When I get a map or key out of a chest, chef kiss.

Well killers can second stage camp, it's not always on the teammates. Many killers will camp til second then tunnel just to use the mori. To me, that is toxic.
Well, yeah, if they are getting close to second stage, I am going to stick around to confirm it or trade. It isn't my fault they made that guy a free target. I just do not get this mentality of survivors blaming killers for their teammates ineptitude. Rofl. But whatever, it is what it is. I am used to it at this point.
-
Nope. I get decently balanced games during the day, and way higher during the night. And I only really play during the night. So RIP to me.
-
I am a Nancy one trick. So basically inner strength and small game are my bread and butter. I am a loot goblin, so plunderers is key. And borrowed so that I feel less bad about farming my mates.
-
At my level of play, it would be amazing. At higher ends? Eh. I wouldn't leave the DS, Unbreakable, Borrowed, Dead Hard shell if I wanted to win.

This makes zero sense. How does waiting the timer out stop the Survivor from crawling out of the open gate? Same goes for eating the stun.
I think they might be a survivor? Like, one that for some reason doesn't try to recover the slug. It is a weird opinion, mang. No idea where it is coming from.
-
That face when you have never played Overwatch before.
-
I enjoy the first idea. Pair it with a full 360 detection range and we have ourselves a very competent mechanic that survivors would be forced to respect.
-
Use Lightborn, our lord and savior. Ignore all the people who are super self conscious about picking up and think standing over a body, zoning them out, standing over body, committing to chase, and then risking an unbreakable or stun is worth it simply because one other person wasn't doing a gen while you accomplished literally nothing. Just level Billy, grab Lightborn, you see one rodent bring a flashlight, you put the perk on. Voila. The game just got 100% less frustrating.
People who go on 800 winstreaks still get chucked (lol autocorrect) by them. They never stop being busted.
-
@BabuDweet said:
well if people are camped til second stage then the killer tunnels off hook just to mori, in that circumstance they are still toxic when used like that but apart from that they definitely are no longer toxic imo.
I mean, that is more the team's fault than the killer. Why wouldn't you hook trade if it was getting close to stage 2?
-
To be perfectly honest, Ruin/Undying is only good because survivors don't fear it. Play with Devour Hope and you will see how they change their style from "waah, I want to rush gens" to "holy mother of lightborn, FIND THE TOTEM."
-
They should lose it faster, if you ask me.
-
Oh, yeah, especially late at night. I get full red rank swf because I guess their queues are so long they will throw just any killer into the game. You get used to it. Sometimes a bad map with someone who can loop will cause you to give a few escapes. But for the most part, red ranks aren't THAT much better than the purple ones. Imo.
-
I only really BM flashlight users, even when they don't use their flashlight. Rofl. So I wouldn't know.
-
Nah, I hoard them from escaping, though. I run plunderers. But yeah, I am vanilla. No add ons or items for me.
-
Were you carrying a flashlight? That is the reason I do it. Lol.

I used to hate the map but people spamming the offerings basically made me learn it by brute force, so I kind of like it now. Although I must admit it incentivizes camping A LOT. I always choose one side of the map to defend and I basically never leave it.
I usually try to hold the lobby and the closer gens on both sides until late game where I kind of convert to just one half. But maybe I should try your way, might be easier. Rofl.
-
I really wish I could forfeit as killer when the two of those betas go for a hatch stand off.
-
Someone ran me for like 4 gens and I didn't feel like I was messing up too much, I just felt they were genuinely better. They were really nice and humble (they said it was just because they got lucky with all the pallets) sent me a GG and even gave me advice on how to use Ghostface better. Nothing but respect. He was great at the game, had good sportsmanship, and even went out of his way to help me improve. I was very frustrated during the game though, especially because my goal, especially against survivors outmatching me, is 4 BBQ stacks. I got the first 3 very easily, but they ran me the rest of the game to the exit gates.
-
It all depends on if they want to take the balance more seriously at higher levels. Mmr suggests they do. But we would need to wait for that to become permanent and settle as maybe the developers genuinely believe what some of the people here do. Rofl. You never know.
-
Well... Obviously it is easy to abuse. You just do nothing for a minute or whatever, and voila. Get out of jail free card.
-
What does murdering people have to do with how you want it, fam?

You already get struggle points. Survivors on hook don’t need additional points - people should just learn to not be entitled…
”Waaaah! I’m hooked first so I’m going to kill myself on hook!”
I mean, maybe I would stick around if I got points for sticking around. The struggle bonus is not worth the time it would take to queue into a better game.
-
Ghostface is my favorite, obviously. I am addicted to punishing boosted survivors. And also you need the dunks to rival the toxicity of a survivor main.
Huntress... As much as I hate to admit it. She is just really fun. I am a licensed only kind-of guy, but I made exceptions for the ranged killers. She is more or less the easiest to play and the strongest, with the most interesting lore on top of it. Just a great killer overall.
Nemesis. He is just the most dynamic killer with the amount of passives he has, I also love his anti loop and chase music. Just so satisfying.
To vs? Pyramid Head because he is free. That is really the only killer I actually feel confident against. I like Pig because of reverse bear traps and Doctor because I am a stealth player, so he really ramps up the fear factor.
-
Spookyloopz just made a video, I believe you are supposed to cut these ones inward. And you can 50/50 at the T. Hopefully I got that correct, I am still trying to learn myself as, well, I kind of agree with OP. Anything with 2 windows is just naturally going to be survivor favored unless you mind game them, imo.
-
Yes, I ran into a super blatant one (or 2). Not sure if the person in his group was actively hacking or if he was just healing them up too. It can happen, though.
-
Oni is just harder to play, but he is genuinely good. Basically the opposite of Pyramid Head who is also hard to play and not nearly as good as anyone makes him out to be.
-
But why? I respect the 12 seconds if I suspect borrowed regardless. I wouldn't know whether they had a lower variation unless they do something stupid like deadhard before their timer is up.
-
I want a revert and for survivors to stop camping pallets which was already suboptimal to begin with. Two birds, one stone. People learn the game better, and trades would actually trade.
-
I do not use add ons. I am too much of a hoarder to waste those. So, I obviously agree. It is kind of lame that I play a weak version of killers because they needed bloodpoint fodder and couldn't come up with anything better.
-
Honestly, removing Hawkins instead of reskinning it was more or less the worst they could do. And I didn't rage quit.
Albeit, I guess if they started removing other good maps like The Game or Dead Dawg Saloon I would certainly feel the pain as I do now while they are not in rotation and I get forest after forest.
-
It really isn't treated as equally bad so much as something potentially bad in absence of camping or tunneling to give the survivor an excuse.
-
Probably some adjustments to our current matchmaking to shift towards the mmr system. Developers often change these under the hood.
-
I feel like Nurse is stronger just because there is less counterplay. Albeit, only at levels where she is mastered, otherwise I assume most killers would get more value out of Spirit.

