She's just tired of her team's caca.
-
Same, about 30 minutes ago. I've looked around social media and have not seen anything about it.
-
Favorite is Feng's, and probably the only survivor one I'll buy. Jane's is lovely and David's is pretty nifty, but I'll pass. Yui's is bland.
Very tempted to buy Oni's. I did however just buy his Ninja Turtle looking skin a week ago, and I like yelling calabunga when I go smash. I'll pass on Clown. I think it's a fun costume for him, but I don't think they actually captured Hades... at all. Still, it fits Clown.
-
I've said a bit on this in other threads, but since this seems to be the longest, most dedicated thread in the feedback section: It sucks. Stylistically I like the retro-x-ray-Terminator-Predator-80's-movie look. I don't like not being able to see the information the game is suppose to convey, which is way more important than aesthetics. Bad execution.
-
That was glorious.
-
Pictures the Legion singing Backstreet Boys now.
-
Omg I need to go hop on my best girl after Steam maintenance, lmao.
-
The new aura's are not my cup of tea in practice. Seeing a survivor in the distance or a totem I'm not on top of is a pain. I haven't even tried it with killer yet, but I just know it's going to be worse.
Stylistically I don't mind the auras. Reminds me of something from an 80's movie, like Terminator or Predator. I just think they need to make them more pronounced.
Plus, other than having to wear glasses, my eyesight is fine. I don't have an issue with detecting certain colors. So I feel for people who do.

Almost every game I’ve played today has been Bubba, I haven’t seen a Billy yet
Just went against a bunch of Bubbas, and man his buff is nice. All of his skills seem niftier now.
Thankfully I started seeing some Legions, a Wraith, & a Ghost Face. Getting tired of chain saw gang, lol.
-
I don't think I've ever hated going against Billy more than right now, but it's probably because I just had 6 back to back and we died each time.
Edit: Also good luck finding totem auras. You have to be almost on top of them with a map.
-
This was a perfect case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Auras were fine. 😐
-
Yes please. Make it viable for plays with solo survivors. I love the rare times when survivors figure out I have it, but I also hate when they think I have it as Jane. I almost never run it on Jane since killers expect it.

I prefer the Jojo and fnaf threads to this thread alone.
Same. And I'm not a fan of either, but I can stomach it.
-
I've had a lot of survivors defend me as a killer and the choices I make, and I've in turn done the same for killers when I play survivor. Always appreciate that, it's nice.

Here's the thing though, his work was directly influenced from his racism. His work at 2 major influences; him being a shut in (so thusly the outside world is filled with horror) and his racism ( thats what made the outside world scary for him..)
My feelings on the matter mirror what a lot of people have already said: You can separate the work from the artist. I'm not a big fan of today's polarizing climate where you're not allowed to see shades of gray -- the whole picture is important. I don't think it's hard to recognize the guy was a dill weed, but a dill weed who influenced many creatively. It's history now. Again, Einstein was often a prick in his life time as well, but his work is indispensable.
Everyone should be perfectly within their right to come to their own conclusions having the full story at their hands. As far as BHVR adding a chapter dedicated to Lovecraft, I think it's potentially a bad business move at this time. The Entity is already ambiguously Lovecraftian, and small stuff like t-shirts causes a lot less hoopla.

Freddy, but only marginally more than Spirit. I def lose more to Freddy though.

Now that you mention it, I got the same group over and over again earlier. I had to dodge that lobby about 10 times until I finally got 4 other survivors.
If anyone wants to know why I dodged -> 2 keys. I don't like to use moris just because someone uses a key, but I don't want to get robbed in the late game either.
Actually, now that you mention it, the game kept trying to throw me into the same 3 man group last night. Not sure if they were actually together, but one was a streamer, so I just kept leaving.

No. No. Also no en espanol. No.
Y'all go back to asking for FNaF please.

No, it's currently only active on Xbox
I believe they've been testing it randomly, and said as much, at least previous to the current XBOX test. Also seen someone else claim they'd gotten nothing but the same killer to an obscene amount. Might not be connected, but worth noting.
-
Ermmmmmmmmm........ I've seen a lot of Freddy's farm after obliterating teams lately? Lol. I mean, that's nice, I guess.
-
That's pretty nifty. Gave you a follow.
-
I feel like I need Sloppy on Pig, so I always take it. Nurse's Calling is just the extra oompf, and great for well timed ambushes. Thana I want to try on her eventually with that combination, but it's a perk I tend to throw on any killer when I don't want to be focusing on popping gens too much. Which, I know may not be so productive. I wouldn't run Thana without Sloppy.

Even though H.P lovecraft was a racist #########, the man was a genius when it came to cosmic horror. I would kill to see a cultist.
Unfortunately due to how rampant racism has always been (with some improvement the last 50ish years), if we were to drop every artist or deceased famous person in general who was proven to be -- you'd be missing a lot. Albert Einstein, who did amazing things for science, and even supported equal rights for people of color, was extremely racist towards the Chinese. He compared them to insects if I recall correctly.
Still, I admit I was really disappointed when I found out how bad Lovecraft was. I'm a huge fan of his work, and all of the games, movies, etc. it spawned.

