new Ruin is pretty bad, but I think it's still a hex perk because is a hag teachable, and hag perks' gimmick is being hexes.
-
Noed has many downsides while adrenaline is by far better, with many godlike side effects.
-
Yes. It seems you get back half your auric cells because from each level or so you get back 50 auric cells, which is in order to prevent you insta finishing the rift.
-
Just because a perk is decent on already strong killers (except legion who's just bad) doesn't mean it's good. Also, the major protest isn't due to the ruin nerf, it's something more important...
-
I never had such problems, DBD is still the only game where my controller ever randomly disconnected tho...

Discounted more than the usual 10%, you mean?
Yes, I saw one of Ace's "playboy" set at 300 or also ranger billy at 300.

I didn't check the individual pieces, but the full outfits definitely weren't discounted (in cells or shards, because cells is what I was checking for).
I've checked it and as I thought only full outfits with cells are discounted. But since I've never bought a cells-only part I don't know how the discount would apply (but I think that the full outfit actually saves you cells).
-
So I didn't load the game, but from what I can remember, every time there's a discount that discount is referred only to the price in auric cells and only on the full outfit, not the singular pieces.
but I'm not sure if that's the issue.
-
I think the least they can do is discounting the chapter on the current Tome.
-
The increase of NOED usage.
but seriously, Lery's is really cool but is basically the same, and they reintroduced the super safe pallets, and all the major flaws remain.

You're joking right? Stance as switching was 1 second and you could immediately lunge after, now you can't shock and lunge or break a pallet you're stuck for 3 full seconds.
Of course I'm joking, also you could stance switch even before the shock reached the survivor saving you time.
-
How is that a nerf?
He doesn't have to switch anymore, instead there's a 3 second long delay. <3
-
In game like these would be impossible to have a strong AI unless making it very unfair, with like person-impossible inputs or aim bot on huntress or shenanigans like these.

Thanks for your help.
I thought of that. However, it can only help calculate the time you spent in matches and not the total time spent in the game including lobbies etc. I've been trying to work out how many hours I've spent in the game (including lobbies), which is why the way steam calculates them would give me a more accurate answer.
Unfortunately it it looks like people are not really willing to share this info, which I understand.
Yes, sadly I guess we won't know it in a short time. Also because I don't know if the amount of hours would be retroactive.
also, my method of calculating should also include the 300 XP bonus per day on both role. It's still a decent method to know AT LEAST how many hours you've played, which is actually what determinate your skill level. You can add a rough 2 minutes lobby time per match (or per 500 XP).
-
From what you can read on the player's level, you need 352470 XP for 100 levels. Since roughly a 10 minutes game awards you 500 XP, you can do the math.
-
Gotta fight fire with fire. I'll only do the rift killer challenges, basically only farming/throwing the game.
-
Why all these false hopes? Also even if that's the plan, isn't this our beloved "soon"?
-
Such a bland changes recap, most of the buffs and nerfs aren't equal, also some of them are generic.
-
Old Decisive was arguably better to deal with, borrowed receive its 4th buff in a row, mettle of man was uncounterable, it isnt a nerf.
-
There’s no logic behind, just strong survivor favor.
-
Yeah, y'all should enjoy insta grab doc and forever doc on Gideon's 'til it lasts.

This change to ruin makes it easier for new people to enjoy the game. Good change to get more people into this game. I applaud the devs for this because they knew they'd get pushback but it's for the best.
New people won't enjoy the game at all if nobody plays killer, OMEGALUL.
-
You should understand that screaming in the first minute of the match is so broken...
-
Yes, if you could be able to split up in 4.
-
Because survivors speed up perks don't effect cleansing tot... ehm.
-
Y U so biased??
Making snap out easier was totally the priority.
-
The prompt for picking survivor up isn't always easy to get, you may ask to vault a window or kick a pallet instead, time in which the survivor could free himself. Otherwise you may want to not pick up the survivor immediately, because ds or because you want to use pop before or because you want to slug.
-
From what I understood you were close to a hook, because not wiggling off with 3 body blocks means you're very close. For how the game works, you can body block a hook from two position: slightly behind the killer (in his hooking animation) or under the hook (where you can pull out the infamous """tech"""). My assumption is that either the two survivors who took the early hit were still compenetrate with themselves or the killer, which works like whatever game with I-frames, or just miscalculated the position.

