I am no noob but there is a thing that confuses me. A few day's ago i played against a Bubba. While he was hunting me i jumped throu a window. I was already on the other side of it and theoretically far out of reach. He got me while the last frames of the vault animation played out and i already stood on the other side. I have noticed similar things on other killers. Hag for example is great on hitting survivors late throu their vaulting animation.
When i play killer however, when i try to hit the survivor throu the window, unless it's a straight shot or i am cery close, i almost always hit the window frame. While other killers seem to get these shots, i can not figure out how. I run around the wall -Survivor starts vaulting -I go into launch attack while turning towards the window and hit the window frame or miss. Is there a trick to get these shots right? Like a specific hitbox window i need to hit?
No video footage, but i guess you know what i mean. Im getting kinda annoyed by this pling sound everytime i play Doc. In loops im pretty good at hitting survivors on the last frame while he has already dropped the pallet. Not so on windows.
It used to be worse, and yes I know all too well of this. If the survivor vaults the window and moves slightly further than where they vaulted, they can't get hit. There kind of is a trick, and it is to aim a little upwards of the window so you hit past it. However, you probably shouldn't attempt it unless you know exactly how far your lunge range is.

They all seem painfully weak right now... What are the various ways you can...
- Buff the Stealth Killers directly
- Buff/Nerf various perks that counter these killers
- Change how "Undetectable" works/is countered
- Make them more powerful in chases?
Make spine chill and premonition that either have a reduced range to something low such as 16 - 8 meters when a killer has the "undetectable" status effect so they are only less effective against stealth killers.
Refine the revealing of ghostface's mechanic (please I am tired of going against survivors with x-ray vision who reveal me through walls)
"Make Myers gain a huge amount of stalk when hitting a survivor only in tier 1. All addons that effect stalking speed instead only effect tier 2. Note. This idea OS from Otz." ~ DrSlaughter22 I agree with this change
Have the wraith have a range of 16 meters from which he can then be seen when invisible, further than that he should be completely invisible. Got this from "Not Otzdarva".
How would you make them more powerful in chases? I am not sure, I will see if I can find anyone else's ideas. I do think that Myers should have more power in tier 3 though.

This game has seriously devolved into a toxic dumpster fire...I remember when I first started playing Dbd thinking, 'There's no other game quite like this' and having fun win or lose (mostly lose lol). It seems nobody plays this for fun anymore, it's just one side trying to end the round as quickly as possible with no regard for the other side whether it be Survivors pounding out gens in 4 minutes, Survivors sandbagging teammates for their own amusement, Killers facecamping and Mori'ing in the first two minutes of the match, Killers tunneling and/or slugging every hook they get...the list could go on for pages but you get the point. The janky spaghetti code this game is built on spews tons of bugs with every update and devs just keep piling on the sauce to cover it up instead of actually fixing the issues despite the numerous complaints but hey, give us $15 dollars for a skin...yeah right, eat my shorts. I know several of you 'know-it-alls' on these forums are just gonna say something along the lines of 'You won't be missed' and you can save it, I don't care because people like you are the problem. In the end, I feel this post is pointless but regardless, just wanted to say my piece before I left. Deuces.
It is sad to hear another player leave the game because of the toxicity. However if you feel the need to leave, then it is fine. Even long-time veterans of the game take breaks out of frustration or even leave completely. Just know that not everyone is toxic and there are people out there who make the game fun for everyone instead of mori-ing off first hook and griefing teammates.

Bit more of an advanced question for you to test you: what's a good killer for a CONSOLE player to rank up with quickly that can be played without add-ons?
My rank slipped a bit because I focused on Survivor archives and slaughtering Rank 20's who literally have no clue just isn't fun. There is no thrill because there is no hunt.
Freddy for sure, maybe doctor if you know him well. Freddy is a strong killer and is relatively simple with few addons that are great such as the paint brush or cooldown addons. Keep in mind however, that the ranking in this game really is not at its best, meaning it hardly works properly if at all. He doesn't require much mechanical skill like nurse or huntress as well. So I would recommend Freddy and maybe the doctor. I say maybe the doctor because his shock therapy is strong and his addons are pretty good for the most part.

I don't have many perks 'cause I just prestiged her and she's level 32. I guess I could switch Thana and Nurse's for Ruin & Undying though.
As a person who has played the game for 1500+ hours on both killers and survivors, I can definitely say that there are many other perks that work way better (not that these were horrible).
Corrupt intervention
BBQ and chili (or thrilling tremors)
Sloppy butcher
Pop goes the weasel
(Make sure you know what the perk really does, I am mostly explaining how it helps you.)
Corrupt intervention will help you in the early game and push survivors towards you which is good on Spirit especially since she doesn't have too much leverage in the 1 vs 2+ scenario (her 1 v 1 chase potential is insane when you become skillful with her).
BBQ and chili or thrilling tremors will help you locate survivors who are on gens and will give you a slight bit of stall of 16 seconds if they are not on the generator.
Sloppy butcher will make it harder to stay healthy and make survivors waste a little bit more time not doing generators, which can be crippling to them against the Spirit since her 1 v 1 is so strong.
Pop goes the weasel will help you regress gens effectively (-25% gen progress when kicking a gen while in use) and is a godly perk on any killer, really.
What I will say though is that you could replace sloppy butcher with stridor because it counters iron will. However, stridor make it more difficult to track survivors while phasing because they sound closer than they actually are and is actually harder to use if you are a baby spirit. Then again, if you become skilled with using it, survivors can do just about nothing to get away from you. Just keep in mind that you will have to adjust when using it.
Also make sure you have good headphones. If they aren't that great or have no surround sound, try enabling it using windows.

