Wraith also has some power on certain loops, I don't know the name of the technique but you can fake going for one side while uncloacking and quickly switch sides. Sometimes you get free hits with the speed boost.
-
Probably, I don't remember seeing it recently.
Maybe it's a Mandela effect and that crane never existed, the picture is photoshopped. /s
-
Or just approach the window in the right angle? Or is it too difficult for you?
-
Yep. Seems balanced to me.
-
Because loud = scarier according to most horror games
-
The best camping killer is The Doctor, you can grab unhooking people even in treatment mode, 99% of the survivors don't know it.

I had no idea what it meant. What language is that?
In (mexican) spanish, you have to put the last 2 words together. It could be a big coincidence though. But I don't see other meaning to those words.

Yellow's insult means "for being gay" in a despective manner

Tru3 uploaded a video where a gen was made 24 seconds into the game, if that isn't gen rush idk what to tell you

well if someone says "i hope your mother gets cancer and dies"
does this fit into normal toxic conversation?
I live in a country where insults are normal... And I've been told things worse than that and I doubt anyone reported them, even less probably banned.

i know some people who got banned for it
I know people banned from trash talking but was mostly for life threats and serious stuff like that. For others like just a normal toxic conversation I doubt people get banned at all, at least on PC.
-
I doubt it. Half of the playerbase would be banned otherwise

I'm sorry but the game is not 1v1.
While the killer is chasing a survivor (the supposedly called "1v1") there are other 3 people working on gens, totems, etc. And even sometimes doing stuff to help the chased survivor like spamming the noise notification, bodyblock the killer, throw pallets, etc. Is this, for you, a fair "1v1"?
The game should be balanced around 1v4 BUT having in mind that the killer WILL go into chases, thus not making their power end them abruptly.
The whole argument of the game being 1v1 and 1v4 seems weak to me, its not like while you're chasing a survivor the other 3 are froze in place lol

It's lovely that free hits from accidentally bumping into a survivor are gone, but the key points that make Spirit a miserable experience have really not been addressed by her changes. Namely:
There is 0 feedback to her power. You cannot make any form of informed or reactionary decision against the Spirit's power. You can know she's phasing, and your options are "completely guess where she is and hope I don't go down from a hit launched while invisible." That isn't fun. There's no skill to going against an opponent that has a massive amount of information as to your precise location, and all you know is "she's right up my ass."
Which brings us to the other big issue, sound. If you don't have Iron Will, you're #########. If you do have Iron Will, she has Stridor and you're ######### anyway. It's impossible to play around giving your exact location to her constantly. You can try all the backtracking and walking and avoiding grass patches all you like, but when your character keeps shouting "I'm right here!" it's pointless, and it sucks to play. At the very least, Iron Will should finally be changed to trump Stridor. If you're burning a perk JUST to not make injured grunts, there's no reason a perk that makes everyone louder and easier to find should ALSO be the one that trumps silence in the injured condition. It really doesn't feel great when the only somewhat reliable counterplay to a killer's power is 100% negated by their perk.
You do get feedback of when she's phasing, things like footsteps (that are pretty loud) or her whooshing sound. And if you're in her TR just play safe and play like she is phasing.
Also, remember that spirit is a 110 killer and that her first hit is crucial to down you, if you can delay the first hit, chances are you're gonna delay the whole chase.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there used to be a bug where the spirit whooshing sound played even in her TR and that made playing against Spirit a walk in the park. Knowing when she is fake standing at a pallet or using her power is too much of a giveaway and would drop her down a lot of tiers.
If you have problems with her, just run spine chill, its literally the best perk in the game against her and all other killers.

the point is that BL was very restrictive on where and when you could activate it. Unlike lithe, sb or dh which could be used almost everywhere. the passive was the only thing that made it on par with the others.
The way I see it, BL was made to complete the "exhaustion saga". An exhaustion perk that activated when/while:
- Running healty? Check
- Running injured? Check
- Vaulting? Check
- Falling? Check
Is BL restrictive? Of course, like every other exhaustion perk.
All of them had their drawbacks, SB makes you walk more, with DH you can't fully control the dash, with Lithe... Well lithe doesn't have any (devs lithe op pls nerf). And with BL you have to be well positioned and have a falling point nearby.
All maps should have at least a few fall points so BL users always get use of their perk.
-
"The perk is straight up useless when exhausted, no longer providing a passive."
No other exhaustion perk had a passive, are they in need of a buff too?
-
Weren't his "shadow nerfs" a shorter power lunge and things like that?

Just a rework would do fine, thanks
BHVR doesn't know how to rework Legion, its like they've been created to fail.
I'd be happy if they just throwed them to the recycle bin and start over, keep the design or whatever but the current legion is a joke that has lost its comedy.
Like if they deleted them now whos gonna care? Legion mains are masochists anyway so they might even find more pleasure they already do in getting humilliated for playing a killer BHVR has no idea what to do with.
EDIT: Legion mains I feel you, hope u can recover from this toxic relationship player-legion-BHVR. They should add a therapy section on the forums just for you.

Still waiting for the TLDR

More bloodpoints is cool and all, but it's will be a more stressfull game for the killer.
And I rather have less stress than bloodpoints.
I think it'd be less stressful actually, knowing if the survivors are SWF can let you use a killer you're good with, for example.

