that's better?
Could you make it any less obvious it was ayrun and jrm. Besides it wasnt that bad any competent killer could beat them. Too bad the mmr is giving bad killers.

"Unbreakable DS is the small PP survivor build" - You do realize these perks were put into the game specifically because of you killers right? If you didn't camp and tunnel constantly, they wouldn't have even been made.

Let me fix this for you
- Ochido rank F
- Monto rank E
- Truetalent rank D
- Ayrun rank A
- ZubatLEL rank A
- No0b3 rank C
- Jendenise rank - (not playing anymore)
How can anybody think Ochido is a decent or even a god tier looper when he is failing against rank 20 killer all the time? That guy is honestly trash and does more mistakes in his highlight videos then i do on a really bad day.
The only S Tier looper i have ever seen is Fungoose, and even he is debateable.
Ussylis is the only S tier looper maybe insanityhog.

Killer mains tend to complain about survivor meta when they are the ones that cause it to happen in the first place. This also applies to some survivors, but mostly it is just killers that do this. This does not apply to every killer player.
Here is what they do: they camp and tunnel a survivor to death and then, in such a way that it is impossible for that survivor to escape without decisive strike. Then, the fun build survivor that just wanted to have fun realizes that he does not stand a chance because the killers he goes against will camp and tunnel if they are losing. He used decisive strike and borrowed time, and then the killer mains ask why they get decisive strike to be used unfairly.
But think of it: most survivors run decisive strike and borrowed time to counter tunnelers and campers, not to be a dickhead. Maybe a side effect from decisive is that the survivor that was tunneled last game ends up using DS for countering this, but he ends up using it after 59 seconds. So, this is my message: killer mains, if you ever camp or tunnel, fine, it is in the game, but stop bitching when you realize survivors are using counter perks. Survivors do not want to lose instantly without being able to do anything, which is why they run the perk. I, myself, used to avoid meta perks, but really, after getting those free wins strats killers, I decided to switch to use borrowed or decisive.
If you do not tunnel or camp, then you complaints are legit and you deserve to argue. However, if you are a killer main that tunnels and then cry about survivors using counter-play, then you are just entitled to your victory.
****This post can also be applied to survivors that are t-bagging and stuff like that and then complain about camping, but they are more rare, so yea.****
This is literally a copy of the post I made about why DS ub is meta lol

The Deathslinger is a frustrating killer: low terror radius, anti-looping ability, mending ability.
Trying to break from his chain it's worthless, it still ,,hits'' you. In my opinion it should be like this:
-When you succesfully break from his chain you get the mending effect and after you mend yourself you will be fully healed.
-Be able to drop pallets and vault windows while you are chained
Or you can just make his aim down sights a little bit slower, come on, it's way too quick and almost no one have the reaction to dodge.
Long range killers are game changeing, imo they shouldn't be in the game.
Long story short no because "he has no map pressure and his anti loop is all he has". I do agree with some of your ideas not all like vaulting and dropping pallets while chained.

Exactly, she really isn't busted like people make her out to be... and at least she has COUNTERPLAY (unlike Nurse)... not to mention that Spine Chill and Iron Will are great counters to Spirit.
I think if more people played against good Nurses, there would be far more complaints against her than Spirit. I myself am a red rank Nurse main, and I know how helpless one feels when playing against a good Nurse.
Saying x perk does not mean it is a counter. Stridor negates iron will. Spine chill that's cool I guess but then again you have speed addons and when you are injured it wont matter because they will go and pinpoint your location. Also if I said genrushing is fine just run ruin I'd get shot down by killers.

I got blinded last night even though the Survivor wasn’t in my FOV (they started to blind me from the side). They weren’t even close to being in front of me. By the time the blind effect began to cover my screen, I was completely turned around. It was like the game knew I had dodged the blind but decided to give to the Survivor anyways.
I guess they’re broken on both sides.
Thats just perfect timing. Meaning no matter if you spin or look up its guarenteed.

Ok so let's talk about the release of the mmr system and the information we got leading up to it.
Awhile ago the devs shared information regarding the MMR system telling us that the system was working in the background for testing purposes and looked promising.
Either in that same post or a later post we were told that on release, the MMR system would have our scores calculated and we would see a dramatic change in matchmaking.
Fast forward, the system is released and we all know what is currently happening.
In a post we were told that we had to work through 10+ matches for the system to get our scores calculated.
In these two contradictory posts we learn that either we were given false information by accident or on purpose about the system calculating scores in the background.
Ok fine.
Fast forward a few more days and posts are being made with little difference from day one matches from players who focused on increasing their supposed mmr to get better matches.
Here we know that the PR speak is that the devs are working on the system to improve it.
Considering that the system doesn't seem to work at all, any change will be an improvement if it can separate the new players from the vets.
While I can understand the silence and PR speak, in this situation I think it's important for the devs to let us know HOW they're fixing this problem.
Are you working on separating new players from vets or are you working on improving the scoring system to make it settle a score with fewer matches?
Maybe you're trying to do it all at the same time which means everyone will be stuck with this system until you manage to fix various problems.
Speaking only for myself, I would like to know what your priorities are regarding this issue so we as players will know what to expect in the coming weeks or months regarding matchmaking.
I think all of us would like a little transparency regarding what happened with the system and how it's being taken care of.
I would like to understand what's happening rather than assuming.
Look man the devs are known to not be very in touch with the community. I'm tired of going against bad killers. All I can say is that it wont be fixed until 2 more chapters considering their past actions.

