Unbreakable/ Soul Guard may be the go to if slugging becomes the Twins norm.
Was curious as to how OoO usage could spike with players looking to keep eyes on Charlotte while Victor is roaming about.
(not sure if Victor’s aura is visible with OoO also, and wether it switches back and forth between which of the Twins is being controlled? idk)
If Victor’s aura is also visible then OoO could prove very helpful for Solo survivors.

Nurse

Whispers always better provides the info in clutch situations to help locate survivors than Spies, imo.
Especially around hooks and gens, and in close proximity to exit gates when survivors are sneaking nearby trying to time the lever.

There are contractual obligations regarding the release that must be fulfilled.
Pushing the date back would violate the terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties, therefore causing a legal dispute.

I actually thought you meant simultaneously tunneling them
Was going to say, any survivors who don’t run in separate directions when you’re chasing them could probably use a good tunneling, tbh

Sometimes on the post match screen (when you see your pip progression and your emblem awards) it will show that you’ve lost a pip. However, after you return to the character select screen, if you hover the cursor over your rank in the upper right corner you’ll see that you haven’t actually lost any pip for that previous match, despite what the pip progress under the emblem awards displayed on the previous screen following the load DC. That could be considered a glitch.
Also, if you find that you really did lose a pip over another player’s load DC, then it’s certainly a glitch and should be reported in the “Bug reporting” section of these forums appropriately (video evidence helps greatly).
EDIT: Bug Reporting Link https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

Sometimes having the companionship of a supportive friend watching the match and voice chatting with you is helpful, as well.

Playing some feel good music I enjoy lightly in the background of my matches helps me to a certain extent in remaining mentally sound.

Wooah, 500%
That’s like lunging thru the entire shack

If you don’t participate in the farm, the other survivors will often point you out to the killer when they see you from hook.
Usually, you can get 3 gens done before they are out of hooks (that is, if they are messing around with hitting and healing).
Hopefully, if 1 gen was completed at the start of a match, there’s the chance you could get that 5th gen completed. Tho they usually will have found you by then, thirsty like BP vampires to farm you for your 2 unhooks, especially after you took all the gen points they wanted to get together with you by 99ing all the gens for max points then completing the 5 to open the gates.
I enjoy the occasional farm. It’s a refreshing break from the relentless brutality of everyday Solo queue.
-
Yeah. I got booted from several matches.
While at Rank 1, each time I was kicked, I noticed that I lost the normal pip. Then, after pipping up back to 1, when I shut the game down and restarted the next day, each time I had dropped from Rank 1 back down to rank 2 **** (and 4 pips).
Others have noticed this, but there hasn’t been enough talk about it anywhere for devs to look into it.
So, it’s like the double depip that used to happen when players were booted or intentionally DC’d (that the devs lessened to the current -1pip due to players intentionally DCing to derank) is still in the game, it’s just unnoticed to everyone who isn’t checking their pips everytime they start the game.
Since I was rank 1 it was easier for me to notice I dropped a rank.
-
They can do whatever they want.
Why anyone thinks devs have to consult their playerbase for approval is just silly.
It’s always thoughtful of them to notify us about anything.
People will think and feel whatever they want, wether for or against Behaviour, at any given time, while in any random mindset or emotional state they happen to be in, regardless of what the devs do or don’t do.
BE and their personnel are not the mindless inconsiderate imbeciles that far too many people are trying to make them out to be.
They are well aware of the tricks and tactics of human beings, especially those who aim to get what they want how they want it.
-
Devs have already stated that their firmly against any kind of killer that could assume the likeness of survivors. That’s why John Carpenter’s The Thing has been ruled out as a possible future addition.
Mimic esque killer would make things interesting tho

Is PS5 in black also, or jus white?
My PS4 is black but I got white skin for it.
I wanna make my PS5 purple, wish they jus made them in a variety of colours like android phones😔
I love the PS5 design tho an don’t mind the white really, jus wondering.
This is the PS5 design I was hoping for👇🏽

Not only took me 10 minutes to find a match (PC, Europe), I get green and purple ranked team mates and killers who cry about "genrushing" even though that's the only thing you're supposed to do.
I have 3.6k hours in this game, and it just gets worse and worse.
Why is it taking me 10 minutes to find a match with people who aren't even my rank color? If I was waiting less than a minute to match with these, sure, but 10 minutes? bruh.
And what is up with killers being toxic (nodding, hitting on hook, facecamping) for "genrushing"? What do they expect survivors to do?
Yep, that screenshot is the story of my DBD life lately as far as matchmaking goes.
-
Everyday.
Both roles, tho I haven’t seen any surviving solo before, or know any to have solo queued. Not sure how often they go solo, but I’m sure they do.
-
Jaws... The Exorcist... even films like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Good Will Hunting are over 25 years old and are laced with some of the best dialogue throughout.
As far as slashers are concerned, it’s not really certain any slasher films have masterful scripts; they’re not notorious for their dialogue, never were, probably won’t ever be.

