Read my other first responses to know why fortnite has more money invest. Take in mind 3 years ago fortnite was almost cancelled
Well no. You kept saying that they listen to the community because they introduced battle Royale, but no, that was just their last chance to save a mediocre game. I can name many fortnite "pro player" because they change many things, ruining the game (for example, it's not very fair to play against people with aimbot just because crossplay). Again, all the money comes from the skin market, that's it.

nothing in my thread is misleading at all
Yes it is. When white ward and franklin's are discussed in the same thread is the fact that dropped items cannot be saved by white ward. In your thread you don't mention even once that white ward should not drop the item after being hit by franklin's, it's normal people assume you're talking about the hottest topic about.
-
More money behind the game, more money to hire competent people. Fortnite is better for the many reasons you wrote above (sure, except for the game genre, which I find very boring), but the many it excels in are possible thanks to the big money behind (all the free patches and big updates are founded by the colossal skin market behind). Except the bug disable against DBD ban system, that's really awful, but I think that due to spaghetti code there's nothing we can do about it.
-
Huntress is fine. The real issue are all these dogshit maps they're creating. Huntress sadly is strong but very map dependent.
-
Imo it doesn't matter if you prestige them up to P3 in one shot or in a random order, the only thing I suggest you it's not having every killer at P(x) lvl 1, in other words, do not prestige a killer if you don't have already another killer high level with decent perks to play with.

my change has nothing to do with that, read the post or don't comment. That bug exists with or without my change.
Not only you wrote a misleading thread, since nobody seems to understand the meaning, but also it would be a stupid change. Because if the offerings is worthless against franklin's, then the perk you brought to counter an item would become worthless.
-
No, otherwise the white ward could be used to duplicate items. There's a reason why you need to die while having the item in order to keep it.
-
Of course. I mean, he can one shot, not even spirit nor nurse can do it. No reason we need such a broken and over performing killer in this game. Survivors are already the minor role in this game.
-
It started as a killer sided game and now it is a survivor sided game
The game was at its most unbalance at day one, surely not killer sided, survivors were just all bad (as killers).
Band-aiding perks are the worst things in the game atm. Also noed it's not unbalance at all, it's a bad perk compared to every god tier perks survivors have.

Aaron is a good player and even better than you.
Have you even discovered a tech? NO.
Aaron found a new tech (the hook tech), and he doesn't abuse things, he's just way too good that he can win only using deja vu.
Never said I'm better than him, hell, he sank thousand of hours in this game, he has every survivor L3, I wouldn't be willing to do it, even if at the time I knew how much popular would later have become.
Also he found a glitch, he's abusing a bug in the game, just because he started calling it "tech", doesn't mean it's good to use it. I mean, following this logic, wasn't moonwalking with Legion a tech too?
-
All these DBD you tubers who used this "abusing/OP #########/toxic" clout to become famous deserve it.
-
Doesn't seem to me they were the most optimal SWF ever. I mean, you go for sabo squad, tho only one unbreakable, 3 borrowed time (despite the killer should never hook you)...
-
It's done on purpose so that you're more willing to drop 10$ rather than wasting what? 100 levels? Hundreds of hours of playtime?

@YaiPa Does this mean that the doctor should sacrifice his own enjoyment of the game to make sure the surviviors have a good time? Since the definition of holding the game hostage is to detriment the surivors gameplay. I fail to see how a game is held hostage in the first place by a killer. The gens are controlled by the surviviors the Killer can only defend the ones that are left.
Holding the game in hostage is when the game can't progress and the only other option is DCing. For examples if the killer body blocks in a corner, you can't move and you're forced to DC. The gens point you're bringing is right, in fact I consider hiding, doing nothing (like when you kill 2 survivor with 5 gen still) holding the game in hostage. But you know, people always say the afk crows bullshit, so you can't say anything about this.
-
No, if you want you can run into him and end the game. Also with the near doctor rework, devs will most likely nerf this aspect.