First of all, read the thread before commenting. Second, this isn't a complaint about DS being an anti-tunnel perk, I think it being an anti-tunnel perk is absolutely fine, as I am not a fan of tunneling myself. People misunderstand why people complain about DS and say it's because "killers want to tunnel with no consequence". DS is one of 2 broken survivor perks along with object of obsession. Now, I will start.
DS used to be the most overpowered perk in the game, allowing you to get a free escape off of the killers shoulder if you were the obsession. This was nerfed a while ago to the DS we know now.
This newer DS has been called an "anti momentum perk" by the devs, yet it it designed exactly like an anti tunnel perk, are they going to call BT anti momentum next? The problem with it being an anti-tunnel perk, is that it still punishes people for not tunneling. Let me give you a scenario that happened recently in an Oni game.
I hook a Nea in the basement on Haddonfield, later she is unhooked, I see both survivors come out of the basement and go for Adam (the unhooker) I use blood fury and down him quickly, I hook him and find Nea on the roof healing, I down her and pick her up, get striked. I had 2 options in this scenario. 1: pick her up and get striked. 2: leave her on the ground and risk her having unbreakable or being picked up. Both of these situations are a loss for me, even though I didn't tunnel, thus the problem with DS as it is, and how it rewards bad survivors.
My suggested change to DS is to make it a better anti tunnel perk and less of a 60 seconds of immortality perk. Whenever another survivor is injured, hooked, or downed, DS deactivates. This would solve the problem of the 60 seconds of immortality when not tunneling. Now, to buff its anti-tunnel. When you are unhooked, DS activates for 60 seconds, if the killer chases you or downs you within that 60 seconds, D strike's activation is paused until you strike the killer.
Good day.
Just slug them both unbreakable has 1 use and it's still 2 people not doing anything DS is fine.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/179893/simple-but-amazing-change-to-vigil
No, that would be insanely overpowered. Back in the old days of dbd, you were able to recover while running by default, and everyone would use vigil to abuse it and use sprint burst twice in a chase. Vigil is fine as it is.
Its broken because only the best loopers will get use? No it literally says 70% slower and you still dont want it. It was only broken back in the day because it was still 40 seconds of exhaustion and you could recover while running. Vigil is a highly mediocre perk with very little strength it needs a buff.

All those perks have counters lol. DS and BT just dont play toxic, Unbreakable is a rare use perk tbh and its only a ONE TIME USE perk so wow a perk that counters slugging how horrible, DH yeah it can be extremely OP but every other time it just isn't, I'd say only 15% of times is it worth it. Countering NOED could literally cost you the game as taking 2+ minutes out of your game to counter a perk is crazily useless.
Dont forget that perk might not be in use or you are solo and you dont know if your team is cleansing!

So I hate relying on these perks and I think I am going to play perkless again. But Every time I drop these perks I need them, like getting tunneled can be so bad sometimes, but I also get tired of using these perks. Dead hard is really useful and is usually easy to counter, but it makes me rely on that with loops and the same with vault speed build and then DS well im going to drop that because I feel like there is a better build but if I get tunneled ill put it back on. So mainly I want a good build from the forums. I want to be able to focus on looping on living. So I want insight from survivors who've been playing a long time because I only have 800 hours or more so I don't have much experience with testing new perks and their synergies so can I get some help?
Komodo like I said just run stuff that doesnt give you something to fall.back on like dh and vault speed build. DS is fine as it doesnt give you any advantage in loops.

