Well, I figured I'd update here since this is where I started:
I am legitimately in the range of 85-95 games as a survivor. As you'll recall (or could go look) Tuesday was brutal curbstomping all day long ending around 40-50 missions. Yesterday, I played another 30 and by 70 matches total over 2 days, I finally had around 7 matches that all felt perfectly balanced. They were win some / lose some, but all where challenging and fun with people (survivors and killers) who seemed to know what they are doing. Today, I have literally been matched with either rank 1 or 2 killers and they actually play like it, so they are legit. We're getting matched with one - two players who might have a clue and then two others who are obviously new or intentionally downranking.
Literally one of the games I've played today I felt like all the players had an idea what was going on and we were still destroyed because the rank 1 killer (Again, skills matched the rank) obviously knew his killer inside and out. That one match might have gone okay, but the killer's player was to strong for us to get any traction.
As an aside: I understand they are hiding our true ranks so as to not encourage people to intentionally downrank, but they are doing it anyway and even suggesting others do it in pre-game chat...
My problem now is how terribly inconsistent MMR is. 5 games today have been garbage. In nearly 100 games total, I should have had more than 7 that felt balanced.
-
I am legitimately in the range of 80-90 games as a survivor and 20 games as Doctor. All day Tuesday was brutal, curbstomping. Yesterday, at around 70 games or so, I had 7 great games in a row... win some / lose some... but all were challenging and felt good. I log in today and literally every match has been against rank 1 or 2 killers who curbstomp us.
My 20ish matches with Doctor? Well, I'm green ranks (I used to play nicely and farm and whatnot so I've always been better than my rank), I destroy everyone like they're brand new. I played 6 games as Bubba (who I've prestige) and had my butt handed to me every time by expert players.
The MMR seems to have a potential for working. The problem I see is how terribly inconsistent it is. At this point, I'd prefer it simply be random chance. At leas then we can blame luck. Right now, it seems MMR is intentionally stacking the deck against us.

lmfao i'm getting more and more hate chat as i play more games under the new MMR. I'm probably a c-tier killer, but i'm not holding back anymore. I was letting ppl escape and fake chasing ppl. I'm ten games in and my games are an adrensline rush and i ######### love it....I feel challenged
I guess I need to stop screwing around and start killing again. I used to be a killer main but had to switch survivor due to long queue times. I like the 3 and 4ks but I also like to farm. When I farm I call it "Killing with Kindness," because I'm letting people go on 3rd hook and escape, etc. Really, it's because every game was either me dominating the map or me being stomped. It sounds like I might not have to worry about any of that anymore.
-
Well, I don't know what to tell ya. You can check and see I was pretty annoyed about all of this yesterday. My first few matches tonight were no different. Then, it was as if a light switch flipped. The last five games were all... pretty awesome. It was win some / lose some, but I was matched with teammates who knew what they were doing and gave an effort. We had killers who were challenging, but not abusive. I doubt it'll always be this way but considering how it started out for me yesterday, this five game streak was incredible. If the MMR system can manage to hold on to this I'll have a very different opinion.
Edit: I'd guess this was somewhere around 50-60 matches.

Every possible perk combo is a-okay to use for either survivor or killer. Have fun and enjoy your day! ๐

As far as the DLC, on the main DBD page in Steam it does not have the "in library" icon next to any of them. HOWEVER, when I click on "Browse All" every DLC shows as in my library (as it is supposed to).
I imagine this issue will be resolved ASAP and we will still have our DLC.
-
I click the Play Now button. A Steam pop-up appears very quickly saying "Updating ticket." That goes away and nothing happens. Play Now is still lit up.
Just tossing mine on the pile.

