I am on the PTB right now, and all i can say is: Is this a little late april fools joke?? It has to be, right?
First game i play: Gas Heaven
There is 1 (ONE) single pallet on the whole middle of the map! One!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/230/4H3MVCDIRVWD.jpg
The rest of it is a deadzone with absolutly nothing but here and there some trash!
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/101/KAWZ4X5O95AK.jpg
1 Pallet in the garage
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/235/17S8ZEX379VI.jpg
1 more pallet between killershack and deadzone
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/673/KZ4WVS1QIRA6.jpg
4 Jungle Gyms with 1 pallet each
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/384/6O5O0ZJKTNHG.jpg
And the Killer shack pallet.
8 pallets on the whole map. Are we good? I mean, ARE WE GOOD? I honestly have to ask without sarkasm. Have you forgot to add the pallets in those silly big deadzones and the silly big middle of the map (2 gens by the way... 1 pallet... )
This is even worse then i have expected, and i thought it will be aweful.
2Nd Game: Gas Heaven again
This time i count 7 pallets! And most of them are even weaker then before.
3rd Game: Thompson House
I am already really frustrated, so i stopped counting pallets but it looks like more or less the same ammount. All i can say at this point is that the map looks really really aweful, even worse then the old thompson house. It feels squeezed, not well designed at all.
I might try out a few more games after a break, but if this goes on like Thompson and Gas Heaven.. ahhm well... good luck with your next game devs. At least you know how you killed it.
they are balancing the game by killing solo queue and bad swf. will only last good swf that can loop without dropping pallets.

what I want:
- no more chapters untill all bugs fixed
- crossplay
- map balance
- no more perk tiers
- legion deleted
-
######### is sans?

"one teammate crouched 4 meters from a hooked player until the killer frees literally across the map before making the save" isn't a bad strategy, tbh. the furthest the killer is, the less likely is he comes back to the hook. there is no need to rush unhooks.
-
it never happened to me. interesting, right?

you can do whatever you want, you can choose not to help the old lady across the street, you can choose to throw that finished can of cola on the streets rather then keeping it with you and throwing it in a garbage bin later.
People in general will judge you for your actions but its your choice so do what you feel is the right thing to do.
1st of all, people's judgement isn't what you are. 2nd, throwing garbage on the streets makes you an shole, playing the game as it is intended to be played, don't. survivors complain too much about situations they/their teamates put themselves on. and I'm talking from a main solo survivor pov.

Do people really not expect the killer to come straight back to the hook when someone gets rescued? Is that a thing now? I always assume that the killer will come straight back the moment I unhook someone unless they're already in a chase, the same way I assume a killer will beeline towards an exploded generator if they're not busy elsewhere, because that's where the survivors are. It's simply logical.
As for the tunnelling thing, that's up to you. Sometimes I will pretend I didn't see the unhooked guy out of mercy, but you definitely shouldn't feel obliged to do that, and no one else should give you crap for not doing it.
they do. as you can notice on post game chat or forums. including this thread.

Wooo only one killer perk 😑, when there is more useless killer perks
but there are also more viable killer perks. viable survivor perks fit in two hands

There is nothing in this game worse than being facecamped. Literally NOTHING! "Just do gens!" Okay you're still forcing one player to depip and lose all fun in the game and thats the problem! There's no counter for it and its ridiculous like seriously make it bannable I just wanna have fun in this game and this is the third time today I've gotten face camped on first hook when there is 3+ gens still remaining :/
forcing one player to depip and lose all fun? forcing all survivor, since rushing generators also isn't fun.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
define "winning" pls
not being camped nor being tunelled out of the hook

@XombieRocker said:
Unfortunately, because he's slow, you have 2 choices once you hook somebody:
- Go to a gen and hope that a survivor is there. Whether you find someone or not, you have 100% given up on the survivor on the hook. If there wasn't anybody at the gen you chose, too bad, the person you hooked is gone and healed and you will have to hit them twice again.
- Stay nearby to try and get the rescuer or the hooked survivor. With the speargun, it's pretty easy to reel in the survivor as they stop for the rescue. It's a pretty good way to snowball. Actually because he's so slow, it's the only way to reliably snowball. Same with huntress. If you just leave the hook, you are 100% letting the person get rescued and healed. You can't check a gen and double back to get somebody while they're still injured. Unless you have some kind of perk like Devour, there's no reason to stray too far from the hook.
So those're your choices, either let every survivor get rescued and healed (thus ensuring longer chases to down them again) or stay near the hook to spear rescuers.
Same with Huntress? You don't know too many main Huntresses, do you? A good Huntress can destroy a survivor team despite of her movement speed. A good one.

