Maybe you should really describe what infinite you are talking about?
-
Only time the perk was useful was when the bloodmoon was going on and you could use blood gens to get your charges full fast and then put them on normal gen. I did not really do any math of this but would think it would be quite faster to get the normal gen done as long as the blood pump, the blood gen and normal gen are close to each other. Used it few times during the event and it was ridiculous how fast you got tokens.

The stats only go back to Fall of 2020. So if you played before then, that would explain why would have so many hours with the game open and so few hours actually in match.
Yeah he most likely played those 1500 hours before fall of 2020.
-
Report it at the betahub DBD bug reports so it can get fixed. I don't think this has been reported at all.
-
Don't hold your breath for anything else than the movies 2-8 cosmetics. They have no rights to the later movies and I don't think they would add kid Jason in any form.
-
There never should be ranked mode in this game as its not needed. Grades are not there to indicate how good you are in the game they are there to give you bonus bloodpoints every month nothing else.

Yes, crossplay is technically optional. But in reality, disabling it can seriously hurt matchmaking time and match quality, so many console players are effectively pressured into the shared pool.
That means they are often playing against PC users who may have access to external visual tools console players simply cannot replicate.

I still don't understand why the reshade "looks better". Only thing that it does is to make it easier to see the red stain and other stuff. If someone tries to claim that "looks better" than the original they are just trying to justify why they use it. Still we all know why they use it.
-
There is a survivor they have not revealed yet. That survivors perks are already usable in the PTB as universal perks but they are really that new survivors perks. So they are adding more stuff they are just revealing them slowly.
-
You basically get everything on both platforms that you own on each and all progress is merged. Only thing that you don't get is the achievement progress so you have to unlock those again on Steam. If there is some platform specific cosmetics or charms those I don't think transfer but I don't think there is really anything different on Epic compared to Steam.
-
In my opinion Jason's power fits him perfectly. If you want more complex powers then they should be done on other killers not this one.
-
I am not saying he does not need buffs in 1v4.
Still this reminds me of watching how people played him in 2v8. Very few people seemed to realize the optimal way to play him in that is to mark all the time as many survivors you can. I saw way too many people running around chasing the one marked person they marked or just survivors without marks just using his stealth. Like the few times I played him I went all out on marking survivors and usually those matches ended quite well because when you mark them they are exposed and your teammate can also down them with one hit. Like feel like at least in 2v8 you need to play him like you are more of a support that helps you teammate to get more downs and disturb the survivors by harassing them with keeping them marked.
Still even in 1v4 the sneakiest Ghost Face's are the hardest to counter. Like if you learn how to fool the survivor of what you are doing you can outplay most of them with him as long as you are not trying to beeline chase everyone.
-
They did have survey about what people want to see in the official stats page so they are clearly planning of doing changes to it.

Don't rely on Nightlight stats are not reliable Ghoul is currently at 8% pickrate
Yeah that site just collects data from the small pool of people who use the site. Most people don't who play this game.
-
Its about time thats what I think.
-
They can use looks from movies 1-8 at least and most likely any character from those too. More recent information they can even reference Pamela Jason's mother. They don't have rights to first movies US rights or the last movies after eight as those are owned by New Line Cinema. So no Jason X for example. They might be able to use the Crystal Lake name as the series they are making for Jason is tittle that so it seems to be in the Jason Universe rights. Friday the 13th name they can't use as that is owned also by New Line Cinema thats the main reason why the chapter is named Jason.

Do you know if they'll give us any info soon?
June 1st is the next circled day on their Anniversary Celebration calendar so most likely then we get more info.

We don't know yet.