Y'know, fair enough, I still don't know how legit any of that is, but let's go with it. The issue still remains that now killers are the ones getting screwed and nothing actually got fixed
All I can say is that when I am on killer, the "server" has only given me the hit twice resulting in a trade that should technicalky be impossible now as if they got the stun, they got the stun. As a survivor, I literally always get priority.
So weird that my role tends to have more to do with whether the server decides I dropped it first or not. So strange, especially, given I am trash at survivor and competent at killer. Such a coincidence that so many people are experiencing the same stuff and the rebuttal is, "yes, but survivors used to have it worse."

It's more a mix of attempting to balance the game as well as judging what people are finding problematic. It's not as simple as hearing players want a perk changed and doing it without thinking.
Some changes, like Hillbilly's cooldown, were made with absolutely nobody putting in any request to do so. Likewise, huge threads about changing certain perks have resulted in no action. So there's definitely evidence to confirm alterations are based on more than just pleasing people.
Which is great, coming from Overwatch, I have such insane ptsd for devs who cater to everyone willing to shed a single tear. I am really happy with the balance team we have here by comparison. So much love.

You do not feel outplayed when a survivor predrops back to back god pallets? What? I feel so thoroughly owned.
-
I love Lethal Pursuer on Ghostface so I can get my one instant down. After that, I go back to being an m1 killer because I do not have time to sneak around the map and running add-on-less makes me not want to risk using his power outside of loops or traversing the map.
-
"September." That is the best I can offer you.

Additionally, Survivors can ragequit a game, which makes the Killer unable to plus pip. HOWEVER, the ragequit only affects the DC'd Survivor, so the other 3 can still plus pip, despite the Killer's inability to do so.
(Yes, sure, the Killer still technically can, but the likelihood plummets. You are more likely NOT to, and that's garbage.)
To be fair, you do not depip even if 3 leave. Had that happen today, on RPD o spawned at the top of the stairs and checked to see if anyone spawned at the gate, as that is usually where I spawn. Saw three of them, used chainsaw and downed 1 in like the first 10 seconds and got the 3 man ragequit. The last guy just hid somewhere during end game collapse. I did basically nothing and maintained rank.
I guess it kind of sucks that you can't climb, especially if it was one of those baby rage DCs as you are about to hook them the third time. But in situations like mine, ranking up for free would be weird as hell.
-
A great idea that would totally circumvent some of the grind without actively removing it. Quite the ideal compromise.
-
Just keep struggling, I guess? That is how they usually decide to address my Basement Bubba antics. If they just killed themselves, I would go and find another victim. But if they stay alive, I am forced to stick around if I want easy basement hooks... Which I need for the challenge. Albeit, sticking around risks your team playing a little sus and I might snowball to get the 4k off of that.
I felt bad for this rank 20. Surprised one of her friends didn't hook trade with her. And they call ME the toxic one. Smh.

Very good response thank you. I guess me being solo survivor I try to find reasons I lose and sometimes I just need to be honest and say it's the fact I can't talk to my team and they could be individuall bad
For a second I thought you were going to take personal responsibility. Rofl.
In all seriousness, I dislike playing against him too. They are very unfriendly in my experience.
-
I think their definition of small is unrealistic. This would be enough to advance a survivor a hook state, easily.
-
You haven't been playing the characters you liked? Bloodpoints are not contingent on the character you are playing. If anything, it makes way more sense to stick to favorites while grinding for others...
-
This is the first time I have seen anyone call Barbecue OP... Because of the bloodpoints. What in the world?
-
I kind of like getting surprised. But, well, given I will never buy any of it, I guess it shouldn't matter. I would be down.
That being said, developers HATE committing to dates. So I doubt it will ever happen.

Either A, you are a Killer pkayer in which case GREAT NEWS, there are currently 23 other Killers you can play as, and if by some odd chance none of them tickle you pink you do have another one coming in a week or two Id say.
Or, and this is what I assume to be the case, B) You are a Survivor who is unhappy that Wraith is no longer a complete joke to go against and are attempting the tried and true "not fun" defense, in which case here is some advice.
Git gud
A week or two? He isn't coming in a few days? I hope not, man, I am running out of room to put overflow bloodpoints.
-
No Stewie as a killer? Dang it. I was really hoping for that.
