I decide im going to get killer but don't know which one, have any suggestions?
It depends on what you want from them, fun (obviously), bloodpoints, or just their perks.
For bloodpoints, I recommend getting doctor because he is probably the best killer for getting bloodpoints with the right perks (beast of prey (yes this trash perk), BBQ and chili, infectious fright, and STBFL).
For fun, that depends on you. Maybe you could give me a list of killers that you are considering to unlock and I could choose one that many people think is fun to play.
For the perks there are 3 that are amazing and you should definitely invest the time in getting. Those three are BBQ and chili (the best of the three due to the bloodpoints [licensed killer; you need to pay for this, not much though]), thrilling tremors (ghostface perk), and corrupt intervention (plague perk). They are amazing perks for all killers.

Only time I DC is if I get caught first, hooked, then camped. Or if the killer chases me and has some BS lag on their side.and by lag I mean, slide across downed pallet and start running only to have the killer grab you and pull you back after you just ran 10 ft
Why when you get caught first? Could you imagine if everyone did this? I can understand DCing against a facecamper, but if you get caught first and if you go down to laggy hits? Please keep in mind that there are other people who are playing the same game as you and that you end up taking them down with you because they don't have as much fun.

I know it is a joke but it really feels like this most of the time, at least it does without DC penalties.

The two perks are so situational, so I make a rework.
Poised: every time a generator is completed you gain 1 token. Each token makes your scratchmarks 15% less visible (5 tokens = 75%).
Hope: every time a generator is completed you gain 1 token. Each token grants +1,2% bonus in movement speed. (5 tokens = +6% movement speed)
I think is nice to have (at least a minimum of benefit) all the time in the match.
This perks right now are bad and not worth it to run them.
The hope one would be way to strong for survivors who are good loopers already. The poised one takes away a core element of the game for killers (newer killers at least), tracking. I can see what you mean about how they are weak, but right now there are better perks to be touched.

(I'm a PS4 Player) When I'm playing doctor and I go to shock someone, there is a big delay between the time the shock fires and the time someone is hit with the shock and screams.
Does anyone else have this issue and does anyone have any idea what causes it?
Well, are you referring to the shock detonation delay or actual lag and latency? The shock will always be one second before it actually hits a survivor without the addons that affect it.

I like how you talk about his addons when it is about his base power.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/197810/has-billys-movement-also-been-changed
I had the same experience when I first used him after the rework. His saw feels clunky? It is hard to describe but is not the same as before even when you run him without addons, flicks feel completely diffrent but I have seen one billy main who kept playin him and does just fine, despite the roar, overheat and the other changes, pls dont get mad but i think maveros or something? He is competitive survivor but when he plays killer he is a billy main, check him out on twitch maybe he can help you to adjust properly, he is kinda inspiring to learn/play billy again.
Thanks for the suggestion, I might check it out. I will probably adjust to playing Billy again I just wanted to make sure I wasn't suddenly bad at the game because of how he suddenly moved differently.

So I remember seeing this topic a couple years back on the forum and most other killers were agaisnt it because at the time it was the most used meta perk. Well now everyone has realized that the perk is just pretty mediocre and even some survivors dislike others running the perk. This is because choosing to self care all the time and at the wrong times will usually just benefit the killer, but it can allow survivors to heal themselves when the help of a teammate is not available and offer the chance of making more plays.
Now of course we would remove the increase in healing item efficiency and just simply add the ability to be able to heal yourself at half speed. Self care can then be reworked into something else.
I feel like this change would only benefit both sides for the most part.
For killers it would slow the game down a bit with survivors that could be choosing to self caring and getting early hits in could be a lot more valuable. Healing slowdown perks would naturally gain more value as well.
For survivors they'd be gaining a free perk and they wouldn't need the help of a teammate, item, or perk to be able to heal themselves. Healing speed perks would also see more usage which could overall shake up the survivor meta a bit.
So all in all I feel like a change like this could be healthy for the game. Maybe not right away but at the very least sometime in the future I could see this happening. Thoughts?
No, but I can see what you mean. If everyone had self-care it would be very unhealthy for the game. We already have a problem with Claudettes self caring in a corner lol. Besides this could be abused by skillful survivors stacking healing speed perks.

Why MYC for Legion? His Frenzy should keep the majority of survivors a one hit down anyways.
it was the only other viable perk that I had and I just prestieged him, I would have prefered like BBQ to get more BP.

Ditch them. Sounds like they have become rather toxic and it is better if you leave them now.

