Jane's? Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson are the survivors who received Junji Ito outfits. Do you mean Yun Jin's Junji Ito outfit, or do you mean you bought some other Jane outfit?
Oml I thought Yun-Jin was Jane for some reason. Sorry y'all. Case closed.

Also having this on occasion. Played one match, escaped, disconnected, and didn't even get blood points despite reaching the end screen. A lot of desyncing tonight as well.
-
This whole thing is pretty lackluster to me, ngl. I usually love the events but this is just meh, as a mostly solo survivor main. To boot one of the incentivized skins is Skull Merchant... please don't entice people to play her, lol.
-
Well, not saying you have to change playstyle or that what they did was right, but it can be irksome in a team game. I think one of my biggest annoyances is when the team has ran the killer for two hooks each and our 4th person is just hiding out, instead of taking their two hooks as well so we can have our equal turn at gens or simply prolonging the game. Still, if you're helping your team and not just holding the game up, I don't see why they'd rat you out personally.
I had a Jake just yesterday accidentally give our position away, because I had Inner Strength and was trying to get a locker heal off, after pointing him away to do the last gen, with the killer nearby. He was persistent and it resulted in him losing. Sometimes it could just be by accident.
-
I'd love to hear BHVR's take on this, lol. Probs won't be hearing it but good Lord, that's ridiculous.

Decent perk once people stop checking the basement for perks

Yeah that. Maybe a bit longer but eventually it'll be decent enough to consider running, but won't beat out the likes of Inner Strength or just taking a med kit.

Your probably burnt out trying to constantly win in a game where you're not meant to constantly win. Focus on getting BP each match and take each outcome with a grain of salt.
That. I'm happy if I feel like I've gotten objectives in: Gens, rescues, heals, saves, etc. I die plenty, but I also score pretty high generally too.
-
I don't think it's "ruined", though I do think certain killers are a bit broken for solo's -- like Skull Merchant, or Sadoka with the best add on's and perks to accompany. Mostly it feels about 50-50 for me. Win some, lose some.
What I hope is BHVR actually maintains balance and doesn't over favor one side or the other. Survivors haven't gotten much lately that isn't lack luster perk wise. Sometimes it feels like they nerf things for the sake of it being strong as well; to shake up the meta or quail complaints. Curious to see what they do to Adrenaline, since I can't see how it's OP -- one time use perk that you have to make it to end game for it to be useful. There are ones I agreed with though, like old DS, where there wasn't much you could do to avoid it without waiting out a minute.
-
Also just noticed this. This is primarily when I use a flashlight, so it's a bummer it doesn't work.

I put my Oni up for both being able to say I p100 and also because now I have over 100 or every add on (besides Akitos crutch since I use it constantly ) but it means I can use any add one again and again.
Yeah I can see it more with Killers if you're dedicated to a play style. With survivor though, I just play whoever I feel like atm. I can also see it if you don't like to switch survivors around.

Damn it! It doesn't glow in the dark on Nintendo Switch. I'm glad I asked. You should see our exit gate lights 😫
I couldn't remember if it's a strong glow, but it's really not! You can see here:
(1) The Infinite Medkit | DBD - YouTube
I think the neon is more noticeable than the glow itself. In fact I've had to debate with myself if it's just the fact it's neon or it's actually glowing, lol.
-
I'd like it if there was a reason to P100 at all, besides saying you P100'ed. I just throw points into whoever is lacking items, but this would make me want to level at least one dedicated like.
-
I'm super looking forward to it. I'm also a whale at times, so I look forward to whatever cosmetics come along for playing it, lol. But mostly the game itself: Give me more lore.
I'd be surprised if this killer wasn't already in the works to join DBD's roster.

Really beautiful, isn't it?
And to think it was taken away... BHVR really ought to release a classic pack.
Yep. I can honestly say if it looked like that now, it would probably be one of my favorites.

That's what I thought but I'm trying to verify.
It does glow in the dark, so if you're someone who does a lot of stealth game play, might not help, but otherwise it doesn't affect your overall character.

