Pig. DBD would not be the same without a snoot to boop.
Closely followed by Pyramid Head 'cause I love Silent Hill, and oh, I'd miss Ghost Face. That's the one killer that has actually scared the crap out of me multiple times, lol.
For original killers, I'd miss Legion. I like zooming around and smacking multiple people on occasion.

Ehhhh seems mostly about the same, after playing half the day yesterday. Had one nice Bubba that when I was the last survivor, we went into the event portal together, got some haunts, then they gave me the gate. Then we talked about how we were enjoying the event at end game. There was a few matches where I had the most points despite dying first, and that's because they aren't doing the event I guess. Then there was a few tunnelers and a few campers, per the usual.
I'm enjoying it anyway. Free stuff and new mechanics, yay.

I noticed when playing Witch costume Mikayla the end game screen turned the other Mikayla into one, lol. She was wearing the new green and black garb set.

David's was def the hardest! Grats on that Outbreak achievement, I still don't have it. Think I'm like 8/20, but I did take almost a 6 month break.

I agree with OP though. Yoichi's is cool, the new glowy Yun-Jin is alright, but it doesn't make me want to buy them. Fairy Claudette does though, so that's probs the only one I'm buying out of the lot. It's also why I have all of the Alice costumes, Dwight in TP, some of the legendary Silent Hill skins -- you're getting much more interesting, thought out pieces of character art. Goo and glow on premade outfits is eh.

PH cages function different than hooks and has it's own system where if PH is close to a cage for a few seconds, it teleports to a new spot. This has been in the game since one of the hotfixes during PH's chapter.
I did not remember they teleported. I am rusty, lol. Thanks for the info.

Ehhhhh no face camping yes, but plenty of proxy camping where they just chill and watch you. The moment someone runs up, they either target them or you, if you were unhooked. It's much the same imo. Idk if it was a bug or what, but Pyramid Head camped while I was in a torment cage, I poofed across the map and then died 10 seconds later, lol.
I've been gone a while though so I feel rusty and feel like I've forgotten a bit. Hard to say what's what.

Licensed: Cheryl. I still can't believe DBD got Silent Hill, because I assumed pachinko machines were all Konami would do in the future. Now we have a SH2 remake I'm pumped for. We need more classic horror game IP's!
Original: Feng. She has most of the cute outfits, and I generally choose who I'm going to play based on my mood for their outfit. I've decided if I ever get around to level 100'ing a character, it'll probs be her, 'cause the outfits just keep coming.

Mhm, in this match we all just kept picking each other up and then he'd chase the picker-upper, lol. My teammates were very altruistic, which isn't a bad thing, but between him not hooking and us picking each other up, it went on forever.

Facecamping bubba is so rare so I don't see problem and it's kinda fun. Bigger issue is huntress facecamping he can down unhooker before he can make it to the hook and they usually also go for grap. Bubba is also pretty easy to loop so you usually get good chase before he facecamps you.
Then we're at an impasse because I disagree. I'd say I see it*, once weekly? Somewhere round abouts. Where as camping Huntresses much less. And I don't find camping Bubba fun, it's boring.

I have escaped facecamping bubba lot of times in soloQ. One match bubba got me quickly and started to facecamp but my teammates noticed that and just did gens while I was almos dying on hook one came to save me and traded with bubba. I then went to finish last gen and then rest of us just left with 3 man escape. That bubba had noed as well so it's always smart to just leave after last gen gets done.
Oh I'm not denying that it does happen, I've escaped many facecamping Bubba, because you do run into them on occasion. I'm saying I've seen many matches where you get 2-3 deaths too, or even an entire wipe out. Really depends on the actions of your teammates, and usually hook trading goes on at the bare minimum. This play style isn't healthy for the game, since most do not enjoy being camped out or playing gen simulator.

Unless you're running Kindred or are playing on a team, generally at least 1 or 2 people are going to attempt a save if they're good survivors. If I see them facecamping, I'll back off and go back to a gen, but a 3 man escape isn't generally what happens.

Thank you! I still have a ton of work to do. I'm just happy to have a full roster done. Been doing this for 5 years. Crazy how long it took. I always run WGLF and BBQ. Without those, I would still only be half done on every character. It's nuts
I can imagine! I don't think I'll ever have them all P3'd even with the rework, lol. Maybe some day! And I'm gonna miss BBQ. </3

Just figured I'd throw in my 2 cents and point out this lovely match I had with a friend the other night against a Bubba.
Slugged us all repeatedly, refused to hook, and unfortunately I was the last to die. At end game chat I said, "You gotta tell me why?" and he says "fun".
So yeah I'm def in the boat of wanting less of these sorts of Bubba games. Camping being a bigger problem* obviously.

