I don't want to give BHVR any more money than they already have and apparently never use on fixing the game that much.
-
Never, it helps you if you are being looped.

I'm....not actually sure you read what I wrote entirely....I do play survivor because I'm a survivor main. I'm not new to the game or anything, I know how to juke a killer, 360, run loops and whatnot, but I'm not exactly gonna be able to "git gud" when every time I try to get into a chase, I get completely outplayed by entire teams twice my skill level. But for the killers I'm trying to play - Myers (Corrupt, Pop, Nemesis, Play With Your Food) , Demogorgon (Thrilling Tremors, Corrupt, Save the Best for Last and Pop) and Hag (Sloppy, Ruin, Undying and Corrupt)
Oh sorry, I sort of just skimmed through it.
For myers, the only thing I can really tell you is to really have tier three 99% and to pop it right when you are just behind a survivor. He is a pretty easy and simple killer to play. Nemises and PWYF aren't really the best perks to use on him. I would recommend using STBFL and BBQ or thrilling tremors.
For the demogorgon, I recommend using the rat liver frequently for an addon. It is literally his best addon. You also have to make sure you frequently hold your shred for a second to see if anyone is cleansing your portals. You have to be quick with your portals to keep up with survivors and place them either right on top of gens or close to them. If you use BBQ instead of thrilling it might be more helpful since you can actually use your portals to travel to where survivors are with your portals (which should be placed not just around gens, but spread out through the map for travel).
For hag, I personally don't have anything special to tell you other than to place traps on chokepoints, near gens if you want, by pallets or windows slightly placed to the side so it messes with the survivor's camera, and to never really chase survivors. You want to "chase" survivors with your traps instead. So instead of going to mindgame for a 50% chance of getting a hit, just place a trap by a window and set up your web. Agitation is a pretty good perk on her as it allows you to put survivors in your den of traps. A hag with at least 6 good traps set up can quickly turn the tides of a match. I would also advise you to move triggered trap locations a little bit. So if you placed a trap by the shack window and it already got triggered, place one by the shack pallet instead to make your trap placement unpredictable.
Oh, actually I forgot about a little trick for mikey.
When you are stalking look down if a survivor is trying to spin around you, and note that it also makes you lose collision. So if a survivor is bodyblocking you from going to a survivor who is injured you can press m2 and walk right through them. It can also work if they are protecting a survivor on the exit gate or totem.
-
I don't mean to be memey or sound like a douche, but the best way to deal with skilled survivors is to become skilled yourself as killer, or as the cool kids would say these days "git gud".
I suggest learning about all the survivor jukes and even playing survivor so your predictions on what they will do can be more accurate. You yourself can do some nasty things in a chase as killer as well. For example, moonwalking in a loop, if done correctly can end in you getting a hit on a survivor.
Otzdarva made a video on the following killers that you can watch to get a good understanding of what to do as them:
Plague, Trapper, Bubba (outdated), and the Executioner.
Go ahead and watch a few guides on how to play killer and just watch Not Otzdarva's videos, just listening to him will help you immensely.
If you can tell us what killers you play that might help us help you more as well.
-
Nurses calling, sloppy butcher, CI, surveillance (suits the best playstyle [hit and run] and allows you to sneak up on survivors). Use this with the bone clapper (a really good addon) or the coxcombed clapper.
STBFL, enduring, brutal strength, and PGTW (aggressive build) I recommend either two windstorm addons or the purple windstorm addon with the "All seeing" -blood addon so that you can constantly find survivors and keep up with them better in a chase. (you still want to play the hit and run playstyle and only commit to chases a bit more often even with these chase perks) Make sure you find the first survivor fast or gens will be flying.

DS has actually been nerfed five times.
It is actually more powerful than it was before.

They are, but only as limited-time event items for some reason. I think it would be cool if they were a brown tier item that you could buy from the bloodweb for 1000 bloodpoints. We hardly ever see them in-game and I think it would be a neat little thing for newer players to use as a distraction.
-
it could at least take effect 10 seconds after you hit a survivor so instead of them running to a fresh new tile the pallet could be blocked, it would still be trash tho.
-
A lot of people find her very boring to play.
-
It already is. If you don't heal, you can focus on gens and even more so with resilience + spine chill. Good survivors don't heal unless they are vulnerable (death hook, against a spirit or oni).