Well, I might've been a salty sap last night, but now that it's all said and done, HE'S COMING! The Hall of Fame of Horror indeed, Jason and the classic Slasher lineup is complete!
It is a bit said to see F13 still isn't using its own name, but at least the Jason Universe was shown off in a short film instead of just being a nebulous out of context redesign. My biggest hope is cosmetics serve us something more akin to the classic designs. Also, no Tommy is pretty sad, he'd have been a great and unique addition imo, especially to have alongside our other iconic survs, but knowing BHVR they probably tried their best for him.
This chapter is by default one of the most important in DbD history, here's hoping for a great 10t anniversary!
Well they have possibility to get rights to every version of Jason from second movie to the ninth as those are owned by Horror Inc. So that is quite many versions. Still we are most likely never getting Jason X as that one I think is owned by New Line Cinema.
I would also think we are going to get the blighted version of him as I don't think the rights owners would have anything against that. Still would not expect that until next halloween or something.

I agree to both statements that if they started it much earlier and didn't make us wait an entire day just for a reveal at 7AM PST after 13 hours, most if not everyone would've been happy.
It was 12 hours. The reveal happened on the start of the 13th hour.
-
I would say its the right move from the Jason's rights owners to do this now. They are starting to make new projects so bringing him to DBD now is good early advertisement for them and if they work together with Behavior they can easily advertise any projects they do with DBD.
-
I have nothing against more randomizer options.
-
I just played DBD while I watched it on the other monitor.
-
Crystal Lake might not be possible because it might fall under the first movies rights but they could create a similar summer camp style map in one of the existing realms or take a setting from some other movie where he is not killing in the camp or not only there.
-
He is the last OG slasher killer who has not been in the game. Nothing else need to be said.

weird considering how (many of) the 13 references were probably international after all but the licensing isnt even related to Friday 13th but explicitly just Jason
Well they can use most of the Friday the 13th things but they can't use the name "Friday the 13th" as that trademark is owned by New Line Cinema so even the Jason rights owners can't use that.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. It's just Jason, and nothing mentioned F13 anywhere
and seems the mask is from Horror Inc. as they own its rights.
-
and its the Jason Universe version as its titled just Jason as they have no rights to the Friday the 13th tittle.
-
Well I did say it happens on the 13th hour and I seemed to be proven correctly
-
I said it will happen on the 13th hour.
-
As I said on the 13th hour
-
There is no boosting going on for any maps currently as they removed the boosting in 9.6.0. If you now are seeing those maps more currently you are getting them just by your bad luck.

This just reminds me of one of the last interactions I had in the recent 2v8. I was playing survivor and looped one of the killer Mastermind for a while and did do quite decent looping. Several times stood still behind loops to look at what the killer was going to do. Did no emoting or moving my head other than looking at him. Well he eventually downs me behind a pallet he breaks it and does two humping movements on me. I was like did he get annoyed? I asked in the end game chat as the match ended little bit after that if I got under his skin or something. The killer claimed he did it because I taunted him. I was like sorry if you thought so maybe I fat fingered the key but I did not emote on my own opinion. I was only standing still looking at him because I was looking what he is going to do like does he break the pallet, goes left or right so I know how I would play it. He apologized of humping me as he misread the situation. Said np and gl nx and so did he.
I just thought to share this as it just shows people are not all doing things to annoy someone and people quite often read other persons actions as something they are not. For example some people stay on the door to do t-bag's genuinely thinking they are telling the killer "gg" or they want to give the hit for the killer for same reason. Still these are rare but not all do these things to be annoying they just are clueless of how it usually is perceived.
-
They just nerfed Blight so…
-
That could be an oversight that its still the game. Maybe report it as a bug on the betahub reports and let Behavior decide if its intended or not. You have good argument why it should not.
-
New maps will always get boosted for a while after their release so the boosting will happen time to time.
-
They would have to add them as totally new achievements as originally those were changed to other generic achievements when they lost the license. They do that every time they have lost a license so far modifying the character linked ones to generic ones.
-
In the end its Entity's realm it can decide what heals and what does not.
-
Hag needs changes not total rework but adjusting her power as she is the oldest killer that has not got any changes for a long time.
-
You can always chose to report it as not duplicate then it just needs to be checked by dev/mod to let it be posted.
-

