Well i don´t see killers asking survivors to play more, soooo.
They really should play more survivor during the day. I shouldn't be forced to play at night just because I want to kill survivor mains...

Mmr addresses this issue. If you can't win with Pig, lose until you get to an mmr where you can.

wood smashing killer hookers
Just drop the word killer so that the context cannot be misconstrued.

Leatherface's skill curve is underestimated by people who absolutely suck as him and never play him for anything other than Basement shenanigans. But there is no way he is easier than Billy. At least add on less.
-
I think they understand deep down that the only people they can get away with BMing during the game and not at exit gates are beginners. So I doubt they feel silly.

- There are no "Neutral" Content Creators. Every Content Creator has his own agenda, to produce content that makes him look good.
- Due to the fact that MMR is capped the Playerpool at max MMR will increase overtime and that 500h Meghead will be capped out at some point.
- Maybe just maybe the Devs of the Game that have Stats of houndreds and thousands of matches know more about gamedesign than you and me.
(I dislike SBMM aswell, but i don't pretend to know more about gamedesign or balance than an actual PROFESSIONAL gamedesigner or developer, just like i don't pretend to know more about vaccines than my doctor.)
Nah, if they think hit validation needs to exist for pallet drops and dead hard but not vaults, they do not know how to design games better than I do. I must be some super genius to believe consistency is better than arbitrary changes. I never even went to game design school to get my game design degree, I am just naturally gifted, Mr. White.

Grades are not mmr. I can hit red ranks as bottom mmr, fam. If you getting 4ks while playing fair, you are NOWHERE near the top. Unless you have some gameplay to prove the survivors were actually decent, but you know... Decent survivors aren't getting 4kd if you play nice. Bottom tier survivors will get 4kd by accident, though.
-
Because that is what makes him so good. It basically mitigates his weakness of handing out free health states and you create a dead zone faster than any other killer in the game which helps you snowball late game. It is not like he is best killer in the game or anything. However, he is not mid tier, that is crazy talk. Heck, even the people who think Pyramid Head is better just because he ignores DS are sus. The stun off that is less time than it would take to clear pallets.

I played too much games as nemesis to underrate him. Too much dude. He's really not
Do you tunnel heavily with him?

@landromat said:
He's not super underrated. he's an ok killer, but far from great
Im not talking about zombies getting stuck on any object on swamp
Says someone that super underrates him. Yes, we know you people cannot see why he is underrated. But can you see why kids love cinnamon toast crunch?
-
Otz is not neutral, neutral would be being neutral. I am neutral. You can tell because I do not make posts praising or hating mmr and have said I could live with or without it.
Being against mmr is just being against mmr, lol???
-
I suppose the Leatherface adept, mostly because it is the only one I have and will ever go for. Oh, the 3 hanging in a Basement one also gets me going.
-
If it has a cooldown, I feel that way about the perk.
-
Anything goes. I do not really care too much. I guess it would be nice if survivors didn't exploit terrain? But I have so far used that to my advantage regardless, so I am not super passionate about it.
-
Think about it this way, if they teabag, it is because they think it offends someone. Now why would they believe that? You guessed it. Because it offends them. So yes, nod back at them and watch as their world collapses. Very easy troll technique.
-
Realistically, given grades do nothing anymore, they probably should be shared. And yes, I am just saying that because I do not like grinding them both up every month.

