I agree, gen times needs to increase for higher ranks, it goes too fast when I play killer and sometimes when I play survivor.
(Use high mobile killers + Discordance, DESTROYS gen rushing!)
Lmao I need see more than 1 person per gen beyond rank 10 so oh well for discordance

It works for me, certain strategies are better for different people though.
Lmao i guess the rank survives i get are too smart

That could make things more balanced, I like the sound of it!
Sucks cause id probably be top for the simple fact solo isn't as grueling as most make it out to be just everyone wants to run me first perks

I suggest to erase from every build you’ll do self care and urban evasion.
if you want to improve and bring an active contribute to the match(obv if playing solo) you should not play immersed.
that said I suggest
1 exhaustion perk: lithe(better paired with other perks) balanced landing, and dead hard(not until they fix it ffs)
from here you can evolve your build
I like to run
decisive strike: in my opinion a must have
Unbreakable: my personal choice but I find this reaaally useful especially high ranks where killers tend to slug and play around DS, sometimes a dead perk tho.
iron will: some games you wont have time, occasion, need to heal and this helps a lot.
there are different perks and builds to consider valuable even if I personally think the core build I use except for unbreakable is really really performing.
consider changing unbreakable for borrowed time or adrenaline.
When someone essentially tells you that you don bring enough I the team even though your emersion completed 3 gens 4 heals 2 hook rescues all while the braindead grunts loop the killer around the same pallet for the 15th hundred time

My main strategy for Wraith is hit and run, taking chases I know I can end quickly. Learn how to avoid LOS until you’re near the targeted gen and moonwalk (to the gens) if you think spine chill is in play.
Lmao Im a wraith main so none of it you just told me I didn't already know
-
@GrootDude said:
I can do pretty well at high ranks with Wraith.
Idk I can't seem to get him past rank 8 cause all I face at rank 8 is rank 2 swfs

I don't.
Btw, you don't have to @ people anymore, the quote makes the alert now.
Still have to use @ if you want to alert without quotes, of course.
Thanks for the tip, I'm rarely on the forums and when I am its like 2 days straight then a small hiatus again XD
-
Also slugging is 100% not bannable

Wraith's new outfit.
@Boss So do you play on ps4? If so you should just block me its like my second main LMAO
-
Basically killers ave about an 85° FOV which means you see directly in front and ~42° on each side, the before mentioned perks increases that FOV, shadow born increasing I by a max of 16°if I'm not mistaken and M&A increase it somewhere between 8° and 12° max (idk because I use wraith who really only needs shadow born)

I don't think solo survivor is painful because people are queued solo. I think it's painful because a lot of people really lack game awareness and choose perks that don't help in the context of solo survivor gameplay. I've played with solos that are awesome, and we work together beautifully despite not being on comms. That chat window before match is useful for things other than s*tposting. You can make sure at least one person has BT, for example. Very few people run Kindred which is a huge efficiency boost on generators. There's no need for all 3 survivors to crouch walk towards the hook, but it happens too often because nobody runs Kindred. Bond and Empathy are also good things to run, but people often load up on self sustaining perks like DS, Unbreakable, Dead Hard, etc., rather than support perks to fill in the communication gap.
Lmao I'm a killer main so I might not have much at here but I feel my build is both self-sustaining and fills the communication gap quite effectively, (spine chill, sprint burst, lightweight, and empathy) I can focus on gens unless someone needs a heal and then I can heal them while keeping an eye out for nurses and as lon as they are by me my build can help defend them aswell.
-
My stealth build is spine chill, lightweight, sprint burst, empathy (empathy can be replaced with whatever you want I use it to get heals in or to confirm the killer is chasing someone else so I can focus on an objective)
-
They all give me spine chill(s)
-
Lmao I only slug because I know if I go above rank 10 I'll only face rank 2 swfs so I try to stay below that (but seriously the skill gap between rank 10 and rank 9 survivors is astronomical

I do like that metal one as well.
If we got a stealthy mask, then it would be hard for survivors to see him, then they'd complain and BHVR would remove it. : P
Lmao just give me atleast a burlap mask (saw one in a fan creations post and it was beautiful and u want it XD)

