For the love of God. "It's only game. Why you have to be mad?" Seriously, why does the game have to be survivor or killer sided? Learn from your losses and celebrate your wins. If you are frustrated, put the game down for a bit and come back to it later. Going into the game with a negative mindset is what kills you, not the killer (or if you play killer, the survivors escaping is not the problem). It's ok to lose.

Also, as someone who plays survivor and killer, I have to disagree with you on some things. When I play killer, as long as the match is good (breaking pallets, gens, hooks, hits, etc.) I usually let the last survivor escape and still end up with 24k bloodpoints at LEAST. Most of the time it's survivors that ruin the game by killing themselves on the hook when they realize they're losing. At which point, I need to make up for those lost bloodpoints and kill the rest of the team.

I understand that I'm not representative of all killers but it's unfair of you to say that all killers are bloodthirsty for a 4k. I'm not unless I'm against a particularly toxic SWF. I just want to enjoy the game and bloodpoints aren't free.

I also don't agree with you when you say that the devs favour the killers and their "4k fantasies". Remember when nurse used to be able to blink 7 times? They listened to the survivors and nerfed her to hell. Why do you think DS became a perk? They listened to the survivors when they asked for a counter to tunnelling. My point is that the devs listen to survivors just as much as they listen to killers. They care about both sides.

Finally, playing killer is not easy. Where tf did you get the idea that playing killer is easy? Before you say "ThE sTaTs ToLD mE", try playing a round of nurse for the first time. Try playing a round of demo or literally ANY killer for the first time. You can't just jump into killer and expect to know exactly how to play like you can for survivor. Survivors aren't specialized like killers are in that all the survivors are the exact same when they have the same perks. Killers have to work with and around their ability.

The last thing I want to bring up is that even if you die as survivor, as long as you got chased, did a couple of gens, got hit a couple times, and saved a teammate from the hook, you still get a decent amount of bloodpoints. Death doesn't necessarily equal a loss, y'know.

From my experience (as a survivor and a killer) the worst thing that can happen in a game is for a survivor to DC or kill themselves on hook. It completely shifts the game in an instant. If Bubba is facecamping, gen rush the ######### out of him. If you're the one hanging, either accept that you're likely going to be the sacrifice so that your teammates get out of hope your team is brave enough to get you down with Bubba right there. Killers like that are ######### but all you can do is decide what YOU can do about it.

I mean, the games have certainly been sweaty (the game has decided I'm amazing at Leatherface for some reason, thanks I guess lol), but I've been having some fun. I've had to change my build up to be a lot more meta, as that's what the survivors do:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NJYVBY8MRONS/image.png

I personally don't mind sweaty games, I like the challenge sometimes, but most of my games while MMR was on consisted of really good survivors with meta perks. My only concern, really, is that high-ranked matches will have no room for anything but the meta. It's borderline impossible to win without it. You really do have to fight the meta with the meta. My first few matches had a weaker, but more fun build, and I got stomped.

That's more of a discussion about the balance of the game in general, though, not SBMM.

Yeah that's what's sorta been in the back of my mind-when I reach higher levels of play will it mean any niche but fun build will go out the window just because the survivors I go against will be bringing meta perk builds or even if they don't will the gens get popped too quick for me to have fun with my niche build? Maybe I'll find out some day but as for now I just don't have the time to put into getting me higher than rank 8 or 9 lol

  • @konchok said:

You can also make changes. So it doesn't have to be the perk exactly it could for example have a similar affect. And of course the perk would be removed, so you don't need to worry about stacking. And finally make a case as to why you feel it should be base kit.

Maybe deerstalker, hate it when I lose track of slugs in maps like dead dawg

Another issue is that survivors just in general need to stop harassing killers.

Whenever a killer makes a mistake in game survivors taunt them.

Whenever a killer has a bad game they get insulted endlessly in end game chat.

Whenever a killer plays in a way a survivor doesn't like they get told things no one should ever be told.

Whenever a killer plays in a way a survivor DOES(No tunnel/camping of any kind) like they get told they played in a way they didn't like and look at the above.

Whenever killer plays a character they like survivors harass them for playing it(Try playing doctor/legion for a week....)

Whenever a killer plays well they get harassed to no end in end game chat and even out of the game.

