You want to base it on steam charts, yet steam charts literally prove my point. Looking at the time of 4-5 NA east the player count on DBD gets cut in half to even below half. Thats not a regional thing, that's all of steam and that's a pretty good reflection as to how the games player count is. Again, a majority of players are in NA, and when its 4-5am est 1-2am pst the player counts are significantly impacted. Proving my initial point.....
Like sorry but I don't know how you are reading the steam charts when that is literally the lowest point on the chart and noway indicates that there is more americans playing even before that as it usually at that point it has been falling for about 12 hours from the peak hours I was talking about. Still the point why its the lowest player amount is the fact that there is a huge ocean between america and europe so there is no players in those times zones. When you guys have 4am there its only 8am in western edge of europe and here on the eastern side its not even noon yet. Are you seriously expecting there to be some players at that time? Still after it goes around 5am of your time oddly the player amounts rise to the peak inside six hours. That is when the europeans start playing not americans.

Obviously but a vast majority of players are in the us. Odds are this person speaking English is in north America lmao. Even if not, when the servers slow down they get supplemented with players in other regions...... thats why you csn have 10 games of normal 30-60 ping and suddenly have a game where everyone but 1 players is close to 200....
Steam charts paint a quite opposite picture as peak hours are between 6pm and 10pm of my time and as its now little over 9pm here that makes US time zones its around 10am to 2pm so are you claiming people in america mainly at morning or early day? I would imagine even in america the peak hours are around the same 6-10pm. So Steam charts seems to indicate most players of this game are europeans.
You also think people speaking english means they are from north america sorry but english is quite universal language used to communicate over the internet. Most people are not from north america who write english on the internet or would you prefer I wrote to you in my language that you would not understand?

Look at the time you posted your comment lol 5am.... No wonder your queue time is long.... I was playing until 4 and my queue times were only 3 minutes.
Just to point out this. You do realize people play in different servers than you so their peak hours can be totally different from yours. Time zones exists you know

Report bugs to their official bug reports in betahub. This is not the correct place to do so.

The zombies are so easy to deal with only times they are annoying is when you accidentally run into them while running away from the killer. Four Zombies is totally fine for the mode and in my opinion he should have three even in 1v4.

I just wish there was some consistency with what BHVR are willing to kill switch. I get the impression they are much more reluctant to kill switch licensed Killers than non-licensed ones, because we've had invisible Spring Trap before and now we have magnetic hands Wesker. It's like they're given a little extra leeway.
I guess it might have something to do with how easy and obvious a bug is to exploit (Like PWYF Nemesis) and not just something that might happen sometimes through normal play. Still, it feels like a toss up as to whether something gets kill switched most of the time.
Or they need new data to get the problem fixed as there is more going on than some simple one bug that they need to fix. So it being live lets them get more data when people report it with new logs. Sample size will be several times bigger than it would be in any of their internal testing. So making it easier to fix for good.
-
That has nothing to do with entitlement its just people having twisted viewpoint of what happens in a match. There is bunch of people in the game that think they know all that happens in the match and know what everyone has done or has not done. In reality they know nothing and have to admit I would rather blame the survivor who gave you up than the killer here. They are both idiots but in the end he was the one that decided to give you up. I have never done that when I knew the other person played the match well and killer was bad enough not to find them. Its not my job to help him.
Also why you care about idiots opinion? I would have stated just that he had no idea what happened and its not my fault he could not find me and left. There is no reason to listen to idiots or care about their opinion. Still entitlement is not this but its just idiocy. You should not mix up the two.
-
You will always get the hook loud noise notification when someone gets hooked if you with that info can't find the hook then I don't know what to tell you. Pay attention when you are blind where that is. I have never had hard time find the hooked survivor in soloq even if I was blind as long as you pay attention to where the loud noise notification comes from.
-
Only way this would be fine is that then survivors could not stun him at all while he is invisible or coming out of it. Still noway I would want Wraith to be changed in anyway he is fine as he is.

Huh and that even tho they should've stopped weightening maps this patch and there should be a system preventing them from appearing back to back. Works great how it seems xD
Well that being said, please don't buff map offerings again. Just fix those systems, I still have a trauma from eyrie, the game and badham offerings xD
Still we have no info if there was offerings involved or if what they even write here is true. People have big tendency to exaggerate when talking about something that annoys them.
If this is also in 2v8 I don't think there is any map repeat prevention as you have ten players in the match so it comes quite impossible to guarantee that all of them will get a map that they have not played very recently. Even I have got same map in a row in that mode.
-
This guy clearly was not here when it was way more powerful when now its really not the easiest to get value if killer expect you to have it as they can do fake hits like back in the day to get you to use it and then just down you. Dead Hard is not a problem really in its current iteration it was back in the day when it was way more easy to use and had several ways to use it too.

