  • The devs don't care. Fairness and balance doesnt matter as long as the most toxic players get to have fun.
  • Its rare you see 4/5 blink nurses, and yeah any decent player doesn't need them.

DS should only be available to the obsession, and Rancor should work when the hatch is open.

The perk wouldn't be as bad then.

Even if the DS could only work for the obsession, it would still doesn't get any benefit for the killer, not like the Rancor. Rancor at least gives you an obsession a benefit to see a killer every single repaired gen. This is how in my opinion those perks should work. It gives you something okay, but it gives also your enemy something.

They had no idea what they were doing back then. It's ridiculous that they don't even have the broken effect, so you can use an instaheal/use adrenaline

  • It's dead

  • This is the typical entitled player.

"I DEMAND THAT YOU LET ME USE MY FREE ESCAPE CRUTCH PERK!!! WAAAAAAH!!!!"

If he didn't want to get slugged he shouldn't have brougt DS. Glad he got salty.

Just don't use weak killers. Pig is garbage, everytime you try to use stealth the survivors give each other a heads up on the mic.

Isn't it sad that we have so many killers but only a few are actually viable?

Why bother purchasing new killers if they get the Freddy treatment after a week?

Survivors get what they want. Killers get told to play survivor or civ.
    I'm conflicted

On one hand I do feel Nurse is OP and needs to be nerfed. But then on the other hand, this is a killer where survivors rely on the player to make mistakes. That is deemed unfair. Yet at the same time it's ok to have all the bottom tier killers who rely on survivors to make mistakes and that is what the game is balanced around. It seems like a double standard.

I bought all the killers shortly after I got into the game expecting them all to be decent. Knowing what I know now I would have probably skipped the entire bottom half of the roster.
  • So the killer waits at 17m away for the survivor to start the long ooening sequence then walks along and hits them. Also if the survivor gets it open just in time it can still cause a hatch standoff.

If you really want to speed up the hatch part how about this...

    - Hatch does not appear until only 1 survivor remains
    - Only the survivor can see/hear the hatch
    - Survivor can't be pulled out while jumping

    - Rancor effect comes into play, survivor is exposed and can be killed.

So the killer can't camp the hatch. The killer is forced to look for the survivor.

The survior can't see the hatch location early and camp it. Survivor has to stealth around and try to find.

So basically the survivor is stealthing around looking for it while the killer is walking around looking for the survivor. If the survivor finds it first they're guarenteed a free escape. If the killer finds the survivor they're guarenteed a free kill (so Decisive can't cheat them).

It would add some intensity to the endgame, but would make yellow moris redundent (though lets be honest they are anyway).
  • Freddy can be fun to play at times since you're completely invisible and survivors have no idea where you are but that also makes him the least fun killer to be playing against.

Legion just isn't fun to play. Slow speed with a power that drags on chases since its no good at downing survivors without purple add-ons.
  • Yeah this is annoying. Sometimes it doawns 3 survivors together and 1 on the killer sife of the map.

Nothing more fun than hearing the terror radius 5 seconds into the game so you don't even have a chance to hide.
  • The biggest issue, outside of toxicity is totems.

1 person finds it early, you chase them off, they tell their friends on the mic where it is and boom its gone during your first chase.

As if survivors spawning on it wasn't bad enough.
  • The corn needs to be nerfed. Everyonr keeps ssying this yet nothing gets done.

Also new walls gor the jungle gyms to introduce some form of counter play, and some of those pallet loops need to be looked at. Coldwind has a lot of vry safe pallets.
  • Yeah I'm going for all perks on all killer too, however I'm skipping prestige to accomplish this.

So far I've got Clown and Spirit with all perks, almost Hag too. Some killers have a decent choice for them (nurse) and then some killers have an abysmal choice of perks at the moment (Huntress, Myers, trapper, freddy) but all are above lvl 40.
  • Just don't use weak killers. Pig is garbage, everytime you try to use stealth the survivors give each other a heads up on the mic.

I don't think either side should be able to see names. All that does is allow people to target specific people or dodge to get easier matches. I feel like showing survivors the killer's name would just cause survivors to dodge the killers that previously beat them as well.

But to play devil's advocate, what's stopping me from from just changing my name after each match so people don't recognize me? What benefit does it provide other than allowing people to dodge challenging matches and draw up queue times for everyone?
The first option is the best. I've asked for either before but got no responce. Either hiding names altogether or showing killer names.