To me, no update is major when we have yet to get new maps again. Good thing we're a decent amount of progress in.
There's so much potential for maps in relation to the most recent killers, but it sucks that's not in BHVR's plan.
A new map will be nice and cool, but that would just create another map with its own issues that will either be survivor or killer sided.

Because BHVR

Run a perk that creates an obsession so the killer thinks you have DS.

A battle of the benefits.

..Clown's belly? What's happening to it lmfao..
Nothing, just saying that this update was pretty bad IMO. I said the only huge thing coming was the Clown's belly since it was pretty poor for an update.
-
I will agree that NOED is not that great of a perk, however, the problem is with solo queue. Cleansing all 5 totems in solo queue is very unlikely to happen and very hard to coordinate.
-
"Huge update"
No offense, the only thing huge about this update was the graphical updates (the game looks fricking gorgeous) and clown's belly. If it was a huge update then we would have gotten a variety of other smaller changes too, but I guess it is asking too much from BHVR.
But at least someone is excited about it.
-
This guy probably has 100 hours on killer with 10 dollar headphones
-
Sandbag other players. Not only are you useless if you do, but you are also hurting them even more. However, this is bannable.
DCing is also another option, unfortunately.
-
I think that it is more of BHVR's incompetence rather than the community being very negative. They are a multimillion-dollar company and they can't seem to fix their game. Each patch we get there is hardly any new content, we get more bug fixes. I know it seems a little hypocritical for me to say that it is BHVR rather than the negative community since I myself have laced them before, but I do have a point. How can a multimillion-dollar company with a successful game for the past 5 years not manage to fix core issues that its own community has been complaining about; for 4-5 years.
This clown buff IMO, was not that great. They had several months (I think over a year?) to come up with a fix to clown's power, and they thought of something that can speed up the clown and sometimes survivors every once in a while in a match. This was just a really lazy idea and the most disappointing part is that I know for a fact BHVR will just bring this to the live servers and say "yeah, this was good enough". They are always doing the bare minimum, just look at the "tutorial" we have.

I play at btw rank 5 and rank 2 (depending on rank reset). I have 2,700 hours as survivor. Most of that time is in Solo Q.
Well, I have also played for quite a long time and I will say that it is rather uncommon to have games like that so commonly. I also mainly play solo queue at rank 1 and the amount of DC's and people killing themselves on first hook hasn't really happened more over time. It does happen, but not every game. Apparently, it happens enough for a lot of people to complain about it, and I don't blame them. It is a pretty douchey thing to do.

not really the chances you get the perk you want are 1/86 for survivor so getting what you want would be really easy and it would only be a max of 36 extra levels to get all perks if you could only get 1 per bloodweb. Idk about you but i could go play killer for a bit and come back with like 500k bp and easily do 10 or so levels.
for killer it's a little over a one in a hundred but still would be extremely easy and likely that you would get the perks you want.
this is assuming only 1 perk is shown per bloodweb, if you can pick 1/2 or 1/4 perks then you will almost always get what you want pretty fast.
Keep in mind though, there are 22 killers in the game and 3 prestige levels each. Same thing for the survivors side, I just don't think that people should have to grind over a thousand hours on this game if they want to get all perks on all killers and survivors with prestige levels if they want. Even survivors who have all meta perks don't use all of them most of the time.
-
@AChaoticKiller said:

nope nope nope
that would make getting all perks way too easy and we don't need meta being more used across all ranks.
it still takes a while

Bruh, Freddy's global teleport everyone can hear as well and see it on gens, you can head deathslingers gun, you can hear spirits phase, you can hear nurses blink, you can hear huntress's yell when throwing Hatchets...
What is your point other than a trash excuse because you don't know how to play demo
Not sure how it went from me telling you the facts to you saying I am trash at playing demo. They are not just trash excuses, but rather valid arguments for why demo is low tier.
The spirits phase sound is kinda eh because if you are in a chase, you will not hear it.
The deathslingers *ring sound when he is aiming at you is mostly pointless since he can instantly shoot you so you won't even hear it for half a second.
Freddy's teleport sound is global sure, but he can fake his teleport and always keep you guessing. He has snares too which make him a very dangerous threat in a chase.
I am not sure how nurses blink fits in here. Sure you can hear her blinking, but what does that do for you other than let you know she is in a chase? It also doesn't really matter since she is the most powerful killer in the game.
As a player who has almost played this game for 1800 hours and has played survivor and all killers the whole way, I think it is safe to say I know how to play demo and can identify his strengths and weaknesses. I am actually very good at playing him and can provide video evidence to prove it if you would like since you apparently think I don't know how to play him. Let me know if you would like to watch a couple of games.