Why do people complain about hexes? You know there are perks to protect them right?
Hexes are completely RNG based, totems spawns suck, hexes can last roughly 20 seconds. Using haunted ground/thrill is a waste, if you play the entire game protecting your ruin you will eventually lose the game, while most killers need chase perks, you can't waste two slots.

That's what I'm talking about
I want the devs to create new "Ruins" to make Ruin less needed
If you mean a passive perk, then it's impossible. In case you didn't already understand it, almost every perk they released in one year it's token/requirements based. There will never be other perks like enduring or brutal strength that give you a boost no matter what.
At least they will create another hex, which will be #########, like all hexes.
-
Ruin is needed on almost the entire roster. It's a passive slow down, no hooks needed (like pop). Corrupt intervention is only good on setting killers, if survivors are smart they can just hide the entire time, cleansing totems maybe, then start the match after 2 minutes.
-
NO. There's already a strong perks meta, we don't need a survivor meta too (following these buffs for example, Meg's passive is the strongest by far, there wouldn't be any reasons not to play her).
-
Events are dead. I'm sorry you missed them.
-
They should have expected that with the rift grind. Take your free escape and stop crying, loot a chest and leave. Also the 4 gen challenge is a piece of cake with afk wraith.
-
Yes, is a bug survivor abuse behind the "tech" terminology.
-
No, just because this could end up like old Fifa credits. Basically people paying for blood points, having unfair advantages over people who don't.
-
For how garbage saboteur is, despite this is a strong effect, it wouldn't be broken.
-
I'm gonna buy it if I reach level 70 and I'm sure to get everything back, exactly how I will do for Tome 1.
-
It would be awesome, but it's like the balanced landing nerf. I'm tired of these band-aid perks to avoid map rework.
-
Did it first try, without swf. It's actually way easier to pop 4 gens, rather than completing the amount of 4 gens (as it was on leaked tome IV). Basically do one gen, use bond to find nearby repairing team mates, and if someone's on the hook, even if YOU should go for the save, throw the game and finish the gen. It's way easier than 4 sacrifices on basement, since survivors like to DC.
-
Freddy was basically a constant joke in the community, since his big nerf he received only two weeks after he came out (leaving him in a horrible state his been since 2017, till the rework). His power was not a power, only an aura reading and a slowdown on actions, and you needed to wait before hitting survivors.
Nurse was much more adrenaline, as now you just never double blink to scout survivors and you walk very much (before bad nurses who walked a lot were often referred to as "walking nurses")
-
If you're in a swf everyone can do the gens, you just need to pop them. While in solo, I still haven't tried it, but I was thinking to use bond/key to see team mates, basically doing nothing/hiding, and then just helping them popping the gen.
-
It's all luck. Sometimes hooks are very near, other times (like fractured cowshed) they're not. But from my knowledge, there shouldn't be anymore dead zones (like the upper floor on Thompson's house months ago).
-
nononononoonoo you're TOTALLY wrong. The best way to use sprint burst is using p3 meg, walking every time (best if you crouch), especially to do a save (better if the person is near to die), then activating the sprint only when the killer is near you, so near that can hit you, then proceeding to waste all the sprint being stuck against a wall.
-
Well, I find it funny as survivor finding out the secret offering. Like I saw the secret offering and I'm like "ok, just shroud of separation", then I spawn with another survivor and I'm like "fine, just a shard", then I see ruin and I'm like "ok, yellow mori", then somebody gets moried: "let's hope at least is an ivory", and then it's an eboni.
-
You only get banned if you hack legacy, that's it.
Any other stuff only leads to either a temporary ban (like 1 day) or nothing, since lagswitching is almost everytime justified as bad internet.

