NOED is a crappy cheese, and the only perk I consider a crutch for Killers. It a cheesy “Comeback” perk that rewards failure. Sure, the game isn’t balanced and Survivors are too strong, thanks to Gen Rushing being too easy to pull off, thanks to Looping making it a nightmare to catch anyone. However that’s not justification for a perk like NOED.
Good Killers can be cucked by bad map balance, bad mechanics, unbalanced Survivor perks, this is true. However the opposite is also true. Killers who are legitimately bad at the game can easily get carried hard by NOED. Killers that absolutely do not deserve to get much can get a ton.
Take this Huntress for example:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hwMKJtVdFeYCouldn’t land a hatchet throw to save his life. Missed even regular swings. Spent the whole match just trying to tunnel one dude out. Got one other person... Then NOED. Snowballed the whole damn team. You may use the defense of “break the totems!” I did, but only a SWF can coordinate knowing if they broke all 5 totems. It’s really unrealistic to expect 4 randoms to make sure they got all 5 totems.
I for one would rather the balance the game and get rid of crutches like NOED. It’s just not fair legitimately bad Killers can get carried by one perk. Same as DS, it carries bad Survivors.
Side Note : Honestly when it comes to SC, they just need to give it limited uses. The whole reset to zero thing is kind of stupid imo. It’s the Killers fault in the first place the Survivor got away and was able to self care. YOU as the Killer failed to track your prey properly. The problem with self care really is how little it means to be injured while body blocking. The developers just need to limit it to 3 uses l, so Survivors have to be more judicial.
Lastly, Spint Burst needs a change that you have to be running for 3 seconds before it activates imo. That way it doesn’t just cuck Ambush Killers so hard.
Doesnt that mean self care rewards failure? You know, with the getting hit and all...
That is bad interpretation.
You cannot design like that.
It is there, because it is neededNeeded? Maybe.
To good? 100% yes. -

DS will still free you from the killers grasp. this works ONLY when you hit a tremendously hard skillcheck, once per match and for the obsession.
All those "hard skillcheck" is doing NOTHING to balance the perk.
Because the problem is with good survivor. Those will hit the skillcheck anyway. These are the player that just ignore Ruin and power through it with great checks.
It only punishes lesser skillful player that struggle to hit those skillchecks.
DS would remain a red rank issue. -

"Proximity camping" is more close area patrolling to me.
That's the most common encountered definition of camping styles.
And anybody using the term "facecampng" for regular camping is outing himself as a noob. You're right. People have too many terms for "types" camping, I'd honestly prefer the umbrella term "camping", with "face camping" for the now-removed exploit and call it a day.
Hard camping
Soft camping
Stealth camping (Insidious, cloak or No-TR-Myers)
Proximity camping (aka patroling )
Gen camping (protecting your objective)
Trap camping (using a trap near a hook)
Range camping Huntress, Billy, Nurse)
Basement camping (using the basement)
Totem camping (protecting Hexes)
Bleed out camping (aka slugging) -

Again… "facecamping" made unhooking technically impossible no matter what risk you took.
That was an exploit that got removed.
If you don't like getting camped, fine, but stop using the term "facecamping". -
True "facecamping" made unhooking IMPOSSIBLE. Like real technically not possible.
Not risky, not challenging, not dangerous, not a 100% trade on hooks, but NOT possible by any means. Even when the killer player goes afk.
That was "facecamping". And that does not exist anymore. -

The biggest problem with freddy is that he can't protect anything. Gens, totems, hooks... anything. That's universal and has nothing to do with platform. How do you fix that? You can't unless you rework the dream state entirely. Then hes no longer Freddy.
Luckily he can sneak up on victims and he has a quicker vault and lunge. However, sitting at 15-20fps on consoles makes his lunge less useful, or to put it in other words, requires more planning and practice to use properly.
1st: The biggest problem is healing on the ground by awake victims + bodyshielding from awake victims.
2nd: Simple fix to protect things, give Freddy the ability to grab people when they enter transitionstate.
3rd: He has the same lunge and vault as any other killer. (Prove me wrong if you can)
1- that's what I said. He can't protect anything. Including the 1 situation you decided to call out. However, his problem, not being able to interact, is larger than just that 1 situation.
2- So your solution is to rework how the transition happens. That's kind of what I said. If I'm understanding you correctly, your solution is that victims are considered asleep if a grab action happens but not in any other case. While that might solve some problems it doesn't seem very intuitive.
3- Oh Damn. I've been challenged. Did you guys see him slap me with that gauntlet?
Is that right? I seem to recall he had a longer lunge and faster vault when released. Maybe they changed it and I missed it. At the direction of the devs I played Civilization for 6 months and just came back a few months ago so maybe something changed or maybe I misheard in the first place. Either way, you're so adamant, and I care so little, that I assume you could be right.
- I think it is a different thing.
- He can already grab people from locker, why not just grab em from every activity if they re in dream transition?
- Freddy NEVER had longer lunge or faster vaulting, that's an urban legend.

