Simple solution to make the game last longer?

So most people will agree that matches can go way to fast because of how fast gens can be done

But everyone who plays survivor will also agree that making the gens go slower would make the game a lot more boring

Why don't we add time to the end game then?

For example when all gens are fixed the exit gates will slowly power themself, after 2-3 minutes they open and EGC starts

That way the match is extended with more chases and stealth instead of m1 simulator

    That's a little long. Maybe just 90 seconds but that's a good idea

    If survivor stealth, and the killer has no point where to search them, you will never find them, except with whispers.

    You mean after the gens are done, the survivors don't have anything to do and wait for 2 minutes until they can escape? That won't work. Survivors will just randomly hide on the map and wait for these 2 minutes to pass. Super boring for everyone.

    Yep I agree. Same with corrupt intervention if all gens are blocked at the start

    I can see how that would be the case yeah

    Maybe if crows would apear above your head and it give sound queues to the killee like it would if you remain in a place for too long?

    Or would that be to much?

    For me personally it would be okay, but there are also a lot of players who prefer to play stealthy. I'm afraid too many people would not like this.

    I mean there will never be a solution that everyone will like

    if anything having 2 minutes or something of hide and seek might make thlse players happy while the ones that don't like aren't affected that much

    I'm not even sure how often it will come up that survivors will hide for the full time before the exit gates are open

    Most of the time the last gen get's completed when the killer is in chase

    When the killer catches that person and hooks them how many survivors would still just hide in a corner then?
