  • It couldn’t be possible with every killer. For trapper people would always use its less visible trap design (and they should create the three dark shaded versions), while with other powers, like billy’s Chainsaw, you can’t be so creative. I’d really like to see other hatchets designs for huntress tho, not gonna lie.

  • The only survivor it's worth maining it's someone who wears an hat and sunglasses in the dark, and that always smiles, even when you put him on a hook.

  • If you really want to do it just farm. Otherwise, throw the game trying to grab at pallets, otherwise camping insta-grab doctor.

  • It's all because of a domino effect. Basically (I think) there are less killers than survivors, hence killer lobby are instant, while every survivor rank gets matched with a lower rank killer (red ranks survivors go with purple ranks killers, purple with green, green with yellow). And it's strange, because there might not be many red ranks killers, but clearly there are many green ranks...

  • He is weak around LT, but even with bamboozle you won’t win LT’s loops, since every time you vault you give the other vault, which is mathematical a free vault.

as for the question, either infectious, or bbq.

  • Everyone wants to see the lobby rank, but if they removed it, it was because this “bug” caused many lobby dodges, and people realized that, despite what they said, the matchmaking is busted.

  • Rank reset was meant to never leave players alone in their rank. Which is actually what we are experiencing right now, with purple ranks facing green ranks killer, red facing purple and green facing yellow killers. Everything is busted.

Yeah I realized that right after I made this post lol

A big Youtuber called Otzdarva already tried a similar build, back when nemesis wasn't a perk and many obsession perks were bugged. He did pretty well, but he was very lucky finding the obsession, and the game was very long, which is not that good for killer.

  • Furtive chase works only when the obsession is unhooked. And you basically have to rely on luck to find early the obsession.

  • Always said it. If a killer wins is because survivor are non optimal.

Every time you complete a gen a survivor, you should ask yourself "why aren't other two gens being completed?"

I’d like to know why Doctor’s shock therapy stun is so inconsistent. If it’s a bug, then why hasn’t it been fixed yet? If it’s intended to be that way, then why would you want something like that to be inconsistent?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/918274#Comment_918274

Ah yes, we should totally have to use a perk to counter bad game design.

I have hundreds of examples of how bad and inconsistent doctor shocks is to negate actions. I know it's an enormous problem, but most people will tell you that you're just bad, and you just need to time it better.

    1. This is a planned part of the disconnect handling system, which we are planning on testing soon. The husks are not in the first version, but are still planned to come further on down the line.
    2. This one is a mystery to me. I'd have to find out, but I wouldn't exactly say this is a pressing issue.
    3. It's a known issue.
    4. The stun is not problematic as originally thought, since it is fairly easy to avoid in the first place. We have not promised that the timer would be reduced.
    5. This is just because of the way auras work. If they are close enough and not obstructed by a solid object, the aura does not appear. This is the same for anything else in the game.
    6. This would be a bug (likely already logged, but you can always report it just to be safe).
    7. Because there is a design team working on improvements to the game. Some are hits, some will miss. Not everything comes from a request, we also try to stay in front of the curve.
    8. It's on the list of things we'd like to do.

Almost all of these have been answered at some point in the past.

So let me understand. Most answers are the usual "Soon"/known issue.

But also, and sorry if I might sound rude (I actually estimate you, since you're always here, basically eating ######### for the developers), but how the ######### can a big structure like the crane on Ormond randomly disappear, and you never said anything about. It's not a bug, you clearly removed it. And also, it's an entire unique map tile, it should be a pressing issue, you already have the model, just put it there.

As for the ds stun timer, yes, that was basically the only answer.

  • I’m still waiting the survivor husks they promised us around an year ago.

  • Hmm, which role is more stressful?

survivor, the dominant role, with stronger perks, better visual and chase control,

or killer, if you miss a ######### hit due to dead hard, auto aim (which devs still try to say it doesn’t exist) or other bullshit, you can basically lose the game.

  • Learn how to take every window with a fast vault, it’s one of the highest survivor’s skill cap, and it helps a lot in looping.

  • Maybe only the three unhooks during egc, which will become two unhooks (as it was originally intended on tome 3).