Well, the problem with this idea is that some people don't care about BP at all. They might have everything they need or they are just not playing for BP.
But yes, solo survivors and killers need some kind of solution for SWF, but it needs to be more universal.
This could be a band aid fix for future updates like BP exchange for shards/auric cells.
Things like 1.000.000 BP = 50 AC
-
Like the clown wasnt a clown already with his weak ass power, now he has this skin. Going down with grace.
-
This has been around for years now, I doubt theyll do something about it.
-
In all seriousness I personally find killer gameplay easier because I don't need to worry about teammates.
But against a competent team you notice killer gameplay is harder and more demanding than survivor gameplay. Every bad decision can prolong a chase or make you lose a game.
For example, the other day I was on haddonfield and downed this guy who had DS during the endgame, i was about to reload hatchets when I picked him up and i was like "oh ######### ive ######### up" guess my muscle memory wanted to press space. Everyone escaped that game.
While playing survivor I've never felt the stress or frustration of playing killer, no matter if I was being camped or tunneled. Survivor gameplay is so chill, the only active moment is when you are in a chase.
-
Is he OP? No.
Do they need to fix the reveal mechanic? Yes.
And ######### those people saying that stalking ia not worth it, do they even play GF at all? Obviously sometimes its better to go for a hit/grab rather than a stalk, but leaning from a cover while stalking takes so little time that you don't lose anything trying. Obviously it depends on the map and the kind of survivors you're going against.
But again, saying his ability is not worth it is wrong IMO, I've gotten a lot of marked stabs and sometimes its better to go for those considering grabs have been broken since ever.
-
Give better rewards, want me to do a basement party? Give me at least 200k BP
-
Play how you want and hide the chat.
One day I got called "tryharder" for killing everyone, then I reminded the survivor that mid game I let the team recover because they were 2 hooked, one down and I was chasing the other one. Let him escape and save his friend so everyone could get more points.
You'll get called camper, tunneler, etc. Regardless of how you play so just do whatever you like
-
The only people that cares about console players are console players
-
For me Demo is a mid tier killer, there are games where I dont use his portals at all and other games where I do. IMO the best thing about him is the shred, can be very powerful and if timed correctly can shorten loops by a lot.
-
I started playing DbD when the pig was released, mainly because my group of friends convinced me to do it. They stopped playing weeks after that and here I am, almost two years later and im still hooked. Despite it flaws, DbD is a great game.

Plague is statistically "balanced" because statistically she goes up against potatoes constantly and gets 4ks, but also goes up against derankers who stomp her. Freddy statistically had about a 40% kill rate before his rework which is why he took so long to be reworked.
Statistics mean nothing in this game since they are so heavily skewed by all the bullshit in this game. What matters is that playing as Huntress feels more RNG dependant than playing Pig with 6 Jigsaw boxes, and playing against Huntress feels more RNG dependant than running Autodidact, Up The Ante, Ace in the Hole, and Technician together. You can't dismiss the fact that Huntress has been broken since launch with "nuuuuu u tok muh Spirut no taek mi huntrass u no want gud killurz?"
Give an actual reason why you want the game to be objectively worse due to bugs. "Nerfs already happened" is not a reason. By that logic Mettle of Man should've remained the way it was on release because Sprint Burst was nerfed. But considering that I have seen some people operating under that ass-backwards logic I wouldn't be surprised if Killer mains thought that way too.
If you think the huntress feels like RNG then you dont know how to play against her.
I play huntress all day and the hatchets that look like they shouldnt have hit are just a small percentage of all you throw in game.
-
Maybe? When I get get facecamped because I looped the killer or something I don't feel like I've lost, I feel like I won that game and just laugh at it lol so IMO is bettee to play normally, if you defeat them that way it will hurt more than by camping

The red stain isn't bigger, it's brighter.
Go check the video and see it for yourself, graphic settings has nothing to do with it.
@yermom said:
Why is your conclusion that they're editing the files? There's no evidence of that, all you know is that the red stains appear bigger in one image and smaller in another. AFAIK this can be altered by the graphics settings.
But messing with ini files and the like should be a bannable offense. It would be strange if it weren't.
Because it was a problem before the Spirit chapter (when it got "fixed") then came back a few patches after that.
It has the same effect (bigger and brighter red stain that clips through walls)
EDIT: it can also be edited to erase the fog, but you won't be seeing any streamer using it.

Are you sure you can't do this by just using low settings? Tru3 seems to be using ultra settings and the other screenshot is low settings.
I play on low and the stain isn't nearly as big
-
@ScottJund said:
im not sure what im looking at that's cheating
The red stain is bigger and clips through most objects, giving the player an unfair advantage specially on mindgame tiles. Its easy to spot if comparing the two images.
@Mc_Harty said:
Nvidia lets you adjust your monitor, you know...
Yes, but there isnt any option that makes the red stain bigger.
-
@arslaN said:
I don't know if you can disable fog or make the red stain larger from the config files. I also modified the config files to disable anti aliasing and ambient occlusion because the devs still refuse to give us basic graphics options and changing config files aren't bannable. These are things you can already disable by just using low settings.
Well, I won't get into details because I don't want more people doing it, but the evidence is there. You can compare the two images or go to the video itself.
-

I hope they don't do to Haddonfield what they did to Badham. I still don't actually like Badham, but now I end up on that map 5x as often as I used to because there are 5 versions of it which each count as a separate map, instead of Badham just being counted as 1 map with 5 different possible configurations.
Are you sure its counted as 5 separated maps instead of just one?
I hate badham as a killer and as a survivor, and I get it pretty often
