A slugging twins is pretty much the ONLY case where no mither is ok.
That being said, I still wouldn't run it because it would just make the match go on even longer and I want out of slug fest twin games asap.

MMR doesn't take rank into consideration for matchmaking. How have been the outcomes in your games on your main killer and on alt killers?
The same honestly. I seem to get the same levels of survivors regardless of what killer I play and how often I get them.
-
I dont think so. I main legion af rank 1 and I consistently get green-brown ranks every night. Its just typical bad match making.

Or simply don't fight toxism with toxism. It's better to have a debate until they regret even messaging you in the first place.
You can't have a debate with teary eyed trolls over the internet, hence my solutions.
-
Next time you get salty survivors just say this:
"Mad cuz bad, got it."
Then leave.
Alternatively juat don't even bother with end game chat, it's just garbage.
-
It's a terrible perk. I've never seen someone get any value from it other than the killer.
I suppose it might be ok in a 4 man swf and a HEAVY slugging killer but honestly if I see someone with no mither they are the first to die.

How about when legion presses m2, he can go into his frenzy like now with all the drawbacks (like no scratch marks left behind by survivors) but the only difference is it now has an infinite duration? However, if you hit someone with it, the timer starts as it does now? Could be basekit or just an addon that gives this at the cost of reduced frenzy duration after hitting a survivor.
I know that it doesn't solve all his problems but it atleast addresses his map mobility and doesn't overshadow other mobility killers (Legion moves well under 150% and blight, billy and oni move over 200% speed. Clown is still slower but he can attack at will and his bottle is better suited at closing distance and hitting survivor at a loop). He still has his fatigue when he misses or he decides to cancel it so he's still an M1 killer at loops. It's just an extra little boost to him.
Thoughts?
I dont think this would buff him very much because it's not really useful to run across the map to stab someone with infinite frenzy. It's much better to stab as many as you can near you and then end it and begin a chase to down.
Legion really only needs 2 tweaks to make him a lot better:
1. Make missed frenzy hit not end frenzy. Or atleast take a chunk out of the time remaining. Currently this is beyond stupid and no reason to have it.
2. Reduce frenzy stun by 1 second or make cold dirt base kit which does about the same.
Legion also needs an addon overhaul because he really the only good ones are the frenzy duration and fatigue reduction. All of the others are complete garbage.
-
I've found that people will give up or DC if the killer is a particular annoying or frustrating one to versus such as freddy or death slinger. Or, if they have a bad team (urban evaders, self care in a cor er after every hit, bad loopers, etc)
Clown is not usually a killer many people complain about which makes me think you've had some groups who have had some bad team mate stuff happening which you don't always see as killer.
-
They do sound like foot steps sometimes.
Also, I swear to God I hear Meg breathing like right in my ear sometimes even even there iant a Meg in the game 😨
-
After about 9 pm est, playing as rank 1 killer, nearly every single game I get is mostly green and brown ranks who don't loop and install throw pallets. It's like clockwork and so bizarre. This has been happening for months now.

Hey, her snowboarding one and her default looks (barring the Elvis hair) are really great.
Ok, I'll admit her snowboard one isnt terrible. Default outfit is debatable imo. I think she looks like a drugged up hobo.

Vommy mommy needs her projectiles fixed. Vomit will literally go through them but it won't count as getting sick or injured.

To make it clear, I don't mean the whole community. But I noticed something today again. The new killer is live and so many people are crying, arguing and being homophobic. A few days ago everyone was hyped for the hints on Twitter were already was hinted that it will have something to do with kpop and Korean. But now, since it's not a female killer but a men killer everyone is saying the design is bad and not fitting... I was reading the story and this killer is extremely good fitting.
Honestly couldn't care less if bhvr announced tomorrow certain characters are gay or straight. It's a video game that has characters with their own backstories and I'll play whoever I think looks or plays cool. Some people are so insecure in real life about this stuff it spills into their gaming community.
-
Oh God another ugly Nea skin 😫
-
I usually run these two on almost all my builds:
Iron will, good for jukes and safe unhooks.
Dead hard, because it's the best exhaustion perk on the game.
For the other 2, any of these are good, typically I run borrowed time and kindred.
Spine chill, for an early heads up
Borrowed time, for end game clutch moves typically but to also punish tunneling killers.
Bond, to help you find team mates for heals/gen location. Also used as a poor man's spine chill of team mate is being chased near you.
Kindred, to help with saves.
Unbreakable, usually used for end game escapes or times where you're slugged.

