I've heard the Huntress' full lullaby before this patch.

Because Nurse doesn't move at 3.8 lol. You shouldn't be walking around the map with the Nurse, my dude

Maybe quit losing, because if they are at the exit gate already, they deserve to win. Killer can BM just as hard as survivors.
Get Shrekt ™️

I haven't noticed anything running Fixated but I wasn't playing particular attention. I'll test it
-
You load into the trial and instantly get 100k BP Incognito bonus lol
-
Botany Knowledge, Spine Chill, medkits and add ons, etc, etc all increase your healing speed even more. What the perk description is saying is that if you unhook multiple survivors the perk itself will not keep multiplying.

Are we looking at the same Adam skin rn?
Woah two people with different opinions? I never knew this could happen!!! 😳😳😳

"this part of the game is very unbalanced, but fixing it requires a lot of thinking, therefor we might aswell never try finding a solution"
That's your attitude. And no, it doesnt cause more problems than it fixes. It creates a few problems that are easily fixable by applying a bit of practical thinking. I'm not saying my solution is the best solution, but its the best I can currently think off and leaves the game far more balanced than the current exit gate is.
It is not unbalanced at all lol. Your bias is showing.

True, but there is quite an easy fix to that tbh:
On first entry(perhaps even while in chase), get a 5 second endurance buff, that way if you're chased inside, you can still escape, but if you re-enter the trial, you're at risk.
I mean, the whole thing about the EGC is that it should be the most dangerous part of the game. Leaving the exit gates in favor of saving a teammate should bear some risks to it. That way, you could still potentially bodyblock with that 5 second endurance on someone who went back, but it would actually be a resource that can be used, rather than simply an area. Considering it takes about 2,5 seconds to move from entrance to the actual escape, 5 seconds should leave enough wiggle room.
I get that just slapping exposed on that area is gonna create problems, but it's a lot easier to think of a way to nerf the exit gate area too much and then worry on buffing it again, than to leave it as is. I also get that this kind of behaviour only really applies to higher skilled players. But that is a bit of the problem: higher skilled players abuse game mechanics that are fine for the average player. Its why the flashlight is considered toxic, even though as an item its just fine. It's why Ebony Mori is considered overpowered, even though in theory, its fine. I'm just adding in my 2 cents to find ways to practically have no difference for the average player.
Personally, I think its a possibility worth exploring and tweaking. It makes a lot more killers lategame viable without buffing strong late game killers too much.
Just stop. It's never going to happen. Hit the survivors to force them out and move on with your life like everybody else does. No need for any convoluted "solutions" that cause more problems.

I love the Huntress', Plague's and Julie's cosmetics. Kate's and Adam's are really neat too. Then Claudette's dress and Dwight's outfit are nice but I hate both their head cosmetics.
Overall I think it's pretty good. If you don't like it, don't buy it 🤷

It might be time to just cut 90% of RNG. Have set maps other than gens, gates, totems, killer items, and chests. Have all the pallets, windows, obstacles, hooks, loops, etc be the same every time.
-
I mean the slight increase in time is in combination with all the map changes. The devs are unlikely to just up and add another 15-20+ seconds to the gens. So don't expect that.
-
I mean sometimes some of the things they say can seem a bit rude but I would say the vast majority of the time they are polite or friendly and then even when they are rude, it's often deserved. I don't see it as a problem. In fact, I'm often impressed that they are able to be so polite when dealing with some of the people on this forum and social media.

The last one is really just a joke. I mainly did this just to point out how easy it would be to ban camping.
Although... You might need the third one for some Bubbas.
Burn, Bubba, Burn!
-
Kill the killer! 🔥🔥
No but seriously the first two are interesting ideas but the values need to be adjusted and it shouldn't be a chase requirement, just whether or not a survivor is within a certain range.
The killer should not die tho lol
-
@JediWithASniper said:
If the killer spawned in a few minutes early and had to place 5 totems, it could maybe work. But they would have to block certain placements, like inside bushes.
No thanks. I'm not waiting a few extra minutes in a load screen for the killer to place totems. That's absurd.

Imagine complaining that Killers want a secondary objective so that gens don't get done in under 5 minutes. Survivor are FAR less perk-reliant than the vast majority of Killers, they can survive without having a 4-pack of second chance perks and use something to actually counter the Killer perks that they love to complain about so much
So not only do you want a secondary objective, you also think this secondary objective should be hidden? So survivors need to turn every little corner to find it? Also, no totem counter btw so unless you're swf or you personally cleanse all 5 then you could be looking for a totem that doesn't exist. What a fantastically designed secondary objective, my dude!

Deal with it and stop ruining people's games just because you can't always get your way.