How is changing the Obsession "abusable"?
Obsession is basically meaningless for any match where the killer does NOT run one of the few perks that do something with Obsessions.
Its still abusable even if it might be in certain circumstances. There is perks even on survivor side that benefit you to be the obsession and you can go around certain downsides by being able to change the obsession by demand. Still bug is a bug you can't be cherry picking what bugs should be fixed.
-
There is no pulling out anyone during a match in the current system anyway. You will play the match to the end and then get queued to your killer match right away. You never get pulled out of match in progress. 2v8 matches last about 10 minutes and 1v4 matches about 12 minutes so its not really much of a commitment in the first place and if your wait time is less then just wait.
It still could be an option but your reasons were not really correct.
-
Record and report them to Behavior's customer support as they are not taking part of normal gameplay. That is the only way you are going to get rid of them. If nobody reports them they are free to ruin your matches.
-
Patch notes lists it as "tentative fix" so it can still happen. So reporting it in the bug reports with logs of the match is good idea so they get the info to fix that iteration of it too. Sounds like the thing was more complex and they need more data to fix all of them. There could be more reasons why its happening so thats why its listed as "tentative".
-
Its a bug so they fixed a bug. So you don't want them to fix bugs now but same time demand them fixing bugs?
Also it worked anytime you picked up the item in question too so it was abusable and totally needed to be fixed.

If it’s this prevalent, can you post a couple videos showing us what you’re talking about? I’ve seen plenty of cheaters but it’s not 9 out of 10 games.
When anyone makes that claim it usually invalidates anything they said for me. Like if you want to talk about cheating yeah we can talk about it but when they start it with claim that is totally not the reality it just gives the impression that they don't know what they are talking about.
Any kind of "proof" would be nice but even then when you try to explain that there is no cheat there they will not believe you.
-
When you use the abandon option that comes when the survivors all are bots its not counted as them escaping it is counted as a draw in MMR so in short its not a win but its not also a loss. What the end screen shows does not correlate of what its counted as. Still why you need to kill all of them to get the "win" is there just so people would not slug more as in the end that is not healthy for the game.
-
Depends if those are real cheaters could be also false positives or easy anti-cheat now really banning for reshade. Still they might be true too and now they are playing their violins and trying to claim they are not cheaters.

it shouldnt be bannable as BHVR should just be able to killswitch the class to avoid exploitation.

By BHVRs own rules, if something can be killswitched, they won't ban people for it, because they can kill switch it.
Exploiting is reportable.

So they killswitch legion for a month but we can't killswitch the scout as survivors are exploiting it and ruining games?
For what two days. The next patch is most likely out on tuesday. Also you can report them if they are doing it intentionally.

Its getting fixed in the next patch already marked as "Fix Incoming" so no they are not kill switching Scout.

What does a full engine update do exactly for the game from a technical standpoint? :D
It most likely just means they are now using the most up to date version of Unreal Engine 5 so they updated to 5.7

It didn't used to be the case that all maps are in rotation. The whole point of the map offerings is those maps don't trigger unless you use the offering. Has Behavior confirmed that all maps are in rotation? Because I don't think they are. You tend to get the same 5 or 6 maps every time you play, but there's dozens of maps.
No that was never the point of the offerings. The point of the offerings was that you get a guaranteed map from the realm the offering was from unless other people used other map offerings. Now its not a guarantee but 1/5 chance. To my knowledge there never has been any maps that are out of rotation in this game except those that were some reason kill switched or are currently removed because of license issue.
I have a thread in this forum where I listed about 210 matches worth of what maps I got. I got 44 out of the 44 possible maps in that 210 matches so yes they are all in the rotation and this was before they removed the weighting of certain maps. Reason why you kept getting same maps more often was because they were weighted and now as that is not the case you will start get even more varied maps. Still I would also go out and say that you think you get mostly the same maps when you dislike a map so it is easier to remember that map coming up and forget that you might have already played like four other maps in between as that seems to be the point when map repeating can happen most often of my own experience of looking of what maps I got in those 210 matches.

I don't know why you're assuming "no counter play" from the word "abusable".
Abusable just means that something can be abused, and in gaming terminology means used in unintended ways, often to gain an advantage.
Like, for instance, how you're supposed to be able to unhook despite being chased by ghosts.
But from my experience trying to hook camp with the ghosts, it was very effective because most of the times the ghosts would start the chase while being between the hook and the other survivor, so unless the survivor ran away from the hook, the ghost would hit them.
I don't think behavior intends us to effectively hook camp with the ghosts, hence it's one example of what I mean by "abusable".
Worst of all is if the survivor gets the basement - I just placed a ghost patrolling up and down the stairs.
And it's infinite, because the ghosts have separate cooldowns - another example of "abusable". You can abuse the fact that there's no down-time of the ghosts, which I found especially effective when basement camping.
But of course, doing all this means that the survivors could just be doing gens elsewhere. But most of the times people are altruistic and try to prevent the camping, but there wasn't a single match where they didn't go into the basement without getting injured by a ghost, and then I could just go down and finish the job.
Hopefully this clarifies what I mean by his abilities being "abusable"If survivors who is hunted by a guard starts an unhook someone the guard despawns right away. So only reason your tactic work was because those people who you played against did not know about that.

