 aura reading perks. This does nothing to any of that.
I currently run four and yeah, I will be unaffected. I don't think a single one of my killer builds are touched by this.

The Ishimura or some of the colony areas from Dead Space 2 would be rad maps.

I'm actually not sure why they even bothered hyping these up. They're barely worth talking about.

yeah so my assessment is entirely correct. You don't acknowledge any of the reasons for why these things would get changed, just that they did, they were killer issues, and that they were complained about. And based on that you think developers will change everything killers complain about.
Survivors get a lot of things that i think that you don't acknowledge because they aren't widely discussed or complained about. This is either because they are strong but not problematic or require advanced level play to get value from. And both of things mean any complaints about them won't gain traction.
Fast track is an exception i believe because of it's applicability. It's an old perk that is very easy to use and it's only counter is to not hook survivors and that is the part that people are trying to point out. It's not that they're killer issues, it's that killers are a minority but are louder, and the popular CCs are mostly killer mains, and that loud minority keeps gettig their way. You never see the same level of hyperbolic reactions when survivors get nerfs or killers get buffs. Complaints, yes, but not with the same intensity of screeching entitlement. If it was equal, and you saw videos with titles like "survivor is dead" and "why I'll quit survivor if this goes through" then at least the drama would be equally stupid. But it isn't, and the squeaky wheel keeps getting the oil. That is my problem with this company, and this playerbase.

I'm not sure what strong thing survivors have that I don't have to here complaints about everyday. Exhaustion? Basekit BT? Gen perks? Healing perks? Chase perks? Holding W at a slower base speed than killers?
And why shouod things only be valuable for great players? And only for one side? Most players aren't 10k hour pros.

Really bummed to see the Dredge updates being basically nothing. He's terrible against decent players who know his ability. Please at least improve the locker spawns, I am begging.

I think you and I are more old school gamers. To us, we grew up putting in the time, building the skill, then getting the pay off. I think modern gaming is more about instant gratification. People want it to be easier for themselves, and they struggle to understand that their opponents also want it easier so it's a constant tug of war in pvp.
Remember having to earn stuff instead paying for it? Crazy days.
I'm pretty at odds with modern gaming and I'm glad this is the only pvp I still play, and I think it will be the last. Maybe other games aren't like this, but a time where some guy with a camera and a mic can tell the masses and the devs how the game is going to be is just not for me anymore.

I was also hopefull at the anti-tunnel changes.
I was one of the people that reduced their playing time.
Till this day my solo queue teammates do not bring DS and are getting tunneled, making the matches impossible to win.I don't enjoy suvivior experience lately either, playing killer gives me much more joy.
I started playing this game as a 100% survivior player.
All my real-life friends that made me install the game left long time ago.
People that I made friends with left the game either, there is not much of them left - and they barely even play.Killers are getting so much harder to deal with for casual players, with all the anti-looping abilities etc.
Ping hits happen so often now which makes the experience much worse. Those hits that you feel like should never register especially. Killers are having really high ping are rewarded.
On the killer side I don't experience much frustrations. It's mostly easy to win the games.
I also give out "mercy hatch" all the time, if survivior doesn't DC. Trying to make someone elses experience a little better, sometimes we all need that.I started as killer and stayed that way for awhile, and really didn't realize how rough survivor was until I switched. It's so disadvantaged and so info-heavy, there's so much more to learn than killer, where with killer, you can have a single killer down in a couple hundred hours.
I will say, DS is trash against a lot of killers. The stun needs to be longer. I sometimes get people who bait me with it, so I oblige and, currently playing as Henry, if I'm in World Breaker, they're still within vine range and get sniped the moment I recover. It's not powerful enough against ranged or high mobility killers. If any perks need a buff, it's anti-tunnel. Those should make tunneling damn near impossible if we can't get anything basekit.

This is a big thing that's frustrating me in the game. I'm giving hatch every time I play, but not because I thought the person did well and deserves an out or just to be nice. I'm doing it because the matches are stomps. I've regularly had 2 or 3 DCs in my matches lately because of how lopsided they are. I'm being backed into moral corners every session. The game is forcing me to feel bad for my opponent, which is not the feeling I'm looking for. Then I come here and see killers cry about 15s Endurance or, God forbid, the horror that is tbagging, and it's just so embarrassing for the killer role. They want more and more, and I feel pretty confident most are above the 60% KR goal.

I feel like that would have the opposite affect that you want. You would actually encourage slugging because most survivors would use that and kill themselves early (just remember when you could easily ######### on hook). So killers would be MORE incentivized to slug to get rid of someone quick.
It would have to be conditional, and have a timer before it starts, and the bleedout wouldn't be fast. But bleedouts don't count as kills on personal stats, so currently the only satisfaction I can get when I'm left on the ground is to hide and try to rob them of the kill.

Well, while that is true I didn't say you had to stay in one place. most survivors walk the outer perimeter of the map and crouch. Running here and there or going in and out of a locker to prevent crows. There's ways to be mobile and hide at the same time. Which in the case of the original post is more than likely the thing to do when they are slugging like that.
edit: Also, love how people downvote and then don't post why lol. It's not like I was incredibly wrong in my original post. Plenty of people have had to do just that in those moments. myself included. Kinda wish when people disagreed with something though they'd give some sort of response and actually contribute to the conversation.
Lockers and running don't stop crows. You have to work on gens for a set amount of time, fully open chests, and fully cleanse totems.
@topic if we aren't going to get any basekit anti-slug, we should at least get a manual bleed out option to finish the timer out and make hooking more advisable than slugging.