I've also seen the post about it on leaks, but I thought it was a mistake because I also remember seing something around 27th or 17th.

And here is the confirmation ;) It's not on 7th :(
Actually I'm relieved knowing the rifts won't come out in a row. So that people can breath a bit. Which is actually the major flaw in CTR:NR Grand Prix.

This is the problem, ALWAYS or NEVER doing something without thinking of all situations. As you can see in just a few examples above people can die because of 99 gates.
Like I said in my OP, when someone is already in hook and you’re planning to organize a save that’s a good time to 99.
The only reason you could die because gates were 99ed is if you're chased by the killer and you have to open the door, but if he catches you, he would have caught you anyways.
-
You should always 99 gates, it’s better if there’s a survivor near the exit to open it, as the last survivor arrives, probably chased by the killer.
if you open the gates, there’s not enough time to heal and organize a save.
-
No, it’s the same with auric cells.
-
I mean, somehow we discovered that Claudette was in the autism/asperger specter and that the Trapper didn't like his father (despite what there's written in his lore), so they can come up with basically anything.
-
If killer camps his ruin you just need one survivor to roam around as the others rush the gen...
-
Do you want one of my thousands clips where I hit the back of the unhooking survivor but the hooked survivor somehow takes the hit?
-
Technically yes, these challenges couldn't be completed without DLCs perks.
-
The most colorful frogs or butterflies are the most poisonous. This law of nature works the same in DBD.

yeah, im not gonna make it far enough to get back all of my cells.
That's why I bought it when I reached level 70.

borderline impossible to fast vault, same with the variation of the red forest 4 walls. When you have the window on the outer wall its nearly impossible to fast vault it from the inside lane
Actually I've seen some fast vaults that goes against any crap they told us about momentum or angle, so I don't know anymore.

Not every survivor runs those perks, and sometimes that survivor had no control over their teammates getting destroyed by the killer (I seen this happen very often with Kindred when the killer does the basement challenge).
Currently, without both players using perks, items, and add-ons. Assuming the killer is 115% and they don't use their power at all, the survivor has a 16% chance of survival during the EGC. Most sacrifices are due to Exit Gates spawning on the same wall, which renders the survivors odds to 0% for most games. Do you think that's fair? Do you think the killer should get the last 25% of their objective because they sacrificed 75% of their objective?
And most of the times killer has no control over the loops or the game progression.
Yes is it fair. If you somehow fail to survive you don't deserve to win the game, accept it. Just like as killer you should accept to lose some games.

That is just bad thinking, it is very unfair, that no matter how skilled you are you will lose... Like being in a running competition, but some guys are allowed bikes, would you just accept that?
I know, but the math is against you. What can we do? Every answer we get is either "know issue" or "soon".
-
Just accept that in this game, no matter what you do, you're gonna lose some matches.
-
In fact there's already a survivor meta, basically claudette. But since the hitboxes are the same, I'm fine.
-
the survivors deserve a chance
Unbreakable, deliverance, dead hard, last minute decisive, adrenaline off the hook and adrenaline unbreakable, hatch even with 5 gens left, super distant doors like Lery's, keys.
Yes, survivors clearly deserve a chance...
-
Buying time for your other team mates, who maybe need to open the other gate.
-
Whoever doesn't like to win.

From what I’ve seen lately hardly anyone has been asking for Legacy skins. It’s mostly just players wanting the fps issues with certain killers fixed(myself included) killers like Nurse, Doctor, and Hag can feel impossible at times to play well with because the frames drop and the game becomes choppy for everyone to the point where it’s difficult just to simply hit someone.
Ah yeah, the fps change that was meant in December 2018... also trust me, when devs announced the release of almost every giveaway code skin, many cried for legacy.
-
Pretty useless considering it's hard to fast vault and the killer can easily catch up to you. No wonder why few people knew its existence. But, it's the 4th window on The Game, bamboozle meta right now!

Are you saying console doesn't deserve changes?
I'm saying that half of the console related threads are people begging for legacy, or the chance to change their names or new skins. If they don't start complaining against all this crap, devs will only see them like the golden goose they are.
-
Sure, let's add one of the top 4 survivor perks in the base kit, what could happen? I mean, Nurse base kit wasn't fine right? but this sure will be!