None of these even consider things like SWF imbalance or match making which only exacerbates the above issues

What I am trying to get at is part of the issue is the community itself as boy does it make people not want to touch killer with a 12 foot pole.

I think the amount of likes you and the commenter above you has is very telling-clearly many people are sick and tired of many peoples attitude in this game. There are certainly toxic/harassing people on both sides but anyone being completely honest with themselves will know that the harassment more often than not is directed towards killers. I have work to go to and I don't get too much spare time to play but I love this game and so play it as much as I can. I hate coming home from work and try to have a fun game only to be met with survivors who rub their wins in my face. I have no problem with survivors destroying me at the game because that's part of learning BUT when those same survivors want to rub their win in my face instead of moving on or giving me a gg or heaven forbid even some tips it just ruins any fun I've been having. People say "well just don't play the game then" but they miss the point, I love this game and want to keep playing it, I'd just rather not deal with certain attitudes when I lose. I used to play football (soccer) a lot when I was at school, I played for the school team and that taught me a lot about being a gracious winner and to be gracious in defeat too as well as good sportsmanship-it's a pity the same principles aren't applied here. I think it was this mindset that made me stick at playing this game to begin with because boy, those first few weeks I started to play was rough and many of those I played against, especially when I played as a killer, definitely made that experience all the harder when they didn't need to-it makes me wonder how many people have tried the game out but just gave up

Excuse the rant I just wanted to say I get where your coming from lol

Twins and Meg are very close to my heart, one for being a speedy gal, another for being a rough and tumble gremlin booby gal <3

I said I play AROUND DS not that I keep getting hit with DS. I think you missed the point of my comment-what I'm saying is maybe survivor perks needs more looking at rather than the killers, maybe make some other perks a little better so that the lobby isn't filled with DS/BT/DH/unbreakable. With perks like undying and tinkerer, you don't need NOED because the gens are never done for NOED to be used.

Yep undying/ruin/tinkerer isn't a fun build, that's why Ive rarely used it-I'm sure it'll get nerfed soon enough

  • @KettleWettle said:

You know I'm actually starting to realize how much unfun Pyramid Head is to play against. Recently I've been getting a lot of Pyramid heads and I'm really starting to realize how much of an unhealthy killer he is. So let me just get started with saying this, we have 21 killers in the game (Soon to be 22) and I would say 10 out of the 21 killers we have are very healthy for this type of game. I'm not gonna list those other 11 killers because that's not really what I wanna concentrate on, but what I do wanna concentrate on are these 3 killers which are Spirit, Deathslinger, and Pyramid Head...but mainly Pyramid head. First we got introduced to spirit, and we all know a majority of each others opinions on her because of the way she plays out. She's the first unhealthy killer we ever got introduced to and we started to see a bit of a pattern as more killers got released. Then we got Deathslinger, now I don't even think Deathslinger is nearly as unhealhty as spirit, but he still is a bit of an unhealthy killer in the way of no matter how balanced you make him, he's still gonna be an unfun killer to play against because of what he's played as. Now this is where I really wanna talk about in my forum post. Now we have our 3rd unfun killer which is Pyramid Head. Now I'm gonna say this plain and simple, I would 100% rather play against a spirit and a Deathslinger than a Pyramid head and let me tell you why. Whenever you go into a match against a Spirit, you're most likely thinking you're gonna go down pretty fast because there's no real counter play to her, but you still have a 50/50 chance against her. You can use Iron Will, maybe Hide in a locker, or pre-drop a pallet. For Deathslinger, he's got a number of counters, like not just holding W and actually trying to dodge him, or dropping a pallet so he can't hit you through it. Ya know just simple counter play like that. But Pyramid Head has no counters at all. His caging ability is the dumbest thing ever, "Oh there's goes my BT and DS" because caging completely ignores hook perks so if you get tunneled then oh well there goes half of my perk setup. The whole aspect of the caging ability is just very dumb and poorly thought out on. If you loop him at a pallet it's either you throw the pallet down and get hit with his Punishment of the Damned, or you don't throw the pallet down and he just M1's you and you go down, and that's my main issue with him. You get killed for playing well that's not how a killer is supposed to be. You're suppose to be rewarded for playing well and Pyramid Head does the complete opposite. Spirit and Deathslinger are definitely unhealthy killers but I wanted to mainly point out Pyramid Head. I'm just surprised I don't really hear people complain about him very often and I thought I should give a reasonable thought oh these killers.