When this combo first hit live everyone was panicking. It’s OP, it’s unfair, it has to be nerfed.
I admit that first week it was really good. The totems lasted all game and survivors were getting shredded
The past week though I’m really seeing how well survivors have adapted. For me Undying goes first 90% of the time which is astounding if it isn’t intentional, but also both perks are fairly quickly removed from the game for me now. In week 1 the Ruin would last all game but now it’s only a couple of minutes before I’m 2 perk slots down.
In addition its just not the best combo for every killer. Someone like Hillbilly might be able to make great use but on a less mobile killer and especially on larger maps you just can’t control every single generator enough for Ruin to do some work. Its also hard to determine how much regression Ruin is doing. Sometimes you’ll have gens completely regress, sometimes there’s always a survivor to back it up anytime you pressure one off it.
I don’t think it’s the be all and end all combo that people first thought it was. Not even with Tinkerer. Personally I’m already starting to ditch it on a number of killers.
Yeah, for already experienced killers who can pressure survivors without it, it is kind of unfair.

Sorry this is going to be a personal rant. I just have to vent. This is my first post, since I usually just lurk.
I've been playing this game for 150 hours. Mostly as survivor, and I feel it's important (to me) that everyone has fun the game - including the killer. I don't get too tilted when I play, and I'm fine losing. So I decided to use perks I think are fun and experiment with builds - and sure I have had a few rough games, but it was good fun.
However, tonight I got tunnelled hardcore. I'm fine if I'm caught again because other peeps are out of reach, but this really annoyed me. Maybe it was the straw that broke the camels back, but I've realised that some people play this game to win than to have fun.
That game was easily the most unfun session I've played. Never again. DS is staying in my survivor builds going forward.
Not being rude, but you are just clearly inexperienced. I say you just keep playing the way you really want to. I am sure that after you play the game for much longer, you won't need to use DS because you will be able to deal with tunneling by wasting most of the killers' time. When a killer tries to tunnel you until death, it is still possible to outplay them and escape. Learn how to be more efficient as survivor for really good looping and make better decisions. Kindred is highly recommended when playing solo for survivor efficiency. Being efficient as a survivor when being tunneled can really screw the killer over. You can't always escape tunneling, but you can do the best you can so that your team can get gens done during that time.
-
It is usually better to go after the savior. However, if you really want to tunnel the person on the hook, wait out the 15 seconds they have while blocking pallets and windows and then smack. But yeah, it sucks I have felt the pain.

These side effects have long been triumphed by exhaustion and mangled I thought these buffs could help them hence buffing some perks and add-ons.
1. Blindness it should be you no longer see any bubble notifications hooks and gens. This makes hook rescues harder and might trick survivors into three gen situations. While you are downed you can only see three meters around you. While otherwise when not in the dying state you can only see half as far this could make perks like Third Seal and knockout be a lot better. This can make SWF less coordinated.
2. Hemmorhage while effected by hemmorhage after 30 seconds you're hindered because well blood loss. And after 1:30 if you're not healed you'll be in the dying state. And you'll bleed out faster. This can buff hemmorhage add-ons and blood echo and snowballing. Effect timer stops in chase.
My ideas to buff these effects voice disagreements and concerns.
I feel like the hemorrhage effect shouldn't have the the down part and should be reduced to 1 minute before the survivor is affected by hindered.
The blindness buff seems good, but will definitely need to be fine tuned to not be overwhelmingly powerful.
These buffs do look pretty good though.

I want to introduce a friend to dbd but honestly im afraid she will think its boring. Honestly sitting on gens half of the game and not knowing how to loop and getting downed doenst seem fun. And on top of that we would be playing against higher rank killers since im rank 2. But i dont know if i should tell her how to loop and play the game properly cuz that maybe would suck the fun out of it.
What should i do?

I'm majorly a solo queue and I share some sentiments that some of you have put in here.
I like it, it's fun and I enjoy it because I never know what I'm going to get. Sometimes you get a super uncoordinated team and nothing will get done. Sometimes you get campers or tunnellers and the game will go super-slowly as I die on the first few minutes with 3k of bloodpoints. Sometimes, you will get an incredible well-assembled team and they will gen-rush the poor killer right off the bat. It's a gamble always.
Lately, I've gotten some bad experiences with toxic survivors blasting at me on chat for whatever reason on higher ranks like they expect me to know how to do everything -- gen-rushing, looping the killer, somehow knowing where they are so I don't accidentally bring the killer to them...
Nevertheless, it does not deter my experience with the game in general. Just deters my intent to socialise with other players. I must also say me experience with the forum has been cordial, everyone I've talked to has been a good sport.

