So... we're getting an auto ban feature.
and i am honestly scared of that.
the way it was worded makes it look like a certain amount of reports will automatically lead to a ban on your profile, which, obviously, would be quite a problematic thing due to the possible report system abuse resulting from that.
basically, people could start reporting you for nonsense whenever you beat them to get you banned.
now i dont wanna dive too deep into this and let it dampen my mood any further, so all im saying is:
this system better be working absolutely flawlessly. if its gonna be another chat filter disaster this can be extremely harmful for the game.
i really hope there is more to it they just didnt tell us...

Get ready for people to get banned because someone reported them for camping or tunneling lol.
This sounds like a bad idea. Players from my point of view are VERY prone to report for things that are not report-worthy.
It will probably go like this: One guy reports you, the whole algorithm freaks out and bans you for eternity.
No.
Now survivors can report me because i killed them :d Pretty good job.
THIS SYSTEM BETTER BE WORKING ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESSLY.
One word: BHVR.
I've got reported once because a new player jumped in a locker in front of me and I took them out of it. They said I was hacking.
Imagine being banned because you played the game... Because someone didn't know jumping in a locker makes a noise notification and also... I'm not blind, if you do it in front of me, I see you.
It's BHVR. It's going to be devoid of common sense, not work as intended, and lead to a ton of frustration. This seems so easily abusable. People report for slugging and camping, for crying out loud. There's no way this works.
Honestly, it was bound to happen. The current system is unecessarily convoluted with steps & it was all done manually.
Now, instead of proving that someone is worth a ban they'll have to challenge the ban.
Its a bad idea if it's based on the amount of reports.
Other games have this and its clearly abused.
Record all of your matches so when you inevitably get falsely banned you have a chance of contesting the ban.
This is a terrible idea.
You play a killer that Survivor players don't like? Reported.
You camp someone during the endgame? Reported.
You slug someone to go after someone else? Reported.
You unhook someone before another Survivor can? Reported.
You unhooked without Borrowed Time? Reported (by the Survivor).
You unhooked with Borrowed Time? Reported (by the Killer).
You use a certain perk that other players don't like? Reported.
You are a streamer? Believe it or not, reported.