It's the Dead by Daylight experience! It's what gives the game its "charm" :D

I'm really enjoying both roles in the game and I consider myself as an average player (surely not amongst the bests and not noob anymore : 1k hours). My goal when I start the game is to sit down and have a good time.
The last 2 months, I constantly face 1 or 2 red ranks as a rank 10-11 killer...
No need to wait until the game ends to see the ranks, when you play, you immediately feel the potential of survivors.
Experience learnt me to leave the strongest survivors in the early game. But even then, they know how to be efficient on gens, and I get my first hook when they already finished 2,5 gens (halve their objectives while I'm only at 1/12).
I set importance to improve my gameplay. But the fun factor is even more important to me. And I'm missing this the past weeks...
The same goes when I'm a survivor. When you face a killer with a much lower level as you, there is no fun. You don't feel the threat and the pressure. Although that's why we play this game, right ?
I mean matchmaking was never great and is certainly a complex issue to fix. But I feel the trend is worsening highly.
I am wondering if this feeling was also shared by others down here. Are there any concrete info from BHVR that they are adressing this issue ?
I mean...if people don't play killer, Ithey won't buy any new DLC...
i can't imagine they are letting this issue standing still for so long...
Or maybe I see things wrong and you're just supposed to have fun when you play survivors ?
I Actually have more fun as killer than solo que survivor. Solo queue is just the most awful experience 9/10 games
-
As killer, body blocking the last survivor or survivors into an area they can't leave from.
As survivor, doing nothing to progress the game (hiding) while hatch hasn't spawned yet. You can only do this as 2+ survivors so it's not very common unless it's a team effort.

The hook counter doesn´t count hooks but hook states. There´s a huge difference between 4 kills and 12 hooks. Someone who camps 4 hooks to death counts as a 12 hook game. Which is just inaccurate.
It's really quite useless because it just gives you a sum of the hooks, which doesn't effect how you play the match at all.
I suppose you could argue it's there to encourage 12 hooking but honestly killers are gonna proxy camp a hook sometimes if it means an easy second stage, so again, what's the point of the counter.
-
You might as well play twins if you want to slug that hard, they're the best at it. And yes, it really sucks for survivors.
-
"Haha! Take THAT you unwashed peasant! Gaze upon my bouncing loins upon the holy ground that I walk upon while you wipe the tears of failure from your dirty killer face! Your small, simple mind cannot fathom the amount of skill and wits it takes to undergo the colossal task of looping an object 3 times, masterfully clicking my mouse button on the pallet, and watching it crush your spirit! Let my luscious and firm buttocks bounces remind you that I am superior to you in every way!"

What about basement Hag?
Yeah its probably right there with basement trapper, but I don't see basement hag NEARLY as often as I do basement trapper.
-
In order order most hated for me
Freddy, to oppressive, to many powers, forever matches.
Twins, terrible design that encourages slugging and camping. Most matches are played on the ground.
Huntress, because hatchet hitboxes are completely absurd, a lot of my recent games have been against Iri heads.
Basement trapper, if someone gets downed you might as well let them die cause he's got the entire building locked down. Or trade hooks which is extremely boring. It's basically face camping at that point.
The rest I don't really have any problems with.

I’m mentally out of the stage were a word from someone I’ll never see nor speak too, hurt me, especially someone’s username.
That’s why you millennial kids get scared if a new person at work says “ Hi, my name is ........ nice to meet you.” Socially awkward, that’s what's it called.
Listen, im right there with you for the most part. AssHat McGee probably shouldn't be reported, but there is a line that is crossed sometimes.
There's funny/edgy/weird user names and then there's usernames that only exist to upset or get under people's skins as many people as possible.
Also, you have no idea what the user name was OP wants to report. Instead you just assume it was over nothing and insult them anyway. You seem nice.
-
Thana is only worth using on legion and plague imo. They'll the only killers where you'll see the max stacks take effect.
-
Had a game recently where all 4 survivors were lag switching as I got with lunge range of them. Couldnt hit any of them.
When you get hacker groups the best thing to do is to just face a corner and afk and go make a sandwich or something. They'll get bored and end the match and waste another 15+ minutes in lobby.

Actually I think there’s a more simple way to buff him.
Either do:
- Increase his carried knives from 60 to 80
- Increase his movespeed to 4.6m/s
- Survivors no longer get speed boosted when injured by throwing knives.
It doesn’t have to be all of them at once, just tweak 1 of these and I think he’ll improve.
Or if they reduce the number of knife hits needed to change health state, like from 8 to 5. Either way, I feel devs will buff him slightly one way or another before release.
-
Survivor queues are just terrible and not worth the wait after about 7 pm est. 10+ minutes typically. Killer ques are under a minute most if the day.
It's most likely because everyone is in red, purple and green ranks and there's just not enough killers for all the matches.
-
I've pretty much given up on solo que because of those reasons. I play my one game to get the bonus shards and I'm off to killer where atleast if I lose its because of me and not my shifty team
-
There's no question, fredy is better. Ghostface can/is bullied so hard by decent teams or if playing one of the really open maps where you can see across the map.