Rank really doesn't matter. For example, I've been playing for about 1.5 - 2 years. Since I don't play this like it's a job, I'm often in lower ranks but my skills are about mid-rank. Stop relying on "rank" to determine someone's skill because some people do play other games and take breaks from DBD. Fundamental flaw with this community is relying on arbitrary numbers to assume someone else's skill level.
Ok, he is a GOD rank 20 survivor who steps in a bear trap positioned in the clearest position in the map. Did you watch his survivor gameplay? He plays like a total potato. The killer were absolutelly clueless about the game and he still got downed! You are the one relying on arbitrary bs to assume he is not a potato.
-
play fortnite, fella
-
You are a rank 20 survivor, your opinion means absolutelly nothing, I'm sorry. I'm not saying it is harder than playing killer, it's different. Try playing solo queue and grow you some survivor skills to understando the difference. Spoiler Alert: Being good isn't enough to survive, you depend on other survivors and the kiler making mistakes, like tunelling the best looper.
-
@Alexandra said:
Really disagree with this. I enjoy the grind.
Are you main killer? What is your rank as killer? How many gameplay hours do you have? How many maxed killers do you have? Just to understand your preference...
-
@Peanits @PatBrutal, still waiting
-
cringe....
-
do not expect to win against 4 better players, just complain about matchmaking instead
-
it's hapenning here too sometimes. Yesterday I gave up playing because of lag on both sides. Today Survivors complaining about lag in a game I was Killer, but playing survivors I didn't have lag yet
-
@Peanits @PatBrutal, anybody? Your opinion would be appreciated. Ty...
-
Do you want a bug fix? Here, get this new killer and survivor nobody asked for.

If you really think about it, this is an interesting and good idea.
I agree, perk tiers should go. Instead, make perks cost more. I'd say 5000 BP each, or something. Or 6000 if the tier 3 variant is what would stay in the final version.
Totally! With 9k per perk or even more expensive, it would still be worth, since the cost per tier isn't only the cost per each tier, but the cost per each bloodweb level you have to grind through.
-
@Joelwino said:
we need either this or a permanent boost to bloodpoint gain, this isn't 2017 anymore
I think reducing from 3 tiers to 1 would make more sense since we would have to spend less bloodweb levels to reach the complete perk we need. Only boosting BP wouldn't be enough. It would be needed to boost like 3x or more, idk. Also, the BP cap (another cheap mechanic) would need to go, too, which isn't going to happen apparently.
-
@Dolls said:
I like the grind. You dont need every perk. Just unlock what you need from survivor or store and reduce trash perks from being built upon.
You can't "just unlock what you need" since the perks you get on the bloodweb are RNG. At least it SHOULD be, but the entity is really insistent with perks you don't want. Also, the point here is about the tiers! Sometimes you get the perk you needed, but not the tier you needed. For example, tier 1 Whispers is useless.
-
can you STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE MATCHMAKING?
-
when his dream world is not overheating my pc, I agree
-
I hope that working from home restrict bhvr from doing new content, compelling them to bug fix only.

The bloodrush event is only a week, I suggest you skip playing till its over. It attracts a den of scum and villainy usually players who dont play killer that much but will do so out of spite.
the event is 3 weeks longs and the situations was happening before the event

That's a good question. 2x BP is great and all, but a lot of people jump on that and farm as much as possible. Farming matches are fine if you're just after the points, but they really ruin the game for people who want to play the game normally. It's normally not a big deal since they're only four days long, but since this one is three weeks long, we don't want it to get in the way of normal gameplay for that long.
I really don't get people who want to farm. Go play killer with bbq and even being completely potato you will get more BP than farming as survivor.
-
I'm not really sure of the numbers, but it feels like NEVER. I'm always being camped or tunelled out of the hook.
-
why not extra 100% as always?
-
Definitely the most toxic ways of playing are the most effective in this game. I'm running a little slug experiment and collecting some data that I'll be sharing in the future.
-
Please, don't speak despacito

It's a strong loop.
Survivors got lucky with rng. Deal with it.
They need to bring back more double pallets any way.
as you can see, I was survivor in both of the games, nothing to be dealth with. and I'm pretty sure most people will disagree with the last statement...

2 times in 2 days. there must be something wrong with the pallet placing algorithm

I force 3 gens against solo and SWFs all the time. It's not difficult to do as long as you protect the gens you want.. Certain maps make it nearly impossible however
sweaty swf is not the same as swf. it's not because you've lost for a swf that they are sweaty. just saying...
-
sweaty 4 man swf being 3 gened? ok...

Nah legion is fine if you don’t get one that thinks that they should constantly be in feral Frenzy
He is supposed to be played that way, why would anybody play them differently?
-
because people like you care. just don't give a f and less players will act like d
-
did legion retire? this crown is theirs
-
bond is the best replacement for selfcare. healing perks are useless against killers like legion and plague, being a lost perk slot. bond help you finding other survivors to heal you, survivors to coop on gens, loops to avoid while being chased (so you don't interrupt gens), etc.
-
IMO the easiest killer to play is Freddy, but if you liked Doctor, go ahead and keep playing him :)
-
medkit, resilience, bottany knowledge, there are situations where selfcaring is faster than being healed by others. if the person don't stop selfcaring, just move on to the nearest gen, or you will be the useless one.

These reports can also be abused.
let's not incorporate our mains? you're not as "GENIUS" as meg, please...

That's normal. You're supposed to move your scope slower after aiming. Though it really isn't that much of a disadvantage even if they take a sharp turn since worse case scenario, it takes less than a second to stop aiming, turn, and start aiming again.
ty for your answer and sugestion, I've been suffering to aim right :)
