Mmmm... You are camping practically every single game. What a boring thing to watch.
"I'm going to try and chill by the hook" 18:02 - is the summary of your gameplay. No wonder you are falling asleep. I'm falling asleep too watching this.
Proxy camping and punishing unhookers is about the only thing he's decent at unfortunately, a bit like old bubba.
If you play him normally you're gonna have a bad time.
-
Yes solo survivor is just cancer. I've pretty much given up on it other than the one game per day to get bonus shards.
It's not worth the sanity loss to continue.
-
I'm a killer main because otherwise I have to play solo survivor at red ranks and it is the worst gaming experience.

Solo mod is really terrible. If your teammates do gens fast you will have win chance but most of them just not doing anything. That is maybe because of matchmaking i dont know. I am red rank but so rare we playing full red rank. Usually 2 red (or 1 red & 1 purple) & 1 green & 1 yellow. And that makes games hard for everyone. And you do not know about your team skills.
But swf is different. You know your friends skills. You are trusting them. You know everyone doing objectives. That makes game playable for survivors.
I know most killers blaming swf teams but i can not see any different for killer. Some of them are sweat teams but most of them just normal survivors. They are just playing with their friends. You can not force people to play solo. If you do that, people will stop play.
And also killers have high rates on all ranks. I do not know what killers waiting. %95 killing rates?
Absolutely. Solo is for masochists. I can only play a couple of games before I get so disgusted with either terrible team mates or scummy killers.
-
No. As others say it's a qol thing imo. I use a cross hair because I'm from the 90s and play a lot of fps shooters so a cross hair just feels natural to me.
-
I've really cut down on my gameplay the last couple of months.
Solo survivor is pretty much being kicked in the Nards for 15 minutes. It's basically you vs 4 other people including the killer.
As killer my games are either a complete cake walk because somehow at rank 1 I get matched against green and brown ranks or a 4 man swf who try to end the game in 5 minutes.
-
There's nothing to figure out. He does everything huntress can do but 8x worse.
He has the worst of both m1 and ranged killer worlds.
-
Yup.
I can usually tell if they have noed if they havnt downed anyone by the time 3 gens are done.
Usually this is the only way they can get kills and I just yeet myself out because I'm not feeding them easy kills for saves.
-
Moris are in a good spot right now. They don't end games in half the time anymore and are pure for fun.
People complaining about them are probably the same people who bring a map offering to Haddonfield with balanced landing
-
Huntress is better for the fact the hatchets have absurd hit boxes and no range limitations unlike death slinger.
It shouldn't be possible to hit people around corners with a hatchets...
-
To be honest I didn't know you could use hatch with a trap on until like last year...in red ranks 😶
-
Because it's a strong but scummy playstyle. It's not just twins, I've been 4 man slugged vs oni numerous times.