It used to be a map which I really liked.
I remember how beautiful it used to look:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/7SFDTGL2L4J8/image.png
It was magnificent. I was used to its loops and advantages, so I liked to get it. Slightly more as survivor than killer.
But now I can't stand to look at it. That... wasteland is not Disturbed Ward, and it never will be.
Wow that's pretty.
That was my one complaint about it, really: It's so dull. Everything is almost the same shade of gray or brown. I don't mind either color, but it does look like nothing but a wasteland, and we have such detailed maps now. It's drab and boring.
-
- Oni. I just suck against him, lol. I don't like his character design, his rawrs, his vampirism -- he's my least favorite all around.
- Blight / Wesker / Nurse -- I'm lumping these three together because they are so powerful, but the first two it's more about the pick rate than the gameplay. I see them so often, it's boring. If I get a Nurse though I guarantee one of my teammates will DC or die on hook to get out quicker, so of the three I dislike her the most, though I do respect a good Nurse player -- even if she's probs going to wipe the floor with me.
- Skull Merchant. Three gen fest. Extremely boring games. My least favorite of all experience wise.

I'd love base kit Kindred. I don't need the self unhook.
That. I play mostly solo so one perk is almost always taken up by Kindred. I can't think of a notable match where self unhook did much, besides keeping the killer camping for too long -- but just enough so it's either a trade or you're dead.
But yeah a lot of my matches today people were killing themselves on hook when they were downed first or just in general. It's par for the course but it did seem like more than usual.
-
I'd def use it. </3
-
I get it. Idk how many times I've yelled at my screen "-insert name- take one hit for me please." when they've not been hooked the entire match and I'm on death hook. They seldom do, lol. If they are using it for the reasons you think, it's likely they're not good at chase to begin with. Those sorts of players are also going to bring the killer to you on purpose often times, and they'll find other ways to hide from the killer, so it's not really the perk so much but bad gameplay, ya' know?
-
I will say the tunneling was awful today. My first 5 matches were quite unlucky -- found first and then tunneled for 2 or 3 gens. Soon as I equip DS, I use it once, and then the rest of my matches the tunneling stops, but idk that's gonna happen so I'm not using perks I would prefer. This game can be so irritating, lol.
-
Using Stake Out, Hyperfocus, and Technician made it easy once I found out it was bugged. Just let my team finish the last half of then gen so I wouldn't lose progress.

Exactly. Gimmie SH2 already. I'm just pretending Ascension doesn't exist at this point.
Nancy's though get a bad rep... That sometimes is deserved. Frikkin' totem gremlins who will body block you over them. I've just had a lot of "You jerk" moments with my fellow Nancy's.
Fengs are costume goblins, and it's true -- if I P100 anyone ever, it will be her, 'cause I just play whoever's look I'm feeling atm, and she has a lot of good ones.

I need Jane's. That's so cute.

Yes, but it does sometimes happen when players make mistakes, and so.. as unfair as it is for killers to force a 3-gen, it's just as unfair if these changes punish the killer for the survivor mistakes. That's as I just said, my fear that these changes might do.
Yep. Besides Skull Merchant who does it far too often and easily, causing numerous boring games, I really don't see it as a problem. When we do get three gened by other killers, we can often pull it off if everyone keeps running back to the gens the moment the killer is distracted. Sometimes it can get tedious, and you lose, but survivors can help prevent it for the most part -- and killers need to win sometimes, lol. Perhaps in lower MMR brackets its more of a problem as players are learning, but you do learn.
-
Gonna keep saying it like many others: I was hyped. I like customization in games or otherwise online, and it was such a weird choice to release it this way. Even the fact you get a Chucky icon/banner for Tiffany was disappointing -- I'd much rather have Tiffany. It's why I bought Tiffany, because I would prefer to play as her. Then we could have had 2 options as well, but nope.
They should have had this ready to roll out with some variety, or just waited. No one that I saw was complaining about it taking too long, but there are mass complaints about how poorly implemented it's been. I will say I think they did a great job on the recent events and things though.
-
I theorized with a friend that for some reason, Microsoft email accounts (like Hotmail, Live, Outlook) aren't getting them, but Gmail accounts are. Only thing I ever received on my Hotmail was a subscription verification, but I received the bloodpoints email on my Gmail.
-
I've played probably 40-50 or so games against Chucky since he released, I don't find my teammates are giving up. I'm sure one or two probs has, but I can't even think of any specific instances atm where it was super obvious. That award goes to Nurse players.
-
I haven't played today, but I'd say the last week or so has been interesting. Sometimes I get great teammates, but I've also seen one or two Blendys with self care in a corner -- I had not seen that in a while. Maybe it's just MMR balancing out? One can hope.
-
As a survivor main, I rarely see three gens -- and when I do it's almost always Skull Merchant. I feel like that's the reason for all this, because otherwise I think three gens are fine. I've seen an increase in tunneling and proxy camping, which I think would be a worse problem for newer players. I'd say I'm above-average and we do okay with it, but let a nurse show up and someone is killing themselves on hook.

