Nope. Killers would need ruin base kit bare minimum to deal with 8 guaranteed "second" chances. Like holy mother of Lightborn.
-
I feel like that would unironically nerf killers. I do not like the idea. Hex perks are sus enough as is.

I think average killer experience is not that bad. But when you get swf or very strong survivors you are very limited with killers that can compete no matter how good you are. Not to mention how frustrating multitasking can get.
Survivor is more chill even if you don't escape a lot. It depends a lot on the teammates you get tho.
Both sides can be enjoyable and unenjoyable but amount of stress you can get as killer is way above survivor imo. You can get frustrated as survivor sure but as a killer there is no easy way out and you have to babysit everyone for the whole game.
To be fair, if it is a game where there isn't much I can do, it will end very quickly as gens are flying. So while I cannot Suicide on hook to leave early, I am not going to need to wait THAT long regardless.
-
I would just rather smaller maps...
-
Oh, you didn't see the change where pallet drops became survivor favored regardless of the circumstances? Supposedly the server decides. But you know, I went from getting trades pretty much every time a survivor was stupid enough to camp a pallet to getting 1 since the update. How I got that one is a mystery to even myself. The server was supposed to pick the survivor, and yet they were downed... Like the good old days.

Not sure what killer you play, but try playing a ranged killer or just play spirit. I personally play Huntress most because she can get around a lot of the bs frustrations that come with playing killer just as the other ranged ones do so try one of them out. You'll probably enjoy killer more
I try not to become too reliant on her, but yeah, she is really satisfying. I fear the day I too become jaded as a killer and just decide to one trick Huntress. She plays better than some of the killers I actually have experience with running full meta with just her one perk.
-
It really depends on what angle you are going for. If you want a guaranteed kill, you should realistically have a kill at 3 hooks. Just tunnel, you have a kill, you no longer feel bad, and the rest of the match will be MUCH easier.
If you do not want to tunnel, you need to stop feeling bad that they are all getting away when you refuse to prioritize targets. Make hooks your goal. 6 hooks is reasonable if they are cranking out gens. The equivalent of 2 kills, which is considered by many to be a draw.

The devs were asked point blank "do you think that camping, slugging and tunneling is a toxic way of playing" and they said it was a strategy that they encouraged. So I 100% blame them.
Heck, I more or less agree with them and do not feel that I should be blamed for the egregious use of them in those games, if I wasn't outright planning on leaving the game, we would have probably gotten a 4 man escape with ease. I am not mad at killers in general. I am mad at one killer specifically and extremely confused at another. That is it, and as I said, I was tunneled out first 5 games in a row.
The developers are not to be blamed for the actions of those 2 dirtbags. I am almost mad that they didn't camp and tunnel properly.
-
Nurse is kind of a killer I play when I want to derank while still trying my best. I could never main her until I made it back to rank 20. Rofl.
-
I agree with everything but the chase music. I need that jam.

I’m sorry but that is a horrible idea. It’s unanimously agreed upon that increasing gen speeds is not the solution to fixing SWF.
Clearly it is not unanimous if you have to actively explain to someone who doesn't agree that it is unanimously agreed upon. Lol.
-
Perhaps, if they didn't choose Pinhead over him presumably months ago. But probably not.
-
I am confused. Yeah, or no? Which is it? Those are like opposites, bro!