I'd suggest Better Together as a possible change for Bond. That way you can highlight your location to other survivors when fixing a generator to other players, but it's a give or take. I do like your idea overall. I might try it one of these days, thank you!
I can see what you mean with better together, but bond is still superior. For example, you could just go over and gesture someone who is new, such as a baby dweet to come follow you. It also gives you more information on what your teammates are doing. Or.. maybe you could bring any map with a glass bead to let everyone know where you are (baby dweets love the light btw) it always works for me when I see a default dwight in my lobby. You could then replace bond with spine chill. It is up to you what you would like to try out.

I think it has potential but I'm afraid of a future nerve, so I'll focus on the Nurse first, it has already been nerve.
In fact I'm falling in love with the Nurse again because she doesn't care about loops, or obstacles. For basic speed I know what you're talking about and you're right, but after understanding its power I've learned to stay close to the survivors, in fact it's all about power. Her power is used to catch, patrol, and break loops... I understand why she got nervous, it's really powerful!
You give me tips for the Spirit, I would like to give you some too... well, at least it's just a technique, I'm very bad at generators and management, but now i can use his power.
Phase 1
1: getting closer
2 : to prepare oneself has anticipated, behind a wall, guess where the survivor will go, calculate his speed of movement, his methods, and his style
3: teleport (brain, during teleportation, left then right, in a straight line, vice versa)
4: and touch
Phase 2
1: get closer (very close)
2 : teleport very quickly to the left right, or right left but do not hit, you have to make him believe that you are useless.
3: reteleport in a straight line and hit
Phase 3
1: getting closer
2: Teleport 1 time to the survivor and maintain pressure to a pallet or window.
3 : Strike or grab
Note : you must touch, the first or second time, if after three times you haven't touched anyone it's because you're going too fast...
When the survivor is ashore you must show that you have mastered your teleportation, others must fear you. When you are far from the slug survivor, teleporting right on top of him, it impresses because they didn't come for me right away, even after NOED exploded. You really have to show that you are calm, when slugging, don't move your character calmly at slow speed and turn your head as slowly as possible. Calculate the number of survivors around you, calculate the Paintball effect during the teleportation. By force, it becomes a habit and you put in the mile unintentionally sometimes. The advantage of the Nurse is that she doesn't care about obstacles.
You're right, addons are great but without them it's better (at the beginning).
Thank you for you tips Nurse and Spirit !🤗
you're welcome, also I am not sure how much would change if she was nerfed. Not otzdarva had a stream where he proposed that every second while you are phasing, the survivor could see a glimpse of where you are at. But then again, a nerf for the spirit is probably not going to happen for a while so I would continue to enjoy the spirit without worrying about a nerf.

He's not even the best killer in the game,he's mid tier at least.
Killers better than doctor in my opinion:Oni,Spirit,Freddy,Hag,Pyramid Head, just to name a few.
There are some sick combos you can pull with doc,for example the double calm addon with distressing terror radius on a map like the game, but besides these situational maps and builds,he is definetly not on the level of the killers I mentioned especially on big maps.I love playing doc and even verse againts him,I dont understand the hate he receives then the killers I mentioned above exist.
The shock attack is what people don't like, the static blast as well. The shock attack if mastered, can shut down loops (making them take a hit) and force survivors to drop pallets early and the static blast reveals their location. They are just salty most of the time and I think doctor is in a good spot right now, not too strong and not too weak.

