There are two kinds of people. Those who wear cosmetics because they like how look or want to show off, and those that wear cosmetics because it provides camouflage and gives them a higher chance of staying undetected. Which kind of person are you?37 comments 641 views last activity

Although the event has only been out for about a day, I would like to know how everyone feels about the Midnight Grove event. What do you like about it? What do you not like? Do you think the pumpkins are a fun gameplay addition? Do you like the new skins and charms? How does this event compare to other Halloween events, both from Dead by Daylight and other games? Personally, I like the event bu66 comments 1,251 views last activity

If I recall correctly the developers have stated that they are moving away from Blight-themed Halloween events. The recent leaks suggest the only Blight-related parts of this Halloween event will be skins. Did you like the Blight-themed events more, or are you happy that the developers are moving away from them?12 comments 161 views last activity

According to recent leaks, there will not be a Blight-focused event for Halloween this year. Instead, there will be a pumpkin-focused event. In the Hallowed Blight lore, the Blights are a yearly purge The Entity undergoes. With the introduction of a different event this year, does this mean The Entity no longer needs to purge itself each year? I'm not sure why The Entity had to undergo a purge, b5 comments 251 views last activity

In the reworked Badham Preschool and Gas Heaven, you can find newspapers on the ground that have some strange and humorous headlines: This headline reads: "Miniature horses in Dodge County make for more than just educational story", accompanied by a picture of the DBD logo.1 comments 102 views last activity

In the Advent Calendar 2020 news post BHVR that they will be "contributing more effort towards our Anniversary & Halloween related events" to make them "truly feel special". They also said that to put more effort into those events, they would be putting less effort into the other events. We saw no Winter event and a smaller Lunar New Year event after the post. So surely the effort they used t16 comments 231 views last activity

This is likely because of his recent buff where he became3 comments 461 views last activity

We know from the Eternal Blight add-ons and The Blight's power that using pustula serum increases your speed for a short period of time, which is exactly what The Clown's Afterpiece Antidote does. On top of that, the Afterpiece Antidote is colored yellow, just like pustula serum. The Clown could have developed the Afterpiece Antidote within the fog using highly refined pustula serum.2 comments 83 views last activity

https://youtu.be/-JKeFqFMBSY I'm guessing this is a bug, but a Huntress I was going against today had their Hex: Devour Hope revealed when she downed a survivor with a hatchet. This could mean that The Huntress' hatchets now count as a basic attack, but I haven't tested it. If you are playing The Huntress with Hex: Devour Hope, keep this in mind.1 comments 251 views last activity

Everybody is talking about how powerful The Twins are at camping, and I won't deny they are a cut above other killers. However, their camping potential can be easily countered by doing simple things. If The Twins are leaving Victor at a hook, just crouch-walk as soon as you hear his screeches. Victor cannot detect survivors that are still or crouch-walking, so just crouch up to Victor, kick him,26 comments 4,384 views last activity

I find myself downing survivors near the basement a lot and I usually hook them there, provided I have enough time. But I'm not sure if I should be staying near the basement to intercept any would-be unhookers or just leave to find a survivor working on a generator. What would be the most effective thing to do after hooking a survivor in the basement, or should you never even bother with the base19 comments 261 views last activity

We've had killers with tracking put into their base kit like The Doctor, but there hasn't been a killer whose power is entirely based around tracking survivors. The best idea I can think of is a killer that can throw cameras around the map that show the auras of survivors in their line of sight or ones you could look through manually. Do you think a killer like this would be powerful? What do yo5 comments 71 views last activity

Some players use a timer application to track the duration of Decisive Strike left on survivors, or a crosshair to help get shots as a Huntress or Deathslinger. What are your views on the use of these? Do you think players should be allowed to use them?8 comments 61 views last activity

From tome 1's The Hunger cinematic, we see Talbot Grimes inject himself in the middle of the woods, presumably turning into The Blight. But in the chapter 17 teaser trailer we see Talbot inject himself in front of Father Campbell's chapel, presumably turning into The Blight there. But then in the official chapter 17 trailer we see Talbot inject himself inside of the chapel, turning into The Bligh2 comments 161 views last activity

In The Hallowed Blight tome entries Talbot says that the abandoned workshop (presumably belonging to Vigo) is filled with "protective clothes". Many survivors have ransacked Vigo's workshop, and found clothing that looks Victorian. We know from Arcus 632 that Vigo is able to create things like the Observer. So it would appear as if Vigo is from the 19th century, and created protective Victorian-s2 comments 72 views last activity

Update: The 4.3.1 bugfix patch has sadly removed the Blighted Rush tech. As far as I know the rest of the information in this post is accurate. Blight Serum is a Killer addon temporarily available to purchase and use during the Eternal Blight event. It costs 3,000 Bloodpoints in the Bloodweb. Using a Black Ward while Blight Serum is equipped will not consume the Black Ward, and consume your a0 comments 3,221 views last activity

I just finished the collection entry Doors Unknown, and I am...really confused. What happened to Talbot Grimes once he came into the realm of the Entity? Can he still think? Was his original Blight form ever real, or did he immediately become the True Blight? If anybody has any theories, I'd be glad to hear them.13 comments 1,311 views last activity

I've got my doubts about the effectiveness of the Hex: Ruin + Hex: Undying meta emerging. In order to get any value out of Hex: Ruin, you need to constantly be interrupting survivors on generators and making sure they don't get right back on them. This means that the only killer that can even get decent use out of this are high-mobility killers, average-speed killers with really good down potenti14 comments 981 views last activity

There's been a lot of talk around The Deathslinger ever since The Executioner changes were announced, but I can't seem to find anybody suggesting fixes. I've played Dead by Daylight on and off for a while, and I've always cycled through different killers as time went on. I want to find one killer to main, but there are so many killers I really enjoy playing. The killers I enjoy playing are the Shape, Doctor, Legion, Ghost Face, Deathslinger, Executioner, and Blight. Does anybody have tips on how to choose between all of these killers?27 comments 221 views last activity

There is a serious issue with The Blight that makes his power very difficult to use in a few scenarios, and in one map in particular. Whenever The Blight wants to start a rush, either from a neutral state or from a slam, there has to be a small amount of distance in front of him. So if you are right up against a wall, you cannot rush. But this has the unfortunate consequence of making The Blight4 comments 61 views last activity

According to the Dead by Daylight Wiki, both the Hillbilly and the Blight have the same alternate speed of 230%. The Death and Doom engravings can increase the Hillbilly's speed to 265%. The Blight has two addons that increase his rush speed for each token consumed. With both Compound Twenty-One and Compound Thirty-Three, the Blight can reach a speed of 270% when all rush tokens are consumed.1 comments 233 views last activity