If the counter you are referring to is "do bones" then I feel genuinely sorry for you. Doing bones isn't a survivors objective. Also all the perks you listed have easy counters.
DS dont tunnel the survivor its that easy.
BT again dont tunnel off hook.
Unbreakable just slug people at the beginning of the game to waste it.
Dead hard? Seriously? You're gonna complain about this piece of ######### perk? It's extremely server heavy with how it works and you can sit and wait for a survivor to waste it
Im rank 4 survivor and rank 3 killer I don't see a problem with those perks you listed. NOED is disgusting and should be nerfed.
Well rank is supposedly meaningless, so there is that. ;)
NOED slows me down. It doesn't matter how I get the 4k. Rarely is anyone happy about it, except me.
-
If you win you're bad. If you lose you're bad. I've been trolled for actually not 3rd hooking survivors. Yes, in a match where I completely dominated the map, I let people farm and was trolled for days over it.
My advice: Either you enjoy the game or you find something else to do. There are literally thousands of other options. Play how you want and ignore chat. Living your life to please others is futile.

30 is like a single play session for me, so I guess I'll give it a few days before I judge it. Sort of taking a break though until they fix the aura thingy.
I thought not being able to see the red auras or traps was working as intended. LOL I may never play Trapper again.

Playing in Red Ranks in solo queue is never fun for me, but I'm not one of those people that will lose a match on purpose to derank myself. Every match I play as a Survivor I used to be teamed up with maybe 1 person who rage quits via disconnect or suicide on first-hook, 1 person who doesn't know how BBQ and Chili works, a few people that run to the center of the map the moment the match starts and end up dying under 30 seconds, etc.
Now I get paired with people that don't know how to hide, loop, search for totems, heal, block a hit for a team mate, etc. Minimum is 1 rage quit a game so game description should be updated to a 3 v 1 asymmetric horror game. Team mates don't know how each Killer's power works (just had a match where 2 people died to The Pig's reverse bear trap because they didn't know what it did or how to take off the headset.)
On the other hand, almost all Killers I've played against ONLY tunnel and face camp. Normally you could punish the face-camping Killer by having everyone do gens and leave (keeping casualties to a minimum), now EVERYONE tries to go in for the save (90% of the time runs in front of the Killer and expects nothing to happen).
So until this is F-I-X-E-D, I'm running my "You have to do everything because your team is garbage" loadout.
-Inner Strength (because team mates won't check for HEX:Ruin at the start of the match by tapping a generator, team mates won't break totems, and team mates won't heal me)
-Babysitter (*very fitting perk name* self-explanatory)
-Spine Chill (Know when Killer is coming and promptly hide BEFORE the Killer gets to the gen *pro tip that not a lot of people understand: if the Killer can't find you, you won't die*)
-Resilience (After taking a hit and losing the Killer, use the 9% bonus on gens because I'm the only one working on the objective).
Edit: never mind. I forgot I'm not welcome around these parts.
GLHF... sometimes that's all you can do.

....I haven't even played yet and all of these threads are worrying. Whoo boy.
I'm starting to think it's only bad for the first 40 games or so. For me, it was 30 before there was a difference. By the mid-30s it was win some/lose some. By game 40, which was my last, it honestly felt like like they made no change at all. The only difference for me at this point is the queues for survivor at night (CST USA) were quicker.
I'm only curious now to see how quick I'll queue as killer during the day (which is historically 10-15 minutes for me).

Game starts, I get on a gen. Entire team is slugged within the first ~40 seconds of the game. I let them all die on first hook, hatch out, the end.
The first 4 games were similar, killers with thousands of hours getting paired up with rank 13 slippery meat megs. Game is actually atrocious to play as a survivor currently.
I must admit, the description of this match made me laugh out loud... literally. The alcohol helped, but thanks for the anecdote.