  • Tbh I prefer this misleading marketing, rather than dealing with a team of incompetent that thinks that ######### like old MoM was okay. This also because I can wait, and I’m not a person who’s ready to drop cash instantly.

  • My most satisfying game was a full 4 man, ds, MoM, adrenaline, borrowed and such fun perks, on old bad ham as wraith, of course 4K.

    the harder the more satisfying.

Wrong and Wrong. Ruin and Adrenaline sucking/slugging (please refrain from mentioning me if you don't know how to suck Adrenaline and especially if you don't think slugging is viable)

oh yeah, ruin, a perk based entirely on rng, that can be deactivated in the first 30 seconds of the game and gets completely destroyed by everybody who can hit skill checks, something that after 3 years, isn't so rare.

Adrenaline completely destroys slugging, everybody is injured, you down two survivors, and you're chasing the third, the fourth can work on the gen without any worries of helping the team mates, because by completing the gen the killer in a matter of seconds the killer passes from an almost won game, to basically a lost one (if everyone has adrenaline).

Also slugging is not always viable, it's not something every killer can do, and must be done at key moments.

  • *"Where did they go? Achievement" has entered the chat*

  • Actual powerful killers.

And they should get rid of looping if they want a scary game. (I dont mean looping shouldn’t exist, it’s far more entertaining looping and outplaying rather than stealthing for the entire game, I only mean that running around a big rock or a log while chased by a “merciless killer” it’s funny rather than scary)

  • They tried it with this chapter. The Oni rage scream being heard in the map is suggestive, sadly it reveals a strong information.

It’s like people screaming while intoxicated or shocked, it creates atmosphere hearing your teammates suffering, tho you feel relieved knowing that you’re facing an F tier killer :P

  • If it’s a team splitter in two genrushing, and two sabotaging then you should focus on the sabo and slug if there are no near hooks, or aim to the basement.

If it’s a full 4 man, no mither, tenacity, breakdown, then slugging it’s obviously impossible, you need a good early game, downing someone before every hook starts getting worked. It will be a long game. You might slug, but you need a killer that can instantly down them as they get themselves up, like nurse or huntress.

  • If survivor stealth, and the killer has no point where to search them, you will never find them, except with whispers.

  • Sad thing it’s that noed is the only crutch perk for killers, and have an easy counter, something we can’t say about every other survivor crutch.

  • That’s the famous “one hour per day to complete the rift”, right?

  • You missed that period when these used the old MoM, ahh, such good times.

  • Do you mean just adding the egc animation when someone DCs? It would help withs wf DCing for the hatch. But then we wouldn't survivor husks we've been promised at least a year ago.

He actually gets free blood with a BT hit, so I'm not sure you're correct about that. He gets almost half his power by hit someone who doesn't go down...

    Yeah, that's what I wrote.

  • Billy is stronger in early game, as long as the game progresses Oni becomes stronger. Still, getting the first two hits with a powerless killer is not so easy. Also you need to change the way you play against Oni, like avoiding free bt tank hits.

  • Both are tied to achievements, since they can't change achievements the eventual changes wouldn't be much strong.

  • Not only is a super old idea that somehow people still wants, not only it would be destroyed by SWF, but for how meta works nowadays, killers do not have time to mess around, they need to end chases quickly.

  • Use wraith, with ruin, deerstalker and noed (4th perk is free, maybe bitter murmur), tunnel the first survivor/mori. Play the game normally until everyone is on death hook, then hide for the rest of the game until the last gen pop, oneshot everyone, wait for a possible unbreakable, then pen the exit gates and hook everyone.

  • Wait until the new tome is released. If it's the same as it was when "leaked" it grants exactly 60 shards=6 tiers.

  • That the hardest one could gain more rift shards, the maximum is 5 for the one-trial challenges, but for the hardest (5 traps, 2 egc saves [which is 100% gonna be on tome 4]) I'd like to obtain 7 or even 10 shards.

  • If you play survivor that's not much difference, despite with the keyboard you can do some neat turns useful to dash hatchets, but many survivor mains use the controller. For killer, if you play on pc you simply get demolished.

