Ruin, NOED vs. Adrenaline, Unbreakable, Borrowed Time: What''s the Difference?

A lot of people is saying that NOED and Ruin is a crutch perk, what about the so called famous "Meta's". Speaking of meta's, killers don't really meta's, and if they do why do people call them a crutch perks? Is that another way of saying meta? Really Adrenaline and Noed does the same-opposite thing, so wouldn't Noed be a meta? Or maybe its just survivors limiting what we can use, have you notice that mostly all powerful killer perks are called crutch perks. Maybe killers aren't killing survivors, maybe survivors are killing killers.

  • All these perks have been stated to be crutches by players in the past ๐Ÿ™Š.

What about the present and future. Times change.

  • Also why complain about any of these if its all the same?

  • They're not the same. They're five completely different perks. *shrug*

  • Noed has many downsides while adrenaline is by far better, with many godlike side effects.

  • Is this a troll? NOED and Adrenaline are called "crutch" perks only by the unskilled community, because these perks actually work on them. Good killers beat survivors that don't have 4 perks, and good survivors crush killers that don't have 4 perks.

Ruin was never "crutch" perk, good survivors simply cleansed the totem, and the perk was required to make most of the killers even viable against the current repair speed.

  • They still are known as that to some.

DS has been changed 3 times so far.

BT has been changed before as both survivors used to be under the effect.

NOED used to not be a hex and last for the rest of the match it has been changed a few times.

Adrenaline was made part of Exhaustion so it doesn't stack with the other perks.

Ruin was buffed as it never used to lose 5% when hitting a skill check.

Unbreakable isn't in the same vain as its one time use and can be removed by not slugging. It's only came back into the discussions due to DS. So it's still DS players hate not this perk.