Haha I'd love a dbd kart racer. Like each racer still has their killers power. Hag can teleport, Billy gets speed boost, Trapper just traps other karts in maddening fashion. Spirit's kart just randomly slows down and appears somewhere else.
When I need a break from dbd, I've been playing mario bros 35 on switch. It's possible i've played this more than the original on NES.. Crazy experience for any 80's baby.
Luv me some Mario Kart❣️
Crash Team Racing is great as well!
That’s similar to what I envisioned, as far as the special abilities go for the killers. I’d also like to see the traditional item cubes that can be grabbed for sabo’ing fellow racers’ karts. And I L💜VE Mario Kart tracks! Racing thru the entity’s realms in specially designed track maps for each character would be such a blast! Wish we could get this made😌
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon had Kombat Kart featured alongside the main fighting game. It was pretty tame, but really fun. I’d defs love to see DBD expand upon it’s universe with something light and entertaining that keeps interests for the franchise peaked, while simultaneously giving players a place inside the DBD arena to find solace from the everyday grind.

This is how I completed the challenge👆🏽
All 3 in less than 30sec
Must fall from a great height 3x in the same trial while being chased. As long as you hear the intense chase music like in the vid, you’ll receive credit on a great fall.
You don’t have to trigger Balanced Landing 3x’s, you just have to have the perk equipped.

Nurse is the best.
She doesn’t use her weapon and it’s just a so completely original, unlike any of the others, imo
-
I like this chase theme for Clown that Mr. Envy created.
I feel it fits him and his personality.
Some minor tweakage maybe, but overall it builds well and the intensity of the actual “chase” portion is horrific.
Makes survivors run even harder when they hear that menacing music just thinking of what Clown wants to do with their fingers😧

Okay so the reason I shared is not for sympathy, encouragement or validation. I figured the devs would want to know when a long-time player leaves vs someone with say a couple hours and and just decided it wasn't their cup of tea. If they don't care then w/e. My experience started out positive and has just became ruined over and over and over by how players literally ######### on each other during/after the game so I just decided enough was enough. If you're playing a game that is no longer fun to play because the others playing it actively trying to ruin the game experience for the others, then at some point you have to ask yourself why bother. I attributed my own experience to the state of the DBD community because overall the game can in fact be quite fun -- but the players just ######### on each other -- and I for one have more enjoyable things to do than to play a game that is no longer even remotely fun to play.
Just my two cents, ymmv. Peace.
That’s good... I wasn’t giving you any sympathy.
I do have Empathy for those who feel they want to quit, but never Sympathy for those who do quit.
It seems people on these forums are trying to understand why you and others who have permanently quit DBD are still here on these DBD forums continuing to talk about the game you are forever no longer affiliated with after sending the devs your farewell notice.
It’s like quitting a job and then showing up every day in the break room to share your feelings instead of just moving on to your new career and letting everyone at the job you quit enjoy their lunch in peace every day before going back to work at the job they all are happy with.
I do believe the devs care.
While I would imagine they hope those who come to the forums to post these notices will be persuaded to stay and play, I equally as much feel they would prefer those who are quitting the game forever and potentially leading others to do the same would just move on.
Peace to you too, I hope you find the community that suits you better.
Wherever you go, have GGs ✌🏽

As a musician, I can crank out songs like the flow of water. Along with this flow comes seasons of drought. I imagine it’s the same for all creative artists, even those on the graphic design team.
Not every melody will satisfy everyone’s tastes, and not every song on the album will be a hit.
I understand exactly what you mean regarding the similarities in outfits. There are those that light me up in every way, then I expect more of those.
The outfits that are merely recolors are like remixed music tracks; same base product just a different flavour to it.
Tho, with each album, the objective is to supersede what was done on previous records while staying true to who you are as an artist. So, one would expect there would be more hits to the design team’s customizations as opposed to the high level of remixes they have generated over time.

Why do people feel the need to announce that they're going to quit? I see so many posts like this and I don't see the point of them. We know there are toxic people in the community, you're not telling us anything we don't know.
When they’re ready to quit, they’ll jus quit.
These posts seem more like a 2 week notice so we can all say our goodbyes and then convince them to stay and continue on in the DBD community.
I personally believe many want to keep playing, have a series of bad matches within a condensed timeframe, then immediately post here in the forums to vent out the frustration.
I’ve had friends who wanted to end their lives and they opted to “vent it out” in this manner.
I’ve also had friends who didn’t vent, said nothing to anyone, then shocked everyone when they abandoned their life and all of ours, as well.
So, I understand these posts. I feel we all can relate to some extent. If anyone can be helped into a better mental state, then it’s always good to try and do so for them. Even if it’s just a video game, people can have something deeper going on, within, that reflects their outward projection.
I say keep playing.
If you find yourself too worked-up over DBD, then find another game that doesn’t negatively impact your well being... many times that means playing only on a team who will always have your back (ie. not solo/killer) or avoiding multiplayers all together.
Usually they’ll feel better after they get it all out if their system, then refresh, recharge and continue playing in some format.
The handling of stress and anxiety varies from person to person, tho.