Hello everybody,
It's done, I have mastered Nurse and Spirit!
Nurse, I was on Yamaoka against a SWF team. I patrolled between the generators and found the perfect candidate to train! He was gifted, a very good looper! At one point I had a kind of understanding, I read his thoughts, I anticipated, I thought exactly like him! Without knowing where he was I was teleporting on him. I managed to put him down, the others came around me and there was general carnage... I touched everyone without even knowing where I was going, I was going fast. I slugged the looper, I knocked down 2 other survivors very quickly and waited for the last one. He managed to heal the two others and they made the last generator, they came back and I started to teleport myself by not missing any shot, NO, it lasted a long time but I let everyone out to celebrate and they were very respectful that means they found me strong in antiloop!
Spirit, last night on LAB I had a SWF team. They were loopers... very good loopers but very toxic! Its power is quite fun in the sense that you can appear in the opposite direction, they usually don't expect it. At each phase it was a carnage, I could predict 9/10 of the time the displacement as with the nurse. Same situation as the nurse but more difficult! Unfortunately when the power recharges it's a big waste of time, but the power is so much fun, I imagine the survivors jumpscare and I really like it! I killed everyone (unintentionally).
1 : I don't master the defense of the generators I'm almost useless, because I'm always afraid I won't find a survivor if I leave the hock, so I camp but I don't tunnel
2: I'm stuck between Nurse and Spirit, can someone give me the positive and negative of the two characters, so that I can form a definitive opinion? Tips and tricks are welcome too!
Thank you so much all and have a good day ! 🤗
I think spirit is incredibly fun and I happen to be very skilled with her too.
Nurse I used to be really good at but I have barely played her lately so idk.
The nurses only weaknesses would be here base movement speed being 5% slower than survivors (just about) and her recharge time (kinda).
The spirit's weakness is her 110% movement speed. I would say the sound for her is very hard to get used to especially against survivors with iron will. But this is not a weakness; rather an obstacle to learn to play around.
The only tips I have for nurse is to remember your ABB (From Bricky the youtuber) "always be blinking" to refine your skills with her blink, and never really use addons until you completely understand her power. The second tip is to use one blink to close distance on the survivors and the second to secure a hit (very effective).
Base stats: 95% movement speed (most likely; confirm this for yourself)
Base max range with first blink: 20 meters + 8 meters per chain blink (the chain blink is not that great anymore)
Base fatigue: + .5 seconds of fatigue every chain blink used (not really important to know anymore)
For spirit I know quite a few things, unless you are about to down a survivor NEVER use the full duration of your power. This way you can constantly be phasing keeping the survivors confused. Learn the little speed boost from your post-phase you retain for half a second (.5) seconds at default after you stop phasing. During the post-phase speed burst, your lunge is increased a little bit. The addons that increase the duration of your post-phase speed boost (but more importantly the lunge) include the "Wakizashi Saya" and "Katana Tsuba".
Wakizashi Saya - .3 second increase in post-phase reappearance time (the speed boost duration after coming out of phase)
Katana Tsuba - .2 second increase in post-phase reappearance time
Playstyle tips:
- Like I said before, never use the full duration of your power unless you are sure you can down someone with it. This will make sure you always have your power ready.
- Learn how far 24 meters is, that will always be how long the woosh sound radius is. This cannot be changed no matter the current state of your terror radius.
- If a survivor is in your terror radius, they can't hear the whoosh sound when you phase. This can get you some grabs off of gens if you get them on the edge of your terror radius, it is a beautiful sight to see.
- If you see a survivor hiding, look away and then start the phase channel up. Afterwards, go over to the hiding spot of the survivor and make them soil their pants by hitting them. (if they are in your terror radius)
- For movement (such as after your hook a survivor), use half of your phase power duration for movement at most. It helps you be even more unpredictable and helps against object of obsession users.
- Try to never start your phase looking in the direction you are facing. This makes you more unpredictable, which is what spirit is about at least for now.
- To close distance on a short loop, stand in the middle of the pallet so when you use your phase your husk blocks the survivor from dropping the pallet. Use the post-phase lunge (longer lunge) and speed burst to hit the survivor, keep in mind good survivors will probably start to walk away.
- Duration over recovery. For some reason, duration addons on spirit also make her recovery faster too.
That is about it. A good addon setup (and my personal favorite) is the Wakizashi Saya bloody hair brooch. Shorter channel time is GREAT and so is the lunge from the burst addon. It is insanely good on her.
Build for the spirit:
Corrupt intervention, BBQ and chili, sloppy butcher, and PGTW are fantastic on her. (Yes, stridor would be great. However it is very confusing and I personally don't use it at all and do just fine.)
I believe the strongest addon combo is my personal favorite, the wakizashi saya and bloody hair brooch. With the shorter channel time and longer burst out of phasing, you can use your power constantly for mobility by using only half to be very sporadic.
Try it out and tell me what you think. I hope this helps.

SPECIAL ABILITY: STATIC BLAST
Press and hold the Active Ability button to perform a Static Blast, causing all Survivors within The Doctor's terror radius to scream.
activating STATIC BLAST has a 20% chance to crash the game of the survivors, as well as freezing their games for 2 seconds.
Iridescent king buff: considerably increases the chance of survivors crashing upon activating static blast.
lol i know, it would be so cool though. Too bad people will probably have a potato PC. Just an idea.

So what did the Devs did in this Patch?
Buffing Thana (Good)
Fix The Executioner "Loop mindgame" (Good)
Trail of Torment Extrem buff (good)
The other perk buffs (all good, ok not Technician but still)
Pop Nerf (was maybe needed)
So why do you think the Devs can't belance the game again?
In my Opinion this show us that the devs can and are willing to belance this game for our fun.
They did buff many things, but the buffs were mostly meh. They could have done more and also keep in mind that people are incredibly hard on the devs; usually because they are just overreacting. I believe things like the pop nerf were okay imo. But the fact that they didn't nerf something like DS was a bit irritating. Also keep in mind that people tend to overreact with this game.