But see here's the thing, blaming killers for playing in a way in which the devs DESINGED this game to be played makes no sense. Because sure they could play none toxic like I do, but I don't blame them for playing toxic, when the devs literally made this game so it was the prime way to play. I'm saying that the way to fix it is to simply fix the way this game is designed so toxicity is extremely hard to do, and you will have to go out of your way to do it. And it can be done very simply by changing the hooks to act the exact same way that cage of atonement does. That 1 change will nearly completely eliminate tunneling and camping.
Nah, I can blame them for being a piece of garbage if I so desire. I am a killer main that supports camping, tunneling, and slugging. Whatever gets the job done. I rarely do those useless a challenge needs completed mind you, but I totally understand.
The 2 I am talking about? I have no clue, fam. No design would have saved me from them as they did go out of their way to basically misplay after I already indicated I had no real intention of playing. Blaming the devs for them being literal trash makes no sense.
-
I do the weird Pig squeal thing where you spam it.
-
I mean... I am going to buy whatever licensed killer they come up with unless it is horrible. Horrible as in a bad choice of character, not their power level. Albeit, I got the game for free, so, you know, it is like I just bought the game from back when I should have.
But yeah, even though I had a really rough time yesterday and ran into 5 tunnelers who found me first in a row, half of them being degenerate, I was obviously triggered. But I do not blame the good half of those killers. The other half? Nah, they were just scummy and would play that way even if it was the weakest style.
-
Nah. I have never been huge on rematches even in fighting games. I tend to learn the player rather than the match up, so it is pointless for me. If I naturally find the same survivor, it do not really care as typically every other circumstance would be different.
Generally speaking, I am just playing for fun. I have had fun matches where all escape and I wasn't actively letting them go. I have had boring matches where I 4k in like 3 minutes. So, you never know, if the game was really fun and all 4 survivors stayed, I would probably give it a chance.
As a survivor? If I found a decent killer, I would use it all the time. Ran into a Deathslinger that was really good and was purposely 2 hooking us. It felt amazing to be allowed to play the game while facing someone competent. I only made it out because plunderer gave me a key and I saw hatch while running on death hook.

Killers mostly DCing at the end game when the doors are open. I don't know why they do that. Just wait 10-20 seconds.
Same reasons survivors DC when you down them on death hook. Or second hook. Or even the first one...
-
This is more of a map and spawn issue...
-
As far as I could tell, they were actually useful on the ptb, but then people cried, and now they are nearly useless with the odd moment here or there.
-
Nope, never seen a good content creator play him either, and when they do, they would have done better with different killers, as they always do. If you looked up "overrated killer" Pyramid Head's image would be right by it.

Uh, excuse you.
I often feel sorry for the last guy if it's a stomp because of stupid plays, or I happen to be in a good enough mood to offer it to the last guy.
There ain't no power trip in charity.
Yeah, when I power trip. I let them bleed out and teabag them, why the heck would I give them an escape? It is out of the kindness of my cold, dead, and black heart.
-
They pretend like they want to help, but you need to do better if you want me to do what you want. Give me a nice reason. All of the inept red ranks trying to save the survivor I am tunneling, you need to give me a free hit or its a no go. You can sit there and watch, I am not coming to you. Come to me, baby.
-
People who use sabotage to save teammates do not seem to understand the consequence of that despite it apparently being their playstyle.
-
Honestly, it kind of depends on your system. My ps4 runs better than my sister's. Why? No clue. So I wouldn't be surprised if some people had issues on next gen, but I doubt that is the norm.
-
I have only been given a free sacrifice once. I have let literally hundreds of survivors go. And I am the toxic one, apparently. Never change survivors.
-
150? You have that high of a failure rate? Did you mix up Deliverance with Slippery Meat by accident?
-
Kind of weird that a DC doesn't count as a kill in general.

Well, if you are the last survivor, you will still be killed by the hook instantly even though you still have 3 attempts to unhook yourself. So this logic doesn't work.
Heck, you could just kill them with Racor or something and avoid hooking entirely. Rofl.

Never do that, just kill them all and move on.
That's the risk you take when being kind in this community. Actually, I wouldn't even call that kindness, more like satisfying someone's entitlement.
It is like feeding strays. They will just expect more and more!

I've had survivors vault a window and stand there like you know I'm just filling to 99% and your team is probably going to pay the price.
Honestly I started playing survivor because I was starting to find killer unfun and was getting mad at survivors I figured I would play survivor and chill let that survivor hate cool off.
Nope I have even more survivor hate they are just as much an AH to teammates as killers. Farm unhooking, leaving me after getting my first hook to die even know I had kindred, running to the gen im on and slamming the pallet down or fast vaulting and taking of and keys yeah later teammates me and my buddy are out of here good luck
Oh, I was about to warn you that you would hate them even more once you played with them... But I guess you already figured that out. Do not get me wrong, the chill ones? Amazing people. Love them.
The problematic ones? If they were on fire and I needed the bathroom, I would look for the bathroom. The nicest way I could put that.

