I'm actually preparing to make a few more reports about bugged collision soon, I'm not actually sure whether or not these are bugged / meant to have collision at all. I'll just throw them into the Forsaken Boneyard one and see I suppose.
I would say they are not supposed to have collision they are branches so thin that it does not really even make sense to have collision and in this case its a gameplay hindrance as you have shown in the pictures. I rather them to be decorative than cause problems in gameplay.
-
You should report these to the official bug reports at
If you want to be extra helpful you could also collect the tile names of those that you have found these hitbox issues with pictures and video if you can. You can see the tile name when pressing esc while standing on it and it should read on the center part of the lower screen. Would make it easier to them to find the right tile.
Those really should not have collision at all in my opinion as there is no good reason why they should.

I only mentioned the steam profile and my stream because people harassing people in game and continuing to do so off is crazy. I report the in game stuff. The in game stuff needs to be policed better. This is the only game I've had to consider privating my steam profile. I play fighting games and you'd think people would come harass people in there too but they don't ya know. I've only ever gotten tip, compliments, or stuff like that on those.
Oh they do that in fighting games when you just end up against the right person and you can get it in any game. Even Pokemon TCG people can be toxic. What are the in game things they should be doing better they already do take actions on end game chat abuse so don't know what else they should be doing? Amount of policing will not remove people who want to be toxic they exist and have to admit even punishment will not do anything to some of them because they don't care about it as they are the victims in their opinion.
-
Like as people here has said Behavior is not responsible of people writing something in your Steam profile. They also are not responsible of what people say in your streams chat. You are yourself responsible of policing your own chat in Twitch or where ever you stream. Also you yourself should realize if you advertise your stream you will get people who will just come there to annoy you that is given. You can't anyway demand a game company to take action against people who are harassing you outside the game its not their hands in anyway. If they do it in the game itself then yes but your streams chat or your steam profile are not their responsibility to moderate.
Like sorry but what you are asking is not feasible and you are taking your frustration on a gaming company of individual people being #########. Still as I said you are blaming a company of things individuals are doing that are not even doing it in the game that the company you blame is operating. So how are you thinking even that they can stop people from writing bad comments into your steam profile or in your chat? Like they don't own either of those platforms.
-
They only see generator auras the add-ons do not change that part of the items power. You are the only one who benefits from the add-ons when using the maps base ability.
-
You most likely have filters on that are hiding most of them. Go to the customization page of any character. Click the button next to the search bad that looks like a tag. The only thing check marked on the popup window that appears should be "unlocked".

This was best Blood Moon event so far and I don't really have any complaints on either side. Only problematic thing that I noticed was some survivor perks being able to load way faster with blood gens but that should be easy to fix in the next one. Another would be maybe that the pumps should not spawn in one area but rather in max two at same point but still I also don't see the problem with the distance to the gens as even with this events distribution it did not make anything impossible to do just made it more interesting to not have the last years four blood gens done fast as can be. Now at least there was some variation of what gens got done.
-
Launch the game click the "gear" button in the lower left corner on the main menu. When the options menu opens you should be on language page right away. Then just chose language English on the top drop box. Then click the right side option on the popup window that shows up and it will close the game and then relaunch the game. Remember to change the spoken language option too its the second drop box but you can do that after you get the language correct.
Still learning Japanese might not be a bad idea.

I’ve always said that WoO gives you the “easy” way in terms of spoon feeding you all pallets/windows. However, even WoO can’t hide poor skill. Sure, the perks tells you where these locations are, but only a skilled survivor actually loops them properly.
Equally, an argument could be made that WoO is a bad perk for new players. I’ve seen many a time new survivors running this perk and thrown down every decent pallet on the map before the games even properly begun (at a detriment to their teammates).
Sure, it’s a “clutch” perk but only really problematic on skilled survivors. Low-rank or even mid-tier survivors just use it to throw pallets down.
It could have a cooldown to make it less powerful. For example, the first time you drop a pallet in Chase or vault a windows it goes on 20s cooldown. The problem with this, however, is that it opens up discussions about 5 Steps Ahead. You can’t really nerf one without nerfing the other as 5SA essentially does what Windows does, just with less range but the added bonus of throwing pallets quicker.
It originally had a cooldown and nobody used it thats why I would rather have it work only when you are injured.

Lament GameCo. LLC is still ran by both Clive Barker and Park Avenue, as stated in the copyright text for the Hellraiser game. So yes, they still need to re-negotiate with both parties to bring Hellraiser back to DBD, regardless if they're under the same copyright umbrella now or not.
the other game has exclusive rights and that has been stated by even the other game company.
I'm gonna need to see proof of that.
Literally reads on their site: "Hellraiser™ and The Hellbound Heart titles, characters, settings, protected marks, plot lines, and themes are exclusively licensed for video games to Lament GameCo, LLC by Clive Barker and Park Avenue Entertainment, LLC. All Rights Reserved."
Scroll to the bottom and you will see it. Clearly states its "exclusive" rights so nobody else can use the characters in video games and that is the reason why Behavior can't get the rights until that expires.