I used to run NOED every game and didn't know you could lunge as a killer so I always went for quick attacks. I also played old freddy. lol

Both, apparently they did mess with his movement and his chainsaw movement big sad.

I'll start by giving some context and justifying the current design for base gen defence before going into my points. I started playing nearly 4 years ago, when even the most skilled survivors still weren't nearly as optimal as top percentage are these days. I remember I used to rely heavily on infinites and optimising a TL wall and the like was much less known of. Whenever survivors got injured or unhooked, they usually tried to get somewhere safe to heal and get back in the game. We also had Ruin, which helped massively give everyone another objective, and I clearly remember me and my friends had a designated Ruin person every match. In these times, killers had time to kick a gen and expect to get decent regression on it; most survivors wouldn't even go out of their way in a chase just to tap a gen, we just all weren't as sweaty as we are now.
Now let's get back to 2020 where everyone who's not a complete noob at the game knows safe tiles, fast vaults and optimising pallets in the game. There is absolutely NO point to kicking a gen unless you have PGTW/Surveillance/ ToT since you gain no real benefit from it. It is nearly impossible in the current state of the game that NO ONE will touch a gen that is 50% done in the span of TWO whole minutes. That's a quarter of what top ranks games last, and when survivors are all constantly working on a different generator unless they're being chased, it becomes absolutely ridiculous how pointless kicking a gen is. And I think there's two main issues that can be solved to give every killer a chance to defend gens, instead of having to rely on perks as they always do.
First of all, gen tapping should NOT be a thing; period. It doesn't matter if you're in chase or not, if the killer has to sit through a 2 second animation JUST to kick the gen then survivors should have to hold the gen for that exact amount of time to stop it from regressing any further.
And second of all, like I said killers have to waste time just to get a gen to START regressing and on top of this survivors have absolutely NO penalty for tapping gens over and over and over again. A survivor can probably stop a gen from regressing 8+ times in A SECOND. While a killer has to take more than twice that amount of time to just kick ONE. Survivors should have to decide wether to give the killer more of a chance to regress a gen (if they're already patrolling an area, they're again WASTING time they should be using elsewhere) or engage in a chase. When kicking a gen, EVERY killer should instantly have it regress 5%.
These two changes in my opinion should be enough to make gen regression speeds more fair, since I don't wanna increase the rate at which they regress because it would mess up other perks like Ruin/PGTW/Surge and we all know it takes BHVR a year to balance one perk, I can't imagine having to balance another 5+.
TLDR: Either gen regression speed gets buffed up drastically (and perks adjusted accordingly) or survivors lose their ability to one tap gens freely a million times with no repercussions.
Well, I think there should just be more perks that will help you find survivors and kill them quicker. That would be nice.

Basically you had to win the game twice to end it.
You're defining DBD... Survivors get second chance for screwing up instead of being punished by their mistakes..
That feeling when you don't even remember that you hooked someone because you got into a lot of action after it and then you get DSed out of nowhere hehe good feeling.
Actually, you have to win more than twice sometimes so unless you are a good nurse or spirit, you're kind screwed against somewhat skilled survivors running the perks.

