Let me guess, you wrote this post after watching Scott's last video.
No this is an opinion I've shared for a long time. I'm a killer main I genuinely dont care if survivors find something unfun but they won't stay if they aren't having fun. Blight is good and with the changes coming especially to his collision he will be good. You can watch oh tofus use of him to see how he makes him extremely effective.

I dont think so,
i think killers dont need a buff at all, if they do get one, it will be way less fun/rewarding to play survivor (im a survivor main)
I really hate playing against doctor, a good nurse or deathslinger, becouse you just cant really be in a chase with them, wich is such a big part of the game.
I dont think a tiny chat system is a good idea, but i do like the sound of a voice chat system for survivors.
If killers dont get a buff with the voice chat system it'll be like playing dead by daylight with swfs all the time and all the killers will quit.

I hope you know that spirit came out 2 years ago right? Doctor and freddy are even older and up to 3 years in the game. How are these killers new?
Their reworks were around the same time as spirit.

Meaning he is an incredibly weak killer with a garbage power and will be easy to bully. From what I've seen, he is going to dethrone clown as the laughing stock of DBD.
He may not be God tier but he is still extremely important with inviting fun back into playing against killers.

He isn't unique, though. He's just Hillbilly with extra steps.
How is he hillbilly? He doesn't have a 1 shot down. He's got better maneuverability. He has a completely different speed. He also doesn't have an overheat. Maybe a comparison to Legion would have been better but even then it still boils down to they both run.

How often do you hit cross map shots?
Demo is in my opinion, bottom 3 killer.
Billy really isn't. If the survivor knows how to dodge he's a m1 killer
Right but my point is that if a killer is good, they're unfun to go against. You only see people complain about her post nerf if they go against a god one
So you're comparing killers off of the worst players play them? I dont think thats an accurate comparison.
-
@Rivyn said:
The killers you listed are unfun because. . . what, they break the stale looping structure? The new killer can be looped for years, seeing as his power can't be used at loops. That makes him fun?
What makes him fun is bouncing around and his uniqueness. The killers i listed also are unfun because they remove a survivors ability to loop and turns the game into a guessing game which isn't fun.

I agree with what you think about pyramid head but I meant that the blight is transformative because he fun to play and to play against unlike pyramid head.

Demo is weak, billy is easily bullied, huntress has no map pressure, 90% of nurses are trash. The only one you have a case for is oni
Huntress has long ranged snipes for map pressure, Demo isn't bad hes just compared to op killers, and billy is super good if you can flick? You can't say nurse is bad when people play her bad literally that could apply to anyone.
-
@immortalls96 said:
So it's only important because he looks weak right now..gotcha
Thats not at all what I established. The nurse is amazing and fun to play against same thing with hillbilly. He's great for the game cause it shows them finally creating good and fun killers again. He is clunky but playing on the ptb has showed me he is good.
-
@InsaneNurseMain said:
Funny how if a killer is good, they're 'unfun'. But if a killer is bad they're 'fun to play against'. Yeah he's fun to play against because he's trash
He actually isn't too bad and you can do consistently good with him he's around B tier cause he's got great map pressure and with BBQ he can quickly change targets. Nurse is extremely good and fun to play against so i don't think you've got a valid point same thing with Billy.

Except this era better be more balanced for killers even though I loved playing then I've realised killers cant be left in th dark this time both sides should get their fun.
The only balance problem left is the strength of SWFs. I think killers should get an overall buff while survivors get a tiny chat system to ping things they are doing and where. That way the game is balanced towards SWF.
-
@azame said:
Yeah I agree but freddy and doc actually arent that bad freddy needs tweaks to his spam snares and lunge and doc needs tweaks to spam shock. Other than that what you said is true. The blight is finally a break from braindead uncounterable killers.
Exactly! I hope this is a new era for dbd with fun killers again just like 2017 and 2018 were like.

Deathslinger above Legion as usual. I don't get it.
the explanation is simple. Deathslinger has more to offer in the chase rather than map control like legion. The killer current meta is how fast you can end a chase not map control. Though legion can be strong in the right hands deathslingers range and ability to ignore pallets and loops gives him the superior edge.

So I am a noob when it comes to autodidact. I do like the perk but I have a question. Let's say you finally reach 5 tokens after healing teammates. Then the next time you go to heal someone and hit a skill check will you still get that sweet percentage buff towards progression or will it just revert to normal healing progression?
The answer will make or break it from my healer perk build.
It'll heal them 50% of their current bar.

Overall nice job! I like the tier list and think its the most accurate representation of killers. I still think Hag is S tier cause her traps literally do teleport her without a stun like nurse. Nurse is top of S tier because she can avoid loops while spirit is next because of mind game potential. Freddy is bottom of S tier with the worst teleport ability. Overall though I honestly agree with this list.

