You won't play the nurse well if you only have 10 games with her. Play one entire week and come back, you won't say the same things.
Anyway, it took me a month to master her more or less. One week after that month of learning, I was decent, pretty dangerous, most of the game were 3k, with a lot of mistakes tho.
Now, 5 months later, I'm unbeatable, 4K every games, and choosing who to chase in the game to have 12 hooks, managing survivors' resources for them.
Concerning the lack of mobility, (I read 30s for Nurse and 24 for DeathSlinger), just put range blink add-ons. So 6 seconds less than other killers, but you end your chases so fast if you're good with her, way faster than the majority of killers. So you catch up by far the loss of 6 seconds of crossing the map.
Oh, and blinking through rocks, or scraps, etc, it's just a matter of charging milliseconds longer than what you did. Practice. While you are uncomfortable with her blinks, little loops like rocks would be your nightmare, then it will be another loop you don't care.
She's rough to play, to learn. Playing here as a nurse beginner is painful, and survivors will bully you, and you have to assume you'll lose a lot, don't play to win, don't play to tie play to learn her. Don't swing if you're not sure to land the hit. I won't say more, because there are nurse guides saying everything you have to know as a nurse.
And if you're really thinking Nurse is bad, well, go see SupaAlf videos, and OhTofu Nurse videos.
Gl hf
I have no doubt I'll improve after a week. The problem is I don't want to put in the effort simply because she has way to many problems that make her a hot mess to attempt to learn.
I like her power and game play, it's ok to be tough, but playing around her bugs is not fun and ultimately is why a lot of people don't play her I feel.

So I’m against the common thought posted on these forums, and the op as well, as I love Nurse right now. Before I go into more detail I highly recommend shadow born with her, it feels so much better.
I used to hate old Nurse, she was way to strong and felt to easy to play, now while she’s still the best in the game she feels more fair. I love landing perfect 1 blink hits. I also feel her power fine add on-less, and back to its good old self with cool down and range add ons.
As for the blinking with rocks, it just takes practice, you have to blink just a bit further than what it feels like it should be. It took me about 10 hours of just playing her to get the muscle memory down on blinks.
I get the frustration, but I personally love Nurse right now, and how fun she is to play.
Why do I need to hold blink longer if I'm going to blink through a rock? For other objects I just hold blink for as how "big" it is (if that makes sense) and off I zoom through it. Rocks just seem to be a blink ender for no apparent reason other than to annoy you.

Even completely bugfree it would not be worth to learn Nurse. You can have almost the same results with Spirit, which is way easier to learn. Even if Nurse would be bugfree, you would still feel like a total fool when starting to play her, trust me.
Not saying that those Bugs should not be fixed, they 100% should. But I highly doubt that the experience for someone who plays Nurse for the first time would be that much better.
You're probably right, she's a very high skilled killer for sure. If they would give her a QoL pass to get rid of atleast the most major bugs I feel she would be atleast a little more forgiving.

For the rock thing, it's simple you won't blink through it unless you charge enough to have your blink be put on the other side of the rock, so if you charge it a bunch but your blinks ends up a millimeter inside the rock you'll blink your face on the rock .
Inconsistent blink, that happens, sometime you'll look up to blink on a 2nd floor and you'll end up on the first floor, but it doesn't happen that often.
The pull toward object, it sometime happens and it's infuriating but i mean i've been away from DbD for like 2 months and was rank 13 killer ithink or a little higher and just made it to rank 6 playing mostly only nurse and 4k except 1 game in Lery's, she's still amazing but you need to learn how much charge get's you where, she's all about muscle memory.
Also you probably only played 1 game because you didn't talk about the blink bug, this happens once every 5-6 games.
I played about 10 games I think. Are you referring to the audio spam blink bug? No, it didnt happen to me but I've seen it first hand before. It's my understanding it's another one of those "sometimes it happens sometimes it doesnt" bug.

So you decide to play the by far hardest Killer to learn in the game and realize that it does take more than a handful of games to be somewhat good with her?
At this point, I dont know anymore...
Erm, no. If you read my post you'll see most of my complaints are bugs. I'm fine with putting time in to learn a new killer but the amount of issues with nurse make it not worth while.