I’m so over this crap!!
Match starts.
Take a few steps.
Try to get my bearings.
Hear the TR.
Still trying to get my bearings AND now try and see WHERE the friggin killers is so I KNOW where I can/can’t hide.
Too late, spotted before I have my bearings.
15 to 30 seconds haven’t even passed.
I really don’t care what the majority consensus is, when this happens to me I just take it and hook suicide. Chases will never be my strong suit, so starting matches like this is just not fun. Not one bit. And matches are more frequently starting like this lately, and it’s completely pissing me off.
Killers, look, I get it. It’s not fun for you when you don’t even spot a survivor before 1, 2, or even 3 gens pop.
But THIS: the extreme OPPOSITE kinda crap isn’t fun for survivors either. Quite frankly it’s BS!!!
Yeah, happens to me often.
Totally understand the frustration.
Possibly jus coincidence, but nearly everytime it’s usually Bubba trotting over ready to saw me up, Freddy or Legion that seem to start within 20 meters of me.

The currently playing with/recently played with feature seems to be buggy on PS5.
Aw, hopefully that feature will end up intact, sometimes I like to check who’s who as far as killers go. Won’t be getting my PS5 til next year anyway, but it’s such a sweet setup an I jus love talking about it!

Pretty sure that being able to see who plays as the killer got removed as a whole because of the addition of dedicated servers.
So i don't think PS5 players cam see who plays the killer either
Yeah, I figured that was why. Wasn’t sure if PS5 had a built in tech that was able to bypass that or not. Not necessary, but it would be nice.

I was lucky enough to get a PS5 this past Thursday, and had taken a long break from DBD. Decided to try out DBD on it because of the technical preformance update. And honestly...it feels like an actual game now! There were so many framedrops on PS4, some killers near unplayable. But after playing it again for a couple days I had zero frame drops. Not even on a killer like Blight. Nicely done devs, it has made me enjoy the game much more after such a long break 😺
Can you see who the killer is in lobby by using the “Currently Playing With” feature on PS5 like we used to be able to do on PS4 before the change last year that disabled it?
or is there any other PS5 exclusive feature that lets you see who the killer is if their profile is public?
-
Super props!
You did it w/o Bbq or Infectious too, so no need to credit rank reset, you earned your 4K.
Keep going, it tends to be a back and forth struggle along the way, but it gets better, for sure, well done

That’s GGs
Next time, try an clip it so we can all enjoy the victory.

A christmas tree and a fireplace with 4 stockings would spawn either in the main building or killer shock.
Killer hooks survivors ( could be special ones or just any hook ) then they can deliver coal to the stockings. Each piece of coal gives a 25% bloodpoint gain to everyone.
4 Presents would spawn around the maps ( only a couple locations to keep the rng to a minimum ) and survivors would have to deliver those to the tree. For every present delivered an addon of green or better rarity is awarded to everyone post match ( or could be an item in the survivors case)
For every event objective completed by both sides, everyone in the match would recieve event tokens, up to a maximum of 8 per match. Those could get ya any event outfits released for the event.
Thank's for coming to my TED talk
idek if you’re serious or not, but I absolutely LOVE this idea!
wish there was a way to bump this up to the devs and get it circulating around the atmosphere at BE.
-
Not bad.
Kinda in the vein of For the People. I like that altruism and generosity aspect.
Many survivor’s take the chance to escape, so for them, with slippery meat and Salty Lips equipped, could make for easier Kobe points.
This discussion’s probz gonna get moved to suggestions area btw, so any devs checking out perk ideas will have the opportunity to see it.
Just have to figure out the 3 tier set-up for Grave Sacrifice and add it to your post (ie. perks have 30/60/90 second cool downs, or 5%/10%/15% increases, etc.)
-
...and I say you can, and you will
a li’l patience goes a long way in this game,
all the way up to Rank 1
Keep going!

First killer match was with Nurse on MacMillan.
Couldn’t figure out the blink so I jus floated around, chasing distantly behind the survivors, hitting a few of them.
I remember I was kinda sad when I couldn’t leave through the exit with them.
One of the most exciting matches I’ve played tho. I knew then that Nurse was going to be my all time fav killer to play as.
-
First time I played DBD was survivor (Nea) on one of the Backwater maps.
The killer was Spirit. Truly awesome experience seeing her ghosting around the Swamp... she creeped me out a bit. The first time she hooked me I followed the “take chance to escape” message, transitioned into 2nd hook phase, then missed the struggle prompt and that was that.
I had no idea what I was doing and remember I kept getting hate messaged by a rank 17 player during the match.
Basically, first match ever and I was welcomed into DBD with Toxicity😔
Had fun tho, actually enjoyed the eerie, spooky atmosphere, and uneasiness about what was going to happen.
Would be great to experience that again in DBD.