Survivors I tend to spring for cosmetics, especially if it's ones I play regularly, but there are some I play regularly because of the cosmetics. Didn't want to P3 Meg until her pig mask came out, lol.
Killers much less. I can't see them in game. I have to really like it or see some sort of advantage, like Ghost Face's original costume with the silver mask for more blendy action.

Pig -- I find her Ambush so satisfying, it's fun to do partial stealth, and if a trap goes off I'm doubly satisfied. Plus sometimes I allow boops, especially from Steve's.
Legion -- Go fast and smack things. Sometimes that's all I wanna do. I miss their old music tho, being a longtime rock lover. The new one is eh.
Sadoka -- She's so creepy. I equally love going against her because she scares me.
Pyramid Head -- I still can't believe he's even in the game. I'm a long time Silent Hill fan. His mechanics are a lot of fun.

I don't think I'd call it an exploit since it's within the rules of the game and designed that way in the same way that when I babysat them for four minutes to bleed them out for their sins wasn't an exploit either.
It's a lot rarer now with the Boil Over nerf but is absolutely still happens.
Yep. I had the same thing a week ago. After the 4th down on the same person, I just sat there and waited for them to die since I had the game basically under control.

Spirit, as well, would be a good pick because of the lore of her stories and overall themes within the Yamaoka stories. Even if she is a killer it'd be sick, especially since she's one of the more sympathetic ones and the only thing she feels is rage so you can hardly call her Rin anymore.
Also off the topic of that, Yui would be great. Not because of her lore exactly but the general themes within her character, within Cursed Legacy and again by extension the entire Yamaoka storyline.

Exactly. People are getting tunneled out for wearing pride charms. Release a character directly related to the LGBTQ from the out, and they'll get targeted too. I mean, look at what happened at Lisa's release, and that was over "principle" too, lol.

I think a general idea behind, if they did a legacy cosmetic for this would be that it'd look different, like a different color or something. So they wouldn't have the same "flex" about them if thats something thats would be important to someone with those OG legacy skins (and I know some people who have them could give a F* about flexing, and feel they get tunneled when they wear them anyway LOL)
That I wouldn't mind, like a silver or iridescent legacy version. Also agreed: I'd probably rarely wear them, but would be cool to show off to friends, lol.

I'm not 100% sure yet, but the few PTB games I played didn't feel good. We'll see after it goes live. Only thing I'm happy with atm is the prestige rework -- and not the rewards, just the system being mildly better.

I don't agree with legacy clothing because that should remain special (and I'm not that old of a player), but... I'd have preferred a charm, even. Ideally the prestige icon in game lobbies as mentioned in many threads. Just something that actually feels meaningful.

I play with a friend who streams and she's a very positive person. She* truly loves the game, and she's improving a lot. Of course I've come across the squads you're talking about, but I don't think that's most. Just people trying to prove how good they are to their audience, taking notes from some of the bigger streamers who aren't too nice themselves, and have garnered a lot of attention because of it.
....But when you do take one of those squads out, feels good man, lol.

But no, that was really kind of you. As someone who has struggled with their mental health in various ways over my life time, I can say video games have been an escape for me. But, it's what you bring to the table and make it. I've seen people be gross and negative with Stardew Valley. Probably one of the most wholesome games of all time, and yet they still managed it.

I've watched quite a few Twitch streamers over the years, some on Youtube, and heck I even had a few pop up from Facebook Gaming which I don't mess with generally. I've seen maturity and immaturity on both sides. I just make a mental note of who not to bother with once I see a lot of unwarranted negativity pop up.

Yes. Every time I decide to mess around with that perk, it doesn't feel like I get much value out of it. Better to take Circle of Healing, Empathy, or any of the aura reading perks that are dependent on hooks / injury.

Any of the killers who enjoy their job, or have reason to do what they do. Blight and Doctor both have a devotion to experiments. Plague as mentioned has a religious aspect. Pig if her allegiance is now switched to the entity rather than Jigsaw, and I guess Legion if they feel aligned to the entity. Freddy, Ghostface, and Clown are sadists. Demogorgon and Dredge seem like mindless beasts so they'd be easy to manipulate.
Survivor side, I agree with Kate, but also Meg. Probably any of the younger survivors too, since youth often equals more hope than someone older who has been through more and perhaps has more realistic expectations. David, Bill, and Tapp because they are tenacious too.

I'd say half my lobbies are PSN players. Usually 2 PC (myself included) and then 2 crossplay. I have been getting the rare Microsoft player which is nifty.