First up, I know how bait-y this will sound, but I'm genuinely curious:
The main argument against him I keep seeing is how 'he's boring too face' usually with the explanation that you can not have 'interactive chases' against him.
So, I do wonder:
Facing a killer that requires you to shake up your gameplay is 'boring' while the same routine (chasing, juking, looping, etc) for every killer on every map isn't?
I really don't get the logic here.
Again, I see people argue that 'the chases are the most fun part' as if that is a universal truth, and as if everyone who plays sneakily, gets their objectives done etc is a bad player and not welcome in the community.
That's the impression I am getting each time people call for a massive nerf for Caleb, if not his full removal from the game.
People say he is boring because there is no counter to him other than hoping he misses. The reason is because his ADS time is practically instant, meaning if they know how to play him then there is really nothing you can do except hope he loses you or misses his shots. You can never really dodge his shots unless you have very good reactions and you are at the edge of his range. Even then it is kinda hard if he is somewhat good. Again, he is boring because you have to play immersed against a good deathslinger and always be making distance on him which is pretty stale gameplay IMO.

I remember this games community used to be so fun and enjoyable that you had fun even if you lost a progress pip. Now it's nothing but tunneling, noed, potato survivers, and toxic survivors. Did a big majority of the chill player base leave? Every now and then I get good teammates and non toxic killers and survivors, but where did all the fun go? 9 times out of 10 when I manage to get another PC player as a teammate I'll tell them what perks I have and they still won't work together or they'll purposely deni me unhooks despite me having we'll make it. I just try to be a good teammate and be the medic, but I just get people that wanna wait while others do the work or they blame me for the loss even tho I'm the only one trying to unhook when the killer isn't right there. I feel like maybe I need to take a break from this game, but this is what most of the people I play he's with play.
I don't ever remember a time where the community was nice and friendly, but maybe you were here before me. I honestly just ignore people like this, they take the game WAY too seriously. Just laugh at people who blame you for a loss and if you can't handle their babbling then just join another game and don't let it get to you. If you feel you need to take a break from the game go ahead. I have taken a two week break from this game due to just being incredibly unlucky by playing with people who are from mars and their overwhelming laggy games. Also, it sounds like you do alright in the game just being the medic. There are good times though, you will meet a bunch of cool people throughout the game who aren't toxic.

I love to run this is not happening, camaraderie, lightweight, and up the ante just some random perks like its so much fun to just play the game, I don't get frustrated when teammates leave because whats me dying really gonna do to me make me miss a few blood points, make me lose a pip to my rank, like I dont care anymore solo queue is fun, again though I swear I'm not crazy
Agreed, as someone who mainly solo queues (not because I don't have friends, it is just that they don't like the game nearly as much as me and aren't the best at it), it is funny when you play with baby dweets. Usually, I end up dying trying to help them escape by taking one too many hits (they still don't get out unless the rest of the team is decent). However, it can be frustrating to play sometimes because of the same reason. Sometimes I just feel like winning and would like to play an intense game, but then a no mither david joins and dc's on first down. But yes, just learn to enjoy solo queue. A build I recommend for solo queue is prove thyself, bond, kindred, and we'll make it. I have a discussion that explains a little about why I chose these perks and what they will help you with.

The Doc change would be cool, but it might also be kind of intensive for devices. Personally, I would prefer they fixed the heartbeat first so that you can actually hear it when he's using anything that extends his TR, then move onto cosmetic changes
Yeah, that is the only downside that I thought about that. Maybe for the heartbeat they could make it have a deeper bass sound to make it more noticeable.

trapper is in a bad spot right now, weak basekit due to 1 trap capacity, weak early game, forced to set up for mid-late game but even then it might not be enough, having survivors step into bear traps especially injured and usually not get punished by his only power sucks. He needs a buff
@Bulbasaur2008 said:
Bear traps sole purpose is to break bones, or not let prey escape in the first place. It is logical to apply slow, but it would be too severe for the game balance. Look how many killers/add-ons and perks apply slow. Maybe 5 overall, because it is soo good. And 5% does not seem like much, but look at perk Hope - 7% at level 3. That is huge boost although it seems like a trash, so making 5% slow whenever survivor free itself from a trap is the level of iridescent add-on. Besides, trapper does not really have problems with chasing - he has 4.6 speed.
I am aware of how impactful a measly 5% movement speed increase or decrease is, but I agree with @bjorksnas. Trapper is one of the weaker killers in the game right now and his base kit is very weak and very easy to counter. But then again, you are right in a way. He is a 4.6 (115%) movement speed killer. So what about if he had a 10-15 second duration for this? Would it be too weak or unnecessary?

It should be at the top right in the form of the endurance symbol for 8 seconds when you use it.

I'll admit this. I had a few bad nights of playing about 2 months ago. Pretty toxic after-game chat as both survivor and killer and it was all on me just being a salty gamer. Ended up getting a 3 day ban for chat abuse.
Just saying the report does work but there are a lot of fake/false reporting and BHVR staff is limited so it takes time to hand out a justified ban.
I do want them to give us a way to record the games as an in-game concept. Letting us go back and watch the previous game we played if we stayed logged in. This would help remove some of the hackers that have cropped up again.
Anecdotal but while playing killer I had a Feng Min that was blatantly hacking. She was fast vaulting from a complete stand still as well as swapping lockers next to each other without exiting. When game ended I realized my capture card faulted out and didn't record the game despite the obvious visuals. All I could do was report and not much else which means they will go on to hack again until someone manages to get vid evidence.
oof

I'm not sure I could ever fully describe how frustrating it is to be playing killer, go in for a juicy swing on a survivor that looks like a guaranteed hit ONLY to be turned in a direction I'm not aiming for, and hitting a random object or just swinging through air.
Is there any way to fix this??? Is the auto aim just really really bad in this game?
lmao, I know the feeling. It happens all the time to me especially around corners.