Hellraiser left DBD because the license bhvr had for the first movie became null, after the copyright to Hellraiser 1 split between Clive Barker and Park Avenue. Nothing short of a complete re-negotiation with both parties will bring it back now, and those processes can take who knows how long.
The new Hellraiser game had nothing to do with it.
They don't need to negotiate with both parties as its licensing is handled by one company currently. So there is already agreement of joint custody. Behavior just needs to negotiate with that company that handles it and the main reason why its not possible to get now is because the other game has exclusive rights and that has been stated by even the other game company.
-
They are rare because they are in an offering rarity group that has most offerings than any other. So even if you get that level of offering in bloodweb getting it to be specific one is really unlikely. So yes you will see less Bloody Party Streamers just because how bloated the rarity level of offerings it is. Nothing to do with the event just normal thing.
-
Its more interesting than sitting on gens hitting skill checks. I played killer with random perks in the event and did not really need to sweat at all the matches did not differ from the normal queue match and the match time was the same as on normal mode around 10-15 minutes.
-
They most likely can get it back after the exclusive rights expire that the Hellraiser: Revival game bought but as its not even yet released might take at least few years. I still don't get why companies think taking something away from one game will help them sell the other. Every time this game loses a license because of another game company wanting to get exclusive rights is not going to make me want to play that one.
Like even for the license holder it would be better to be able to sell the license to as many companies to use not make it exclusive to one at least in video game base as it now also means there is no way we are going to see any Hellraiser characters in games other than the one holding the exclusive rights.
-
There is already a perk that shows other survivors scratch marks so why would anyone use that if Fixated does the same and gives way better additional benefits?
-
@BongoBoys said:
Didn't devs address this by giving a blood fountain at the start and a addon to get more blood fountain
Getting to use it once a match is not much a fix. When it does not change the gameplay loop that has existed from her release and has not changed at all even with those changes.

Just trying to point another way to look at it so it might be less bothering
Yeah you can share your opinion its still can be annoying to others as I stated.
-
Another thing also why I think the 10 seconds is good thing to add to abandoning feature is the rare situations where it comes available where someone abandons when the match is not yet over. I have few times situations where someone will use it right away when they get the chance and then one of the others get up anyway and the match continues as they were waiting for killer to pick someone up and the others to recover. There is other situations where this is good addition per my example. In some of those people even escape so its not just for losing matches.

So this is just my view but since I caught the survivor and got to mori its basically me mori survivor with them not watching. I've already proven my superiority and getting a show after so it's not like it's taking anything away.
Yeah and others see it differently. I am all for features that will not cause annoyance and that one does cause it for some people.

Why does it annoy killer players? Genuinely curious why this would be the case.
Mainly because it can be seen as last "middle finger" to he killer so he does not really get to mori the survivor but the bot. In the end 10 seconds is not end of the world to wait. There is also the audio clue that happens when someone abandons even to drive the point down that the survivor abandoned.

I would not mind her getting a rework where her secondary ability to down with the puke would happen when some factors has happened. Like I don't know let her get the power when all survivors are poisoned fully in the broken state but if she takes it everyone gets healed to full. It could still have the same activation requirement of her going to a fountain or maybe combination where she will also get it if the survivors use all the fountains to cleanse but still every time she gets it the infection is removed. Like make it so that it happens so she gets to use her power and I with both it might add new layer of survivors trying to ping pong between not getting all broken at the same time and not using all the pools.
This is just me speculating a way of her to be changed but have to admit she needs some rework her gameplay loop is quite boring.
-
In my opinion only thing they need to do with the abandoning option is to add 10 second delay on the option to abandon so we get rid of the last go down insta abandon. Like it happens in almost every match when last get downed and this would just let the killer do the mori and if they don't do it in that 10 seconds the options appears and survivor can abandon. Currently how it works can annoy killer players and in reality does not make sense you can do it instantly.
-
It has been in several of their surveys of franchises people would want to see in the game. So its on their radar but as we don't really know what people voted to want to have in the game its popularity could be way too low to be one that gets to be in the game.

"So killers are never going to be able to pick up survivors with your flashlight change against anyone decent of doing them"
This comment makes no sense. If this was true, then killers wouldn't be able to pickup anyone today already, which is obviously not the case"No for the totem thing too as making everything being easy with no effort from the user"
Considering this "effort" is mainly just map knowledge and thousands of hours of playing the game and seeing the random gen algorithm at work, it kinda proves my point. It harms accessibility for newer players without any real "effort"You do realize that you are increasing the blindind window way much making it literal beam when killer picks up and the picked up survivor is off to run away again.
as I added there is several perks to find totems for survivors they can use those if they can't find them without some help.
-
So killers are never going to be able to pick up survivors with your flashlight change against anyone decent of doing them. So HARD NO to that one. Currently its fine and takes some skill to do yours would literally be survivors running the faster blind add-ons and beaming killed on the start of the pick up animation because timing would be non-issue
No for the totem thing too as making everything being easy with no effort from the user is the most boring way of trying to change a game. New players can run one of the several totem finding perks they have thats why they are there.
-
Don't know as I don't keep track on prestige levels and as I play random character and builds anyway so my characters are usually quite even in prestige of course older ones are higher than newer for obvious reasons.
-
My only guess is if you accidentally or some reason DC'd your last killer match as that can cause grade loss. This is basically the only way to lose grades anyway to my knowledge.
-
It depends who you change to. Quite many licensed characters have had different lobby music for a while. Some skins for example change the lobby music too. Kwon and Yun-Jin just recently got their own lobby music when Kwon was released.
-
I would not see a problem of the bot killing themselves its a bot and even in that situation people would normally let themselves die even more so if the other survivor is injured anyway.

