Bhvr is not a fan of dates for some reason.
-
There's nothing anyone can do to help you. You have to listen to your parents until you're 18.
-
Imagine being so upset by getting a 3k instead of an "easy 4k" you run to the forums and write a 4 paragraph long post about it. No entitlement here, though, I promise.
-
In no way is this a competitive game. I'm not sure asymmetrical games can be.

It's a very good perk until you learn the Totem spawns.
It's still good when you know the spawns because you don't have to turn every single corner to look for them. It saves a lot of time.

I admit that is true but when I play a new killer I am usually able to secure a hook or two but that time I literally didn’t get a hook until gen 1. You can’t deny he is one of the worst killers in the game right now
That may be true but people are still able to dominate with him in red ranks. It just takes a lot longer than a single game to learn him.

Yea he was my first killer so i could get bbq chili and it was a long slow slog to 35 haven't touched him since doctor felt like heaven when i finally was done with bubba
You don't even have to play as a killer to unlock their teachables, though...
-
I don't think LF is great or anything but maybe you should learn how to play him for a few games before you rush to conclusions. This is the problem with a lot of people who complain. They have one bad game and deem a killer OP or unplayable.

They cannot really do anything about it so they do not have a choice but I will say this. Kindred does what comms can do at a price you have to be hooked. Object of obsession shows locations as well at the price of revealing team.
So why try to justify the free perk of telling each other where the killer is going when there is no downside to it? Its clearly an exploit if u can't already tell by reading the perks and how it has something to balance it out. But go ahead survivor main. Be oblivious to the fact that while the killer chases me I'm telling my team to rush gens while I stall and loop the ######### outta him/her with 0 repercussions
Killers just need to get good and they can overcome swf. It's being done all day, every day. Not everybody is good at killer, though

I didn't say that.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should... or that it's the right thing to do.
It's more trollish to call someone out as a troll for simply voicing an opinion. I'm pretty sure insulting people is against the TOS, but why go there? The rest of your comment was valid, at least.
Nah.

The exact same thing they are doing about people using Discord to take advantage of playing with their friends.

Except they've come out and said they're okay with that lol. Nice attempt at trolling, though

No they're not. They're just ending the match or delaying you. Only you (or your internet blinking out) can stop you from playing the game.
Lol
-
The game plays fine on my slim ps4. I have heard that lowering the resolution to 780p can make the game run better but I haven't needed to try it so I can't verify that
-
Are you trolling? Kind of seems like it because your argument is nonsense.
-
Dude as a solo survivor those perks are amazing. The only reason you should play without them is if you are doing specific builds or you want an extra challenge.
Kindred, Bond, Spine Chill and Iron Will is probably my favorite build. Sometimes I swap SC or IW for Open Handed.
-
Skill checks are not meant to be difficult. They are meant to force you to pay attention to what you are doing.
And anything that would be hard enough to "stop genrushing and swf" would be obnoxious.
They are shortening loops and shrinking maps. That's the route they should be taking.
-
When I play BPS I sneak around and don't work on a gen until the killer is already chasing a survivor far away from me. That way I can guarantee I get SOME value out of it. Use perks like Bond or Empathy, Urban Evasion and Spine Chill.
-
No.. no we can't.
-
Get good at finding them or use a tracking perk.
-
Good god that Dwight one is ridiculous. Why are the devs actively encouraging people to not play the game? If I'm a solo player and two or even one of my ######### teammates is trying to hide near the killer for 60 ######### seconds then gens will never get done. It baffles me that somebody thought this was a good idea and multiple other people approved it. At least the Legion player benefits from hitting multiple survivors. If a survivor hides in a ######### locker trying to be near the killer then the only person that benefits is the ######### killer.
I'm getting really tired of this game.

You can say that all you want. It doesn’t change the definition of that word, which is “make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).”
Denying reality will never change reality.
Lol ok

Generally most communities are made up of people with differing opinions that want different things.

This is a buff, not a quality of life update. Quality of life updates don't make killers stronger. Legion had zero tracking for 4 seconds and now he has the tracking that every other killer has. That's a direct buff

Partially this, but also because there's not really a single good name for them. Some people call them infinites for example, but they're not infinite, so we can't call them that. Internally, we call them different things which is fine because everyone knows what we're talking about, but we'll typically call them strong windows externally. I went ahead and updated them for clarity.
Thanks! My survivor guilt has been lifted

@ZoneDymo said:
who cares? does it make you feel bad or something getting accused of using exploits?
It appears that I and a few others care. That should be fairly obvious, don't you think?
-
But they're nerfing loops and forcing maze tiles to spawn apart, meaning you will down survivors faster. One thing at a time, please.
Let's try playing with the new changes before we say it's not enough.

I don't believe so. As far as I'm aware, it's exactly like getting hooked as the last survivor.
My points :(
But thank you for the answer lol
-
@Peanits said:
Basically when everyone is in struggle and nobody can possibly free themselves, it skips everyone straight to the sacrifice stage (much like when you hook the last survivor) so you aren't waiting around for a minute doing nothing and waiting for them to die. It won't change the actual gameplay, it'll just end the game when you can't possibly survive.
Do you still get struggle points?
-
No.
-
Yeah I hope they're not scrapping that idea.
-
Very cool, OP. While it's always difficult to draw conclusions from data from DBD because there are so many variables, one conclusion can be made: you're a badass Legion. What outfit do you wear? I use Susie's Christmas sweater
-
I would just like to point out that hitting a great skill check is nothing to brag about. And not being able to hit it doesn't mean you're a bad survivor. Actual skill is involved in things like mind games and requires game knowledge, not pressing a button at the exact right time, especially when (on ps4) the game can stutter causing you to miss things you should have hit. The new Ruin rewards killers who can regularly push and keep survivors off gens and forces survivors to make strategic choices between a. staying on a gen to finish it, b. sacrificing progression loss to save teammates, or c. spending time looking for the totem.
-
I think breakable walls are a good compromise between "god loops" and making a loop completely useless. If that new spot in Ironworks is a breakable wall you can simply break it while you're doing your first patrol of gens and not even wait for a chase.
I'm honestly sick of people saying changes are pointless when they are blatantly better than things were before. Unfortunately for you people, the devs try to strike a balance between the two sides instead of ripping the rug out from underneath one side or the other.
-
@HypnoEmpire said:
When you mention slugging, I'm just going to assume you mean downing and one-hooking everyone. The difference is that survivors are rewarded for rushing gens while the killer is punished for slugging. The killer would be lucky to get a black pip ending a game that fast and getting so few hooks. The bp earned for slugging is minimal while bp earned for gen rushing is much higher considering you can farm for more points while the gates are at 99%.
If you just do gens and "farm" a couple totems and a chest then you will not pip. May not even black pip. You need at least to get points in chases or altruism. Preferably both.
Also if survivors all "gen rush" then that means each survivor will get, at most, a gen and a half or two. That's like 1800 to 2500 BP. Add in a totem and an exit gate and you're at like 5000 bp, plus 5000 for surviving. That's a waste of my time, IMO.
Playing against a bad killer or a killer you outmatch is NOT rewarding.

I have a question to anyone claiming the experiment is still relevant today: why don't you replicate it? Prove that you're right. It should be easy if the results still matter, right?

It only makes sense that aura is denied for killer only when survivor is fully in locker
That's beside the point. Notice I didn't make any judgment about the change itself and merely informed people that it did change? That the devs aren't more transparent about changes like this is what I take issue with.
-
So was it because right as you hit Dwight he went through the exit so the game got confused and tried to connect you with the hooked survivor?
