This was a bug that was fixed in the RE chapter.
-
This is intended. Alert is only supposed to activate when a killer performs a default breaking action, it isn't intended to work with killer or perk-specific breaks.
-
I mean, Charlotte killed a lot of people in her lore as revenge for how the world treated her and Victor...
-
There are no poll options here.
-
This really won't help these killers too much. Spine Chill has a range of 36 meters, so unless you want to massively slow yourself down by stalking and walking 36 meters the survivor will still detect you.
-
The chapter itself is nice, but there are so many bugs that came with this release...
-
Generators are not repaired too fast. The problem lies in chases and map traversal taking too long for many killers.
-
I had high expectations for the Anniversary and Halloween events considering BHVR cut back on the rest of the events, but this rehash of an Anniversary event is making me wonder where the extra time from the other events went towards. Whatever the case is, I'm not expecting the Halloween event to be any better than last year.
-
If a survivor is working on a generator trapped by Eruption when the perk activates, that survivor is inflicted with the Incapacitated status effect for a time. That might be why you couldn't repair the generator.
-
I love this broken mess of a game.
-
BHVR has already updated some licensed maps, so I'd be willing to bet they'll update the models as well. If the license holders are still willing, anyways.
-
When you get within 4 meters of a dull totem the Hex is revealed to you, not when you start cleansing it.
-
I main Blight, and it would be nice if collision was fixed.
-
I used to look up at first, but other content creators convinced me to start looking down. I still try to look up when it comes to firecrackers/flash grenades, though.
-
I've been getting a lot of really challenging trials during this test, so I'd say it's been working out well so far.
-
I really don't like it. Most of these survivor visual reworks have been hit-or-miss for me, and this one misses. David looks so much less rugged in his visual rework. He just looks...ugly to me.
-
I've gotten Prestige 3 level 50 on all killers. As for survivors, I've got Prestige 3 level 50 on Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Jake, Nea, Bill, David, Laurie, and Felix.
-
I don't think it's fundamentally broken, but there is some jank associated with the power that I'd like to see changed.

I don’t know if it’s me but every single time I’ve ever been in a game with Freddy In my past 3-4 years playing the game his lunge has always been broken...
this poll was made because I want to see if anyone feel like Freddy deserves a nerf... even through this rework this has been occurring
There aren't any poll options, could you add some?

"Fixed an issue where the Trickster's melody does not seem to play at the appropriate distance from the killer"
-
I don't feel like The Legion and The Blight's powers really fit them and their backstories, but at the same time their powers are pretty fun and it would be a shame to see them go, even if it made way for a more lore-appropriate power.

Hey did you guys know the trickster has a lullaby? You know that huming thing the huntress does? In his case it sounds like his terror radius but it can't be altered by any "undetectable" perks (such as insidious) or any perks that alter a killer's terror radius (such as monitor and abuse).
It's a feature that balances killers that lose their terror radius with their abilities (the kids singing when the nightmare is near) or that are a threat even at a distance (the huntress, duuuh).
That being said, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY PUT A LULLABY ON THE TRICKSTER IF HE CAN'T DO ANY OF THESE THINGS, ARE THEY PURSPOSEFULLY TRYING TO MAKE THIS KILLER BAD.
I mean yeah, the trickster can harm you at a distance, IF HE LANDS ABOUT 8 KNIVES AND YOU STAND COMPLETELY STILL WHILE HE DOES IT INSTEAD OF TAKING COVER OR DODGING.
Also nowhere in the game it says he has a lullaby, a salty survivor told me on chat yesterday "you look dumb af running monitor, i could hear you on the other side of the map", that's the only reason i went to look it up. Apparently not even some streamers know of this because they never mention it on tier lists and they run monitor themselves. And yes, it makes monitor and abuse pretty useless, considering it goes up to 32 meters and it sounds exactly like your terror radius.
So not only i have to worry about being slow, but now i can't even surprise survivors. They better buff him so that the knives remove a health state each if they plan on maintaining the lullaby, jeez.