Ty for that. I actually received an email for once, lol.
And thank you BHVR for all the goodies. <3 The event this passed week was great too.

Yes please. I have no reason to prestige passed 6 besides needing items on occasion. The reward is having a high number.

You have to buy a Chucky skin. I was confused too.

The Chucky's icon and banner should be included in the DLC! What is the point of getting a DLC then? the charm? It makes no sense to me the fact that you ALSO have to buy a skin to have a banner and icon. I mean, it's possible, but the icon and banner are the character's base design... not Tiffany or the other skin..
Ya I thought the DLC was bugged for a minute and was disappointed not to get Tiffany stuff for the Tiffany skin. 😐️

It's intentional - they're the cosmetic contest winners, and those are only ever available for purchase by Iridescent Shards because I don't think that Behavior can't make a profit from it
Ahhh that makes sense. These were the only outfits I think to come into the store I'd missed from rifts. Thank you for informing me! Shards it'll be.
-
Ehhh, as a fellow solo-Q survivor I get it. Sometimes it does feel like matches are harder, and that's because they are -- MMR has made the game more competitive, and I notice it the most when I end up randomly getting into a match with a 3 man SWF. I run fun builds though, that cover my bases (healing / gen / chase usually), and I just expect to lose half the time. I am not out here trying to be the best, because I'd have to be playing a lot more than I do for that. It's really what you make it.
All that said, I got sick for about 3 months and ended up taking a 6 month break. Really made me enjoy the game more, even though getting back into the swing of it made me feel like a noob, lol. Switch it up for a bit, and when you miss it, come play again. Finding a friend to die with also makes it a different game. I've played with my kids, husband, and some friends over the years, but sadly I'm the only one who really stuck with it.
-
I was excited about MMR, but reflecting back on it, I preferred the game without it. Sure, there were days where each and every match sucked, because I am not the best player out there, but there were days the matches were great, or fairly balanced, and more random silly matches.
Basically it went from casual to competitive. If you're a streamer though, I''d think you'd want competitive -- that's kind of the point I would think? I'd rather watch a streamer lose sometimes than win every match because they're facing lower skilled players every game. You're not really learning anything about the game after a while otherwise, and that leads to a fair bit of bullying from some streamers.
-
I'd love to see Elvira.
But I agree with this 😂

.....I don't get it.
Is it just to say you have something someone else doesn't have? People don't tend to like that.
You got to enjoy it for the time it was gone and pour as many points as you wanted into it, while newer players have to level them up. You already had a privilege.
-
I wanna be moried and turned into an idiot sandwich by Ramsay.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
-
Took a break, came back, watched some streamers, and never ran it because I knew from what they were all saying it was going to be nerfed. Probs not a good perk to rely on anyway in case you get too use to it after a long break. That said I think old DH & DS were way more hated.
-
I've had this issue a few times the last 3 days. As well as match disconnects and lag so bad I'm teleported backwards a good ways. There was no issue prior to the last few days.
-
Idk what's up but the last 3 days I've had a few disconnects. Was fine prior. No penalty given. However tonight it has been especially bad. Laggy matches where I'm teleported a good ways back from where I had ran. Another disconnect just now, and 1 earlier.
-
They're fun but yeah I haven't seen them very much. Def going to be more mindful of setting up turrets at vaults!
