Tbh I think each player that didn't disconnect getting some BP would be a nice thing. It sucks having to wait through everything just for the game to be canceled. Maybe like 5k BP.

I believe this Michael and Laurie is based more on the first two original movies in 1978 and 1981, respectively. (At least, at base. I say this because there's an Add-On or two Myers has that's a nod to somethings from the book that John Carpenter helped write, which I believe is a supplement to the first movie, and we know that 2 is also considered Cannon in that light.)
So I believe they are related, however I've personally always figured with this version of Myers, it's more because she's the only person he (presumably) knows from stalking her and her friends (since we don't know when exactly the Entity took him) or because she was the last person to find things, making her a loose end to clean up- and less because he knows she's his sister. (That's just me tho, everyone has their own take.)

I was initially opposed to the change in the new film but overall I guess it doesn't really change much. I think maybe even the less "motivation" Michael has, the better. Some people are just born that way.

It's a good start but they really need to let you pick the map, killer/survivor and your load out.
And you should be able to get like 3-5 free matches with a killer or survivor you don't own, using their perks

Oni is not a stealth killer. He's huge, loud and incredibly visible by design.
Pig and Ghost Face can completely remove their TR so why do they need a slightly smaller one? You can still use Whispers on them quite effectively. When you turn off their TR it slowly fades as if they are moving away from you so survivors won't know if you're coming or not. You could also argue it benefits the killer for them to briefly hear the TR because many survivors will chicken out and stop working on gens.
I'm cool with the devs occasionally designing a unique power around a different terror radius but none of your examples really need it and would make only very slight differences in the killers for not a good enough reason.

Yeah you had one bad experience so you think instead of banning the offender, Bhvr should decide to reverse course and delete the charm from the game but I'm the one who needs to grow up.
What about all the people who said bad things before the release of the charm? Lots of people say awful things to NOED users, should Bhvr delete NOED?

The grind is getting absurd and it's honestly very frustrating that Bhvr hasn't taken more steps to make it more manageable. That was one thing I was really expecting to be talked about more on the anniversary special, especially with them referencing wanting to make the game more accessible for new players.
Honestly all I can say is.. 🤦

I would think that if a survivor carries a boon perk then the trial will spawn an additional dull totem that the survivor must ignite (taking 14 seconds) to activate the perk's effect. If the killer finds it they will probably be able to crush it and deactivate the perk, maybe taking 5 seconds or so.
This way survivors get something extra to do other than objectives and survivor perks won't take away from the killer's standard 5 totems.
What I like about this concept is that if survivors find a very well hidden totem to put their boon on, it will make NOED spawn on an easier to find totem. It'll also be interesting to see how survivor and killer totem related perks interact with these new perks. Like will Thrill of the Hunt make activating a boon totem take longer? What about if the killer cleanses it? Will extra dull totems on the map add even more tokens to TotH?

I agree with this. Geez people are wound up tight.
HOWEVER, I find it hard to believe that nobody at Bhvr could have anticipated this kind of reaction with such little information released. I don't think they should have mentioned the new system at all if they weren't prepared with some concrete information.
So, yes everybody needs to chill out. But at the same time.. Bhvr, you've been at this for 5 years now. You can do better.