I play alot of nurse and there are some flaws but once you get used to her she is amazing but that's my opinion on her she was better with more bliks before the nerf but I find if you use your first blink to catch up then use your second when u kow what direction they gonna go ur garteed a hit. I domt blink or chase in two story building midwich is OK tho once you get the aim right. I learnt to play her when I hit red ranks and yea it was hard to get the hang of her again hut there ain't many good nurses out there as it takes a bit of time amd alot of losses to learn her right.
I Feel like she probably is extremely good once you memorize all the work arounds for her bugs and "features", but I can't imagine putting that much time and frustration in her to get to that level. Seems like if they gave her some QoL fixes and changes it might be better.

Twins encourages slugging and camping which I think is a really poor way to design a killer. We have enough of that as is.
-
I just finished this challenge after about 10 games. They appear to just spawn randomly somewhere in the map like hatch. My last one was in the swamp near the edge not by anything.

Lol No you're not, you are over reacting a bit. Anless hunterss sniped you.
Don't even get me started with hatchet "Beach ball" hit boxes, that's a different can of worms that was made worse with this patch.
Also, no, this is no over reaction. Its every game. Have you not played this game since the patch? Go ahead and loop a killer with a window and tell me theres no hitbox or latency problems going on.
-
As a mostly killer main, I'll be the first to admit I'm getting several hits that I absolutely don't deserve. Hit while being pallet stunned is happening more than it ever has as well as window vault hits well after after survior completes the animation and is away from the window.
Theres also downsides for killer though. I've noticed my lunges are being pulled into objects and walls way more often since the update which often cause the chase to be extended.
-
This is big brain parenting right here.
-
It's bad right now. I'm also taking a break. The nail in the coffin for me is the completely absurd hits I'm getting as survivor. Every. Single. Game. I'm talking 5+ meter hits after a vault. Its simply unacceptable at this point and I've been playing since 2017.
-
They need to remove the penalty altogether. The only thing it does is ban legit players due to crashes they can't control. The DCers will either still DC or will die on 1st hook both of which screws the entire game anyway.

Yep,that's probably what annoyed most of the people in his other thread.
TheClownIsKing says that Clown is a good killer, many people think he's a bad killer.
So people want to see some video footage, but he refuses to do so and people get frustrated with that
This.
I like clown. He's my third most played killer. I do ok with him sometimes but more often than not it's a huge struggle. I dont claim to be an expert on him so when I see someone who claims to be onr with him, I would very much like to see this person make him work.
-
I've been getting a lot of undeserved hits as killer, especially through windows, for a long time now. Also hitting survivors after I've been pallet stunned, while good for me, is rage inducing for survivors.
I dont care what the devs say. Theres a serious problem with hitboxes. If it's "latency" then they need to do something about it because it's getting worse it seems.
-
Legion is better as long as the surviors aren't split up across the map the entire game, which doesn't happen very often.
He's basically an instant down killer because he can injury most if not all of the team very fast, and good surviors tend to not heal against him for this reason. And if they do heal, you just frenzy hit them again so their tine is wasted.
If you're looking for a good legion streamer to learn from, check out Raging Ryuga, he mains legion.

Aaaand I will re-iterate... @TheClownIsKing is winning more rounds then they are losing with the advice they are freely giving to the community.
While mathematically defending the Antidote bottles is undoubtedly flawed based on how very minor an advantage it gives, there's still much to be said when it comes to knowing a path vs. walking it. Something as insignificant as differences between mere milliseconds or meters per second may seem like nothing to those who analyze it on paper, but for those who actively practice what is laid out on those pages, it can mean the exact difference between life and death. 0.5 seconds in this game is what often determines whether or not a survivor is hit, or avoids being struck. so yeah... if it comes down to a matter of frames, I'm more inclined to believe the person who advises you to take advantage of them and gives you ideas of how to do so vs. the guy telling everyone that listening to them is negligible.
I'm not sure if you've ever been in a guild in a MMORPG against a raid boss, but even if you have or not, you should know your teammates/guild members will almost literally tear you apart over messages/voice coms for mistiming your attacks at exactly the correct millisecond (pretty much why I stopped playing those games). I'm not saying DbD is the same in any way, but the killers role is always a race against time, and anything/any advice that can help you with your time management when taking on the killer roll, no matter how small, is worthwhile to consider and heavily appreciated.
Technically Wraith got upgraded this patch with a 0.25 seconds upgrade to the time he spends accelerated after uncloaking, and many streamers who have tried him are overjoyed by this change. It's miniscule, yes, but makes all the difference between being able to hit a survivor, or not. Either way, they are actually feeling it, and overwhelmingly satisfied that he feels more powerful than before, but by your logic, this shouldn't make any difference at all to his viability, Despite the evidence to the contrary, so, With that in mind... Are you really sure that these small buffs to Clown are actually insignificant? Because to me, I'd rather take the advice of the expert who actively mains Clown on the matter, than someone who just speculated with what they've figured out on paper.
Double post oops