Okay, to the nitty gritty:
1) I'm pretty good at pressure! I'm WAY better Killer than Survivor, working with a team makes me nervous (the social anxiety is real, ehe~). Hag is my easy mode, and she eats generators alive. Pyramid Head is my fandom fave and between trapping gennies and Trail of Torment, I get plenty of setback emblems and the occasional Judgement Day, which is always fun. I'm becoming very proficient in Pig, but I worry I might be...possibly too good, honestly? I don't know etiquette on which Killers are OP (besides Ghostface (*Ghostface*)), I know she's invisible, and I don't want to...going way sideways here, but I don't want to show up with a Mewtwo to a Magikarp fight, you know? I ran Freddy once, perkless, and my God, the man is canon hard to fox, it's a beautiful thing as horror but as a haunt-host it's not super fair...should I look up a tier list or something?
2) I figured it was specific pathing but these videosssssss you are a saint and a scholar, friend name of Yords ;O; This should help with (sorry to break order)--
3*) Okay, so not literally every chase, but it might as well be |,D I have yet to stun a single Killer with a pallet drop. I did manage to almost assassinate a Bill by dropping one between me, him, and Ghostface when a chase converged, but the Killer was good enough to take my sheepishly following them to the hook as "please God let me live that down and do me instead". My chase game is, like, mad low, dude. I clutch no pearls, it's cool, I gotta learn this stuff~
(oh God Bill I am still so sorry you came back for me too)1*) Very noted! I absolutely go for the complete freeze in the locker when the Radius is up, although it's a lot more viable a strategy with Heather--she can really keep an eye on absolutely everyone from a distance, I'm loving that. I definitely need to get my exit plan sorted, though. I can't resist running for the hook if no one's going for it, and then it's auto-slug 70% of the time because I try to break away and can't. I'm gonna learn these loops with the fervor that I refused to learn math with (ง •̀_•́)ง
2*) Hahahaaaaah, true story, I first played (by the Steam free weekend mark) in...2018, but after two matches someone said "Are you trying to be bad at the game on purpose" and I melted into the earth, stared wistfully from a difference, only picked it up when my old L4D/2 buddy rec'd it last month. It wasn't even a sick burn, it was quite possibly an honest question, because *I chose Huntress to start with*. I...am feeling much more confident now,, Hag pays the BILLS. The worst I've gotten this go-round are ragequits and (if I may quote) "camping noob pig ur beard smells like cheese". I have no beard, nor cheese, but they had a point about my proximity to the hooks. Also I was in fact the Pig. Considering I was driven away from L4D2 in the 00's by getting openly sexually harassed on mic by every Bob, Bill, and Bundy that crossed my path, I'll take Dead By Daylight any and EVERY day <3
3*) (as covered above, videos queued up as we speak)
God, I cannot thank you enough, seriously. I don't wanna backseat-mod, but this is sticky-worthy stuff--it's super accessible, easy to understand written instructions on the most basic level. I'M VERY EXCITED FOR THIS.

So I have over 8k iridescent shards but don't know whether to spend it on a survivor, killer or shrine of secrets, could anyone give me any tips?
You can also spend them on cosmetics (don't, it is not worth it). What you want to spend them on is killer, survivor, and the shrine of secrets. Only spend shards in the shrine of secrets if you want perks (that are good) that are dlc such as Decisive strike or BBQ and chili. For unlocking survivors and killers though, I would say you spend them to unlock a killer rather than a survivor since a killer is much more unique but you can spend them on whatever you like. If you have everyone for survivors, killers, and the perks you want you can use the shards to buy perks you already have in the shrine to get 150k BP per perk already owned. It costs 9000 shards for a survivor or killer and up to 2700 shards I believe for certain perks in the shrine.

I've never bumped into anything like an organized effort to slow the game. Of course, I typically run Whispers, so it would be really hard to pull off. If I'm always within 32 meters of you, you're going to be hard pressed to hide for long. Especially since being at the edge of whispers, when its flickering, gives you very precise information: exactly 32 meters away in a pretty specific direction. So I immediately can use my eyes and guestimate pretty accurately where you currently are.
Yeah I love that perk, the only problem is that I didn't bring it the times I really needed it lol.

Ah, well you spend them on perks in the weekly shrine (to get good ones you don't have the dlc for), cosmetics (not worth it), or killers and survivors. Iridescent shards can't really be farmed easily either. However this video might help:

*This isn't a debate thread*
There's been so many threads about ruin and undying. I've made a few myself explaining why I don't think it's that strong and why I think survivors are freaking out about it. So far all I've seen from other people are knee jerk reactions or bad arguments on why the combo needs a nerf.
So give me the best and strongest reason(s) why it needs a nerf. Convince a survivor main. Maybe start at why ruin has suddenly become a cleanse or lose hex perk again that everyone drops everything they're doing to cleanse right away. Then explain the strength of the combo. Don't just go for the worst case scenario...
Here are some arguments I've seen pop up. Improve on them if you want.
Some bad arguments: it takes no skill/ it gives free pressure/ carries bad killers... I think that if ppl thought about things more they'd realise that this doesn't make sense. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't really answer whether or not the perk combo needs a nerf.
An okay argument: solo queue can't handle it. I'd say that in edge cases ruin + undying probably helped the killer win. In most cases where the solo queue team is losing against it, I'd like to remind you that it's solo queue.
I've seen a few others...
People say it is too strong because of the aura reading effect. That itself just pushes it over the edge.

The doctor if you choose a killer. He is probably the best killer to farm BP. I would recommend using this build when farming: (along with a survivor pudding offering) STBFL, beast of prey (yes this trash perk trust me), BBQ and chili (obviously), and infectious fright.