Do players feel that anyone is concerned about being reported to BHVR? Except for maybe the most egregious abuses, all the other ones don't seem to be a deterrant.
Do yall agree or not?
Agreed, maybe something does happen when we report a player. However, we have no way of knowing so. If you are reported or you report someone, you are given no feedback other than the "we are looking into your problem" which is kind of frustrating. Not going off on BHVR, just saying it would be more beneficial to have direct feedback with the reporting system.

Hag doesn't actually bite. She just gets very close with an open mouth. She has to save that tender flesh for the Entity and restrain herself.
Well that is disappointing lol

No, she does take quite a bit of skill to play. However, if you have a really good headset with surround sound, it becomes much easier to play her. Pro tip for anyone who doesn't have the best headphones on PC with windows 10. Go to your win key and at the bottom right of your taskbar right click the sound button. Hover your cursor over "spatial sound" and click "windows sonic for headphones". You should now have much better surround sound (might take a little while to get used to).

For me (killer main):
- Moris only function if a survivor has been hooked twice, and then downed. More of a visual 'fatality' and minor time saver than an instant kill.
- 'Kill x survivors by your hand' quests removed.
- Keys now only allow the survivor holding them to escape.
- SWF groups will now always face a killer of an equal or higher rank to the highest ranked survivor in the party. Not the lowest. Why was this changed again?
- Myers can now achieve EW2 25% faster.
- Clown now moves at full speed while reloading.
- Spinechill no longer activates if a killer is undetectable.
- Object of Obsession is now manually activated, lasts 15 seconds and incurs a 45 second cooldown after use.
- Decisive Strike is disabled if you enter a locker.
- Pig movement speed while crouching is increased by 20%
- Spirit 'husk' now vanishes 1 second after haunting begins.
- Killers receive a 15% BP bonus for every player grouped together against them (up to 60%). Actually gives an incentive not to dodge obvious SWF lobbies.
- Haddonfield removed from map selection until the Entity learns how to trim hedges.
- Slugged survivors cannot crawl into positions where they cannot be picked up.
- Deerstalker perk removed. Killers receive a low tier Deerstalker effect baseline (should help a lot with slugging complaints, actually).
- Survivors now incur a BP penalty for lurking in escape zones, much as killers incur one for lurking around hooks. Will remove a lot of endgame BM/stalling. Just get out of there!
- Rapidly pressing 'crouch' will now incur a movement speed penalty called 'sore teabags'.
- Allow survivors a 'surrender' vote. Should remove some DC incentives and also helps killers with the 'do I let them farm or kill them ASAP?' quandary in bad matches. Killer receives a significant BP bonus in these cases.
- Requirements to rank up increased, requirements to derank decreased. There is no way I should be able to hit rank 11 within my first two days of playing.
- Significantly more active policing of behaviors like deliberately deranking.
- An additional 5 ranks added to the game, above the current top ranks.
- Bots added for practice games, both as killer and survivor.
Anything you'd like to add?

I play The Plague and the perks I run are: Infectious Fright, Pop Goes The Weasel, Discordance or BBQ+Chilli and Corrupt Intervention. I don’t chase survivors longer than 30-40 seconds, I usually break the chase once I notice the survivor trying to loop me and buy time for the others. I am also a rank 3 survivor so it’s not like I don’t understand the survivor mindset because I do sooo idk 😐
Hmm. Maybe you can record a game and I will review it when I get the chance? If so, just know that I have almost 1500 hours of experience so there are others out there who may give better instruction, but I will do my best. I need a bit more detailed explanations to see if I can help you out in your games.

- A small hook count icon below the survivors in the HUD so you can tell at a glance what stage they’re on.
- A “randomize” button on the killer screen that gives you a random killer with a random loadout. Or alternatively a set of randomize buttons, one on the character selection menu to select a random character, one on the perk tab to select random perks, one on the add-on tab to select add-ons and one on the offering tab for those.
- The game should automatically archive behind the scenes game replay data and after game chat logs for any complaint submitted using the ingame complaint system. It would ensure that all tickets have the necessary video for review as applicable, making it much more reliable for customer service and much easier for the player submitting the complaint.
- If you have a daily mission and/or rift mission allow for a small mission tracker HUD on the right side somewhere. If you need to get 4 hits coming out of stealth with Wraith, for instance, it would be nice to have a little reminder and counter during the game.
- Hot tips when you hover the mouse over a word like “Considerably” in a perk or add-on description that tell you the actual numerical effect. (Similar to how the official wiki works but for ingame use.)
- A solo practice mode where you can free roam a map to explore it.
- Something like a faint aura or effect around a survivor who is your Obsession when you start chasing them (a bit easier to spot than the tiny wiggling Obsession tendrils around their icon in the lower left.
Maybe not a count icon, but a symbol or certain color over their survivor state icon. Like a slight tint of read for one hook, and maybe really dark red for two hooks (dead hook). A small thing that goes with this could be that when survivors are injured and are on dead hook, they could make more desperate grunt noises.
A randomize button is not bad and could make for some wacky builds, but I think there are better things that should be implemented in the game first
This is a great idea and would prevent some toxicity, but I think this would be a lot of work because recording the data for every game that is played sounds like a lot of work. Someone explain to me how this would happen if they know please. Also BHVR would take their time before considering adding something like this. I still think that it would be a great addition to the game.
Yes that would be nice, I would recommend putting it in the esc menu so that it is out of the way.
Yes, this should be in the game. I for one, think that there should instead be a page for each killer that you could click on and would tell you every possible statistic about the killers' power and addons. Same thing for perks and survivors' addons.
A solo practice mode sounds nice, maybe allow friends to help you practice by joining in mid-game if allowed.
When chasing an obsession, there is already a noise and signal to let you know that you are chasing them. I think the tendrils moving when the obsession is being chased is enough for everyone.
So yeah, these sound like good ideas to add.