Doctors are absolute pure evil and just make me want to uninstall the game, most of them anyway. And the vast majority of them that run Frosty Eyes, just a double whammy. There's also 99% chance that they'll run NOED.
Most Megs will go down within 2 seconds of a chase, but then the other half of Megs are absolutely cracked and will run the killer and flashlight click them for 5 gens.
Most Ghostfaces that I've played against are absolute pure evil as well because they take advantage of the fact that they can teabag and do everything with it that they can. (No offence to OP! I'm sure you're lovely).
Oh, man, I just played a game where I literally almost bled someone out as he crawled from one end of the map to the open exit gate. I teabagged the entire time. I am not absolute pure evil, though, I did let him go for enduring the pleasure of my sweaty cloak covered you know what's rubbing on him. At a certain point, it is just excessive. But I was committed to the plan.

Oh, geez, that is absurd. Ha ha ha... what the hell? Move over Ghostface, you have some competition!

Sounds like that was the survivor's fault for sandbagging you, even if it was an accident.
I think Myers with infinite tier 3 is weaker than base-kit Myers, simply because it takes 10 years to charge it up even with J. Myers which brings it down to 5 years, and the fact that he always has a 32m radius, giving survivors time to hold W. If you 99 tier 3 without infinite tier 3, you can sneak up on survivors with the lower terror radius from tier 2 so that they have less time to get distance from you. Couple that with Rabbit's Foot and Monitor & Abuse, and he's a lot more threatening than infinite tier 3.
Thanks for the idea. I feel like Monitor and Abuse would be great on him. No idea what Rabbits Foot is, though.

There still should be DC blood points cause the match making is messed up for me. I’m rank 10 killer and when I play my worst killer, executioner, I go up against rank 4s reds, but when I play as my main, wraith, I go up against my level to even 15.
I have that same issue with Pyramid Head. I stopped playing him for now because of it. I am going to wait until I get him p3 and hopefully I will be a better killer by then.
-
It could be, I guess, but he is really decent at finding survivors. I find them perkless with Wraith easier than I do with full information builds on other killers. So, you know, Wraith with information perks is going to result in finding survivors with relative ease.

I had a game where a bubba was face camping and we had one gen left and my team decided to try some shenanigans with a rescue i knew it was a bad idea but the game was boring sitting on gens the whole time so I decided why not. He got a 4k and it was all our fault but you know what it was definitely the best part of that match because for a minute it was actually exciting and we almost got way with it.
I solo q btw
Survivors come up with some of the craziest A Team shenanigans to save their bro. I still vividly remember facing off against some guerilla ops that actually managed to save the person. But the 3 of them died. Lol.

Is no one hearing the part where I said they just slugg you repeatedly while you're on hookk? Is this just an OK thing everyone does and doesnt have issue with?
People think you mean slug as in, leaving you on the ground. But yes, I hit the survivor on hook if they flashed me.
-
Only one killer ever did it. And I assume it was because he was going after one of those stupid archives challenges with Trapper. As survivor, I would be thrilled, assuming I get the free escape. That role has me starved for BP. I am going to need to just use killers to level all my survivors. Lol.
-
The red stain is genuinely one of the most baffling mechanics. They have a lot of weird stuff to hold survivor's hands, but this one takes it too far. They held the hand so hard the body never came with it.
-
You know how it is. You get some toxic survivors, you get some toxic killers. Most survivors know what is up when you are carrying them to the basement, they just DC. This strategy is even better than letting your teammate die.
-
They always dance when they drop a pallet. Really, it is about the only thing they ever seen proud of. In my personal opinion, there is a reason they feel so much pride for pulling down a pallet.
-
You never know, maybe killer mains are just smart enough not to telegraph how much they are cheating.
-
But why? What magically makes this an issue now and not before?
-
@vacaman said:
It's not the hatchet hitbox, it's the survivor hitbox, all of them have the same even if they have different sizes, otherwise running male survivors would be even more of a disavantage. And also have to remember that environment has garbage hitboxes and hatches collide on invisible stuff all the time, specially on reworked/new maps.
Yeah, the big hitbox is just as much a disadvantage as an advantage because of all the geometry with invisible collision.
-
Most chase perks suck, that is the bigger problem. Why would you bother running those when corrupt and ruin exist?
-
People who bring flashlights seem to love getting tunneled, so I will keep giving them what they ask for.