It is possible. Or what happens is what happened with me.
I was literally camped out of the game for literally my first match. Bastard literally stared me in the eye as I hung on the hook until I died. My first thought was "Well, great. So this is the game?" and I almost quit there and then.
I now go out of my way to avoid playing in a manner at all toxic. Zero camping, zero tunnelling. The only time I have done so was recently after an extensive match on Mother's Dwelling, to which I apologised for afterwards. It was the final two, and that survivor ran at me. I'd had enough and needed to end it.
Dang, well that sucks to hear. Nice to hear you aren't toxic because you don't want to be though.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1677564#Comment_1677564
I will further this by saying that it's not just 1 match
the suffering continues on to the next matches as well
Take the person who got camped- they switch over to killer and do it to another (domino effect)
Also the other survivors will go into their next match fearing it's their turn to be camped
Then the killer who did being called whatever (not going into that) cause of "it's a strategy/ tactic"
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1677574#Comment_1677574
But if the same player (not survivor played) gets camped for multiple matches.... what then, stop playing due to frustration or play killer in a bad state of mind... It adds to the toxicity that plagues this game (and she's a killer too)
Also it's not sometimes... Take my example above
1 camping killer might turn into 4-5
then that 4-5 turn into 16-25... etc
It is an issue that doesn't have a simple solution... But saying to "grin and bear it" is avoiding the problem (and making it worse)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1677503#Comment_1677503
I'd say that it's more of MM and the ranking systems problems
But the players do decide to play how they want so... Fair enough
Wow, are most people really like that? lol wow that is just stupid. I get pretty upset sometimes in this game but I don't end up being toxic to the other side after a bad game. I always think of the possible baby survivors who are still inexperienced to calm me down or just take a break from the game.

I never said i was great with the nurse but whatever they did she's literally useless compared to other killers for now I'll just get in my good laughs laying back playing doctor and massacre everyone with a smile
You play 10 rounds of nurse against red and purple ranks rn if you want stream it ill watch or you can post it on yt and drop a link id love to see how she's the STRONGEST killer rn
Well, she is the strongest killer for the fact that survivors have no defense against a good nurse. Her ability has the highest skill cap out of any other killer. The reason people don't play her is because she is very difficult to play. I don't understand why you think she is a worthless killer. Also doctor is good, but not the best.

1. From the side of the killer - why is there no way for me to somehow avoid being blinded while lifting the survivor and breaking the pallet? I can't do anything if I haven't taken the perk, it's just stupid.
2. From the side of the survivor - I cannot blind the killer outside the pallet and lift the survivor, only a full slowpoke cannot turn away if I suddenly run out of the corner and start shining a flashlight. Blinding in a pallet doesn't require any skill from me, again, it's silly and not interesting.
The solution is to make the blinding faster, but give the killer the opportunity to avoid it while breaking the pallet and lifting the survivor. If the killer reacted quickly, then he escaped the blinding, if not, the survivor won. It will be more interesting and dynamic for everyone.
Well to avoid being blinded when picking up a survivor, you could try looking away where you think they will be if in the open or look at a wall while picking someone up. Also if they blind you at a pallet, it benefits you more than them because you can still hear their groans of pain or footsteps as they lose the distance they would have gotten if they kept running.
As for the survivor not having situations to blind the killer that often, just know that flashlights are in fact, weak. Flashlights mostly blind killers when they are locked in an animation.

Little effort is the key. Everyone else EARNS their escape/kills.
It's also be the guy in hook punished because THE KILLER couldn't be bothered to put in the effort. If everyone else rushes generator, the one camped still loses out entirely.
Well yes, but would you rather more than one person suffer or just one so that everyone can move on to the next game though? It sucks, but if people started to do this every time a killer camped then the number of campers would decrease. I hope at least.

You asked a question, I gave an answer. That's why people hate camping and want it nerfed, because it's already unviable and people still do it. Campers don't camp to win, they camp to secure a kill with as little effort as possible.
Well, camping to secure a kill with as little effort as possible sounds like trying to win. I also don't think it should be nerfed.

Very few face campers in the first place, and actually don't always use NOED, from what I have seen. Even if they do, I can still outplay them and escape, however this may just be me.

HIs snares can be spammed at a loop. What you do with it is put one or two around a loop while chasing a survivor and chase them in the direction of your snare. His dream projection is also very good as it gives him the ability to pressure the map easier.