I had this in my matches as well. I played as hag and I got permastunned by a claudette and infinite flashlighted by a dwight.
This is undeniable proof that the game is faulty and beyond repair.
I deny this proof. I believe in the repairs.
-
I wouldn't ever use cells to buy original characters. The grind is bad, but it is always better to use them to buy a licensed killer. Even if there is no one you are interested in at the moment, there might be in the future. Don't rush to spend it. Just wait until there is something you actually want from the shop. I believe some weapons are only 300, or certain costume parts.
I was going to use some of my remaining ones for the school girl Spirit outfit, uwu.
-
The harsh reality is that they do not care about high mmr. If they did, they would have balanced the game or at least started even if we are a few months late. Lol.
The thing people do not understand is that killer is genuinely ludicrously broken at low mmr. Seriously. Any killer buffs would eviscerate the new player experience. And nobody is offering constructive advice on how to address that issue.
I actually feel bad for them because some devs just do nothing and ignore problems for the sake of it. But I believe the issue here is that they need to have this tug of war philosophy to try and please the largest group possible and every change throws that into chaos, so they spend more time trying to stabilize it. No excuses for stupid changes like Deathslinger's nerfs, why they waste their time on stuff like that is beyond me. However, there is more to it than most people are willing to admit.
-
I can barely remember what that feels like ever since I started running Iron Grasp and Agitation. So sad when you down them on the wrong side of the map and make it JUST in front of the Basement Hook only for them to finally break out.
-
My killer queues are still long during the day, we need more of them to quit. Add hit validation to vaulting you cowards!
-
Ask yourself their value to you. It is probably somewhere close to zero, yes? Well there you go, that literally useless person who could barely articulate their thoughts will disappear from yours faster than you can ask yourself, "seriously, what is wrong with people?"

Unpopular opinion alert:
People are extremely over exaggerating the current state and balance of the game.
In what way?
-
You are correct. It doesn't need to be removed. Thanks for your contribution.
-
What I did was unlocked BBQ and Ruin, and then got those on all killers before unlocking other perks. To be honest, that was before boons and mmr. Ruin is kind of whatever now. It is strong for new players, but with mmr, you do not need strong perks anymore and will probably learn faster without it.
Corrupt/Deadlock is way better if you did want something suitable for high mmr. Not sure I would recommend buying Pinhead to beginners, however.
-
It literally is tunneling. By all means, go ahead. I see no problem with it, but I do not get the obsession with this community of pretending they aren't doing the things they are doing. People are strange.
-
You get the sacrifice if they DC on hook. They only deny BBQ stacks if they do it before the first hook, that is about all they can do outside of ruin achievements and challenges.
-
It was more or less the same as always for me when I played earlier. But it was freaking out whenever I was messing around in the store pretending they weren't selling Auric Cells. I had to back out and reenter the shop for the option to buy to return. That was the only "weird" thing with DBD today, for me.
-
@Blueberry said:
That is indeed very odd.
The only reasonable thing I can think of that would cause that would be killers intentionally deranking. Surprised they'd even be able to derank that low though.
That's also definitely going to be skewing any hypothetical data/statistics we're given any time soon since mmr release.
Getting 4ks on low mmr survivors kind of defeats the purpose of deranking.

I agree with Aven_Fallen something definitely weird happened on the latest grade reset, being the 13th. It feels like they almost reset the MMR. Which would be crazy... but we'd never know.
I started looking back at threads within 3 days of reset mentioning queue times and basically nobody brought it up, and I even saw your name talking about how the queues were balanced. Sus.

@Aven_Fallen said:
And now everyone pretends again that playing Killer is SO HARD and this is why Killers quit. Always the same nonsense. Really, it gets tiresome.
@Topic:
I dont know what changed, but something changed. Survivor Queues got longer all of the sudden with the latest Grade Reset. This also shows it is not Killers quitting the game, this would be a gradual process and not from one day to the other.
If I would have to guess, I would say that it is because they changed something with MMR. Before it seemed like there were too many Killers on the high(er) MMR-Scale, because it is easier to get high MMR as Killer than Survivor. This would also explain why I got a bunch of Baby Survivors with my Huntress, I did play her today and the Survivors I got were way worse than my usual Survivors I get with her. I dont expect very strong Survivors, because I am not a great Huntress, but those were way worse and it was not even close to a challenge.
And again - this happened basically instantly.
It has been gradual for me. They keep getting longer and longer.
You had instant queues into long waits right on the 13th? Are there threads about it that I missed?
-
Two faces? One loved the game play and the other said GG. Seems really positive to me.
Is "Damn Bro" guy being toxic or something?
-
If you want to tunnel someone off hook, just count to 12 unless they give away that they don't have Borrowed with something strange like a premature Dead Hard.
-
My friend literally rage quit the session after being the victim of these tunnel into face camp combo killers. It was kind of awkward. Was ironically right around the time you posted this thread. What a funny coincidence.