Well, I can understand people being disappointed in the fact that ghostface wasn't the same as the movie. As a fan of the movie, I had some disappointment too.
I like both looks, especially the blue one, which I use, but I do want a version of the movie one as a cosmetic in the future... hopefully.
Huntress came way before Clown. She came right after the Doctor.
@Raven014 i personally use the jet black robes with the demon mask but hey that's just me lmao so ready for the metal mask on him though, would love to get a more stealth oriented mask though
-
They complain because rank 4 there didn't get to teabag the gate and exit full health
-
I've managed to go entire matches without the killer seeing me or even having a clue where I'm at (unless i got bored and decided i wanted to say hi) spine chill, empathy, sprint burst, and ligtweight
-
Lmao id just run over and whip them into shape with a pallet drop (sprint burst and light weight good luck finding me and not the one who isn't doing anything)
-
Wraith: this was actually my third main, i completely love stealth killers, especially one who can move quickly, pop up out of nowhere and lose prying eyes within seconds. his (in my opinion) best addons are easy to get and keep going (coxcomb/bone clapper & ghost).
Freddy: my very first main, the king of nightmares, he has always held a spot in my psyche, i couldn't watch his movies growing up because of how often i was plagued with nightmares myself, as i grew older fear grew to love and to find him in the game when I started playing gave me the opportunity to bring those nightmares to life (yea i get a little sadistic with him so what)
Hag: honestly was one of the first killers i prestiged, m&a + black skin makes for another scary combo that is just to die for. Her traps make for easy quick movement to areas of the map you've been, her sheer unpredictability makes her hold a special spot in my heart
GF: my final main, this is a full double whammy, he gives my meme-y side an outlet as well as providing me the satisfaction of destroying a team with "the underdog" (activating and deactivating crouch repeatedly while walking looks like he is hopping and is very funny from a survivor viewpoint. Btw)
HONORABLE MENTIONS
These killers would be mains if it weren't so easy to play them or if i had more time with them
Billy: vroom vroom, honestly there isn't a killer alive that can match his cross map movement and sheer usefulness (other than rework freddy and even then his power takes to long to consider here), insta down with quick movement to boot its clear why he is the king of DBD and it is for his over use that i dont main him
Spirit: wraith turned up to 1mil insta hits out of phase? Yes please. Complete disability? Yes please. Only downside is like billy she is over used thus i avoid maining her
Doctor: beyond pre-rework freddy this killer is probably one of the best interrupter/locator obviously now the best (my personal choice for him is full calm combo + whispers as the treatment tr radius for calm doc is beyond whispers, punishment mode until whisper proc the treat your patients XD
-
Idk Claudette is in my opinion the mot beautiful (only closest one is Jane but that's for obvious reasons...)
-
Because devs, anyways what happened that made the killer dc? Multiple gen pops? Extra toxic looper? Ruin or another hex broke?

That makes sense.
Killer costumes can be influenced by survivor fears/killer's warped imagination
It also makes sense why Meg's white hoodie has the Hope symbol on it. Survivors want a symbol of hope.
Lmao but meg is a runner, nea is the looper so shouldnt nea get it XD
-
I saved the video and will post it (after i edit it down from a full hour)

Lmao nerf trapper traps they were the real mvps

What are some amazing loops you've managed to pull off?

Not enough survivors to go around.
I wonder why? Honestly find survivor easier than playing killer (unless in playing billy or spirit cause I'm literal [bad word] at nurse) but then again as survivor i normally just sit on a gen for 90% of the match...

Thanks for the friendly input. I’ll look some stuff up YouTube. But man it can be a bit frustrating when I feel like the point of running is useless. They seem so much faster and to top it off the spirit and legion are by far the fastest and almost un jukeable. My son played killer for the first time and wiped the survivors out with one perk and 5 generators still to go.
Your son did that because if it's his first time picking up killer its also the survivors first time picking up survivor and im guessing your son played survivor before killer so he already had that experience therefore the better knowledge of the game wins out which is how it should be (also 20-17 survivors suck at doing gens anyways)

Players who use NOED are just doing so bad that they have to compensate their lack of skill by using training wheels. That just means there are more bad players than last year.
Or there are more toxic deranked SWFs roaming the lower ranks like death squads with gg ez git gud yea I can see why noed went up but wont matter cause these death squads have already cleansed the totems.

I was sitting around with 14 skeleton keys on my Meg before EGC. Down to 2 now, but I've had a minimum of 25 escapes via the hatch since EGC was implemented.
So you agree it is highly possible to get the hatch?
-
Actually the aura is hard to see but if you know what to look for you can spot them cross map arms are easy to spot because they are moving just in my experience not saying I have dabbled in aura shadow sniping or that I've done it much, im just very observant as killer FYI survivors can do it aswell
-
I made a game mode a while back called collision it was a 2v8 very well done and a strict straight forward guidelines

@C3Tooth fair suggestions, but I feel like toxic a$$ wholes will just keep on picking up the same person, M2 them, pick up, M2, et. until death. that needs a balance. maybe you can't pick the same person up until 6 seconds if you M2 them?
Lmao m2 accounts to a rushed action XD
-
@ElusivePukka said:
Billy already has a club. Billy's also already an M1 killer against good survivors.
You can already aim Anna's hatchets, it just takes some getting used to.
While I'm down for alternate abilities, now that there's a killer with threeish (Freddy with two at a time, taking the crowns from Amanda and Derpface with one and a half each), each of your suggestions is already in the game in effect.
Some tweaks to the bow idea would be nifty, though. Maybe make it pierce as well.
Trapper could come along with snares instead of bear traps, making running near walls and trees dangerous.
This person never ran into a tree trapper