The top of my list is colourblind options.
Thats it.
Not only are there no colourblind options in case people use it to gain an advantage (devs words), but the new map reworks are darker and have more grass and ground clutter than ever, which makes it a miserable experience being colourblind and losing survivors scratch marks every time I hit them once; they just disappear.
Please for the love of God add colourblind support or at least adjust the scratches for everyone so they aren’t invisible to us and we can play normally like everyone else; either brightness or colour.
Id even take my accessibility options as a perk; I’m desperate here!
Bruh. How do colorblind options give people an unfair advantage. Yeah, I think this should still be in the game unless there is an actual reason and a good one why this is not in the game already lol. Somebody please tell me if that is the case.

I’m a level 9 killer rank. I play killer 100% of the time and lately the survivors have been completing gens way too fast. Impossible to even get two kills let alone one. I was once able to get at least 2 -3 kills, even 4 on certain good days. Maybe I’m the only one but if this game keeps going like this I’m going to have to stop playing. It’s not a challenge anymore for survivors. Which makes it no fun to me as a killer. I at least want a fair shot. Are there new add ons for survivors that are OP?? Oh and another thing, What is up with that stupid perk where a survivor heals magically after the last gen is completed? After I’ve been running my but off trying to catch them and I finally get close but BAM healed. That is not cool. I worked hard to bloody up that survivor and they miraculously heal? Devs, Get rid of that please. It’s making me sick.
P.S, survivors, please stop the tea bagging. It’s ridiculous. It’s a game meant to have fun. You aren’t making money off of this like a professional athlete so stop the stupid virtual trash talk of tea bagging and just run out the gates and be done.
I don't mean to be rude, but it sounds like you are just a little inexperienced and don't know much of how to pressure survivors (get them off of generators; map pressure). To pressure survivors, hook and slug. If gens are being done at lightspeed, go ahead and do your best to hook a survivor. Afterwards, find another survivor and down them, but not hook them. Unless the survivors are coordinated, you should be able to go back to the hook by the time another survivor gets saved. This is the time to strike because unless the survivors are very efficient, you should have 3 different survivors pressured. During this time however, you need to act fast. If you know the unhooked survivor doesn't have Borrowed time or Decisive strike, go ahead and hook them again. Play in a way that would make entitled survivors upset, camp a little if you need to, slug a bit and hopefully (depending on what killer you are, what perks you have, what perks you are going against, etc) you should pressure survivors off of gens giving you time. Btw, look up how to mindgame as killer and how to chase tiles effectively by PainReliever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Jrv7TQYg5U
PS: Adrenaline, the perk that heals survivors and gives them a 5 second speed burst is strong, but not overpowered.

I was playing a round as the trapper, not hardcore just trying to get a challenge done and doing what a killer is supposed to do. At the end of the match I was called an "Engine camping Mother (expletive deleted)" then was called trash and an illiterate five year old.
I don't like hook camping but now I see why it's done. Even if you don't do it they find something to get on your case for.
Isn't keeping people off generators the killers job?
maybe if I hook camped I would have killed more of them. I play both sides by the way so I know how bad both can be.
Thank you for learning from your mistakes and becoming more understanding of the other side instead of being an overly entitled toxic survivor lol there are too many of them.

I've seen the arguments between those for and against tunnelling. Most of who agree with it are killer mains.
They say its not 'toxic' but a form of 'strategy' and 'skill'. Now I don't know what's clever and well played about hitting the same person over and over again, but that's just me lol.
I'm not totally against tunneling, ive seen killers try their best and get zero hooks, gen rushed and swf'd. All killers want at least a kill and if its endgame, there's no other way but to go after the one whose just been unhooked. It's up to the teammates to bodyblock and distract.
Tunnelling isn't strategy or skill, but merely a form of last resort for kills.
P.S My opinion!
Tunneling can definitely be lame from the survivors side sometimes, but is actually a valid strategy used by skilled killers in order to snowball pressure against the survivors. The killer capitalizes on the survivors' mistake of unhooking when the killer is too close or the unhooked survivors ran into a bad part of the map, it is up to the killer to decide whether or not to slug and tunnel.