Ingame harassment happens a lot from salty players and some of us can't be bothered changing our steam names everyday.
  • The purpose was to have a fun event?

I didn't really like it because survivors didn't help rach other, but having 3 cosmetics to unlock was pretty good.
  • LVL_3_100/description: Reach prestige level III-50 with any character.
  • I said this before. They should turn back to yellow at the same time the hatch opens, which is after the entire sacrifice animation has fully played out.

If the hatch can't open earlier because it thinks a sacrifice hasn't fully completee then why do the lanterns turn back early?

I had five lobby dodges in a row this evening. No idea why. I was playing solo. I wasn't carrying a flashlight or firecrackers. Didn't even have a toolbox equipped.

Killers cant kick someone out of their lobby, so they have to ddoge all 4 survivors

Yup. I have to do this so much because 1 person just won't ready up.
  • Survivors need to play better as a team. Most don't though.

The healing time changes really hurt survivors, especially when the killer apllies the mangled effect. You can get around this with Botany  or we'll make it, most don't though because they want their Urban, SC, DS, Sprint burst build so they're safe at all times.

Survivors aren't adapting to killers. Also I would guarentee Noed alone contributes a lot towards the low escape rate, based on hundreds of hours of personal observation.

Lobby dodging is the result of many bad experiences.

You should've thought about such consequences before you bullied those poor Killers.

Nah man its all about the survivors fun.

Pick a weak killer, watch the survivor tbag freely while completely safe behind a pallet, run around the pallets for 5 minutes, dont bother bringing spirit fury or bamboozle because those perks are toxic, then be kind enough to watch the survivor tbag at the exit gate and dont forget to give a "thank you sir" at the end when you're told to die of cancer.

It's all about the survivors fun, remember that.
  • I wouldn't take this serious. Seeing a number of this guys posts I think he's just here to wind people up.
  • Survivors not soing gens, trying to get each other killed, and not unhooking.

    It has been awful.

As killer I noticed a few more people give up on hook when they realized nobody was coming to save them but beyond thst not too much difference.

Fix the causes of lobby dodging first.

What are you talking about? People will dodge over cosmetics, how can they fix that? Try re-reading the post.

That's because there is a pattern among the most toxic players.

Nea with the long 80's hair, or the short dark hair is ok. If she has a flashlight it's just a flashlight who cares.

However a Nea with a flashlight and the pink hair or the beanie hat, there is a high chance they're going to be a Decisive using extremely toxic little twat. Gee I wonder why, I wonder which streamer promoted toxicity and used those Nea cosmetics.

If you read that yourself a couple of times you might eventually get what a load of crap you are stating here....sorry.... this is the kind of bull feces attitude that is exactly ruining the game.

Remove the killers ability to see the survivors inventory. Remove the cancel button unless there is someone with a ping above 200 in the lobby. Problem solved.

No it's toxic players who are ruining the game.

People just want to relax and have fun. They don't want some moron tbagging them and telling them to kill themself if they lose, or to die of cancer if they win.

Morons who do whatever they cab and bring the most OP things just to try and ruin the fun of everyone else.
  • Nope. Or if I did I'd stick with a select few killers only.
  • Solo survivor in green ranks is an unbearable mess. It's just killers who circle the hook and rely on NOED.

I saw this on his stream the other day. Sad to see it happening in red ranks, though normally it's rare. Not sure why they ran for the hook against a weak player (normally means they camp the few hooks they get) when the killer had NOED. Perhaps they did it because it was tru3? and they wanted to perform a rescue for the stream? rather than running away. Just a guess though.

  • I tend to play a few games as each and then switch between them, I do spend more time on survivor though.

I think the weaker killers could use some work. Once you get to the high ranks you tend to use a few select killers mostly, having more feasible killer variety would encourage me to play more killer.

  • We call these types of players "Claudettes".

Bring Bond, if they're doing nothing and the killer chases you then lead the killer to them. It will force them to contribute to the team by keeoing the killer busy for a while.

    Even better, Bond + Diversion.
  • He's strong in a chase, so like Nurse use stealth to avoid a chase.

He throws projectiles, which move kind of slow, so like Huntress try to run in areas where he can't get a clear shot - an example being areas like underneath the piers on the swamp maps. Or on a map like Lerys or The Game try to run around corners as much as possible.

Other than that you're going to have to drop pallets early. As a team try to spread out as Clown has weak map pressure.
  • Her camp game is too strong I know that.