This map is literally Ormond all over again. There's a pallet every 5 feet and most of them are completely safe which makes it even worse than Ormond.
I hope killers skipped dinner cause they're gonna be eating pallets allllllllll match.

I like the magic hatchet and the hits thru walls myself. Those are awesome as a survivor.
This enrages me to no end. And it happens nearly every huntress game. It really kills the mood for me when the hatchet is clearly 5 meters away yet I still get injured anyway. They really need to take a long look at hitboxes/latency since dedicated servers.

Seconds count in this game, I agree. I think the point a lot of people are trying to make is that the stars basically need to align to get any benefit from the sonic tonic. It's way to situational for extremely little gain. You have to make a lot of guesses on the survivors pathing WAY ahead of time, and if they deviate just a little bit from your prediction, you waste a bottle. Or heaven forbid you throw the sonic Tonic to early or late, again because seconds do count in this game.
This is why a lot of people are questioning OP when he posts about clown being signifantly stronger than accepted by the majority of players. If the most popular streamers in DbD cant figure out clowns supposed hidden strengths after thousands of hours of paid gameplay, I'm skeptical they exist.
Again, as several other commenters have suggested, some gameplay from the clown expert would back up his claims as well as help the community at large play him better.

I’m far too old to be investing any time or emotional weight into proving myself to anyone here.
I simply provide my insight and expertise on how others can improve their ability to play Clown if they do choose to take what I provide on board.
If they don’t, fine. If you don’t, fine. In this instance I’m simply expressing how Clown isn’t weak. He’s just not a killer for everyone, just like many killers won’t be for everyone due to either skill limitations or limitations in abstract thinking.
I’m not here for popularity or clout. And I’m ok with that. I just want to help any who are interested in reading whatever I have to post about.
You can help us understand clown better by uploading a good game you had playing as him. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, but it would help your argument immensely if you had proof of your claims. Otherwise you're going to have more and more disbelievers in your posts which ultimately won't help anyone looking for good clown advice.

It's going to be hard to convince a player who needs to see what your matches are like. Because if you make a claim that majority of players disagree with and then provide no footage then they're just not going to believe you. You need to show us footage so we can see if the survivors are bad, did the RNG work in your favor, and other factors, or you actually have some hidden gameplay which makes Clown tournament viable tier. (Not happening)
This is also my point I was trying to get across. All these posts from OP about clown being secretly extremely good need proof because most people's experience with clown (even popular streamers) conclude that he is bottom tier even when played expertly.
Edit: for clarification I'm talking about doing well with Clown in red ranks with surviors who know what they're doing. It's easy to stomp low rank or inexperienced players with any killer (even clown).

Fact: a person can play video games without feeling obligated to jump on twitch and YouTube.
I’m just not the kind of person that particularly likes doing that. I just wanna play my games.
That's fine, I understand. There's just a lot of people (myself included) that don't agree that clown is as consistently good as you claim he is and would like to see some gameplay from you to demonstrate.

So I keep seeing you talk about how clown is great, but I never see you post any gameplay? I know you play on the new consoles and those have built in video capture now, so why haven't you uploaded any videos to show examples of how clown is awesome?
So I'm a looong time forum lurker, first time poster, and I too always see OP say how good clown is. But I don't see where he provides specific examples other than something along the lines of "he's good trust me I have experience".
I also would be very interested to see game play from OP with clown.