I'm pretty tipsy so i'm going to make mistakes, but i'm not gonna hold back like i have been to see if i can find my place in the new match making...
Honestly, drinking is about the only thing that saved my night. Once I hit tipsy, MMR became funny. This is not meaningless. I DGAF what they say... match 32:
not meaningless.jpgWe were destroyed. Edit: and yes, I had perks. Just another bug that they didn't show up.
Edit 2: I think 30 was the magic number because match 33 was better. We stomped the killer, but I was matched with experienced players again.
Edit 3: You're right. It doesn't matter
nope doesnt matter.jpgThis one was hilarious. So I was hooked and the other three were slugged within the first 60 seconds. Then, one DCed and I died on hook. Then Bubba let someone wiggle free and heal the other person. Then Bubba complained about the one guy DCing. LOL At least I found a way to make it fun. Sadly, I can't get drunk every time I play.
-
31 matches before I had one that felt close to balanced. Every one was red except me. I'm still green. Ranks don't have to matter but this was literally the first game where people worked together and acted like they had a clue... 31 games. Now that I actually won one, I'll update and let you know if it takes 31 games to happen again.

How dare people play online games with friends while performing the most basic social interaction of all, which is having a conversation.
There are literally perks in the game that 3rd party applications render irrelevant, freeing up the players to choose other options making the game much easier overall.
I know it's true because I also do it. But by all means, continue to feign ignorance if that's working for ya.

Meta means that it's the best in the game and everyone uses it. It wouldn't be otherwise. I do agree though, but currently there is no incentive to use other perks or theyre just garbage and useless. It's the reason killers run BBQ over Monsterous Shrine and why Survivors use DS over Deja Vu.
Yeah... I'll stop using BBQ as soon as I no longer need bloodpoints. I can usually guess where the other survivors are without it.

Yeah sorry about that. Someone commented a better suggestion that remedies these kinds of situations. What do you think of the updated version?
I'm far less opposed to it now, to be honest. As a survivor, I hate being face camped and that seems to be the real target of this idea. 16 meters still allows for proximity camping which can be situational and fair.
By proximity camping, I'm just referring to line of sight. Sometimes if I know there is a survivor nearby but I don't know where, I circle the hook, spiraling out trying to spot the other survivor. It depends on the map, of course. The point is that I don't stand near the survivor, even while proximity camping. I'm constantly moving, trying to find anyone nearby. Even then, it's very rare as I usually just hook them and run off to disrupt generator repair elsewhere. The only real exception to this for me is if they happen to unhook the survivor too soon and I know I can make it back before their scratches vanish or if I can actually see them.
With a short range, this kind of penalty is an easy sell on me anyway. I tend to prefer farming with the survivors and my best matches have ended with everyone getting 20k points or more. I actually have a presentation I'm preparing on that subject, but that's beside the point. In other words, I would never intentionally face camp.
I rescind my earlier objection or insistence for some sort of notification because, really, any change like this could sting when first implemented. We would get used to it after awhile and, dare I say, adapt. I'd just hate to see it create an unreasonable "safety bubble" around the hooked survivor for safe unhooking.
My only other concern at this point is a situation where the last survivors are hooked and then you get a toxic player who will just stand there and hold the ending hostage by intentionally making the hook count down at 50% with no chance of being unhooked by someone else (even without the EGC). I don't know if that was addressed, but I guess if everyone alive was hooked and on stage 2, the timer penalty would be void. OR, perhaps people abusing this system to draw out hook time to gain more bloodpoints than they should for struggling. Though, I suppose a limit on the possible struggle points would solve that. Well... that's that, then.
By the way... I can't do this privately so I'll just ask you to accept my apology for my part of our earlier disagreement. The other discussion got under my skin a bit more than I'd usually allow (even moreso than the actual act we were discussing which, at this point, makes me laugh) and I honestly did not realize you were the originator of this post. In hindsight, I can understand both of our reactions and mine was certainly inappropriate.