Autodidact got my team of randoms killed...... I was doing the adept and thanks to skill checks not appearing and the killer being close to us, when I was about to finish healing I got the -% making the killer down my teammate and then I got down because of traps.
I approve of this slight buff but wouldn't this perk be too similar to self care but stronger?
It would be a more of a different option it requiring a token and selfcare not and self care improving med kits while this one activily discourages the use of it.

Well she'd only have 1 hatchet at that time so it wouldn't be too bad.

I think that instead of iridescent heads for hatchets there should be an addon who makes that she don't sings her lullaby.
I wanted to know what you all would think about this.
(And sorry for my bad English, I'm french :) )
That would be a super cool iridescent add-on. They are trying to give every killer 2 iridescents so this would be amazing to see in game.

I don't know what kind of games you are getting, but in red ranks D Strike is meta.
I play at red rank on both survivor and killer. Maybe it has to do with my region (Mountain Time) or my platform (xbox) that I notice a lack of DS.

Yes yes I get it, everyone is red rank killer on these forums.
In before a screenshot that actually prove nothing. Want to prove something? Stream high level killer gameplay.
Again, nothing wrong with "do bones". Do not gen rush, simple. If gen rush doesn't exist, then camping, tunneling, et cetra. all don't exist too.
A red rank killer that does not know what counters there are to NOED other than "do bones", riiiiiiiiiiiight.
There's no point in arguing with you here. You dont want to see the invalidity of your statements. Yes you can h i d e against NOED. Do you even understand how boring that is to play against if the killer has more than -1 brain cell.

Like I said someone posted one here and no, I am not going to educate any survivor-main. Play killer and you will find the so-many counters that decent survivors with a _brain_ actually utilize.
What's wrong with "do bones"? You mean you want to gen rush and not allow killer to counter it? Oh okay... Now we all get the root problem of NOED complaints.
Again I'm a rank 3 killer. I play more killer than survivor. NOED isn't okay. Its unfair and annoying. You just used the do bones argument again while also complaining about gen rush. Gen rush doesn't exist. There is a surprising thing called pressure. You get this from patrolling gens, slugging, hooking survivors far away from gens, and bringing corrupt intervention. Please educate yourself on how to play the game before you complain like this.
-

I am not gonna bother educate you on how to counter NOED. There are many counters and even one poster posted one in this very same thread.
It has way too many counters, I play survivor too, you know? When I want to stress-relief.
Ah yes tell me the counters other than "dO bOnEs".

So you use 2 broken perks in conjunction. You say that good killers can counter DS. I suppose I'm glad you don't run UB as well.
Which two broken perks are you talking about?
-
@PerkyPerky said:
However,
It's okay for survivors to use DS, BT, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, and many more second chance perks.
Let's shame killers for using a perk that actually has so many counters!
If the counter you are referring to is "do bones" then I feel genuinely sorry for you. Doing bones isn't a survivors objective. Also all the perks you listed have easy counters.
DS dont tunnel the survivor its that easy.
BT again dont tunnel off hook.
Unbreakable just slug people at the beginning of the game to waste it.
Dead hard? Seriously? You're gonna complain about this piece of ######### perk? It's extremely server heavy with how it works and you can sit and wait for a survivor to waste it
Im rank 4 survivor and rank 3 killer I don't see a problem with those perks you listed. NOED is disgusting and should be nerfed.

Clown main here, and sorry, but nope.
He’s fine. He only needs small tweaks to his current base kit. Otherwise his add ons and perks are solid.
It comes down to viability. Clown can be good but he's not good. Just like how pre-rework freddy was good when he wasn't. He needs to be buffed and he is always put in F tier on tier lists.
-
@Zaitsev said:

I do like the idea of Clown somehow buffing himself with his gas. Thats actually pretty original. Maybe he could inhale the contents of one bottle and give himself a temporary speed buff?
That Would be very cool like a temporary speed boost after he inhales a bottle. That was he cant abuse it at a loop but can use it to travers the map easier.

Oni needs an M1 or two before he can use his power. Good survivors won't let you hit them for free and it can take a long time to secure a first hit against a good team if you don't have monitor and abuse.
Myers can snowball hard but also has the worst early game in DBD. All it takes is the first survivor or two you run into having spine chill and being nearby a jungle gym and you can lose multiple gens for your first tier 3 if you had to fight to even get out of tier 1. Split up survivors will mean even with infectious fright your tier 3's only result in a single down sometimes.
Ghostface comes out the gate 115 with no heartbeat and the ability to instadown survivors right off the bat. He is only ever 2.5 seconds away.
Sure it can be hard to play him, but his difficulty is listed as "hard".
Reasonable

His marking is super strong. You just need to have the game knowledge to know how to approach gens and you will be rewarded with some of the fastest and easiest downs available in the game. If you fail at it, you are a weaker wraith. I think it's a good trade-off.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UauWeP0WoJY&t=7m10s
What other killer can do that?
Well Myers and Oni can do that and playing at red ranks is extremely hard with him.

Yes but if you get pulled out of nightshroud then it doesn't work.

