how bad billy is compared to his former self has been done to death but i do give it to otz to get some of the best killers and survivors to see how they stack up against good teams. Bubbas a insane beast right now lol. Billy just has so many disadvantages right now to compete which sucks because i played him for so long when i first joined and loved his playstyle. Poor billys throne has been taken. (Then again oni took it a long time before bubba did)

Yeah i mean bubbas pretty fun to when ya don't camp lol same with oni. Billy just feels so foreign to me now using double engravings is just one saw then overheat. The overheat in general sucks since you can down a survivor go across the map break a pallet "oh you overused the saw!" I mean i really didn't. Hes fun just...not powerful right now and i definitely wouldnt call his addon pass good.
I'm all for every killer having a downside to their power so if you do a missplay you're punish for it. That being said Billy is too weak since his nerf. I'd slightly buff base Billy, IDK, either a tad more ms while charging his chainsaw or faster charging + buffing his add-ons to make them useful.
As great of a killer new bubba is, a few matches are hardly enough to make a decent comparison, that much less one.
Well Bubba eat pallet for breakfast, bring Bamboozle and by the mid game (2-3 gen done, 4-5hooks) there are barely any good pallet left and he make window tiles unsafe with Bamboozle and get easy down.
Wile Billy have great mobility & can insta down, he's almost just an M1 killer on most tiles/pallet.
There's hundreds of matches that you can find where bubba and oni just leave billy behind. Oni especially can be one of the best killers in the game with topknot. Then throw on infectious for optimum pressure. Billy just has to much of a punishing ability and his addon pass didnt give him good addons like at all. Billy is also at good tiles just a m1 killer even with bamboozle.
Yeah they definitely went a bit overboard on the overheat but some kind of cooldown makes sense for him
I personally liked when they made it less oppressive on the ptb. Then it made the chainsaw only punish you if you held it for so long and genuinely abused it.
Yeah it was actually great back then but his add ons were garbage (thankfully a few got buffs)

He went from worst killer in the game to one of the best (if played correctly).
Billy went the opposite direction and is just a meh killer typically used as a meme now.
I cant even remember the last time I faced a billy.
Bubba now has 2 advantages hes the camp king and the chainsaw king lol.
I mean Billy couldn't even win on his best maps that he hand selected. According to Otz tier-list on maps, Bubba was playing Gas heaven which is one of the S-tier survivor maps and Badham which is another S-tier survivor sided map where most killers would dream to get a single hook before 5 gens pop. Bubba also won chases a lot more convincingly where as Billy struggled in most chases.
Just maybe Billy being A-tier is a bit overrated and Bubba being B-tier is a bit underrated. Maybe their position should switch.