Recommendations for breaking loop as killer?
I play Doctor but loops are just stupid for him. I don't mind pallets since I can break them and set up illusions with madness but the circling just waste time. Is there a better way to break the loop or should i just leave and hunt a different survivor?
I am assuming you are talking about dropping chase just in general as any killer. But it depends on the situation. If the survivor takes you to some really strong loop and is good, it is better to just leave them. For doctor specifically though? Run brutal strength on him (if you want, there are better options but if you are new, this will do nicely). When shocking survivors with your shock therapy, there will be a brief period where the survivor shocked can not do ANY action such as vaulting, dropping pallets or dead Harding. This will last for 2.5 seconds and takes 1 second after fully channeling shock therapy to hit them. It can take a bit of skill to pull off a shock that will render the survivor helpless in a situation where they run up to a pallet or window, but just know that more experienced survivors will drop the pallet early to not get hit.
Note: Shock therapy helps you at many loops by forcing the survivors to drop the pallet a bit earlier, shortening chases. It can guarantee a pallet drop.
Tip 1: Use the static blast to find survivors (works well with whispers) or shock at least 2 with one blast. If you see survivors grouped up, go ahead and use the static blast. One shock therapy will add half of the madness required to get to the next madness level and a static blast will add a full level.
Tip 2: Don't go shocking survivors constantly unless they are in a bad spot.

I'm like a month in and I hope you are ready for the gauntlet my friend
Let's start with those two, generator pressure and loops. I keep hearing about loops and wish to know of them, please and thank you!
Three questions of my own:
1) What do you do now you wish you had done differently when starting?
2) In a similar vein, something you wish someone had told you when you started?
3) For the love of Glob how the bad word do I not IMMEDIATELY get slugged in a Chase, I think I may just be overthinking it (lots of zigging and zagging to no avail and a knife in the back)

1) Generator pressure, usually referred to as map pressure or pressure in general is the ability to get survivors off of generators. You build up pressure by chasing survivors, hooking, or slugging (downing a survivor but not hooking them). There are many factors that can increase or decrease how effective your pressure is such as perks, killers, skill level, maps, etc. Learning how to build up map pressure is crucial to playing killer at a higher level. But to keep it simple, just hooking and chasing survivors away from generators is pressure. However, it is up to you to build up pressure from the point of your first hook using whatever resources you have (meaning what killer, perks, addons you are using.)
2) Loops are structures in the map that have windows and/or pallets and can be "looped" around when a survivor is being chased, we call them this because survivors run killers around them to get the most use from them. For example, the common T and L walls. T and L walls are called that because that is exactly what they look like, they are shaped like a T and L with each one having a window. These structures can also be referred to as tiles, which is a chunk of a map. A tile could spawn an area where there is nothing a survivor can use, or it can spawn your average loop that usually consists of 1 window and 1 pallet.
1*) I wish I had been more aggressive when I started, never taking hooks when I have not been touched at all by the killer. Instead, I just hid in a locker when I heard the killer's terror radius lmao I still remember my first solo match against that wraith.
2*) I wish someone had told me how infuriating this game can be sometimes Jesus christ lol. I still get upset while playing this game because of the bs moments that happen and haven't been fixed such as hitboxes. *Also a reminder: Know that people overreact and can be EXTREMELY toxic, my god dude. I think it is hilarious, but if you can't handle it just turn off the endgame chat.
3*) I think you might be overreacting a bit, or overexaggerating. But my suggestion for you would be to memorize map layouts and memorize loop/tile spawns. Also learn how to loop and spin/360 the killer.
Please know that there are many guides you can watch online that will help you with all of the topics discussed here. A list for things to become skilled in include:
- Learning to loop the killer as survivor
- Learning to play efficiently as survivor
- Learn to mindgame/juke as both killer and survivor
- Learning how to loop against survivors who are looping you as a killer
- Learn how to create map pressure
- Learn to play both sides; killer and survivor (you don't have to do this one, but it makes your predictions and game sense better IMO)
- Learn your selected killer's power and become skilled with it
- Learn to ignore when salty players tell you to not play a certain way