It should not be required to bring a perk every single game, there is a reason that they changed ruin, because it was used in 80% of games. And there was a reason for that. Just switching that out for using corrupt every game is terrible design and highlights a problem.
Explain to me how he is supposed to "apply pressure" i'm tired of the jUsT pReSsUrE gEnS fOrEhEaD argument. You can't pressure 7 gens against 4 survivors who all spawn on 4 different gens. It's not possible.
All of the players you mentioned actually say the opposite whenever i watch them play. Hell, scott even brought up that something needs to be done and came up with the whole "early game warmup" idea to begin with, so obviously he doesn't think it's fine that early game doesn't exist, or he wouldn't suggest they fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVnWIe-5Lcs
Eh complain about it ig the game isn't balanced around 4ks every match the devs even said that.
-
@MojoTheFabulous said:
The only idea here that I like is reducing his power cooldown. Your idea to change marking being the worst idea as making it take longer to stalk people is bad and much worse when you reduce the timer to 15 seconds that starts with a chase because all it takes is a pallet loop or 2 and that's it, you've spent a longer time stalking for no reward.
Okay So the mark timer right now for ghost face is 15 seconds. In my rework they stay permanently marked until in a chase. This makes you actually want to use nightshroud to sneak up onto people for the instant down. The longer stalk is also used to balance out how strong the insta down staying on a survivor till chase is.
-
@ Antares2332 said:
A question.
Do you think that if survivors did not know they are exposed, GF would be op?
Well ghost face really isn't in a good spot in the meta. His power needs a buff. Make it so it refreshes in 20 or 18 seconds instead of 30 and have it so he stalks faster and that only shows youre exposed if youre in chase. Right now if you stalk a survivor fully they know you've seen them so I think it should only show a survivor if they're in chase.
-
@Zaitsev said:
Title.
i play survivor and killer almost equally killer rank 4 and survivor rank 6. Out of my experience with it I'd say pig 100% is the friendliest. I've had pigs destroy my team and then give us the hatch or let us escape.

@Reinami said:

Requiring a specific perk or killer to play is not balanced. There is a reason ruin was used in 80% of games, the fact that i was basically required was stupid and everyone knows that. Now i'm not saying that you should balance the game around no perks or addons, or that every perk should be viable. But i shouldn't have to run pop/BBQ/Corrupt on every killer.
Also, please rewatch that first few minutes and tell me what "slowdown" perk would have done anything in that case? Maybe if he ran corrupt he only would have lost 2 gens and 1 almost done, but the point still stands that he completed 8% of his objective, while survivors completed 60% of theirs.
Well for starters the survivors spawn usually next to gens. True could have brought corrput intervention so no gens would have been worked on that fast. Then once he found them he could've used ruin to start regressing them. Gens are perfectly fine. True applied zero pressure to the other survivors to force them off of gens. What do you want them to do? Sit there and no do the objective 😑. Honestly true, zubat, and Scott jund all say gens are fine but you still link clips to complain about YOUR problem with them not theirs.

You dont understand the point. I main her for 3 years and I also 4k every single game. She is still the strongest killer in the game. Its not the point that she is too weak she totally isnt. Our point is that she has so many bugs and her current add-ons are completely dogshit. Its totally not fun to play her anymore. You can fix the bugs and make fun to play add-ons without making her too OP easily.
Man then state that as your point instead of emphasizing on how annoying deadhard is. Also her add ons are fine and name the bugs youre so talking about? Also they want to give nurse back her infinite blinks which is just dumb. Some of you nurse mains play this game on easy mode and still complain.

I was watching a streamer playing dbd. It ended well, with a 4k but... 4 gens were done in 2 minutes and 21 seconds. Yes, 2 minutes and 21 seconds. Decisive lasts 1 minute and they had 3 or 4 of it, then add chase time, hook time and all these things.
Luckily they stopped doing gens for some reason and that led to a 4k, but imagine if they didn't.
Please consider a ds nerf or secondary objectives for survivors.
Dude please never talk about streamers. They're there to make content not to hyper focus. Play the game and actually experience it. They still got a 4k probably cause they increased pressure. Gens are fine just get better or play a really good killer for newbies that applies a lot of pressure like The Legion.
-
They penalize hook camping because its extrodanairaly unfun for the survivor being camped. He/she has to spam the struggle button for 60 seconds and before that they have to sit on hook for 60 seconds.
-
@ACTIV3_GNASHER said:
You absolutely have to balance for the top 1% otherwise the gap is bigger at the top 1% the lesser players can always improve but you cannot overcome an advantage set in place by the game being balanced towards rank 20’s
Im listening could you elaborate on that?
-
I'm not trying to sound rude at all but maybe you aren't as good as her as you think. I have a friend who plays nurse at red ranks and 4ks every game. She's just a lot harder to play but dead hard is so easy to avoid on her. Just blink behind them then blink again and hit them. She's still S tier and will remain that way because of her unique playstyle of avoid loops completely.