She's the only killer where I havr to force myself to let survivors go. If I get one down in the basement I know how unfun it can be, so I put traps down to scare them off or force them to crouch walk to slow them down but I rarely teleport to them and if I do then I go for the person who did the unhook to give the other a chance to get away.

She can be really unfun to play against if the person camps. Some put 10 traps around a hook and then stay in the area anyway. So you unhook but the person cant run away as they will set off a trap, and if they crouch-walk away they'll get caught since they're moving too slow anyway. A camping hag is one of the most unfun things in the game.
  • Yeah they want the hatch. If the random was working really well and I'm on the hook I will give them the hatch. But if you are sh!t, then I will stay on there until I finally die.
    This is the correct answer.

Reward good teammates, punish lazy claudettes or farmers.

Record it with PS4's video record feature, send it to the support site and get them banned.

    Guam - Clown

    Haiti - Spirit

    Kenya - Legion

    Mali - chapter 11....

I strongly doubt that Mali is anything about the killer themselves and is only their file name.

Yeah but that wouldn't be much of a clue would it because it tells us nothing, unless Paulie was just joking.

Yes, it tells us the game file name. I guess we will see over the next few weeks.

Bur the filename is irrelevant lol

    Which is my point exactly.
What does The Pig have to do with Finland, or The Legion with Kenya!?

I want to know what happened to Iceland and Jamaica.

  • Camping is less frequent when you get to higher levels. But if you DC you're gonna stay at a low rank, doom your teammates and worse - reward the killer. If he/she wants to camp you to death it will cost them 2 minutes. That's enough time for your team to finish most if not all of generators. They could even pull of a clutch save with borrowed time or some flashlights and coordination. But if you DC the killer gets the match down to 3v1 for free, and not having anyone to camp means more time to patrol their generators. The match is heavily in their favor

You gotta get really spiteful and struggle to stay alive just to waste as much of their time as possible. You'll also rank up and encounter more experienced killers who are less likely to spend 2 minutes securing 1 kill.
    This.

Camping goes down as your rank goes up. Purple and red ranks are much better. DBD is a really unenjoyable experience in solo survivor green ranks because the killers mostly just circle the hook waiting for a tunnel.
  • Yup, I've had coldwind so much recently. Far more than any other realm.

Combine that with it being the most popular offering fot survivors to use and you have a real problem.
  • Great on macmillan maps, useless on coldwind maps.

Autohaven seems ok, lerys is great.
  • That's a pretty good tier list. I agree with a lot of it.
  • He throws a spear which causes the DEEP WOUND STATUS EFFECT.
  • Garbage perk that ruins the game because some idiots throw the game to get their ######### stacks.

Why isn't it safe unhooks only? I always assumed it was because that would make sense but apparantly not...

When it comes to playing against him it's the generous hitbox on the chainsaw that bugs me. Seems like if you're anywhere within a half-mile radius it counts as a hit.

I'd love that half-mile hitbox. Whenever I play him, it feels like my hitbox is half of an inch. Whenever it looks like I should get a hit, I don't and Billy just keeps zooming.

    It's the DBD effect.

Like when you play survivor you get potato teammates but when you play killer you go against elite pro-league squads.
  • The coldwind maps need a complete overhaul.
  • Not saying it's not possible but in general you kind of need to upgrade killer as you go through the ranks.

You're starting to struggle now and Pig just isn't going to cut it anymore. Time to move on to Nurse/Billy/Spirit/Hag etc

Sucks but that's how the game is. You'll need 10 times as much sweat to win with Pig than you would with Billy or Spirit.
  • I don't find him fun to play as. He's kind of boring IMO.

  • @Master @AlwaysInAGoodShape The video is of a baby Nurse that can't catch anyone that DC's mid chase after only 2 gens are done on Game, which is a super strong map for Nurse. He got hit by a walking Nurse it looks like more to bait her to chase instead of him being bad or anything. IDK I could be wrong about that, but the post is definitely a troll.

Maybe watch the video next time...

I've started learning Nurse myself and The Game might be known as a strong map for her but so far I've found it the hardest. You have to look up at the sky in order to not be dragged downstairs when blinking, and I started to notice how any kind of blinking around the stairs seemed to force me either down or up.

I was doing good on other maps but I struggled with the last 2 survivors on that map as it kept pulling me through floors for seemingly no reason.