Spine Chill against naturally stealthy Killers (The Wraith, The Shape, The Pig, The Ghost Face, etc.) is overpowered.
1) One of the best perks in the game.
2) Unlike Premonition, constantly notifies you when the Killer is near and you don't have to face the Killer's direction.
3) Reduces stealth Killers to normal Killers with no maneuvers or abilities other than move and slash. (You'll have to use some skill without it and physically pay attention to your surroundings. Scary right?)
4) No cooldown or deactivation for the remainder of the trial after X seconds of total usage.
My suggestion, at LEAST for a test in a PTB:
1) Give Killers with small terror radii (does not actively have the Undetectable status effect) immunity to Spine Chill.
2) Give Killers with small terror radii a clause in their power that gives immunity to detection perks while actively using their power (mainly while The Shape and The Ghost Face are actively stalking -- they already suffer from decreased movement speed while stalking).
Devs, if you're reading this, at least try a test in a PTB to see how this would affect gameplay. I'm a huge Halloween fan and would like to see The Shape actually able to sneak up on people again.
Spinechill just shouldn't work when a killer is in undetectable mode, period. It used to work this way and it was stupid of them to change it.
It completely negates stealth Killers and the way maps are getting reworked with huge empty areas you can see across the map, stealth Killers are already in a bad spot without Spine chill.
For myers they could just reduce the range while he's in tier 2.
-
They've been broken for years now.
I can't even enjoy playing her on pc because the amount of hits I get when I CLEARLY shouldn't is just sad and I know how frustrating it is from the survivor side.
You basically aim in the general direction of the survivor and you will often get the hit.
-
Yes but the old corn was just the same imo
Corn maps suck no matter what.
-
They need to revert the pounce cool down to 3 seconds since they added another 2 seconds of him moving in slow motion after the cool down.
This is called a double dip nerf.
-
Its a nerf to first hook suicide! Now how will I insta get out of games where things don't go 100% my way!?
-
Poor ghostface, I'm sure it's pure hell to play him on this map even more than before.
-
I've played about 10 games today as twins.
The extra stun time sucks yeah but I never slug unless it's extremely convenient to do so so it doesn't bother me to much.
The no body blocking thing is stupid though. It added a bit of tactical thinking to them that is now lost.
Victor feels weird to use right now after his attack. It seems after his stun slow walk is over it takes him a few seconds to ramp back up to full speed, like he's trying to gain traction. Super janky feeling
-
I noticed that after pounce downing someone as victor, after the slow walk cool down is over there seems to be another few seconds where his speed ramps back up to full. Also, you can't switch back to charolette until you are back at "full speed"
Is this just me?
They just feel so janky right now
-
As others have said, that's the solo queue experience. Personally i can only handle a couple of solo games before I get frustrated and hop back to killer.
It's basically masochism.
-
I had a game on the new cold wind map where on one half the map there was literally 2 pallets. And they got broke early game...
-
I'm upset they removed collision from charolette. Placing her in front of door ways to cut off loops and herd survivors into dead zones was super rewarding.
-
It's the same in USA east coast in the evening and night. Survivor queues are at best 5-10 minutes. It's prime time and there aren't enough killers to fill all the games.
-
You've simply had a lucky break. Play some more solo games, maybe equip bond if you want a laugh. You'll get some absolute potatoe gems and wonder if humanity is worthy of space travel.
-
Twins have quickly become my main and I love how I can put constant pressure on the survivors and be at 2 different parts of the map.
Despite their camp and slug stigma, you can absolutely win without being a scum bag.

I've been using that and also tried Pop, but builds are pretty mediocre imo, i only 4K when survivors literally throw =/
Yeah pretty much. Trickster is a good noob stomper but the moment you get people who know to run to structures to avoid blades you become a 110% m1 killer.
This is why you need all the slow down you can get.
Alternatively you can use save the best for last but it's not as reliable as gen slow down.
-
Gen slow down is pretty much mandatory.
You're still going to struggle but I run bbq, ruin, undying, and monitor and abuse with mild success.
You can swap out undying with pop if you want.
-
They're all cuties except for nea.
I'm not sure why more people don't play Kate as well, she's fiiiiine.

The most I've ever done was be afk while swinging my weapon with a macro. Should I stop doing that?
I would avoid macros imo but it's probably ok since you aren't bypassing or manipulating any gameplay rules.
-
You won't get banned unless you are hacking or working with a survivor to kill the others.
Run whatever build you want. Play however you want. Just don't be an ass intentionally.
-
I would love this to be true. The new map is just hot garbage for most killers.

IMO, The only reason yellow bottles aren't more useful at tiles is with a lot of the map reworks and general balance changes to maps, most loops are simply not long enough where the value of both is needed.
The only tiles I can think of where both bottles are likely to make a difference are Shack and those long tiles that love to spawn on Cowshed.
Yeah pretty much. Again though, you can still just use two tonics to get the hit or pallet.I've not had a time at those loops where I wished I had used both. You either get the hit or they drop the pallet.
-
It's not even worth it during chases most of the time. The regular tonic is more useful at area denial than the negligible speed boost you get at loops with yellow bottles. Sure you can say "just use both" but you can literally get the same hits with 2 tonics and not have to bother with the timing of yellow bottles.
The only time I've gotten any consistant use from yellow bottles was catching up to shift w players in the open. It's nice to be able to throw a yellow down, then hit them with tonic so you can get the best of both worlds.