This is a bug that was fixed in the 5.0.0 PTB. When chapter 20 releases, I'm sure the bug will be patched.

I’ve read his tone so I know he was about as evil as they come before he was taken by the entity. But looking at it like that he seems like he’d be one of the killers who is willing to kill and doesn’t need to be tortured/forced like the trapper or mind controlled like the wraith. So I’m curious. I don’t remember any signs of him being a masochist in his lore so why does he have his eyes/mouth pried open and electrical wiring shoved in his veins
It could be that The Doctor didn't want to serve another being forever, but it could also be that The Doctor wanted to put it on himself? The description of The Doctor's "Dr. Vivisection" body cosmetic says "An abundance of bloody malpractices are stabbed, twisted, and cut into his body. He wanted to feel what his last patient did before he opened them up." This could just be harmless flavor text, but it could also mean that The Doctor likes to perform tests on himself?
-
In the lore, killers can do whatever they want in the trials as long as The Entity is fed sacrifices. That usually means that killers will try to sacrifice all survivors, but some may "play with their food" before going in for the kill.
-
The only cosmetics survivors and killers canonically wear in The Entity's realm are their default skins, Halloween skins, and possibly prestige skins. All other cosmetics were worn in that character's past, but are not canonically worn by them in The Entity's realm. Chances are legendary skins are just memories of other people the characters have seen, and do not canonically exist in the realm either.
-
Hoarder doesn't show a survivor's aura, it only gives a loud noise notification when a chest is unlocked or an item is pick up.
-
I've played against Sluzzy once or twice. They played well and the trial was a close one, if I remember correctly.

So as a Trickster main, I always used to be confused why survivors were running away from gens when I was so far away from them, with no Spine Chill in play and I use Monitor and Abuse. Then, someone posted on one of my recent discussions that the Trickster in fact has a 32 METER LULLLABY!!! This essentially means that perks like M&A are basically useless on him, as he is only 8 meters away from having the same lullaby radius as HUNTRESS! However, Trickster doesn't even come close to Huntress' downing potential at range, and 100% does not need the Lullaby. It takes him 8 Knives to get a health state, and Huntress only 1, he doesn't need such a large radius where the survivors can hear him approaching, because his Lethality at range is essentially NON - EXISTENT! Please developers if you see this, consider removing this lullaby that he has, as it gives the survivor WAY too much early warning to where Trickster is. It also makes no sense to me now that Deathslinger can have a 16m TR with M&A with no lullaby, and just snipe a survivor off a gen.
Hopefully you see this post and make changes to this feature, as it can be hard enough already to down a survivor at certain loops, and given this extra warning they can easily just make it to the safe side of a loop before you even get there.
Thanks, I hope you understand why this shouldn't be in the game.
This is a bug that was fixed in the 5.0.0 PTB. It'll be fixed when Chapter 20 goes live.

The killer can get up the stoneridge the same way the survivors did.

Now, I don't wanna hear any of that 'slugging is a legit tactic and sometimes necessary' stuff. This is about people who go and slug right from the start, leaving people to bleed out. maybe with the exception of the obsession for the extra points. and of course they'll go and knock down anyone with UB immediately.
Cause by all means that is holding the game hostage, which is banable iirc.
This does not count as holding the game hostage. Downed survivors will bleed out after 4 minutes, preventing the trial from lasting forever.

That is some freaky luck.
Doesn't bbq update while active ? So if i am walking towards them then wouldn't the one being healed instantly vanish too?
It is freaky luck, but I've seen it happen a few times in my trials. BBQ does update while it is active, but the aura-reading range comes from the hook you used rather than your current position.
-
If you saw a survivor on Barbecue and Chilli being healed by a survivor whose aura you couldn't see, the healing survivor could have aura-blocking perks or be just barely outside of Barbecue & Chilli range while the survivor being healed was just barely in Barbecue & Chilli range. Here's a quick visualization:
-
- A killer would slug for the 4k because...they want the 4k and the situation allowed it. If the killer was able to slug for the 4k less than 3 minutes into a trial, chances are you or your team made a massive mistake that let him get away with the slug.
- As a survivor, try to split up from your team, stay healed, and do well in chases. That, or bring Unbreakable.
-
I've never experienced this bug before, and I use Any Means Necessary a fair bit. Do you have your camera movement bound to your active ability button?
-
Claws are cool and all, but being able to sucker-punch survivors is hilarious.
-
I'm pretty bad with Nurse, but I don't play her much so go figure.

