I played some demo and got a 4k, but I missed almost all of my shreds :( it's hard man
-
Very, but more balanced than it used to be
-
It only works when the killer is carrying a survivor, and it is only for a short duration of 30 seconds. It has to be used with iron grasp and agitation to be somewhat decent.
-
"play a killer that actually takes skill dummy"
I was playing huntress
-
Well they are just tired of being bullied every game, they have probably gone insane and do anything for a kill.
-
So how can they explain the Twins patch?
Remember that list of over 100 bugs that came with it?
-
It would have twice as many bugs
-
Sorry, I would not want Dwight to sandbag me on a pallet as a billy comes by.

Don't forget the extra part where certain survivor interactions will also give extra blood orbs basekit, vaulting a window, dropping a pallet, vaulting a pallet are some of the ways oni can get his power much faster from frantic survivors

This is why i hate the Twitch TV guys, they just self promote, and always accuse ppl of stream snipe. and they are the most toxic players in the game, especially survivors
Not necessarily, this is the first ttv streamer who I have gone up against who was toxic like this. Most of the ones I meet are pretty chill.

ngl I had absolutely no idea that moles even made sounds

Why would a killer ever drop a survivor?
Well you see, when a survivor sabotages a hook in front of the killer, and there are no close hooks, and the survivor is about to wiggle off, would it not make sense to drop the survivor? You do realize that this is actually more favorable to the survivors right? Because the killer misses out on a hook state.

NOT AGAIN-

Time to change your profile picture

I agree with updating the menu animations and I have said similar things. Of course, this should be the last thing on BHVR's priority list, but it would just be cool to see.
It would be cool if each killer was just skulking around in their own realm. For example, Huntress could sit down and be sharpening her axe or hatchets while intermittently humming.
Myers could just be in a house looking at you through a window... just.... staring.... MENACINGLY
Pyramid head could just be carving trails in the ground while walking around the midwich elementary school.
I do agree with Dwight here tho because if you look at the animations in-game, some are just a little wonky and look slightly off (they need work), I thought it was just me who thought this.
I would still like to see different menu animations though.

A good tip is to make sure you infect people as quickly and efficiently as possible. I would recommend watching the quick plague guide by otzdarva, it is very helpful.

You can't really buff her into a point where she is strong and fair, she needs a rework first.

End it although after I've gathered enough experience to see what does and doesn't work I'll come back.
cool

I had gone in to this with a certain plan and set of questions to ask including past comments. But I ended up scrambling with the plethora of announcements.
ah, so are you going to ask me the rest of the questions or just end the interview?

Would go longer but the recent changes kinda messed up my plan.
What plan do you have?

No need to be like that lad. Yeh well it's a lesson for myself next time to look more.
Ah, sorry then for the rudeness, usually people come to cry on the forums and don't learn a thing, at least you admit to your mistake.

Thank you for your wonderful insight, although I must say I am surprised that you bought the trickster even after all of the feedback everyone was providing.
Instead of asking for refunds, try spending your currency a little more wisely.

Did they not just buff BT. Im not trying to be one of those people who is like "OH BHVR ONLY NERFS KILLER/SURVIVOR" but I don't think BT is really valid on that list anymore. I don't think new BT is OP its just much healthier and I think is a definite buff. Sure its not old BT but that thing should have never existed and belongs in a special place of hell saved for facecamping Bubbas.
I disagree with saying this BT buff will make it healthier, in fact I think it will actually make it unhealthier. The new BT will reward survivors for bad saves against stealth killers now, essentially nerfing all of them. Also, the new BT will not stop the face camping bubba.

Survivors are so cringe.
Did you just assume we are survivor mains? lmao

or you could eat the stun early.
Like I said: "Not every killer can take a DS stun (even after its nerf) early on. It isn't always the killer's fault they couldn't get DS out of the way, they can but not always."