I've always been a proponent of in-game voice chat -- but universal.
The in-game chat takes priority over external chat programs/features (unlike most games that prioritize like say PS4 Party Chat over in-game chat). Within such and such distance, players can hear what is being said by X player - Survivors can hear Killer; Killer can hear Survivor.
Problem A - Leads to toxic chat in-game.
Problem B - Extremely powerful in the right hands; extremely detrimental in the wrong hands (a chatter box that wants to have convo with friends while playing)
Problem C - Removes the ability to play the game and just chat with your friends.
Problem it would fix - The imbalance in how powerful communication is and how strong and annoying it makes going against SWF groups.
What you are referring to is voice-proximity chat. It is a really cool concept but obviously, if that kind of thing existed imagine all of the nasty things players could say to one another. I personally, would have a blast listening to what toxic survivors say and wouldn't care about what they say to me. But there are people out there who this could actually really hurt, younger people who are like 11 playing the game or mentally unstable people. For the mentally unstable people it would take a toll on them over time and push them over the edge. Really sad honestly, it would be so cool in this game, but a few bad apples spoil the bunch I guess, and there are A LOT of them.

Thought of another one:
The ability to see player Ranks (as a Survivor, seeing other Survivor) in-lobby instead of just post-death. I think it would be beneficial in the sense that so many players hold Ranks in such high regard - that they will have a better understanding of how that player may play.
Double-edged sword though because I know the community - they would avoid lobbies with lower ranked players because they'd assume they don't know how to play the game if they aren't high-ranked; when in actuality, they could just care zilch about their pips or understand that ranks aren't a good indication of skill and they know how to play but don't go out of their way to pip/rank up.
Yeah, this community isn't exactly the one that is friendly towards inexperience players lol.

Voice Chat for survivors.
Optional crosshairs for killers.
Both are allowed, but neither are a part of the base game.
Well, voice chat on occasional SWF groups is already very strong. Imagine going into every game at all ranks, even lower ranks as a killer. The survivors would always have some form of communication which would be too powerful. Crosshairs for the ranged killers Deathslinger and Huntress would take away some of the skill needed to play them. Not being rude, just offering constructive critisism.

Another quality of life change, have a page where it shows the stats of every killer and survivor addons. I think everyone can agree on this one on and would not require too much from BHVR.

Am I the only one who feels that survivors are too overpowered??
The Gen Rush is insane! By the time I get to hook a survivor after endless loops 2-3 gens are completed. Hex: Ruin gets destroyed 2 mins into the match, Corrupt intervention doesn’t last long enough to slow down the gens and the maps are too big!
Not at all in a rude way, but I think you are having trouble with pressuring survivors if "gen rush" is the case. Pressure is the ability to get survivors off of gens. Hooking and slugging can both be very useful to snowball pressure, just know when to cash in your hooks. Of course, there are many factors that can affect the amount of pressure you have on survivors. A few those reasons being what killer you are playing, what perks you have, what perks the survivors have, what items they have, what addons you have, and many other situations. Over time you will learn how to deal with these. A good tip would be to play some survivor because if you do you can get into their minds a bit and have more accurate predictions. Just remember, there really is no "gen rush". "Gen rushing" is what happens when survivors have nothing to do and depending on the killer you are playing, you should be able to put a stop to it.

I think I've honestly just gotten to the point where I give up facing SWF groups. Every time I see 4 survivors come into the pre-game lobby at the same time I just leave and search for a new match.
The reason? Well, it's not fun to face SWF groups. Games against them just feel too stressful to even enjoy. I've tried facing them in different ways, but nothing seems to work against good teams. I'm honestly happy that undying+ruin+technician is a thing now because at least that does something to them. Sadly I don't have them. ;-;
I think that you are just a bit inexperienced and you did say that you just transitioned into the red ranks, so it might be much more difficult for you to actually get kills. Unless the survivors are all godlike, you should at least be able to get 2 kills which is great for a SWF group. Maybe record your games and have people review them. I have been where you are at and I think you just need to sharpen your skills a little bit, try slugging and mindgaming at loops to shorten chases. Also, keep in mind that SWF groups can communicate information especially with object of obsession, as well as misinformation.

I don't think Deep Wound needs to be used in that way. Also looking at it from another angle then, why is pulling a healthy survivor out of a locker losing them a health state if they wiggle from the killers grasp?
Well, for the locker grabs I can see what you mean, but the hag actually injures the survivors when she grabs them from a locker (she bites them in the animation) so maybe all killers should have their animations tweaked so that they actually hit the survivor instead of the locker since that is probably what the devs intended. This way it would actually make sense as to why survivors are injured after being grabbed from lockers. Then maybe the survivors could be affected by deep wound. But if you feel like this wouldn't work I can understand that. However, they should tweak the locker pickup animation as I said before, it is a bit annoying to see the killers hit the locker instead of the survivor.