"if the killer is within 16 meters of the hooked Survivor, and isn't in a chase (aka nobody is rushing the hook or they'd be in chase), the timer goes down 50% slower. Can't be abused by survivors or killers." suggested by @CheersTC
So that would essentially be line of sight then, right? I mean, they could just be hiding behind a rock sitting behind a rock or some other obstruction. We could suspect the same, be wrong, and still be penalized without knowing it.
Sorry, it was 40-something meters originally. I missed the edit.
-
I suppose I think this would be okay if the killer could always know if a survivor is nearby. I don't face camp so it wouldn't really affect me, but I do proximity camp on rare occasion. Unless I'm running Whispers or happen to see scratch marks, I really don't know for sure if there is another survivor nearby. If neither of these are true and I just happen to suspect another survivor is nearby, it's probable I'm going to be penalized without even knowing it. That hardly seems fair.
Under these circumstances, how am I supposed to know if I am being penalized when no survivors are within range? I suppose there must be some sort of notification. If there is a notification, then this discussion could make sense. Although, it would obviously be abusable because killers could know a survivor is nearby without using the perk specifically designed for that purpose. In fact, it could be abused by both sides... especially once the survivors know what the range looks like in-game. They could just easily crouch right outside of range, forcing the killer back out of fear of being penalized. This seems counter to the concept of ruthless killers trying to kill scared survivors who are desperately trying to escape. Also, with a notification, they could pop in and out of range to create notification spam. SWFs could surround the radius with two survivors trying to keep the killer bouncing back and forth without really knowing where they are (unless the notification revealed their auras) while the last survivor just finished gens unhampered. The alternative is the killer runs off to go find the last survivor while leaving two to three survivors free to rescue and heal each other and possibly cap another generator because, let's face it, the last survivor could be just about anywhere...
Like I suggested earlier, it might be easier just to replace the opposition with bots.
Edited... for clarity.

Easy fix. Make survivors first person view.
I'm not saying they should. I'm just saying it can be fixed.
Seriously though, how is "stretching the screen" pushing more information to the monitor than the game is actually coded to do? Isn't the FOV a set percentage? I guess I don't understand how this works. I thought the amount of information that appears on the monitor is hardcoded by the developers. All this should do is make the already provided information larger or smaller... right?
-
I agree. There also should be severe penalties for gen rushing. For 2/3rds of the day, my wait as a killer can be 10-20 minutes. My wait is longer than yours. I demand stronger penalties for rushing the match. Rar!
-
You could just replace the killer with a bot for survivors and replace the survivors with bots for the killer.
Boom! 90% of the "toxicity" problems solved. Well, most of the fun too, but eh... who cares about fun?
Next...

I'll have to research this. I must rely on line of sight too much as a killer. Or, maybe I don't play stealth killers enough.
Thanks for the insight.

I main killer and I groan on every inside map.
The irony of calling them killer-sided... or maybe I just don't know any better. With all the tight turns and tons of nooks and crannies to hide in or crouch behind... they're a pain in the butt to hunt in.

Except that is not whats going on in this game. People are bouncing up and down. 99.99999% of the time there's nobody underneath them. Short of certain moris survivrs die face down so even a dc'd body can't technically be teabagged since the mouth is in the ground.
This is just a really silly conversion in my opinion. Quick crouching is neither fair or unfair. Can it be annoying? Yes. Does it skew the results of a game in any direction? Not really. It triggers some people. It used to bother me but i got over it pretty quickly.
It was the dumbest question I've seen on a survey in a very long time.
You can say whatever you want. It's clear most people view the action as teabagging. I described teabagging. No more, no less. Everything else is senseless justification.
If you do not view repeatedly crouching as teabagging, then good for you. Know that when you do it most people will think that is what you are doing. They will believe that is who you are.
If I repeatedly crouch in game at certain times, I don't intend it to be teabagging. I know others will interpret it that way. Therefore I choose not to do it. Just as if I hook someone and then hit them I do not intend for it to be an insult, but I know others will take it that way. Both actions are unnecessary and have nothing to do with winning the match, so it's no problem for me to choose not to do them.
As I'm fond of saying, you cannot control other people, but you can control yourself. Or not. The choice is yours.
As for me, I have no problem with truth and the truth teabagging an unwilling participant in real life is sexual assault and those who simulate teabagging in a video game are simulating sexual assault. It's as simple as that.
You don't have to like the truth, but that doesn't make it any less true.