A replay system would fix this you could check sus people and show evidence kntop of also being able to use it to see where you messed up. But the other problem is one side has it so much harder then the other that it makes the game one sided.
You can't add replay system as games that have those are build around that feature. They would have to recode the whole game from scratch to add it to it and at that point its easier to make a new game totally.
-
Pending moderation usually means they are close to another bug report and so they need to be cleared by dev/mod if it is duplicate of the other one or if its a unique bug. Like if you chose the option that its not a duplicate when it asks if it is then it goes to that state so a real person can make sure if it is a duplicate or if it isn't.
It might also be a safety measure if you do many bug reports in a row to protect the site from people spamming non-sense.

Contrary to popular belief, these are real people who are messaging you. What they use is something called a "macro" where they have basically a prewritten response that they reply to stuff with.
This is done for a bunch of reasons, often to save time. If the response to say, someone asking for a refund is always the exact same response, why bother writing that out every single time? Especially since they often have to follow a specific policy, which typing it manually gives more opportunities for a human to make a mistake.
Yeah the customer service of this game company are real people. You can see it in the later responses that they make after you have basically already fixed the problem you had. Before that it usually is more monotonic macros.

Ok? Pwyw doesn't make the queue time any smaller, it just makes it bearable. Do you want two matches to go up to three or four? The only really unique thing about 2v8 is duoing as killer. The novelty is all there. Otherwise, the mode is just stupid mode.
The solution to something being appealing isn't to make it as unappealing as the other options, the solution is to make those other options more appealing.
Escapist is overhyped anyway. Most of my survivor matches have maybe one or two, if any. It's not the first choice of anyone I play with either. It's another thing this community complains about like it's a constant problem even when it isn't.
What I have noticed in the matches is that if someone uses it quite often its enough to just look like you stop chasing them and start going another direction. Then just go towards where the guy ran from another direction and you catch them when they are exhausted and don't have the power anymore. Then they usually go down quite fast.
Still as most powers in the mode if you know how to use them you can get decent value out of them. Usually survivors get value when you try to help the chased by giving them speed boost with it and even use it when you are not going to get the benefit but you know the hurt one that just got unhooked does and the killers are there already. I had a nice match last night where I played Escapist and I was playing really alturistic. Even saved a guy on the last second going to second stage because my teammates don't pay attention who to unhook first. Guy went for me and not the other guy who was further along than me. I am also the guy in most matches I play who lets anyone hooked to get the green tonic if I have found it so the killers don't get it. I am not selfish and try to keep to myself as usually in those situations one of the killers find it anyway before you can use it.
-
Still Prestige level does not tell anything about the player other than they have wasted a lot of bloodpoints on one character. Still its not that hard to get a character to high prestige in this game. People play how they play prestige has nothing to do with it.
-
It does not make them to get to the killer match faster as they are not getting a match faster because its still the same time they have to wait anyway.
-
Easy answer report is as a bug and see what they respond with in it. Getting answer here from devs is very unlikely.

clive barker isnt the one who voiced pinhead that "honour" goes to Doug Bradley. (who also voices him in DBD)
Sorry should have checked the name. My mistake trusted too much of my memory there. Clive Barker is the creator of Hellraiser my bad.

its not out till September, people just hate i guess
Its the devs as they were the ones that created the Texas Chain Saw Massacre game and they could not stop trashing DBD as they seemed to blame it of their game not being good. They were nice first but then as the game did not become popular they started making snive comments and such. So people have no high hopes of the Halloween game because of them.

i generally feel like they would make more money keeping PH in DBD then making their own game, is the game even good? or is it a dumpster fire like i heared
It does have Clive Barker involved to voice Pinhead so it might be good or it might be same as some other story driven horror games of recent years that were not that good and some really buggy.