Truly. people want footage of actual clown gameplay.
Now i do dare say, Clown is a High B tier killer. this is what i'll prove,
Clown in the Right hands is truly a Scary Clown,
Exhibit A: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004446825 One with Perks / Addons / Offering,
Exhibit B: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004460178 One with No Perks / Addons / Offering.
Course every killer is countered by the .1% of Survivors, But hoping that watching Clown gameplay Changes some minds about what Tier he is,
(Probably not but worth the attempt,)
I only watched the first video so my comments are about that.
First of all, I can tell you're a good Clown by how you use the pink bottles.
Using yellow bottles mostly for traveling is a huge waste because you spend a large chunck of that time you "saved" by reloading more often.
There was only one decent looper on that team and it was ace. The rest (especially david) literally held shift w or tried to loop an extremely unsafe pallet which are easy prey for Clown.
Despite them being red ranks this was obviously a group of solos. David and claudette being red ranks is questionable but that's how the game ranks up survivors.
All in all this was an average game vs solo players for any m1 killer. They still got a respectable number of gens done despite being disorganized. I wouldn't consider it proof that Clown is any better than than one of the lowest. In fact I think if they looped a little bit better the outcome would have been drastically different.
Again, you did play Clown really well though so don't take any of this personally.
-
If it's a really popular one like scottjund or Tofu I might rewatch the match. But for all the other 6783 random ttv nobodies I don't bother because I don't care.
-
"Ghostface isn't just good at watching you when you're alone, he's also a very good listener. Behind that creepy plastic mask is a sweet shy guy just waiting to share his heart (and take yours). Ghostface is always there for you, usually peeping through a window or behind a corner, ready to meet your desires"
-
Oh absolutely.
The key is to not take this game so seriously. It's basically an adult version of smash bros.

Pretty much everywhere I go be it Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Tiktok, ect... Whenever the Twins are mentioned 99% of the time it's people saying they're bad. I think they have Clown beat in the most underrated killer at this point with the difference being Twins are IMO A+ tier. I'm not going to get into detail about Twins strategies but here's why they'll probably have a high kill rate:
- A tier Map mobility (Victor)
- S tier Map pressure (Can be in 2 places at once)
- S-B tier Chase
- A+ tier Gen Pressure
- C tier for perks since alot of them don't work with Victor but A tier for the one's that do work.
Look I'm not saying cough up the cash & play the Twins to see why they're so good, but watch some Twins gameplay & you'll see why they probably have a high kill rate.
They really are underrated and I agree with your ratings more or less. I think a lot of people are put off by their reputation as "the 5 gen slugger and camper" which is a shame because you don't have to play them like that.
-
Twins have quickly become one of my top killers to play right alongside bubba.
My favorite thing about them is being able to put constant pressure on survivors.
Victor can temporarily take someone out of the game while Charlotte chases another. That's two of four people guaranteed not doing gens. And it happens pretty much all game.
-
Brutal is good on paper but in practice is not because 20% of an already small number is a smaller number.
You would pretty much need to break every pallet on the map to get value from it. And if you're breaking every pallet then you are already wasting a ton of time.
I guess you could argue it pairs with pop goes the weasel but even then it's still not worth it imo. There are much better perks.
-
Don't do this. 4 man slugging is just the worst gameplay. I'd rather be face camped by bubba because atleast I'll get out of the match faster than being slugged the entire game.
-
If you do this so long they get afk crows be prepared to get a ban if they decide to report you because that is the definition of griefing.
-
Bubba all day.
He went from worst killer in the game to one of the best (if played correctly).
Billy went the opposite direction and is just a meh killer typically used as a meme now.
I cant even remember the last time I faced a billy.

Can we just turn this game into a dating app? I have a few players I want to take out on a date.
Agreed. Trapper reminds me of a sweet stay at home dad who's just trying to do right by his kids while also trying to find romance
-
@Hagravating said:
I'd have to go with Trapper because it usually goes two ways :
-He gets a basement hook and will proceed to camp it until whoever is down here dies
-He doesn't get basement and gets genrushed in 4 minutes
Either way it's pretty boring
This 100%. If you get downed near the basement you might as well die on 1st hook because he's gonna lock that place down.
-
We've been asking for fixes for literal years lmao
-
Ahh the joys of solo queue. A horror-themed dumpster fire. It's the reason i play killer most of the time.
I only play the bare minimum (shard bonus, tomes) these days because it really takes a toll on my will to play.
-
His addons are ok imo. Most of them are useful in some way
If anyone needs an addon pass it's legion.

The Twins were my my favourite killer since The Plague. I simply love their playstyle of being two places at once. Just got their adept yesterday and I'm happy being part of the 0,3% of people who got it :)
Yeah I love being able to be in two parts of the map at once. It puts constant pressure on survivors.
Another thing I noticed is that while playing them I don't get nearly as stressed as I do other killers.