Simulated sexual assault? Jesus christ you people are reaching. Its pixels in a game. Some people like to bounce like chickens, and some teabag from the old ass days of Halo. It's not remotely a sexual thing anymore.
The people who need help are the ones who let peoples actions, INSIDE A GAME, THAT DOES NOT AFFECT THE GAME AT ALL, affect them to the point of being upset outside of the game. Regulate your emotions. Talk to a therapist if you need to. But dont blame "teabagging" for why you're upset. It's a ######### video game. Grow up.
Right. Shoving genitals into someone's unwilling mouth isn't sexual asaault...
Look. I don't care that people pretend to do it in a video game. I'm grown enough to not let stupidity bother me. But at least be honest about it. Pretending it's anything else is is unworthy of discussion.
I apologize if my truth kicked you in your safe space.
Have a pleasant day.
-
If everyone would just start calling it simulated sexual assault, we could at least be honest about it.
In reality though, as I've said countless times... this community is what we make of it. You cannot control other people, but you can control yourself.
You should stop giving others so much power over you. They can't take what you don't give them.

T-bagging is a douche move. Should it be reportable? I don't know....
Touchy subject.
I'd like to reply, but I need to preface with the fact I couldn't care less about someone squatting repeatedly. I find these conversations fascinating to some degree. Heck, the player could have a twitch in their pinky finger for all I know. I only learned it was supposed to be teabagging after so many people "made it so" on the forums. The fact is, simulated sexual assault just isn't funny, cool, or particularly insulting. I'd wager far more people have been sexually assaulted in the world than have been hacked up or tossed onto a meat hook. To me, that should factor in as a consideration somewhere. Still, it shouldn't be reportable. I crouch a couple of times as a quick "thank you" to other survivors when they heal me or whatnot. Since I have no friends that is really the only way I have to communicate.
But...
@Demicaster said:
Personally I think t-bagging started as something to be toxic but now I feel like people just only label it as that no matter what. I am mainly a suvivor main who makes it to 1-4 usually. I do in others terms "t-bag" but I do it for a different reason. I usually use it as a way to draw the killer towards me some killers will leave you to go after an easier target or to tunnel someone who just got unhooked. I dont mean for it to be toxic but everyone associated it so it cant be helped at this point. Theres so many more things that are purely toxic.
I also agree with this. After all, I don't think it's toxic at all to hit someone after hooking them. I use it as more of a "Hah! I got you" after a long or annoying chase than trying to be a jerk. But, then again, I don't tunnel or face camp. I'm sure if I did, that would make a difference. Once I learned it was considered toxic behavior, I stopped doing it though. In the real world I refrain from casual profanity even though it doesn't particularly bother me because... well, it's the least I can do to promote a better existence for some folks so... why not?
It's funny... I actually thought someone hitting me with a flashlight after dropping a pallet was trolling until I realized you get points for hitting with the flashlight. Plus, I can clear the pallet while my vision clears so it doesn't hurt me in any way.
As with most things in life, it is what we make it. I've decided I couldn't care less if someone wants to show me the kind of person they are in real life. I won't likely have to deal with them again beyond the confines of the match so, really... I choose to not let it bother me. I believe if more people made that particular choice the community would be perceived as much less toxic.
@AsePlayer said:
Seek a therapist, not a t-bagging nerf.
Your name is apt, but let's be real. Survivors need to be able to crouch, so a teabagging nerf is not the brightest suggestion. I would wager, however, that anyone who needs to stimulate themselves through simulated sexual assault are the ones in need of therapy, not those bothered by it. Though, those who allow themselves to be bothered by it ought to find some perspective and stop giving others so much power over them.

So one is actual physical assault on your character and one is mocking sexual assault in front of your character...do you really want to argue the semantics of which is worse...in a video game? LUL get outta here.
Well, the game is specifically designed around the concept of simulated physical assault. In fact, physical assault is the premise. Just by playing the game you can expect to have simulated violence inflicted upon your character. The same cannot be said for sexual assault, simulated or otherwise. The two are hardly comparable.
FYI, It's not actual physical assault since the violence doesn't take place outside of this virtual world. Also, sexual assault isn't particularly funny, nor is it worthy of being mocked.
Enjoy your day.