No I’m not, I recorded a video too.
Can you post a link to the video?

- In Yamaoka, in the middle building with long stairs, there are some small statues with faces, if you look away, move and look back at them, they will ALWAYS look back at you. Creepy right?
- In Hawkins, there's a secret room with dead scientists that can only be entered blinking as nurse.
- As Plague, you can also infect totems (hex totems too) and items dropped by survivors.
- PH can hurt survivors with his power when chasing them going down any stairs, but not while chasing them going up the stairs.
- There's a small scare jump in Silent Hill's map that will only trigger once when a survivor walks next to grey lockers.
- As Legion, if a surv blinds you while you're jumping a pallet, you will get out of your rush power and will be able to down the survivor post jumping the pallet without triggering the stun of the blind nor the stun of getting off your rush power.
- YOU CAN KNOW when Myers can kill you in T3 (Addon "Judith's Tombstone"). If he doesn't have the addon, his hand, the one not holding the knife, will be closed, but if he DOES have the addon he'll run with his hand (the one not holding the knife) opened.
- Memento Mori means "You can't escape death"
- Hag's traps can be destroyed by a flashlight and most people know this but do NOT use that knowledge.
- In the Deathslingger's map you can parkour to the ceiling of the building next to the hangman's wooden structure.
- In Michael Myer's map, there are some paintings on a house's wall that have the art concept of all of DBD's maps.
- The perk Calm Spirit DOES NOT work with every animal in DBD as it should, rats, in The Pig's map still run away and squeak when you run by them as survivor.
I'm pretty sure you can't parkour to the killer shack in Dead Dawg Saloon from the gallows anymore, BHVR patched it.
-
Mine was The Ghost Face. I absolutly loved his appearance, backstory, and gameplay.
-
He is fun, but he also feels a bit weak imo. His tentacle strike range is concerningly short, zombies are too RNG-dependent, and you barely get any mutation rate progress from destroying zombies.
-
I don't think The Wraith should have to take Lightborn to be immune to being broken out of cloak, flashlights just shouldn't be able to do that by default.
-
If they significantly cut down the size of the map I think it would be pretty good.
-
I'm pretty sure most outfits and character-specific charms are just memories from their experiences before they came into The Entity's realm. No killers or survivors canonically wear these cosmetics while in the realm save for the killer (and possibly survivor) Blight cosmetics.
-
None of them need a rework imo, but most of them could use some buffs.
-
The Trapper really needs some help, he's quite weak in his current state.
-
The game used to be scary when I started to play it, but not anymore. Of course, that is to be expected. As you experience a horror-related thing again and again, you become more accustomed to it and the feeling of terror diminishes.
-
I hate the lack of counterplay related to The Spirit, but I have played her when I needed a daily or one of her Archive challenges completed.
-
You were too far away from the injured survivor to be awarded a protection score event, This is not a bug.
-
Are you a survivor or killer main? Or do you play both equally?:
I'm a killer main, although I do enjoy playing survivor from time to time.
Are you a good sport?:
I'd consider myself a good sport. I don't DC unless I have something urgent to attend to, I don't BM, and I don't trash-talk.
Do you feel the need to max out all of your characters with all perks and prestige them?:
I'm a bit of a completionist, and I've spent far too many bloodpoints prestiging my characters.
Do you get tilted when playing this game?:
Of course I get tilted sometimes, but I try my best to not let it interfere with my gameplay.
Do you buy cosmetics?:
I've bought cosmetics on my favorite characters and I've gotten each rift pass.
-
It seems like a normal hit to me. The killer hit you as you vacuumed to the pallet before he got stunned.