I think survivor perks should be looked at more rather than scrutinising killers when talking about balance (which always seems to be the starting point). Perks like DS are used far too much, I find it unfun and boring to play around DS every single match without fail-imagine if NOED was used as much as DS is, there would be uproar

First things first. Thank you for actually hearing me out you've got a good head on your shoulders I can tell and I totally agree with you that it must be a total pain to have so much negativity that yeah I think only a little bit of what actually needs to change happens. I started playing the game around about the time it first came to xbox. And like you I really loved it..still do? But now I'm not so sure that I love the direction it's heading. My first memories where playing as the newly released clown and watching the teasers of the spirit. This was before the battle pass. And the game to it's credit was extremely fun. Still is in some ways but that unfortunately hasn't lasted.

I genuinely love this game but something needs to change. But remember we should give credit to the devs if they do something good.

No worries, I always at least try and listen to others perspectives when they seem genuine, put myself in others shoes etc...best way to learn and grow I think, and thank you for the kind compliment :)

Yeah personally I don't think I could put up with so many people throwing negativity towards something I'd made (that's why I'm not a game developer I suppose lol) but on the other hand it does come with the territory. I can be really torn when it comes to the devs, on 1 hand I understand things may be difficult but on the other there are fundamental things like bugs that sometimes take a long time to fix. Unfortunately your certainly not alone with being concerned about the direction the games headed, I've seen many posts saying the same thing-all I can say is I hope that BHVR doesn't take a huge wrong turn and alienate half the player base, that's the trouble with keeping a game like this alive, the base needs to keep active and if they choose not to listen to genuine problems then i fear that's what will happen. Unfortunately I think some people don't help when they just hurl abuse at the devs

Let's keep our fingers crossed that things do change. I absolutely agree with what you say about also giving credit when it's due-that's one thing about dbd that has bothered me from the start, there's so much negativity, whether it's towards the devs or towards eachother (I swear I've never played a game quite so full of taunting BM and toxicity, it's what puts me off the game more than anything else and I don't know why as it hasn't bothered me in other games).

Anyway as I said, let's hope things don't veer way off track and push people away

  • @freddymybae said:

survivors can have 16 meta perks killer only 4 swf is such a pain in the ass i know they cant nerf it besides slowing gens down but that would be 2 unfair for solo players you have to try hard to get a few hooks and then in end game and after the game the bm starts " noob killer ezzzz u suck "

edit was red before long ago but stopped playing

I think the BM is a large part of the issue-certainly is for me and I'm struggling to break out of rank 10. If there wasn't so much blatant taunting then I suspect people would find losing much more tolerable. Such is life

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1751941#Comment_1751941

Yeah totally my dude! I understand they are a business and need ways of making money but if you think about it, they actually have four ways of getting money in the game and there making tens of millions each year. First way is buying the base game, personally I think this should be free because of how poor the quality of gameplay is. The bugs and glitches are teaming everywhere. But i also think it should be free because the other three ways they have of making money. Buying dlc. Buying skins. Buying battle pass. Every game I know that has a battle pass and tons of skins to buy is free to play except dbd. Not to mention I think for a game to ask for this money the gameplay should be as good as a free to play game is. I understand we have to pay for license dlc. But it is still sorta pay to win. The shards system is incredibly grindy and to get anywhere near the amount of shards to buy characters it takes months. The shrine of secrets is completely random and not reliable. But I would be fine with the dlc being paid for if the game was free to play.

The reason I don't have much respect left for dbd is because they continually give us buggy patches and low optimisation. Yet they think it's ok to charge all that money.

The rift is designed to buy super annoying and grindy so you spend some cells of those last few tiers then you have to buy more for next pass so on. It's a cycle. A very not friendly cycle.

This and people having their views censored is really making loose faith in dbd.