I have my messages turned off and if they did that to me i'd report it as harassment to both PSN and the devs
The devs already said they can't control psn, or Xbox messages so sending a report to them is wasting your time just send it to your console report system unless you are on computer and they use the post-game chat Instead of whatever steam has

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/75823/why-is-it-that-if-i-use-franklins-im-trash
items are kinda the equivalent of survivors killer powers, imagine they had a perk to completely get rid of a nurses blink or a billy chainsaw just by doing a gen, thats how it feels , to a lesser extent of course
As a survivor i never bring an item in it ruins my bp net gain 0 spent to get 15-20k is far better than spending 15k to earn 25-30k and taking a higher chance of dying because my item giving me away just my two cents.
-
@Slayer said:
Something i learned about this all is that if you want to earn more bp just take bbq and try to win. You ll get same amount of points regardless. If you concentrate on getting more points you ll just lose and get even less points with wasting a lot of time in total on top of that.
On the contrary, I play wraith, Freddy, GF, some times doctor or billy and get max and win just by wearing down the survs first down is a slug then let them come in and get a few hits off then hook my good little bait (especially if they are my obsession *cough cough* STBFL)
-
I've noticed some lag on some matches and started receiving some toxic messages. I play on ps4.
Yea that is bad... (Bad word) I think I have bad internet with an upload of over 100mbps and download of nearly 40 XD

Hex Ruin is entirely situational, if it is well hidden its extremly powerful, let's say you use it in 10 matches: in 6 matches they will destroy it in the first .5 - 2.5 mins. in 3 it will last more than 3 min and in 1 match they will find it after 4 min or never!
in red ranks 95%(number pulled from my ass)of the killers use it, but they go knowing it will be destroyed quickly!
From my perspective, when I play as survivor in red ranks, if the killer manages to hook 2 survivors before the first gen is repaired, Ruin already served its purpose
If you want defend your totem I suggest you to use a killer with high mobility (hillbilly nurse or spirit) if not, just let the survivors waste whatever time it took to them to find it, and you use that time to build momentum (aka find, down and hook your first survivor)!
Personally, instead of play with 3 perks for the rest of the match (once they cleanse the totem), I use Thanatophobia and Sloppy Butcher, it makes painfully slow to heal yourself, so some of them choose not to, slowing everybody a few seconds, some go to search someone else to be healed, wasting time, and other, the less... inclined to use their brains... heal themselves, wasting a lot of time! and advantage that last the entire match and not a few mins like Ruin!
I consider Ruin mandatory for huntress, and you can defend your totem relatively easy with the hag and trapper
But play as you deem fit(aka as you see what the survivors bring to the lobby since sometimes franklin's demise is more useful than Ruin, and even a green mori can hurt greatly the momentum of the survivors)!
Lmao around the event I got like 2 ebony per web yea needless to say I have a few collecting dust
-
I actually enjoy the corn maps with a stalking killer if you get on top or the balcony in the house you CAN essentially cross map stalk someone with GF
-
Honestly, the wraith's scarecrow outfit screams more of a haunted weed than scarecrow (also if im not mistaken billy also has a scarecrow themed outfit) id love to see a scarecrow killer (i also had an idea for one and posted the idea in the fan-made chapter)

I also agree survivor is beyond easy

@Chordyceps said:
Killer: Tunnel Vision
A darkness envelops you wherever you go. Survivors within your terror radius suffer from a vignette effect, which worsens the longer they stay in it. This can obscure up to 15%/25%/33% of the survivor's FOV.
Survivor: Desperate Grab
While on the killer's shoulders, you can pull down palettes close to you, stunning the killer for 2/3/4 seconds. This can be done once per match. Increases your chance of becoming the obsession.
So a weak DS with no timer, no prerequisites other than a pallet along the route, which i can only see being used along with DS
-
We all know Jesus boy jeff took Claudette's pharmacy to grow a pass time that he probably shares with Jake (not judging) that or he has claudette do that for them.
-
My build is spine chill, sprint burst, lightweight, and empathy. Spine chill to know when to stop healing this injured guy (nurse's calling killers) and when to sprint away from my gen (because the killer is going to search the immediate area) sprint burst to get as far away as quick as possible lightweight takes care of the marks, empathy to know when someone is being chase and I'm completely safe, or to find an injured guy to heal them or on the off chance the killer found hit me then lost me.

I agree. Killers can dodge certain survivors - I've gone into a full lobby where the killer and survivors are readied up and as soon as I load in, the killer dodges. It's usually always someone I've gone against before. They can avoid survivors who have been toxic or are just really good...why can't survivors do the same? I have a list of killers that I would love to avoid...and not because of being beaten, but because of relentless tunneling, camping, slugging, griefing, etc. Like Twinbros says, if killers are being repeatedly dodged , maybe they should assess their game play methods. So many killers brag about not caring about fair game play and boast about their camp/tunnel strategy, claiming they don't care about other people's experiences...so let them reap what they sow.
I dont dodge toxic survivors, I block them to avoid being matched with them again survivors can do the same
