I recently built a pc and after finally experiencing good frames I can say that, the fact the devs left console in such a bad state is absurd. Pc is so smooth and for all my console brethren I feel bad for you. Dbd on pc vs console is night and day. To top it off stretch res, low settings, mouse and keyboard its all great. I love it. I was gonna leave the forums for a couple months but my recent dbd game has made me extremely frustrated. I'm genuinely convinced these devs do not care about survivors. Killer is the easiest its ever been. The majority of survivors are really bad. The only time you should really lose pubs as killer is if you get bad rng. Yes I said it. If I'm gonna be honest here playing a killer like trapper is fun because you have more opportunity to mindgame instead of letting your power end a chase for you. I digress though. Twins needs a nerf. Its day one but hear me out. For some stupid reason victor has an extended horizontal hitbox. This allows him to get so many undeserving hits and making dodging near impossible. You have to cush him to get him away but how can you even dodge him? Nothings safe against victor it feels like another deathslinger to be completely honest. Every hit doesnt touch me. Every killer has bad internet or vpns. Always getting hit through windows, pallets. Deadzones, LT walls. No filler pallets, no jungle gyms. I feel like I'm at an incredible disadvantage when solo survivor. I uploaded a video where I ran the killer for 5 minutes and only a single gen was done. Also in this game a survivor had disconnected. Solo survivor is just unfun . I'm never matched up with players that are good or as good as me. When you become injure yourself character will not turn their body. As killer this made it easier to tell when to certain things like make different looping paths when you noticed the survivor not paying attention. As survivor I just like the aesthetic? I find it very hard to believe the devs are "survivor sided" or have a "survivor bias." I get killers need buffs and some killers need reworks but damn stuff on the killer side needs nerfs as well. 1 nerf does not mean the devs care more about the survivors. Alright so gonna edit this to make more sense. 1. I want to remove DS for about 1 month not a week. This is to showcase why tunneling as a whole needs to be looked at and not have a band aid perk fix. 2. I feel like DS being a perk to stop tunneling was fine as it had an added benefit but now that its most likely only gonna stop tunneling I see no reason for it to he a perk. Titles says it all we cant have a consistent weekly bug fix. So many bugs out right now. Notably the DS and hook bug. Sounds are no longer directional. Pretty much a good spirit cant insta kill you if you dont have iron will and a stridor spirit cant insta kill you no matter what. Now all other sounds made by survivors are extremely loud well loud enough. This way iron will doesn't super counter non stridor spirits. The meta will never change becuase people either keep nerfing non meta perks or dont want to buff non meta perks. So I was streaming and I got 3 stridor spirits in a row one bad and one I got 2 games in a row. One was running ebony and the best addons movement speed and duration. Mind you this spirit has a good headset and clearly is used to stridor audio and pinpoint tracking. So after experiencing bad medium vaults then learning that the hitbox stays at the place you vaulted for an extra second! Alright so either fix medium vault hitboxes or revert back to an earlier patch that made fast vaulting possible with little space. Its inconsistent when it works it works great no unfair hits I can actually juke the killer kinda now. But other time is I'm still taking steps and the killers weapon isnt touching me. Mind you always on green ping. For the most part it's making the game way more healthy for survivors and its making me enjoy playing it more.