@TTV_WAWAbyWibWib said:
All killers can win by force against the best survivor teams in the world, even without tournament rules set in place to make the killer's life easier or more manageable. it's just unrealistically hard. Every killer is vastly underrated.
You are telling me that I can play Clown in a high tournament and win?

current BT rewards bad plays though
I know, but that doesn't mean it should reward it even more.

the only possible change I could see is make it so the killer is within 25-30 meters for BT to go off.
That would still screw stealth killers though, and it still would reward bad plays from survivors.

so you're telling me is should still work with a camping crouched pig/ ghostface... okay
Stealth was the counter to BT, BHVR is going to get rid of that because it didn't work against Freddy. Stealth killers are all at best decent, the last thing they needed was a nerf. It also rewards bad play from the survivor POV.

@NotTheVommyMommy said:
People underestimate how good Clown can be, and how they still think he's the worst is beyond me.
He can do a few tricks, but he is definitely one of the weakest. If you drop a pallet early as a survivor, what is the Clown going to do?
-
It was already fine as it way it was, the buff was unnecessary, it only needed to work against freddy, not disable any counterplay with all stealth killers.
-
git gud

Remember when the devs nerfed infinites, insta heals, BNPs (twice), flashlights, BT, DS?

Why punish people for not having fun?
It isn't really for punishing people not having fun, but to prevent people from ruining other people's fun. Sure, there are some games like when you are slugged to death you just want to leave, but you just have to suck it up for 4 minutes at most. The problem are players who find several things unfun such as Spirit, hag, deathslinger, being slugged for a short time, bad teammates, etc.
If we gave survivors a way to get out of a match such as the cyanide pill in this instance, it would just encourage people to leave matches because they thought it was unfun, but everyone else could still be fine. It would allow players who think playing against deathslinger is boring to just leave the game once they see him, it would ruin the fun for everyone else.

They are in every single one of my killer matches to the point I just consider DC/ing if I am playing as trapper, placed two traps and then hear 3 tinkerers trigger at once.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2117116#Comment_2117116
Didn't know checking them made the generator progress regress and have the survivors instakilled.
You have to 1. Find them 2. Chase them 3. Hook them
In that time, a gen is bound to pop, and in the case you manage to hook someone when 0 gens have been done, you have to also get to the other side of the map
I don't care if you don't play killer or only play as Nurse, I am not Flash I can't get across the whole map at the speed of light. Each gen done means the hatch is closer to spawning and the survivors can get the F out whenever they feel like it after teabagging the killer. Each hook I do is meaningless because it applies no penalty to the survivors and even if I kill one the rest of the team can still escape.
If they are happening every single one of your games, then the pebkac.
This problem is because of poor map design.

The Plague, she is strong and has 2 meta perks.

The survivor probably looped the killer for 4 minutes and wasted there time, thus the killer returns the favour.

Nope, neither does brutal strength on demo with his shred. Those players probably had nothing else are new if they were running it.

Whispers is another very often used perk. I bet most people would put it in top 10 perks
I myself don't see that many killers run it, usually all I see is BBQ, pop, corrupt, and ruin.
-
Whispers.
The best killer perks are the perks that let you find survivors faster, so you can kill them faster of course. Whispers is a FREE perk that can help you find survivors and save a lot of time doing so. It will let you keep the pressure on survivors and you can even use it to accurately find survivors hiding around. It can also work in the endgame to secure the last kill. The perk is very good and should be used more.

@Volfgang57 said:
Pretty sure this has been brought up before and it was confirmed to be intentional
Why would they give survivors a crosshair though? lol are they going to give survivors guns in the RE chapter?
-
We know, it is good that it was nerfed, but these were just too simple to be good changes. It needs a range requirement and no penalty to hatchets, then it will be fine. Ultra rare addons are supposed to be game-changing while not being impossible to deal with. The soldier's puttee is an effect that is good, but not something for an ultra-rare, in fact some people have been saying to give huntress base movement speed when out of hatchets for a while now. The new ultra-rare does not give you an effect that is good enough, it is not that strong.

Darn, F her for finding your totem early on because it spawned in a bad spot due to how terrible the RNG is for totems in general. And also screw her for trying to cleanse that totem which was very much important to you.

@Sup3rCatTree said:
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, DS is already nerfed into the ground, this would make it even more trash and not even meta anymore.
The perk is still strong btw, it still helps with tunneling too.
