Yeah well I wouldn't really know or care as I always buy the dlcs. It's a nice way to show support to the Devs and also because I really can do so without any problems so yeah.
As do I, because I actually enjoy the game.
I am thinking about others who for one reason or another are incapable of buying Movie Killer DLCs. I'd love to see BBQ pop up on the Shrine, but the powers that be have decided that will NEVER happen not even during the Barbecue themed event, so ######### it lets remove all Movie based Survivor and Killer perks from the Shrine, that way at least everyone is on a relatively level playing field.
It will also help Behaviors income as those DLCs will now be the ONLY way to get key perks like BBQ, Best for Last, and Dstrike.

Are u suggesting they won't get BBQ anymore? They don't get it anyway, because "Random" has decided it will NEVER appear.

I refuse to let this post die until we get an answer.
It's clear that IF (a very big IF) it is random the Perk selection process is broken. We have seen the current perks, and perks before them MULTIPLE times sometimes only a week apart even.
So come on, why do the BEST survivor perks keep showing up, while only the Meh killer ones keep showing up? Even if it's just because the Devs want people to pay Cash for LeatherDaddy himself I'd accept that as an answer.
-
Well if you play Claudette Strictly for the advantages her P3 skin gives then yes you have no skill, and have to rely on an unintended glitch that makes her harder to spot in dark maps.

It should also reduce hook timers by 30 seconds since we aren't allowed by the new system to secure kills.
-

heh
-
I'd buy a Trapper and Billy one as soon as they came out.
-
Come on Bhvr...cut some Shrine camping killers some slack.
At this point I don't really "buy" that it's random as we have gotten the SAME perks over and over again for awhile.

Like if a survive is running in circles for more than 10 seconds they get a 10% Movement speed debuff from getting Dizzy, and a 5% movement speed decrease for dropping a pallet. Both for ten seconds.
But you keep falling for the loop tho?
But you guys keep thinking running in circles = mad skill tho?

Because we (Killers) aren't a dancing monkey for SWF scum.
Also because as soon as you hit Green Ranks (Rank 10 n lower) as killer all you get are SWF groups. Usually with a Rank 1 or 2 for shits and gigs.

Three perks I always use as Freddy are
BBQ, Monitor and Abuse, and Hex:Ruin.
The fourth perk changes based on what I'd rather play with atm. Lately it has been save the best for last.
Freddy's playstyle is very add on dependent based specifically on what Add-ons you use.
Z Block and U Block
These are great add-ons for getting quick hits, as it gives you the fastest dream transition possible.
Lately I have been preferring to use
Class Photo, and Green Dress/Pill Bottle/Paint Thinner
Class Photo shows the auras of ALL survivors regardless of distance when someone enters the Dream Transition state. You can use this like I do to pin ball around the map, and put all survivors in the dream state. Unlike most builds you want to keep that Dream Transition as long as possible so you have time to make it to the next survivor.
If you can Stagger your transition on two survivors you will make it to the other two easily.

I could see Sally ending up with some tanky perks easily.
She took a pretty decent amount of damage during her escape from Leatherface and his clan.
-
The Meat dun'n cooked itself!
Lets cut it up for the boys in the Leatherface Mafia!
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
-
For a Survivor I'd honestly like to see Sally from the OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre as a Survivor.
Killer wise.
Well that's a bit tough. The Candy Man would be a good fit.
-
toss me your steam ID in a PM here and I'll add you when I get off work tonight.
We can do a few rounds. I am a pretty ######### survivor (killer main), but I still get quick games.
-
That could look cool.
Imagine Freddy window hitting someone, then like waggling his finger blades at the survivor as he's vaulting.

Ranks 20-16 are isolated from the rest, and it's impossible to derank below 15. I recommend waiting until the next rank reset, one week from now. That could be your issue too!
Just incase the thing I mentioned fails.
If you are still super low rank games can be rough time wise, not difficulty wise.

If you are on steam ques can vary from Region, and times.Central US Region tends to get instant ques for killers around afternoon to early evening for example.
Try changing your region.
Well, I'm new to Steam as well. For 20 years, I mainly played MMOs. I didn't get into PvP type games until Overwatch in 2016. So, how do I change region in Steam? Right now I am defaulted to my east coast, U.S. region (I assume).
Use to be easier and doable in-game.
Now you have to change your download region in steam itself to do so.
Start Steam.
Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads tab.
Under Download region, select the region that you want.Make sure you note your orignal Download Region as it could affect download speeds later.

Tuxedo Trapper.
-
Sometimes I'll let the last survivor escape, BUT ONLY after I've downed him after everyone else is dead to prove that I COULD end the game right now, and ONLY if he has given me good chases the entire game, or mostly evaded me.

When the survivor teams ranks look like this:
Rank 3
Rank 10
Rank 14
Rank 17Someone is being boosted.
-
I regret only that I have, but one up-vote to give for such a worthy cause.
-
Distressing makes it harder to see Auras when you have someone asleep. Remember when someone is asleep if they are out of your terror radius then you can see there aura.
Insidious is borderline useless for him, but it could let you peep someone techinically inside your terror radius's aura if they are asleep.
-
Dying Light can work decent too as a replacement for Save the Best for Last, as thanks to the aura reading you WILL be able to find and tunnel your obsession.

Class Photo, and Paint Thinner
Using : BBQ, Ruin, M and A, and Save the best for last.
You literally pinball around thanks to your add ons putting everyone to sleep ASAP. It really throws teams off.
Also running Overcharge with Freddy can be smart. As you know they will instantly B-line towards a Gen. Usually looping you a bit, meaning there is few pallets around ANY Gen by about Midgame, leading to free hits just before they wake up, or right after you put them to sleep again.
Oooo me likes the way you think!
Its really fun.
You do not want to reduce the dream transition at all so you can see the Auras of everyone else falling asleep longer. Should you fail to make it to one, the paint thinner speed boost will help you close the gap as you should be fairly close to them.
Also once you get the Class Photos aura reading effect staggered on 1-2 survivors you WILL make it to the next one easy.
I've found alot of players will start panic juking as soon as they fall asleep giving you a chance to cause a little chaos while moving on. Pill Bottle also combos well with it as it hides your presence from them visually completely until they are fully asleep.

Truth -
When I first started playing.
Still whip it out every now and then, usually only use it once or twice when I do have it equipped per match. You'd be surprised how well it works when used to set up proper ambushes instead of Hook Camping. Problem is thats it is too passive to be used seriously.

And dumb.OH!
You mean like how getting stunned because a pallet 90degrees in the opposite direction of you somehow still stuns you?
Or how a pallet Grazing the tip of your weapon causes a stun?

Make intentional chronic DCers start loosing levels.
Like to the point where they loose perks because of it. First time is free, second time 5 levels 3rd time and ever after 10. On Both Account and ALL characters.
-
That'd be nice.
Hey at least I got the new Killer up to level 50 before it was over.
Though if it -was- going on for a few more days I might p1 a killer or two.

But tbh, those female killers can literally teleport, throw projectiles, or move extremely fast. I don't think it's intentional, those killers are slow because they need to have some sort of downside for such strong powers.By that Logic then shouldn't Hillbilly for example be slower than your average killer due to the speed burst he gets during chainsaws?

There is this neat perk called Urban Evasion.
Really helps you NOT get caught.

90% or more are just idling, watching you tube, etc. You'll have to dodge a lot of games for the <10% that switch survivor or put new items.
Not my problem. I get full lobbies pretty fast.
Besides, if they aren't playing attention to the game, they shouldn't have it loaded.

Clearly they didn't want to play too badly anyway.