Its marked as "Fix Incoming" about an hour ago so its going to be in the next patch.
-
If anyone is suffering from this I got it to go through by using the bulk level up feature by just making it go one level. After that the bloodweb started to work normally.
-
There is a report of this in the betahub bug reports. Clearly something that needs to be quickly fixed as in the example shown in the bug reports its flashing like crazy and I am not even sensitive to that and that is horrible even for me.
-
No Mither argument does not even make sense as you spawn in hurt. You at no point lose a health state as you already don't have that health state. Feels like argument people make who never even has used the perk or knows how it really works.
-
They can't platforms don't let you change achievements that are working. Both are doable just time consuming.
-
I honestly think the annoyance comes from the loss of your characters control. He for me at least is just another killer to play against. Yeah he can be really hard one to face but in the end you can loop him for a while.
Only change I would make to him is that his leap to hurt the survivor would require certain distance from the survivor so it at least would make him have to be closer to the survivor as some of the long range damage hits do feel not so fun and I think he also should not be able to hurt survivors over anything.
-
I did state in another thread about this that they could nerf it so that survivor could not do fast locker entry with the crows so they could not that easily get them off in chase and it would also make it harder to get them off even longer distance as it would take more time to do.
-
If I don't remember wrong it was in one of the streams they did quite some time ago. Might have been when they were answering some viewer questions or community questions.
Still they did have in the last survey section where they did ask about their own stats site and what people would want to see there and there was specific questions of what community stats you would want to see. So they are most likely going to add community stats to the site too so then we could easily see what stats are different.
-
I am just saying that you have better time learning looping against real people. The problem with bots is that they can't be mind gamed at all. So the bot killer would most likely be more of beeline chaser so it would follow you anywhere you would go and it would not do anything to try to fool you. Like its not really the best way to learn looping. I would say it would be more beneficial to you to get someone who plays killer for you in the customs and chases you. You most likely would go down a lot but its still better training than doing that against a bot.
Like would think there would be people who would be willing to do some customs chases and show some basics if you would ask around in some discord. Of course one good way to learn things is to watch the matches to the end after you die sometimes you might see some really nice tactics others use that you can then try to replicate yourself.

I don’t mind being slugged at all. I’d rather be slugged than be hooked - at least I’m not getting progressed as fast towards being eliminated from the game. In my experience, killers who prefer to slug instead of hook usually lose.
If you’re staying down for minutes or your whole team is getting slugged, that is because 1) survivors aren’t picking each other up, and 2) survivors are getting downed very quickly in their chases. Neither of those things is a problem with the way the killer is playing.
Oh and let’s not forget that survivors are allowed to abandon match for free if everyone is slugged. Are there any situations where killers get to abandon match for free when they are losing?Yes there is. If gen is not done in after 10 minutes has passed and that does not mean that killer is winning that one. In the matches where I have seen killer using that option to abandon were in a state of stalemate but the killer was not winning. Usually them slugging and not really hooking hard defending the gens quite usually not committing to any chase and survivors having to try to get others up from the ground, healed and get progress in a gen.

Yes and how does that change what I said. I said that even if they get banned they just create another account on the site. Its youtubes job to ban them and keep them banned as they are breaking the terms of service.

Honestly crazy that nothing's being done about people openly violating terms of service and making money off of cheats made for dbd.
How do you know they could be banning them all the time but they just buy/take another account and keep going. I just don't get why streaming platforms themselves are not doing anything when if I am not wrong most of those have rules that you should not be cheating in the games you stream.

Unless haunted grounds suddenly shows aura, please explain how the spirit knew to phase across the map, right to my locker - which I had quietly entered. Spoiler alert, they had no aura perks equipped.
Cheating is out of control.
I have had matches where someone called me a cheater because I pulled them out of a locker that I followed their scratchmarks to and the kicker was their friend was streamer and they both were claiming I was cheating when there was nothing suspicious of what I did. Just the lack in their own knowledge of the information I had.

Maybe you're right. But between now and then, why are we getting punished for what other people do? If I quit I get a penalty, if I stand still, I get suspicious activity. What do they want me to do in these situations?
That message is because you could not move so the game thinks you went afk. So the automated message happens giving you a warning of inactivity. Its a warning so if you don't happen to get the cheater again or you don't yourself go afk. You are not going to be punished of it. False positives happen with all systems and it being caused by cheater its not much anyone can do about it.

I would say I have nothing against the maps that are currently weighted even Badham. I do also understand why some people do dislike them. Still I think the current frustration is just that they have been weighted so long that its starts to annoy people.

Then they should at least make them equally weighted, Idk about you, but I'm pretty annoyed by it xD
Like I am not against removing the weighting of the other maps but I do understand why Trickster's Delusion is weighted as its the newest map so it makes sense to have bigger chance of appearing. Like weighting is not bad always but have to admit if you keep it going too long people will get fed up of those maps. Its just is normal even if you don't mind the map but same thing too often gets boring.
I would not be against like more frequent changes on what maps are more common or even give possibility to players to vote like what maps they want to be more common for like few months. Then can do it again or randomize.