When i initially started to read your comment I thought to myself "come on, the game shouldn't be free, clearly not expensive but not free" but when I continued I realised that you've definitely got a point-I think the reason I had those first thoughts was down to the fact I started playing dbd when it was on xbox game pass and once I could see the game was getting under my skin (in a good way) I was able to buy it at a reduced rate if I remember correctly, mind you my memory really isn't the best lol I also don't buy the game pass either, I basically bought the game, buy every dlc and that's all so the ways you mentioned of them making money hadn't entered my thoughts very much till now. So yeah, you've definitely got a point

On the other hand I just feel the devs get a lot of grief needlessly and that's maybe a small part of why they don't seem to listen to the legit concerns people have about the game, maybe it's got to the point where they've had to mostly tune out all the chatter and only a trickle of what this game really does need gets through to them. I hope that makes sense lol I'm not trying to say the devs are blameless I just think it's maybe harder to concentrate on what needs done when everyone shouts different things at once. Things have been changing for the better compared to what I've read it used to be like but maybe not enough. On the other hand there are consistent problems that players often repeat to the devs that they should be paying attention to. Also yeah the shrine, not reliable at all which is partly why I just buy the dlcs when they come out lol

I've been coming across people saying they censor people quite a lot lately, has something happened recently or changed because in the past 3 weeks or so? I've really seen a spike of people who've been saying this

  • @Only2Megabytes said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1747738#Comment_1747738

A lot of people like to bully the devs for the state of the game, but it's not as bad as the community makes it out to be. They have done a pretty good job so far.

Yeah that's the feeling I get from how people talk about the way dbd used to be and from what I've seen so it always gives me hope that the game will keep on evolving whenever I get frustrated with the game

  • @DaFireSquirtle said:

Is anybody surprised? The game is teaming with bugs and performance issues. Among other things. But they can be counted on in making sure they get their money from our pockets. Don't give me the different teams do different things bs. They earn so much money each year yet still can't fix their game. This shows they don't care unless it's money involved.

I genuinely feel your sentiments but I guess they've got to keep making money somehow to keep the game running since it was released years ago (although I understand that DLCs like silent Hill and being on console with crossplay brings in new people too). I'm not saying it's right because there's certainly things that need seeing to in-game, I'm just saying that they've got to keep money coming in. I don't buy cosmetics so issues regarding them I'm not particularly aware of but I always buy DLCs even if I hardly play them (I barely play blight at all) so I have their perks and it gives them some money, it's just a shame they don't seem to use it to work on nuts and bolts issues so much

Going back 1-2 years in dbd videos reminds people of the days when pallets were in oceans and windows were everywhere

Old Bus, Both windows, Both pallets

Old LT walls, Had pallets on auto haven maps

Old Jungle gym, Double Pallet, Double window, Double the fun

Tank Treads and empty pallet spawns? didn't think so, heres old wrenched shop main building with all 3 windows on the one side unblocked and the single window on the other side also unblocked with 3 or so pallets surrounding the building

Old Coal tower? Both windows why not

Old Iron works? Window at the bottem, 3 windows at the top

Ocean of pallets that took 3 seconds to break each, 80% of pallet spawns were DUAL pallets and on top of that pallet vacuum as if the survivor needed more

Windows to deal with, would be nice to have something to block them, just wait 2 months for now just take 3 seconds to vault them and deal

and no bloodlust not even a chance to catch up after all these resources

Thankfully as survivors got better the amount of resources they had also decreased to compensate so the game actually became playable

If we had old pallet amounts, tiles with 2 windows 2 pallets, and old tiles with way too many windows and NO blockers or bloodlust it would be unplayable

This is why I sometimes get annoyed when people continuously disparage BHVR-clearly the game has been evolving and getting better as time goes on. That's not to say devs don't have problems that there are legit concerns around, but overall its clear the game has been getting better and that's the main thing. Thankfully I wasn't around for those days but I've seen plenty vids and it seems....interesting lol

Yup simple things like that, or that the lights flicker on buildings with an unfinished gen in it on Badham & Haddonfield and such, and are solid when the gen is done if it has no gen inside it.

It also will help in learning tiles, routing, and safe vs. unsafe pallets. First person view compared to third make many things look quite different.

I'd no idea about the flickering lights-I've been playing since Feb which is not super long (I play casually so not on dbd all the time but I'm on it enough) but I'm shocked I didn't know this before. Thanks for pointing it out! 👍

The reason you are red rank without the matching skill set is because they favor the killers in this game. Just have to show up, hit a survivor or two, camp your first hook or tunnel until disconnect or dead and you'll max out on points.