Because the twins were a terrible killer in terms of gameplay (most don't like them). They are literally designed to be good at tunneling and camping. The patch that came with them also broke the game for a few weeks.

it's overpowered because it gives the killers more bloodpoints 4head, more points = less grind and thus it is overpowered
Because more points make a perk op.
If that is the case then WGLF is also op lol.

I think the low BP gain and difficult ranking with her specifically are what makes people shy away from her. She is actually a pretty good killer. Not exactly on Oni level, but strong nonetheless.

@AChaoticKiller said:
It really isn't hard to get rbt's off like at all if the killer doesn't use tampered timer, even with an extra box you can easily get it off.
I feel that this just lessens her stalling by making it easier to get them off faster, remember jigsaw boxs take time to interact with so removing one makes it way faster to check all the boxs. her power should not reliably kill survivors with the RBT's it should be more reliable when it comes to stalling.
If you plan on reducing the timer so she gets more kills that isn't a good idea imo since it would mean you have to tunnel to get that to work out and also survivors won't like it. I know gens will reduce the timer but there are only 5 gens and at most 3 gens will go off in the beginning of the game and mid way only 1-2 gens get done at a time. This means that this will most of the time barely affect the survivor or it will completely screw them over which isn't fair since it is out of their control.
I was reducing the timer to make them more inclined to go straight for a jigsaw box instead of just healing up or saving someone, but yeah on some maps it can be unfair. I also should probably mention that a timer can only have its time reduced by 30 seconds once.
I felt like it buffed her ability to stall a bit because survivors can't get it off so easily. It is still easy, but not "gets it off on the first search easy" and there is one less box to search at base. I feel like I am on to something though. More help from people around the forums would help.

"these past few days"
There's like a weekly thread about "nerf BBQ" on these forums. No matter how many times it's pointed out that it promotes a healthy playstyle (not guarantees it, people, promotes) and that it has half a dozen counters, the complaints don't stop. Maybe people think "OP" stands for "overplayed" rather than "overpowered," or maybe they just don't like rewarding killers to promote healthy play, they'd rather punish killers to prevent un-fun playstyles. (Wanting negative reinforcement in an already punishing video game, what a great way to build a lasting playerbase.)
I've commented on a bunch of the threads in the past (though it's hardly worth bothering), the posts are there in my comment history. It's practically a weekly tradition at this point.
I don't remember them being a weekly thing.

- The grass on the graphically updated maps actually make noise now when survivors are rummaging through them
- Sound has been refined, it sounds clearer, and no more injured survivors making zero sound
- The Wraith has now been given an extra 25% movement speed while cloaked at base
- The Trapper can now hold 2 traps at base and starts with one
- The Huntress gains a 5% increased movement speed when out of hatchets or has one remaining
- The iridescent head now instantly downs survivors when the huntress lands a hatchet from 20-24 meters away from a survivor
- The pig now has the effect of the combat straps at base kit
- The pig now suffers a cooldown from a missed ambush attack equal to a missed basic attack
- Graphical optimization took place and the game should play much smoother for everyone
- The game no longer looks blurry from anti-aliasing (idk I remember something about this made the game blurry)
A small list with many more never to come.

Not sure why you would randomly slap devour in. Clown doesn’t down people very fast or create much pressure so of all killers it’s most likely to not work on him. And being so weak in the first place I would never want to have to play him an entire perk slot down after devour gets cleansed in the first 30 seconds of the game.
STBFL isn’t that great on him either. You have no way to save the stacks and clown is weak enough you will have to tunnel people to death through DS sometimes if you are serious about winning.
um ok. STBFL is actually great on him and I have played him with it many times to know for sure. Devour as I said is just fun on him and so is dark devotion.
If STBFL isn't good on him then it isn't good on Wraith either since he has no way of preserving the stacks other than going after other survivors who aren't the obsession.
-
4/5
Devour hope is a fun perk to use on him since it gives him lethality (if you can get it to work)
I would recommend replacing rancor/DH with STBFL if you want. It works great on him since it actually makes him somewhat lethal.

Because he is weak and has no element of surprise. His noise that you can hear across the map is cool and all but it lets everyone know who you are at the start and if you are chasing someone or when you use a portal.
His shred is actually amazing, but it needs the rat liver as base to work effectively.