Guess what? A "kill" is when a survivor … DIES! mindbowing
Kills = wins
Killer should get judged by their ability to kill and survivor by their ability to survive.
The whole emblem system is just a big smokescreen.
Your pip logic is flawed from the get go, because ranking up is beneficial to survivor, because they get more experiencedand better teammates that will screw up less and make the game easier.
For the killer ranking up makes things worse, since killer are reliant on the survivors mistakes. No a kill is a sacrifice or a mori. By emblem, victory cube, and bloodpoint standards. The game has never rewarded the killer in any way for someone bleeding out. You can make up whatever rules you want, THAT IS A FACT.
Killers are judged by the Entity at the end of the game based on their overall performance. That's what the pip system is for and why they took away victory cube.
Keep lying to yourself. You don't have a leg to stand on.
lol
Someone being dead and not survive is of course not a "kill", he just decided on his own to stop breathing.^^If you slug all 4 surivors and let them bleed out, do you get points for it? Devout? Will you rank up? Answer is no, no, and no, so you can't claim the kill as yours if they bleed out. If you think it is a kill then you are just making ######### up, because the game doesn't reward at all for it.
The reward is in the dead survivor itself.
If you can't see that, it's your problem.
I don't care how they died as long as they are dead. That's a kill in my book.^^
You can complain about it all you like, but it is just about your entitlement to not get slugged. XD -

How do you "work around" decreased speed while UNCLOAKED?
That's basically reduced speed during any regular chase(!?)The new Windstorm only decreases your speed while you are transitioning to uncloaked. So you mitigate it by running Swift Hunt to make your uncloaking time faster. Ergo, you spend less time in the nerfed speed. The Windstorm perk is very clear, its UNCLOAKING speed, not UNCLOAKED. If it's not doing this, there is clearly a bug that needs to be fixed

You do know I’m a Myers main right? His add-ons are extremely powerful, thing is that you gotta put in the effort in the match to get use out of his add-ons. It’s not going to just be GIVEN to you. Although he does somewhat struggle in SWF groups. Using an infinite Tier 3 can be very helpful if you can pair it with J. Myers Memorial.
I don’t like Nurse because her fatigue is annoying and the blinks are wonky on PS4. Not to mention she is slow as a slug.
Billy is a lot easier to use, but he’s just not my favorite. Certainly better than Leatherface however.
The “lesser killers” I like are Freddy and Hag. Is Spirit considered a weak killer? Because I use her pretty frequently as well. She’s definitely climbed up my killer list.
Thx that you try to stay reasonable.
And no, I don't know that you are a "Myers main", by the post I read from you so far, I was expecting you to not play killer at all and that you are most likely a survivor main anyway. :P
Maybe this is a PC vs console issue, because you play on PS4.
Some people say that certain killer are better/worse to play on console and that the gameexperience with these killers can differ a lot depending on where you are playing.
Some people even say it is about the skill and competitive playerbase that cause the differences.
I play PC only, so I can't judge it.
Most people I heard consider Spirit weak, especially versus better player.
Same is true for Freddy... he is a great noobstomper but sucks versus high ranks. -

I personally think that Pig kinda sucks, but other people perform really well with her. shrugMost things are not just about specific reworks, but general killerbuffs that are needed.
Myers is a definite top tier killer and balanced nicely. His add-ons have big drawbacks because they are pretty brutal on survivors. I mean having the option of taking a survivor out of the game in one move without hooking is pretty damn nice. He is the only killer who can do that. That’s the reason why it takes Myers so long to get to EW3 with a Tombstone. He won’t be getting to EW3 anytime soon unless survivors literally let him. Maybe the “tremendously” can be knocked down to “considerably” but it’s a very powerful add-on regardless.
Ok, calling Myers top tier says more about your skill level of play than about the balance of killer.
It’s kind of obvious that he is one of the top tier killers. Nobody is gonna argue about Nurse/Billy being #1 and #2. The rest are debatable.
Myers is one of the most balanced killers in the game. Of course if you’re trash with his ability you aren’t gonna do great. I’m GOD AWFUL with the Nurse but I’m not saying “Nurse is unbalanced and a trash killer”.
Myers is mid tier at best. Only survivor player call him balanced, because they have an easy time against him.
My bad is, I am not good with the top killer. I hate playing the Nurse and her fatigue makes me sick.
And I have those uncontrollable flicks with Billys chainsaw, that other seem to get under control, but unfortunatly not me.So I am stuck playing the lesser balanced killer.

So how's it rigged again, oh wait it's not rigged and that Straw Man fell as flat on it's face as the flat earth theory.
SWF on voice com is unbalanced and borderline cheating.
You can keep whining about it all you want, it won't ever be called cheating unless and until the devs say it is, so get over it and stop blaming that for your gameplay.
Why should I accept it as a given?
Because that's the reality, just because you don't like it doesn't change the fact that's it's reality.
Every buff for killer the people complain about "but that would ruin the game for solo survivor", but that would only be 30% of the player… choose one, you can't have both.
So now it's well it'll ruin it for solo survivor choose well then if the majority says swf which is the majority of the player base then what? Does that mean you'll stop complaining finally since you can't have it both ways. We both know the answer to that one, the game could be completely killer balanced and you'd still complain.
If you want to recite Devs, do it completely, 70% of all lobbies include SWF of some kind, but only 50% of all survivor join the lobby via the Play with friends option; including those that join solo (using the play with friends button out of habit or to avoid lobby bugs).
You're a broken record since I've stated that 70% number quite often and in response to you, yet now you conveniently forget that fact. But it doesn't matter if it was 90% solo, you'd still complain about it.
So your numbers are wrong, or better said "twisted" to support your point, which they hardly do.
So wait now my numbers are wrong yet you had no problem when they supported you just earlier in this very same post. You just twisted yourself into one very convoluted knot of doublespeak in just a short bit of a post.
Since it's obvious you'll go to any lengths to distort we can safely assume you're here for nothing else but to troll.
That is basically the online version of disrespectfully interrupting someone while he is talking.
But anyway, you still keep twisting things and this will continue with you.