Some people's children, I swear.
Last night I played a game where one person DC'd immediately, and the next killed themselves on hook, so I was like okay, I'll play nice and let these two get some points. One was having fun, but the other hid (it seems) in lockers just long enough not to set off the crow notifications. After like 15 minutes I was right next to a locker when they finally got a crow (lucky), and as I went to pull them out, they used head on. I pretty quickly downed them, let the other unhook, then heal, then downed and hooked them again.
I was going to kill them for hiding the whole time, but the other survivor indicated that I should hook them instead (charitable), and when I did, they just refused to unhook them, stared at us both and let them die, then ran. they didn't get far.
Why do any of that if not to be a total toxic ass? My wife (who plays a little) was watching, and was just like, why?
I am sure you have learned your lesson, but never trust those types of survivors. They are always like that in my experience, if they play like there is something a little off about them, mentally, there probably is something off with them irl. It is not just a coincidence. They live it, bro.

It is so obvious that the developers don't care about the killer experience, despite a killer player being required for EVERY GAME.
The developers constantly talk about killers and killer perks "overperforming," but let me ask, have you every head them use that terminology on any survivors? Boons? It's absurd. Killers are gonna leave this game as soon as a better alternative arrives, which I think is soon.
They literally added bit validation to DEAD HARD. That is peak right there.
-
I do not really like playing him unless I am doing Basement Trapper. That makes things a lot easier.

Nemesis' shattered badge or whatever is called is actually very popular in tournaments.
Yeah, I can see why. I play add on less, and always heard about how bad Nemesis iri add ons were. But while trying to get all perks for him recently, I was forced to buy one and read the description. It is kind of cracked.
-
Survivors deciding to just stay injured is fine by me, though. And also, they are rarely smart enough to do that regardless. They brought a boon and by the elder gods, they will use it!
-
Yeah, we (my g unit swf) need to play earlier in the day to ignore the crippling queue times. But we also do Genshin, so it is lowkey annoying. If we put off Genshin until later, the resin doesn't fully recharge. So... Kind of yikes.
-
Not unless they have shadow step, otherwise, I could care less if they want to go and heal against a Leatherface.

Because if the reasons being given are genuine, people would be doing more than just writing in a forum. And I don't believe they are (and I know a few already who aren't).
Also, I can smell a virtue signaller across continents 😁
Do I virtue signal, and if so, what do I smell like?
-
To be fair, if killer was the dominate role, the opposite would be true. It makes more sense to just have one player be the jester, rather than four.
-
Someone had the name "Slug Me [redacted to prevent witchhuntng]" and, well, I kept them slugged until they bled out. They were very mad the experience wasn't at all what they expected and told me to kill myself. Very sad when I go out of my way to make people's dreams come true and they treat me like I am some sort of animal.
-
It doesn't matter. When bad killers run NOED, you still get a 3 man escape. They still need to down whoever their victim is. And there is still counter play if you decide to go that route. Before and after. The only people who whine about NOED are bad survivors who are even worse than the bad killers they are complaining about which is just sad.
-
And yet this never happens when I have Lethal on. Coincidence? I think not!

"Showstopper"
Like I get it, Trickster is a performer and yada yada but this just doesn't fit imo, if it had something to do with music then Id be on board
Ive always liked the Hag's power name "Blackened Catalyst", sounds cool
Doesn't the lore change his performance into killing people rather than anything to do with music? I thought he was showing Yun Jin his killing technique and not necessarily his new mix tape. But it has been a bit since I read his lore.