Old Legion was also considered weak. A killer can be weak but have a power that has no counterplay.
I wasn't around for old legion so can't comment on that. However, tricksters counter play is LoS, same as the other ranged killers.
-
A meming ghostface or Mikey always makes me chuckle
-
Actually Scott thinks he's on the weak side at the moment, he just released a video today I believe.
The community seems to agree for the most part.

I personally love this killer he has so much personality and it's nice to actually be hyped again.
On the flip side we have Nea who is technically not a killer but is scarier than all of them combined.
-
I'm pretty sure it's a bug. I would be very surprised if that is intentional, after all you can pick people up in feral frenzy which is similar to main event.
-
@AggressiveFTW said:
I get 360'ed EVERY game in Feral Frenzy. How do I avoid this? It feels like it punishes me VERY hard each time it happens. I am on console, which makes it easier to miss.
Just take a half second to adjust to their movement before you attempt the hit. Avoid lunging from really far away. Legion has a huge lunge range in frenzy mode bht it can be easy to dodge.
You need to be a little patient in frenzy because it's super punishing when you miss.
-
I pick up other killers once in a while but for the most part I really only play legion, bubba, slinger, and clown (in order of most played).
I just dont find the other killers as enjoyable as my main ones. When I play other killers I feel similar to you; get frustrated because I'm not having as much fun and because I'm not as good with them as my mains.
-
Oh its another of these threads.
Let's just get rid of half of the following killers because they have similar powers and no one EVER plays the weaker of the two:
Hillbilly vs bubba
Huntress vs slinger
Clown vs freddy
Ghostface vs Mike
Trapper vs hag
-
Erm, I'm pretty sure knife throwing has been around MUCH longer than dbd hackers have existed..
-
Huntress is carried A LOT by the absurd hatchet hitboxes. The amount of hits you get by hitting the air beside survivors is unreal. From what im seeing on streams you need to actually aim decently to hit with knives, same with death slinger (granted sometimes the spear doesn't register as a hit when it visually does, but it's rarer than phantom hatchet hits).
Also, who really cares? People play demo, clown, and wraith despite them being medium to low tier because they find them fun.
-
@YOURFRIEND said:
Certainly beats the pants off the twins.
Yup. Twins was probably the worst chapter ever.
-
Remember when death slinger was a "worse version of huntress"? Fast forward to today and people are constantly asking for him to be nerfed or removed because he's to powerful.
Seems like it's happening again...
-
Isn't plague literally hundreds of years old?
Although, she would look alright without all that....gunk on her....

Least he looks like a killer, west with their skulls I mean take an insight of history but a kpop dancing killer I mean no
Trickster looks like a killer. I mean, look at his face. He legit looks like a crazy person who wants to slice you open.
-
Dont really know why some people are so pissy about the new killer.
Like my guys, we have a literal fcking COWBOY as a killer. It doesn't exactly scream "killer" but people don't seem to mind. A k pop serial killer crosses the line though /shrug
-
I'm pretty excited for him. Love his maniacal ego, his laughs and looks. Power looks fun. Imo a huge step up from the twins.
-
Seems like he's going to be in a good spot imo. Not weak but not overpowered. A bit of a mix of huntress and plague. Some of his adons are questionable so I think they'll be tweaked a bit before release.
Obviously high walls and Los will hurt him but this is true for huntress and slinger and plague as well.
Seems like his power really shines when you zone the survivor into a bad position which is similar to what you do with slinger and huntress.
Overall he looks promising and fun to play.

To be fair...
Most of the other killers chasing survivors are too tall to really appreciate the detail the devs put into them. With Blight's PoV though, I have discovered a new appreciation for Survivors:
I literally feel like Jane's booty is close to engulfing my whole head right before I give it a hardy slap, Feng's cute little derriere defiantly bouncing in my face is just begging for a good spanking, David's rock hard buttocks Only challenge me to see if I can bounce more than a quarter off them, and Kate's Ravishing rump repeatedly taunts me to the point that I can't wait to pick her up for a night of raucous ravaging!
The only times other killers get a glimpse of the devs fine work on survivor posteriors is when they are vaulting through windows, which is too brief to really soak it all in, much less admire it, but Blight gets it all the time as part of his hunched over perspective that lets us REALLY see all the little, fine, and sumptuous details. If anything's gonna put me in the head of a drooling maniac, so worked up he's literally bouncing off the walls, mindlessly charging at a tempting gaggle of college age cuties... its a face full of those sweet, sculpted mounds of jiggly flesh, playfully bounding away from me.... shudders.
Let's Face it. Blight's an ass man! So Instead of complaining, Lets just embrace and enjoy it! There's a lot to be learned, and appreciated from the perspective of a man whose sole motivations, and PoV, are Literally bent on pursuing his dreams. 🤪
Congratulations, you won the forum.