The toxic survivors are a product of the tormenting killers and barring witness to all the hard work you put in during the match to only see a fraction of the killers reward.

Well I must be an angel then and just don't camp or tunnel because I've been playing killer for months and I'm still at rank 11 😂

    UPDATE: THE DISCORD! (https://discord.gg/vwNRswb)

Hi, I checked forum rules to see if this was allowed, and it seems it is as I found nothing against it. So I've decided to go through with it! I hope you're excited to see a forum project come up.

I'd like to see if anyone is interested in joining me in an investigation (or experiment) with these goals and interests in mind.

Goal: Determine how the community reacts to positive in game and post-game reinforcement.

You will be given instructions in private for now. If they MUST go public, please tell me and they will quickly go up.

A general overview would be, that players are expected to play fair and be kind to their opponent when given the opportunity and record their reactions. I.e, an edited screenshot with no personal information.

Feel free to leave a message if you're interested here too! I genuinely believe this could be highly interesting and have a positive effect in stage 2. After all, this is information collecting. There won't be that many participants now, unless I need them.

Ok I see lots of xbox players saying they can help-I'm also on xbox, should I PM you or just go to the discord?

Yes I’ve noticed, and I suspect it has something to do with the tick rate and hit validation being either tinkered with by the devs, or potentially tampered with by hackers (not players within the same match, I mean people like what we’ve seen forcing DC penalties on streamers).

Yeah this is a recent thing you've noticed? I'm a Baker and work nightshift, I was worried I wasn't getting enough sleep 😂 but seriously I do feel as though the consistency of the game for me has changed since last week and I hoped it wasn't my Internet although the connection and speed seems fine

It's not that some games seem better than others-I just had a match with freddy and got a 3k (survivor got hatch) and it still felt as strange as the match I had the past weekend.

Sorry but im not sure what your getting at with "rank 11 is pretty standard", my point with mentioning the rank was to say I've been there for a while now and so know what to expect-bit ranking further up has more to do with how much time I can spend playing

Well that's the dumbest comment I've seen so far today-I'm 37 so definitely not a spring chicken, people usually mature with age and understand a bit more. Evidently you've somehow missed that maturing phase

  • So what your comment amounts to is "git gud" which equals nothing.

I'm just saying those survivors who use the excuse of "I'm just having a laugh with my friends and so it doesn't impact the killer" is clearly untrue and it would be better to just own it and say "i know it can impact the killers experience to SWF but we aren't sweaty about it" because it's not fair for killers to expect SWF not to be a thing but equally killers generally don't like sweaty SWF

  • @SloppyKnockout said:

Most of the time, it's not SWF ruining your killer matches. It's mostly yourself ruining your killer matches.

99% of SWF's are just people shooting the proverbial **** with their buddies. The amount of tryhard SWF's are the 1%. Chances are, and statistically speaking, if you're losing to all SWFs, you really need to get better; and you can. DBD is a fairly easy game to play on either side. You can do it:)

I hear this excuse about SWF all the time, "the majority of SWF are just friends talking to each other" and that's fine, but don't tell me these groups don't also say things like "oh he's chasing me now beside xyz" and things of that nature while they're chatting because of course they are. I'm not saying get rid of SWF all I'm saying is this excuse of "mostly it's just friends chatting" is a poor excuse

Unhookable Glitch on Killer is still there along with the 2-second ds on certain killers are literally game breaking but haven't been fixed with this hotfix

Damn I was hoping that hook bug would be fixed. The DS one too but I play mostly killer and that bug has been losing me matches sometimes

  • @UMCorian said:

I really don't get these threads. If you wanna tunnel survivors, tunnel survivors. If you wanna "tunnel gens" (lol?), tunnel gens. If you want to hook someone put 2 traps down next to them and sit their spamming M1 on them, go for it. Happened to me yesterday. I don't run meta perks, I run Kindred... all he did was show the other 3 survivors where he was for 2 minutes... they just finished the remaining gens and left and 2 of the 3 taunted the killer after the game. Killer rubbed in that he killed me, all I said was "gg wp!"

    I consider it a win.