Spirit is not OP. Without any addons you can hear her coming and plan in advance where she might pop up. The coolest thing you can do is to drop a pallet on a Spirit before she got out of her phasing. I will not say that a good spirit can't rip you to shreads, but the same goes for most killers. I was once facing a clown main without special addonds and he just stomped our group.
Yes, even weak killers like clown can win some good games every once in a while. However, Spirit is definitely OP, or at least uncounterable in the right hands like deathslinger. People who don't use addons on spirit are uncommon if not, rare. The reason that people think spirit is not OP is because many bad spirit players exist (not trying to be mean). Even iron will without stridor can be countered as a good spirit. If the spirit player has some nice surround sound headphones and know how to play her, there is nothing you can do to get away from her. Every single little thing you do makes noise even with iron will. If you vault a pallet or window, you make noise. If you crouch around while she is phasing, you make noise. If you hop in a locker with quick and quiet, guess what? You leave dust for a half second and make noise. With a good headset and good player, the spirit can hear these tiny little things and completely ignore your resources. Now, these players are quite rare, but that is the proof that she is OP. I myself don't even have the best headset and usually demolish a survivor team because I can still hear the survivors' footsteps and smack them. This is only without addons, with addons like the duration ones (which double as a recovery speed addon for some reason) she becomes overwhelming. It is also unfun to go against a killer who gives no feedback to survivors as to when she is using her power.

So, Doctor is my second most played killer, BUT I always use the Calm/Order add-ons. As for Freddy, I did play a game last night before I read your reply here.
The result was a match on the Sanctum of Wrath. 3 Generators remaining, hatch escape.

No camping, no tunnelling, no Snare spam at loops. Lots of healing, surprisingly. Never got hit by a DS.
So did you rank up? If not, then try again, but this time try to kick gens a bunch of times as well as use your power too. Try to hook survivors many times until they die, kick a bunch of gens, and use your power as much as you can without losing too much pressure (so you should do things like snare spamming). Just remember, the ranking system SUCKS, like really badly right now so it might take you a few times before your get it. DC's can also hinder it entirely if it happens at all at any point in the match too. Getting 4k's consistently will also help you rank up fast. But you have to get them for most of your games.

I have just been thinking that maybe me and some other killers who say they have had a bad match. Maybe we are blocking our own ability to do well. Anybody else had a similar thought or just me.
Well if you do anything and expect to fail, you will most likely fail. Just stay positive. Also, even the weakest of killers can pull a few things off. (except maybe clown against a good team lol)

Im tired of having to play nurse or spirit if i want a chance against a coordinated team, swf is the worst thing to be added in this game hands down. I just wanted to play some plague or demo and its literally impossible to have fun, im not even trying to get a 4k i just want a fun game not 2 gens done before i find anyone on rotten fields on ormond, map issues are a problem in itself tho
yeah I can understand that. But are SWF groups in the wrong just because they want to play with their friends? (excluding the toxic "bully squads")

Now, LBH, the reason people whine how these to are 'boring' 'OP' etc is because people can not go for their stale, boring, overdone routine in a match.
Look at it. Since the early days people are playing the exact same against every killer, regardless of ability or map possibilities:
engage in chase, loop, flashlight, teabag, gen-rush. rinse and repeat.
Sadly a lot of killers do their bidding and play a style to compliment this: don't really use your abilities, be an m1 killer, don't break chases off, get gen-rushed.
Deathslinger and PH put a stop to the whole nonsense, and survivor players hate that.
So, what we need isn't to nerf these killer to pamper bratty, uncreative survivors, we need more killers than can cut chases short, that can't be looped as easily, hell, that maybe even benefit from breaking off chases.
Give us a plant based killer who can trap survivors actively by growing traps in their path, give us the spring-heeled jack who can soar into the survivor's paths and over pallets and low walls... give us variety.
I can see what you mean, however the reason people don't like them is because there is no way to counter them. If you run to a pallet or window, and vault or drop it PH can use his shockwave attack and if you don't vault or drop the pallet he can still hit you. There is no counter to this. For deathslinger, he can deny you of a window/pallet vault or from dropping a pallet, and if they are good it becomes impossible to dodge his shots. The reason you can't dodge his shots is because of how short his ADS time is. It is too short and you cannot dodge it no matter how fast you react to it. Maybe you can guess and dead hard right when he shoots, but that isn't counterplay it is just guessing and hoping he misses.
I do believe that they should be nerfed, but not completely ruined.

I dont feel they need to be nerfed. If you think they have spinechill for the purpose of undetectable just don't look at the gen you are going to or take a weird angle it only tells you that you are looking at them within 36m not from where. Also no one runs premonition and it has a 60/45/30 cool down so its usefulness is already limited. Most of the time people who run these will walk away from gens so they would still be nearby allowing you to get some juicy spooky action.
I know what you mean, but I just feel like it would be better for stealth killers or killers using stealth perks to actually be undetectable. Just a little thing that would be nice and makes sense.