This is different from a flashlight blind. Wraith can be lightburned and stunned whenever he is cloaked by shining a flashlight anywhere on his body. Wraith is unable to use his power against some teams if they have at least two flashlights and do gens in groups of two. I've had it happen to me. Whenever I would approach a gen someone would stun me with a flashlight. I had to play powerless Wraith for the entire match to avoid being constantly stunned by flashlights.
Flashlights last like 12 seconds

Over $3000 by now. It's hard to be exact on PS4 because they only tell you your stats once a year :(
-
If I don't get tunneled into oblivion, camped or hit on the hook then I don't tbag. Oh and head shaking after downed.
-
6 free skins would never happen. Unless you mean across multiple rifts.
I think the problem is that any winners are going to be super cool skins that a lot of the community will want. That's a lot of work to do for free. It's no surprise that the majority of the free skins in the rift are recolored versions of already existing skins.

I like a bunch of her cosmetics. Also, maybe consider taking a deep breath.

Thank you for letting us know.

When they first announced the change I didn't mind it. I thought it seemed fair. But really, the more you put thought into it the less it makes sense. Especially considering the medkit and toolbox needs.
To be completely honest, and this is my personal opinion based on no facts, I think they made the change because on mobile they wanted to increase the grind even further, but it would have been too obvious that's what they were doing if only mobile changed. So they changed it for consoles and PC, too.
All it does is increase the grind. And maybe to throw a bone to diehard killer mains who think Bhvr is secretly a survivor based deep state developer out to make their game experience as miserable as possible.
Ok, tin foil hat coming off now..
-
I don't think any community for a PVP game will ever be particularly nice, tbh. On the flip side I don't think it is really anymore toxic than any other community and I think people exaggerate or get lost in their emotions when they have bad experiences. The grass is always greener, type of thing.
-
I think this is a great compromise and can't see anything wrong with it.
-
I've seen Onis destroy on PS4.
Regardless, next patch we will be able to increase sensitivity more
-
On mobile it's the opposite problem. Survivor queues are near instant and killer can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Since on mobile you really want quick games it's not even worth trying to play killer.
Plus the bot AI for survivors is garbage. They fast vault for no reason and then get stuck running into windows without vaulting until the crows give them away and killers down them.
The killer AI on the other hand is relentless and once they see you they will not stop until they down you, even if they were already chasing an injured survivor and you are healthy.
They also come straight back to the hook if you are unhooked rather than patrolling gens.

Switching to perks that would counter a certain killer would require nerfs to said perks in one way or another because some of these perks would literally negate some killer powers, like for example Calm Spirit negating Freddy's (dream snare), Doctor's and Clown's powers.
Calm Spirit does not negate their powers.. it counters one aspect of their powers.

That's his question though. If that is the case, then why dont they like playing against SWF, if the game is balanced?
Gee, I wonder. Because people absolutely lose their ######### when a survivor gets hatch and all they get is a lousy, stinking 3k and they don't even double pip #########!
Obviously plenty of people would prefer to play against survivors they'd have an easier chance to 4k.
-
Hopefully somebody sees this and escalates it.

Negative. There are no teachables in the Mobile version. All perks are unlocked, and you get a new random perk (or a higher level of one you already have) every time you level up a killer. There is no bloodweb either.
EDIT: Clarification, I unlocked BBQ and Chilli on my Trapper at lvl 6. I do NOT own Leatherface (on mobile).
Leatherface, Freddy and Quentin are not on mobile. Their perks are tho

This 300%

As long as Survivors continue playing into campers, camping will continue to work.
There are way too many factors for it to be that simple. Camping + NOED and/or a stealth killer means unless the killer ######### up they are almost guaranteed at least a 2k. Likely more if the RNG favors them with exit gate or gen placements.
Plus solo survivors do not have telepathy so they won't know if the killer is camping unless they go for the save or use certain perks which can be countered by stealth killers or Insidious. That can waste a huge amount of time.
For the best outcome against a camper you are entirely reliant on a. the camped survivor not to attempt to escape or just let themselves die on hook ASAP once they realise they are being camped and will get ######### for BP and emblems for the match, and b. the other two survivors to play correctly even though you have no way to communicate with them.
Placing the blame entirely on survivors doesn't make any sense. Especially when you guys make killers and perks that ENCOURAGE camping, like Leatherface and Insidious.
It's not even just that camping can be very effective, it's also that it's incredibly easy to do and many people do it for no reason other than ruin somebody else's experience.

But the problems from doctor doesn't come on him approaching you. He have an AoE (with quite low cd) that reveals the position from survivors, besides putting them into madness, and in chasing, besides bloodlust, he can straight up spams his skills, difficulting the run. But i guess it's just a matter of time to learn how to deal with it. :)
You can tell when he's about to use his power and you know after he uses it you're safe for at least a minute. Lockers prevent you from screaming. I also recommend Calm Spirit if you're really struggling against him. You won't scream/reveal your location.
-
He doesn't have speed or stealth. He definitely requires more skill to play effectively than killers like Spirit, Freddy or Billy.