See I don't understand killers playing like that-I'm a killer main, I've rarely played survivor since I bought dbd in Feb (I probably should play survivor more just to get my gameplay better) and doing what you said that person did sounds so boring-I don't care if I lose all 4 survivors so long as I'm running about trying my best and hoping everyobe is having fun. Unfortunately that sometimes makes it look like I'm a prime target from t bagging and flashlight clicking etc....its a shame there isn't more respect in game

A good pyramid will get you tormented if he needs to, plus you only need about 4 cages to delete everyones DS and most of the time you'll only need to avoid DS about 1 or 2 times a match. Going for cages leaves survivors open yea, but only 2 people are on gens, 1 saved and the other is being tunneled. If you get that person out of the match early you've won the game already.

Literally all killer will struggle if they face a strong squad

You wonder why Spirit and Nurse are the 2 best killers? and people always complain about Doc, PH, Slinger? They're the only people who can get downs against good survivors consistently. Some better than others.

"a good pyramid head will get you tormented". Yes your right, that's why they are good, and good survivors can do well at avoiding the goo. I think a discussion about his m2 attack is fair enough but his torment (therefore cages) is fine

Thanks! I tried to explain it the best as I could.

It's important for people to realize that stuff.

Well I think you explained it well and I agree, it's important for people to know

I played this game years ago, and it was the same. When I started playing I actually got more toxicity than now.

But anyways, I think that toxicity will never disappear from this game tbh. This game, the way this game it's "created", allows toxicity. If that makes sense.

Also, survivors tend to be more toxic just by psychological reasons. They are in a scenario 4vs1. They are in a group, so they feel powerful. It's the same as how bullying works.

Survivors tend to be less toxic for example when 2 or 3 people died, then the last one is usually kind.

Coincidence? Of course not, that's just how psychology works.

If there are 4 people alive and gates opened, the game allows them to disrespect the killer, and make him/her feel awful, because they know they already won.

It's not like other games, where if you win, the game ends. In dbd, you can pretty much win and the game still is going on. Which allows killers and survivors, to enjoy and take advantage of those moments.

That's why I, for example, never go to the exit gates to meet survivors just before they escape. That's pointless. That would just feed their egos.

If you win, you win, end the game already. Don't waste others' time and don't make fun of them.

I've had games where I got gen rushed to death, and they all escaped quickly. It felt bad, but at least I was like ok, they won. But they didn't make me feel bad about it.

But also, I've had games where they gen rushed, and they stayed to make fun of me. Those, are the really messed up people.

This. I think you summed it all up nicely

  • @Liddy said:

People who t-bag usually think they're better than they are.

It's actually kind of awkward seeing them t-bag and then go down the second after, lol.

Yeah it really is kinda awkward downing then a sec after lol

  • @Axe said:

Trying to tilt the killer off. when you tilt you lose focus when you lose focus you lose games.

Its all about getting inside your head

Yeah I didn't think about that till I opened this thread-which is why I started it lol I guess though I was thinking more in times where its not going to effect gameplay-at the exit gates for example, i'm just surprised at the fact people still find it funny and it does still annoy people. I dunno, I've always wanted people to enjoy their games and not wanted to annoy others so I suppose there's been a little bit of naivety on my part insofar as how much certain people just want to be d***s for the sake of it-so long as people react to it (and I understand my post is reacting to it lol) then people will do it I guess is the take away from this thread

  • @tippy2k2 said:

People tbag generally cause they're jerks. That's about it. People can make up all kinds of justifications for it about how they're trying to get under the killers skin to get them to play on tilt or that they're trying to get the killers attention to chase them but ultimately the base reason is they're mocking the killer.

But hey, Tbag away dude. Sure it's only a second maybe of you tbagging at the pallet or whatnot but that's an extra second that I don't have to make up anymore when I chase you down. All you've really done is made it so that I don't give you Hatch/Escape at the end of the game if I was feeling generous when the game started.

Well that's the conclusion I'd came to but I was really interested in what people had to say about it. Someone talked about it making the killer lose focus and I can sort of get on board with that but I generally think it's just people being jerks as you say. What is interesting though is just how ingrained it seems to be. But yeah, as a killer main I'll take that couple extra secs too lol

  • @YaiPa said:

it's funny probably for the same reason why it might be funny watching someone slipping or gettin lightly hurt (make yourself the psychological explanations). As for the game, t bagging is "useful" to break focus, as well as flashlight clicking.