I’m mostly upset that they screwed over solo survivors by not letting us see other survivors’ ranks.
Most likely it caused many survivor dodge, hence the 3 man lobby bug, hence everyone waits more.
-
Seeing the items it's essential for a killer, why perk like franklin's or lightborn even exist otherwise? Also there's/there was a lobby bug where killer would see the survivor base skin, and not their outfit, so this kinda good I guess?
-
Did it first try today at red ranks. Trapper with yellow bag add-on and iridescent stone. Deerstalker (to slug for the 4k and keep a track on survivors if they are far from the basement), ruin (no need to explain, can use corrupt intervention if you prefer), noed (you need it, because you might end up throwing the game bringing people to the basement), free perk (I used STBFL).
I used it as a basement build (hence the iridescent stone) but since you just need to sacrifice in the basement, agitation and iron grasp are not needed imo.
Use auto haven offering, hoping for wrecker's yard (which has a central an easy-to-bring basement) if you want (I didn't, got coal tower with basement in the building).
-
Then keep having badly designed killer that nobody uses like they were thought like ghostface, or counter play never thought, like not cleansing.
-

Maybe there are legitimate technical reasons that make this more difficult than it seems, but it does kinda feel like being kicked while you're down after no Summer Event and a very meh Halloween 'Event'.
The next Lunar New Year 'Event' better take some of the feedback from the Withering Blight and be amazing.
There will never be anymore events. Just themed generators and hooks for more bloodpoints. I don’t know what feedback the whitering blights should give.

How do you convince survivors to let you hook them 5 times in basement?
You let them stun you as many times as they want, then when the hooking farming starts you bring them to the basement.
-
@Keene_Kills said:
Specifically talking about:
6 ft Under: sacrifice 4 survivors in the basement in a single trial
Hungry Jaws: 6 bear trap catches in a single trial
But also the non-lore:
Dark Senses: Finish 4 gens with Dark Sense in a single trial
Agitated Advantage: Hook 5 survivors in the basement using Agitation in a single trial
Every single other one is shockingly easy, but these... bruh.
6 feet under: just keep playing until you eventually get it (it gets hurled by DCs tho);
hungry jaws: farm
agitated advantage: farm
dark senses: heh, I done it many times in these days, due to awful matchmaking, but yeah, it's hard
These are the easiest way to do it.
-
Basically gen rush and before 2nd and last hook state do a borrowed time trade unhook.
-
Most online games with a "quit match" feature have a penalty for it (Tekken is the one I think first). Just because there's the option doesn't mean you should do it.
-
Could be good, yet since is an hex is bad. I mean, I like the point of having a bad early game, to gain a lot of momentum late game, bad if it gets cleansed instantly you just sacrificed early game to gain nothing.

What are eu non friendly streams??
Most of the times when he streams for me it’s like 4 am, while I think for him it’s 7 pm or smth like that.
-
Dead hard no doubt. Such a versatile perk, has a lot more uses than the one he was thought for, and most of them are uncounterable.
-
Sadly Scott makes EU non-friendly streams ;(, but from what I understood, the real problem with the game it’s not map knowledge, rather than setups, hence rng.
-
Well, all the slashers this game is inspired from used the good old a&t tactics, and yet there are no such things in this game.
also most of the times is a “final girl”, which again isn’t that common on dbd.
but you’re right saying that this game tells you lost, despite winning.
-
- borrowed time, I know it’s meta, but I always found the name funny. Like you’re asking to the entity an extra hit, and the entity borrows you the extra hit, but still you have heal from it.

Personally, I'd hate to see all the little pieces of "tech" removed from the game, I think little things like this make the game more fun and enjoyable...same as the harvester tech which just got restored.
Except that the harvester tech is based on a design of a structure, while the window tech is based, as OP said, on a bug. Isn’t this tech the same as it was back in 2016, hitting a wall after landing an hit to avoid weapon cool down? Or the same as abusing sprint burst on demand bug? Both were tech, not many knew it (thanks god i’d say).

You gotta love the no sound generators in haddonfield/badham funhouse. Literally unless you go downstairs you won’t hear a thing.