Ever since the slight nerf to toolboxes, I have in my lobbies on average 2 to 3 medkits with nearly best addons. These are a great time-saver for survivors when you play killer 'normally' and not tunnel, etc.
Something small has to be done, so survivors don't get 1 or 2 free heals just by bringing an item.
Maybe limit number of specific item type in lobby? What do you think? Or reduce charges or moderately slow healing speed with medkit
You need flashlights, toolboxes, now we are to medkits come on let us have something.
-
@Gonourakuto said:
Sorry but this killer is really broken there is legit 0 counterplay or mindgame possible in chase againts him , he need actual long animations when he put and remove his sword from the ground , his current animations are so fast you can't do anything , if you drop the pallet or vault the widow you are trying to use in chase he just use his power that he readied in advance and that doenst even slow him down and hit you in the animation and if you don't he can just pull it out instantly from the ground and m1
its doenst even require any skill , whenever you see a survivor getting close to a pallet or widow just ready your power and now there is nothing they can do about it , its just that simple
You are right about that but I can say with his lack of map pressure he remains easy to beat the only problem is he has no cooldown from punishment of the damn it's actually absurd.

There are maybe a small portion of us that don't mori off of first hook, but the frequency of that happening makes survivors too scared to face against any killer that brings a mori, even if it is the one completely fair mori that can't even be used until a 4k is successful.
Aside from 1st hook mori, I suppose no survivor has the patience to find out exactly WHICH mori it even is.
I have actually scared people into DC'ing with Shroud of Separation (Actually a good killer offering on most killers, change my mind).
I recently heard that both Keys and the Mori offerings are being looked at down the line, and I hope that can make the lesser versions be used without unsportsmanlike behavior.
Had a doctor tunnel my friend and immediately mori off first hook. Killers then wonder why survivors dodge mid loading screen.

Why don't I see more people running some of these perks? Let's talk about them in order, they're so fun.
Tenacity: Allows you to crawl basically at walking speed and recover at the same time. Very fun, and actually works quite well and saves you a lot of time.
Detective's hunch: Shows you totems and chests when you do a gen. The best counter to NOED in the game, and works very well in combination with inner strength.
Stake out: meh, I can hit great skill checks anyway.
I love running tenacity if the killer leaves you for like 10 seconds you can crawl away and if you have unbreakable it's a really good synergy.

Survivors have been the one cheating, not the other way around.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2WOPQA26A6JV/its-a-wraith.jpg
Killers are being punished for doing nothing, period. If it were the other way around survivors would be crying.
For years survivors have been using apps to block specific killers and using apps to know which killers they were versing.
Killers have NEVER been able to know which perks the surv are running though, see how it works?
Survivors should be locked in as well the moment you click ready, to enter a lobby. This shouldnt even be a debate, the fact it is shows entitlement and bias on the surv side.
I agree that's a problem but if killers like spirit didnt have a glaring flaw in their design survivors wouldnt be going out of their way to try and dodge it.
Also the question is why do survivors last minute switch? To get use our of their item and not make the killer put on certain things like moris, franklin, etc. Yk it kinda sucks not getting use our of a flashlight because instead of looking at a wall they bring lightborn.
-
@Retromind said:
The title. As a player who plays 70% survivor and 30% killer, it's really annoying when an entitled survivor kills himself on hook the moment he gets outplayed by the killer in first 40 seconds. This is basically a death sentence for a survivor team and an easy game for the killer. Obviously the ranking doesn't matter because it doesn't have any inherent value and it is not hard to get back to a higher rank because the game rewards even the mediocre players for their poor performance. I am really not sure what devs could do to prevent this because at the moment, every second game has this one guy who just straight up kills himself and the game quality suffers dramatically from that.
Nope you can't force me to stay in a game im not having fun in.

No, Billy is a bit better. Oni in blood fury is insanely strong, but he's pretty dependent on having a good early game as an m1 killer AND he has to go out of his way to recharge his power. Billy not only doesn't have that, but he can consistently use his chainsaw with pretty much no downsides, since you have to be extremely careless to ever overheat it. It's more that Oni is easier than Billy is weaker, though they both lose to good survivors anyway so it's no big deal.
When you start getting downs with your power getting blood is easy you are really downplaying oni.

That’s the point it’s the items if they have a key boom they have a good chance to 3-4 man escape even when they screw up and 3 gen
4 medkit means they A insta heal their teammates with it or B can heal but only have one person off gen rather then the normal two
4 toolbox swap means they can now pop the first gen in 30 seconds or less and have fun with stopping it on large maps
4 flashlights means you can have 0 time to react and look down as the blind is instant and can be chained easier
A map in general could mean I have to lobby dodge if I have hex ruin because I don’t want a 5 second cleanse
those are why killers lobby dodge and want time to prepare because none of that is fun or fair play killer with a group that does that you won’t have fun they will all 3 man escape on you if not all 4
You lobby dodge every item jesus christ you arent good.

And yeah, most internet culture revolves around using "he", but anytime someone corrects them, it changes. Nobody has a problem with that.
Calling someone IT is disgusting, regardless of who or what you are. Unless they specifically for some reason want to be called "it".
Theres no argument or semantics here. "Because how english works". There are neutral pronouns. It is not one of them.