Hmmm maybe I'm just old because the funness in tbagging for me has long gone 😂 I see your point about breaking focus though, that's not something I'd thought about (although I'd thought about it with the flashlights), thanks

  • @Zeus said:

It's such an unnecessary thing to do. I really don't understand. You know it's to annoy the killer but the thing is why? He pays the same money as you to play the game. Why be offensive to someone who you never have met before? It's not even funny when people do that. It's annoying.

But heres the thing, it doesn't annoy me and i sincerely presumed it didn't annoy most people till now. I mean I guess it annoys me like "urgh another one doing it" but that's about it. I totally agree with what you said about both paying the same etc...

Oh I didn't mean to come across harsh haha I just find it weird because everyone is so used to it now it's impact is neglible at best. I can get doing that to a killer who's playing unfair but I don't get why people do the clicky clicks and t bagging for no apparent reason

Bit harsh there but honestly you're not wrong. xD

I seriously hate tbaggers, flashlight clickers and other toxic types of players, but I'm going to confess here that if the Killer plays in a really absurdly annoying way, I also tbag and click with my flashlight. But I swear, I don't do it because I want to, it's because I also get tilted.

Just noticed your post wasn't for me lol

  • @xEa said:

Someone who tbags tries to tilt or annoy the killer.

Why would people annoy other people? I dont know, lets look at some examples who do it.

Ochido and AngryPug are good examples. Both do it all the time, both are pricks and unsecure. Both had big ups and downs during their life (at least they claim they had) and both seems to be pretty lonely, at least this is my impression when i watched them.

Yeah I understand they are trying to frustrate the other player I just didn't think it still bothers people. But that's why I started this thread and I'm finding out it does still frustrate people

Chucky isn't a child, its a grown ass mans soul thrown into a childrens toy.

I think the only horror villain they would have an issue with adding would be some children of the corn BS, and "Let the Right one In" <---Both of which are franchises nobody cares about tbh...

The only viable Kid'ish character I can think of is Trick R Treats pumpkin alien monster thing called Sam....which isn't even a kid....hell its not even human. Its a demon that was born in a pumpkin patch and runs around on halloween posing as a kid to kill people....

And not even joking....a Sam from Trick R Treat chapter would be pretty stylish!

Talking about Halloween and pumpkin patches and kids reminds me of that totally out of place 3rd Halloween movie (season of the witch) - it has no Myers and little connection to Halloween except the name lol if you haven't seen it you should just for the ######### and giggle factor lol

There would probably be an issue regarding whether BHVR would be glorifying or celebrating real life murderers. This would be a road to controversy they would most probably not survive.

I'm fine with using myths or urban legends such as La Llorona, Spring-heeled Jack, or The White Death. There would be plenty of scope with those and many more.

Yep I think that's probably the reason as well as maybe some legal issues even if the killer is dead. I'm with you for using myths and urban legends-imagine a bigfoot dlc lol not sure what his powers would be though!

    Please.

He's incredibly fun to play but I absolutely suck with him.

I think knowing which maps are good for stalking and which ones are better for just trying to jumpscare people because of your power helps but I guess that comes in time. Like people have already said buildings, especially upstairs so maps with that are good to 99 your stalk and get downs. When it's a large outside map i personally use GF more as a m1 killer, just using his power to hide my terror radius and get the jump on the plus mind game easier. Although these are all things in theory, I'm still not all that good on GF lol but i hope that helps a little bit

  • @GreyBigfoot said:

Aim to get stalk people to 90% or more, especially if there's more than one survivor in the area, and you can save someone stalked for later while chasing the other.

You can't be revealed while stalking & leaning from cover (the category is called Hidden Stalker)

Hitting someone will will make their stalk meter go back to 0, but it's better to get the hit if you're gonna get revealed anyway. If you have power recharge addons (chewed pen, address book, matchbook) it might be better to get your power back and quickly finish the stalk to make them exposed.

Whoa, I've been playing ghostface for a out 4 months now and had no idea you couldn't be revealed while stalking from cover lol should probably do that more, especially since it increases the rate of your stalk as well

    Ok, Killer Main.

    Keep complaining.

Maybe you should just stop complaining and play the game? Idk.

What does being a killer main have to do with anything? Both sides can be just as bad as each other. Although just because of sheer numbers (4 people v 1) killers generally get more toxic rubbish thrown at them