Those things aren't apples for apples, bud. T-bagging is not a viable game strat. Just like hitting people on hooks, head nodding/twirling at or on hooked survivors, stutter-following slugged survivors, and KILLER teabagging is not a viable game strat...but they fail to mention ANYTHING about killers in that regard and ONLY address survivor behavior. THIS IS BIAS.
Just out of curiosity...
How is hitting someone one time after hooking them the equivalent of mock sexual assault?
-
You can't control other people, but you can control yourself.
Why would you give others the power to control you or how you feel. I couldn't care less what these people do or say when they go on tilt. I'll reply with GG... maybe a <3 if I'm feeling frisky... and move on to the next match.
Although, I do admit there was one time when someone crouched a lot and I knew what he meant. So... I wiped their whole team. That was satisfying, but sadly I punished the entire team for that one person's actions. I even reminded his team to thank him because I only wiped the team thanks to the teabagging. I immediately realized the rest of the team already left and it was just the douche bag left making excuses for why he died. So, the result was most likely that the other survivors who had nothing to do with the excessive crouching had their game ruined and probably just thought I was just another toxic player. I allowed my being annoyed to ruin the fun of other people which, in turn, probably created more long lasting "bad vibes," for the community. That was the last time I decided to give a damned about the immature idiocy of childish behavior.
You can control your actions, your thoughts and your mood. I'm of the mind if you relinquish power of your emotions to other people, that's your own fault.

Yeah bbq & chili I see always pops up in forums and vids but since I keep hearing he isn't the greatest of killers I thought I'd just hold off till later before I bought him. The Dr is definitely my main for now, I feel pretty confident playing him and I agree he's a go to for farming BP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed bbq will come up to buy with shards but I've heard too that it's pretty rare. I ended up just buying the Pig and the Nightmare because I really couldn't make my mind up lol I've only had about 6 games with the Pig and I think 3 with Freddy and I won't lie, I'm finding Freddy hellishly difficult to get the hang of lol the Pig I'm doing alright with despite it being very early days playing with her, I feel comfortable but Freddy I think will take a bit of time to be used to although once I am I can see him being a worthwhile killer. Unfortunately my partner is working nightshifts atm and my xbox is in the bedroom so I can't play till she's at work ๐ thanks for the help!
You're welcome!
I don't know if this will help, but the way I've learned Freddy was like this: I focused on becoming used to one mechanic at a time.
I focused on practicing his teleport power first. I would manually patrol gens on one side of the map until recharge, port to the other and manually patrol until it recharged again. I found Whispers to be very helpful while getting used to how his teleport works.
I ignored snares at first because they take a little more thought and instead used the dream pallet addons. The trick here is learning to try keeping survivors asleep or, at least, watching their sleep timers and adjusting for who you are chasing. I was able to place dream pallets quicker than snares and only top tier players seemed to know which was which.
Then, I got into using the dream snares, which I am still learning to use effectively. They take a little longer to prepare and the trick here, as far as I can tell, is anticipating the loop and dropping it when the survivor isn't looking. I think this just takes practice.
I found trying to learn all of his moves cumbersome, so breaking them down into easier to digest pieces made learning him easier for me.
Pig is fun also. I forgot about her. Believe it or not, I have a harder time lining up her ambush and figuring out at what points I am hidden since I can always see myself.

You literally just described the life cycle of most competitive online games.
I just play the way I want. When the developers make changes, I adapt. When the game is no longer fun for me, I move on.
No game lasts forever.