  • It's just about maths.

4 survivor spawn on different gens, they start working as soon as the match starts, the killer finds the first survivor in 15 seconds, let's say he downs a survivor in 30 seconds (and it's not always possible, very hard actually, especially with killer that have to double hit), there are 3 gens at ≈55%, which is going up to ≈60% as the survivor is hooked. Now the killer sees with bbq one survivor, heads towards him, by that time, and the chase time, two gens are gonna pop, then one survivor will go for the save, and the other one will finish the third.

One hook for 3 gens, a trade no killer can take. If survivor play optimally a killer can't do anything.

(and this is by considering a fast first chase, that since it's the first chase, it's not likely)

There is no 60s immunity.Theres at max a some second stun. Thats all. Take it or cry in your corner for being not able to play the game properly, but dont spout nonsense on forums. Most of the times what you say doesnt work, cause the game doesnt register hits properly and one surv goes down, most likely the unhooker. BT is implemented for exactly that purpose of safe unhooks, which includes the unhooker.

With the recent buff bt got it became much more than a simple anti-camping perk, while as for ds, already told you, you have 60 seconds were you are super safe, it's not an anti tunneling perk.

  • Why didn't you record such beautiful bug?

  • I'd prefer a new original killer with an original power, not just Myers but different, Billy but different, and so on.

Thats one hell of an unlogical conclusion.

DS and BT are fine cause killer tunnel and camp nearly every game.

No, ds is broken because it gives you 60 seconds of immunity, while bt is used most of the times to tank a hit for the team mate who saved you/for another survivor the killer was chasing nearby.

  • Long story short: the best survivor perk (ds, dh, bt, adrenaline) are meta because, as many people here like to say, they are overperforming.

Ah yes the infamous "just don't get hit lol", in which my equivalent counter argument would be "just kill them quickly enough lol"

Who here is defending keys? Stop bringing it up, it's irrelevant.

You can kill them quick, close the hatch and camp the exit gates, then they open the hatch with the key. Slugging also isn't a viable option, since if a survivor hides and a killer without any point of reference can't find them.

  • Mori is not always a lose, because mori has a counter which is not getting downed and gen rushing. On the other hand, keys do not have a counter, since the hatch will spawn regardless, if the killer is losing or if the killer is winning.

  • But green ranks killer were faced with high rank survivors in theirs swf. The matchmaking is busted, I'm pretty sure they are lying about this "6 ranks hard cap", that's why you're matched with brown ranks.

  • Either endgame build or 4 toolboxes.

No. The same frame rate, the same mobility, and giving us a chance to play them before getting beat with the nerf bat. We would like to have a lil fun too. If you play on console, obviously you know some characters play A LOT different then on PC, and they've done nothing to fix this. What balances certain killers out on PC doesn't always work on console because of the frame rate. Try blinking with nurse, or running with Billy or oni, or throwing hatchets w huntress, then compare it to PC. And don't tell me console can't handle the graphics, cause that's a load of BS. Hell, even regular chases the frame rate drops horribly. The game needs some serious TLC for us console players.

I play often on console and I don’t see these problems (except with Nurse, but that’s just practice and many console nurse main can confirm it). Like ruin being so strong due to bad frames is bullshit.

The game is still playable, and i’m an huntress main, just practice.

Then all console players should rightfully be angered for the performance update promised for December 2018, yet never arrived. But that’s another story.

So youre really complaining that people are outdoing game mechanics, while you do literally do the same? Iam not saying thats its right do plug out the cable, but you shouldnt be so entitled to get you 4k, cause thats not how the game is designed.

What? Do you think that slugging is an exploit like dc for hatch? Also the game original design got lost years ago, and what does it even means that the game is not designed to 4K?

Well docotr already has both... xD

Don't know if you’re trolling, but in case you’re not: the shock is super inconsistent, most of the times survivor can still do the actions despite being shocked. As for the looping ability, let’s be serious, since he’s slowed down in shock mode, and as he’s shocking, it takes you like 6 shocks to make the survivor drop the pallet (and the hit is not sure).