I just want to know if the AFK Crow thing not being added back is an oversight or not, and if not, would like an explanation as to why from someone that actually has said explanation, for the love of god.
If its marked as not a bug then it would hint its working as intended.
-
If there is a bug you think needs fixing you should report it to
They do fix bugs and when you do report it pictures or video of the bug would be beneficial as your description is not really telling whats the bugging with the 2nd hook stage.
-
Dodge or eat the stun like it matters. You made this just an ego stand off and in the end just wasted your own time.
-
Or just use the search bar by writing the killers name into it.
-
Its for testing things and Behavior to collect data of how the changes effected stuff. Still the small changes might not be the main thing they are testing as in the end we don't know what data they are collecting every time they have a PTB. Still they do scrap changes that they deem bad for the game and has done it several times even nerfing or buffing killers before they get released.

Look, I quoted you initially to what I was responding to. You were saying that killers do not have anything like woo that is 100% uptime.
Here's the quote of your words again for you:
there is no killer perk with same level of value than WoO gives to survivors that is on 100% of the match
When I pointed out that, not only do killers have this ability, but it's also free and base kit for them, you have no argument.
So your entire argument is just, basically "nerf survivors" and have no reasoning or rationale that stands up to even the barest hint of scrutiny. Or, at least, you aren't willing to try to explain it justify your stance.
And that's ok. You are absolutely entitled
to your opinion.
So you taking one sentence where I am answering someone does not make you right of anything and I would recommend you to not state something about someone being entitled as it can be taken as an insult. I am not stooping that low.
I have explained my stance several times already me repeating it will not change it.

@AmpersandUnderscore said:

Well, you didn't argue that killers had it. You only wanted to argue semantics of "it's a perk". So, the only conclusions would be that either woo should be base kit like seeing gens already is, or maybe your point is that killers should have to equip a perk to see gens all the time.
I did not argue about anything I was answering someone else argument. I already stated what my stand is and what my argument is and so far I have not get any good counter argument for it. Only attempts to water down my argument by adding stuff that has nothing to do with it or trying to get me to engage of schematics and I don't think there is no reason to me to do so anymore. I will really like to see when someone comes up with some good counter argument that anyway has any good reasoning why the perk does not deserve a nerf.

there is no killer perk with same level of value than WoO gives to survivors that is on 100% of the match
Both teams have resources that are intended to be expended as a natural and normal part of gameplay. These resources buy time for the team to complete their actual objective as they are consumed.
For survivors, this is pallets, and it requires a perk to see where the RNG of the game has distributed them, and to see which are still remaining.
For killers, the expendable resource is gens. And, no, there's no perk, because it's a base kit ability to see these with 100% uptime.
and what is this on about yeah they have and the point is? I am not talking about resources but if a perk needs a nerf.

I get if you feel the discussion isn’t going anywhere, but disagreeing with counterpoints doesn’t mean you haven’t been given any, I’ve already explained why I don’t think the perk is unhealthy you just don’t agree.
You acknowledged that permanent aura-reading on survivors would be stronger than Windows. So using that as a reason to say Windows is too strong doesn’t make sense. Because out of the two options, one being windows and one being 100% aura on survivor, windows is the weaker of the two, which you admit to but also still want the weaker version of the two to get nerfed, making it even more weak.
At that point, the argument falls back on the same criticisms used for killer aura perks and windows, both give information, but both still take skill to actually get value. But you’ve already said those are fine for killer because they require skill to use, but not for survivor?
It just feels like a big double standard. So the question of why a skill-based perk that mainly helps solo queue should be nerfed for reasons you’ve already dismissed on the killer side remains unanswered.
I appreciate your perspective, even though I disagree.
Yeah thanks for not understanding but I was not the one comparing perks that was the defenders of it. I have all the time gone with the explanation that its needs a nerf because of the amount of most useful information it provides and never ever stops doing so. That is my reasoning I don't need anything else to it. Stop trying to inflate my argument with useless info.
-
There is a writing mistake in the first one it only should read that it gives it to the survivor you heal from the ground so not when you yourself recover. It originally worked like it states but when they removed the Endurance effect from it and changed it to Haste they only made it to give it to the survivor who you heal from the ground.
There was a bug report about it doing this when they changed the description to say it should not work on self recover and its marked fixed I can make a new one so they fix the description to say the correct info.
Heres link to the report.