I don't know. I play killer because I prefer the role better.
I unlocked We're Gonna Live Forever from David King, which is the survivor version of BBQ and Chili. I didn't even have to buy David King. I had to spend extra money for Leatherface to get BBQ and Chili. When I do well with a killer (which is only about half the time) I end up with a score of around 20k. When I do well with survivor (a little less than half of the time) I usually end up with 15-20k. This isn't scientific, but it is what I see. So no... I don't know what to tell ya.
When I play killer, I usually don't go "all out" and everyone who doesn't quit or DC tends to get decent points. When I do go "all out" the survivors tend to try harder and we all end up with fewer points. I have no friends (it should be obvious why) so I tend to play survivor solo. That might make a difference. But I feel I play logical. If someone gets hooked nearby and I can unhook them, I will. Otherwise, I consistently work on generators and try to maximize chases, evades, and boldness when I'm seen.
Also, for 2/3rds of the day, I get survivor matches with minimal wait time. During the same 2/3rd period of the day, it can take 10-15 minutes for a match for killer. So, for the same hour of play time, I might get 2-3 matches as a killer getting maybe 6-20k points if my luck doesn't suck while as a survivor, I might get 5-6 matches where I get 6-20k per match. for 2/3rds of the day for the same hour spent, I expect to get 12k-60k as a killer or more likely 36k-120k as a survivor.
As an aside, that other 1/3rd of the day I get killer matches back to back and have, usually, a 5 minute wait for survivor. The thing is, if you have a bad match as a survivor and only end up with 6k, you can immediately hop into another match. With Killer, you have to wait until everyone dies or escapes. Killer matches tend to last longer, even when it's a bad match. My goal as a survivor is to end the match as quickly as possible so I can go on to the next one.

FYI: DbD mobile sucks because my controller is my screen and I can't see the screen with my man-hands in the way.
That having been said... I can't imagine having 2 killers is on purpose. I main killer and I would wouldn't want a partner. It doesn't make sense with the lore or the inspiration for this game.
Also, of course it's OP. You're just standing there taking screenshots. Everyone will seem OP if you're just standing there taking screenshots. ๐
What they need to consider is a "just for fun" battle royale mode. I could see multiple killers on purpose in that scenario and I would play it. I'd probably give them more money too because that would be different and interesting. I'm going to go suggest it. Thanks for the inspiration.

I picked up Leatherface first because, after doing my pre-game research, I learned about bbq and chili. I'm a lifelong horror fan, so I didn't regret buying him. He's not the easiest killer to score big wins with, but they did a great job developing his "feel." He feels authentic to me when I play him. Still, I only got him initially for BBQ and I only recommend him in the long term if you can truly appreciate the movie character.
Now, the Doc is definitely my go-to for farming BP and with r3 BBQ, I'd have to have the worst imaginable match to not score some decent BPs. You already have Doc (great choice, btw... I play him most and actually bought cosmetics for him). Eventually you'll be able to get BBQ for shards (though I have heard it's extremely rare) so if you feel like Doc is keeping up without it, skip Bubba.
When I get serious (or even just for fun), I love the Nightmare. He has solid map control and is incredibly fun to play. I don't try to go all OP with him and I didn't have him before his rework. When I'm not farming, he is my main killer. It would also be fair to say I was a big Freddy fan since '84, when I was 12... so I'm probably biased in telling you I love his aesthetic appeal (even though he is based off the 2010 remake). His dream snares help break loops, his illusionary pallets are a blast when survivors think they're safe and just... the whole dream/awake system feels really well done and is immersive for a fan of the franchise. Also, if you don't stack him to be OP (forever Freddy they call it), he's not impossible to beat by lower ranks which keeps it interesting. There are no cosmetics for Freddy, though (except the bloody prestige pieces) so if cosmetics are your thing, keep that in mind. Also, Quinton is among the weakest survivors. Still, for me, the Nightmare is worth the price of admission.

Yeah, ingame Comms with such a wholesome Community. What should go wrong?
Cannot wait for being called things in Russian, Italian and German because I did not run the Killer around for 15 Gens.
What difference does that make? I still get cursed out in multiple languages. The only difference is, I get to run it all through Google translate as it is now. LOL
I feel you, though.