The entire lore of DBD is very Lovecraftian in nature. The Entity to me seems like a monster from his fiction. Something beyond our comprehension. And the way trials continue for eternity is a lot like his stuff too. Devs definitely were inspired.
I wouldn't get your hopes up about a killer though.
That's how I always describe the base lore to people. A creature that is some what God like (or alien) creates it's own realm in order to feed off of hope. It's perfectly Lovecraftian.
Edit: And to add, I think I seen on that contraband website they're bringing some shirts to the store in the near future that have "Kraken" in the titles. So perhaps that's their small way of marking it. I don't even know what they look like though.

I play PS4 so I just spin my analogue stick in circles. Works smoothly.
I play with a PS4 controller on Steam. I had a cheaper generic controller previously that I think did die due to insane swirling, but again it was a 20 dollar thing from China.

"I just got some new games and I'm having more fun playing those."
Yet, you're on a DbD forum not playing those games.
Speaks volumes about the longevity of this game.
Im an old school Ultima Online player killer, we literally created PVP back then, and the game is still going after 20+ years.
DbD will be around for a long time.
Bam. I played Ragnarok Online off & on for over 20 years. And it's still here. I could see DBD going for a long time. Idk about 20 years, but who knows?
-
I love Midwich.
Quentin should get his ketchup P3 back.
-
I think the biggest detriment to this game is just the grind, pure and simple. The number of people who are turned off by it and the fact it only keeps growing is pretty large. I'm at 510 hours now. I still don't have every killer leveled with at least perks to where I'd like them. All of my survivors are over 40 but maybe half only at 50. I haven't prestiged anyone either since again, I got a lot of work to do on my killers. That's a lot of time to not have at least one character maxed with all perks on at least one side.*
-
I like my men geometric and thicc.
-
He was my second killer to level and I absolutely hated him. I often felt like I had to camp as well, but... The thing is he's a some what harder killer and yet when you're new to killer he's going to be one of the first you level for BBQ. He's just not beginner friendly.
-
I've been practicing a lot too, and so far the best way to shred seems to be when a survivor stops looking back for a second. If they're looking at you, they'll just dodge. However it can work to your advantage to fake them out too, as I've had survivors veer off making them lose distance.
-
Since this map released it feels like my team mates just go full potato half the time instead of trying. I love the map, and I think there’s a lot to work with on it. Perhaps the totems are a bit too hard to find, and OoO is a problem — but OoO seems to have needed addressing for a while.
I win more as killer on it, and sometimes people just DC all together. Hopefully as people get to play it more this lessens, but it wasn’t well received.

I believe it is a glitch or a hack and it won't be a thing once it's fixed
I know, from my understanding though it's very easy to do, and the information could be easily removed. They just have to decide to do it, and with this change I hope they do.
-
The only concern I have (so far) with the announcement is on PC, people can see who the killer is. Will that be fixed by the time this goes live I wonder?
-
Bond since your problem is running the killer towards folks and Dead Hard is dependent on ping. Aftercare would also fit since you're running BT, and you'd have a map wide eye on them. Provided you're good at not getting hooked and doing some unhooking.

Actually, I was wrong about the anti-glare. My monitor does not have that feature.
That's definitely it then! Hopefully you can get one some time if you like playing early.
-
I play regularly on PC with a controller. I think I hold my own fine as both survivor and most killers. Killer it's a bit more difficult when precise aim is needed.
-
I was going to suggest an anti glare monitor but I guess you already have that. I also have one and don't have this problem. Do you wear glasses? Could they be enhancing any glare?

I was doing it waaay back when I was a beginner and only for the achievement. Since I've got it, I don't unhook myself in the survivor's face and give them unhook points. I don't want to be a bastard 'cause I know how it feels and can relate. I try to unhook myself only when nobody runs to save me or everybody is down.
I was thinking to finish this achievement I'd just run Deliverance for a while. That way it doesn't detract too much from the match -- survivor's can stay on their gens if I can get it off safely quick enough.
-
That's disgusting. I am in the "gotta close chat" gang unfortunately. It shouldn't have to be that way, I agree, but PvP games aren't known to be nice. Now if something interesting or funny happens in game, I open it again. I've had great chats this way. Typical matches though as killer, no.

Right?!

Yeah it's a trend youtubers came up with.
When I play survivor I'll give you 2 choices. You either let me unhook you (I also bring borrowed) or you try to unhook yourself.
You can't have both, you have to chose. I'll turn around and walk away or let you go into 2nd stage.
I just stand there and point at them until they're almost in second stage. Then I unhook them. Because I like points.
-
Ghostface just sounds like he is so done with everyone's #########.

I like playing against Nurse, but I don't like playing her. I wasn't here previous to her rework.

Clown as a DBD concept even in VR doesn't seem fearsome, actually. Sadly.

My reasoning lies in the fact that they're making a spectacle of your failings as a killer.
As we already don't get punished for a single mistake, TTV televises your mistakes and the audience laughs.
Not in my lobby.
Spot on. I don't mori, I just leave, but still. I'm here for my entertainment, not your viewers. And some of these folks have nutty fans that I just don't care to deal with.
-
Ya' know, there actually is Pagan & Eastern religious icons already in the game. We're pretty use to popular media taking them for their own devices though, I guess.
-
I hope this doesn't happen. Imagine back to back games of nothing but Claudette's, because her ability is the most popular meta. Blargh.
