I liked the PTB chase music more, but apparently the current chase music fits Silent Hill 2 more so I'd rather have it.
-
I think the Coldwind maps may actually take place during a Harvest Moon, which would give the appearance of daytime while technically being nighttime.
-
As much as I liked the PTB theme, it was a bit too lighthearted for DBD. The LIVE version is more fitting with the mood of the game.
-
The Trapper looks really goofy without his mask. The mask is what makes him look somewhat menacing, and without it the horror aspect of him is largely mitigated.
-
- My first main was The Ghost Face.
- I decided to main them because they looked cool, I loved the backstory, and I liked the fantasy of being a stealthy killer that could stalk survivors.
- The Ghost Face didn't receive any changes when I mained them.
- After a few chapters, I stopped maining him. I guess it was because I found other killers to be more fun for me (I think I started to main The Deathslinger when he came out.)
- He never got any changes, but I stopped maining him after a while.
- I mained The Deathslinger for a bit, tried to main The Executioner when he came out, and started maining The Blight since he released.
- I'm not sure. I guess if my main's playstyle changed significantly in a way I don't like I might move onto another killer.

Level 4 and 3 rewards charms from current challenges are equal, no difference on glow or shape!
It kills the fun getting 2 equal rewards!
The level 4 charm has a stronger light and mist coming out of the top, as well as some rocks orbiting it. The tentacles also face inwards on the level 4 charm.

I'm pretty sure in the first film you heard that roar when Adam or Lawrence got ambushed.

What killer did you play?
The majority of the time I played The Blight and The Deathslinger, but I played some trials with the rest of the killers as well.
-
On average, I go against a Hillbilly once every 30 games.
-
I really like the first proposed change and the Jewelry add-on changes are nice as well. However, the glass fragment changes seem overpowered. I also don't like the tombstone add-on changes, mostly because the add-ons are already overpowered and they should be reworked in some other way. Perhaps you can only kill a survivor when they are on death hook, or maybe they should do something different entirely.

is this the wrong forum? should this be put in bugs?
I think you should also post this in bugs.

In my opinion, I think WGLF is a really good perk & shouldn't be changed much given the fact that it isn't as hard as you think to get tokens.
You mainly need to prioritize saving people off of hook unless you're running a super-altruistic build (MoM/Breakout + Flashlight/Sabo-toolbox) in which you just need to take a protection hit or 2. Unless you deliberately ignore somebody for a gen, it should come as general gameplay to atleast have 2 tokens by the time the game ends, assuming the killer wasn't bad & hooked everybody a decent amount of times.
If I had to change something, I personally would make it to where you could have 6 tokens. 4 seems way too low imo for how fast you can earn them & eventually just feels like a waste of a perk slot unless the killer is slugging (fast heal speeds).
Well, there's the problem. You need to play differently than normal to get your tokens. Imagine this situation: You are on one side of the map repairing a generator and your teammates and the killer are on the other side of the map. A survivor gets downed and hooked, and now if you want to get your stacks you'll have to make the objectively bad decision of running to the other side of the map, leaving your generator unfinished. Any of your teammates could've easily gotten the unhook on the other side of the map while you finish your generator, but WGLF makes you play stupidly if you want to get stacks.

I am having trouble finding them I spent a whole game doing nothing other than searching for a glyph covered the whole map several times with no luck is there any technical problems with them spawning??
I've heard of a technical problems with spawns, but they can spawn practically anywhere from my experience. You have to be fairly close to the Glyph for it to become visible to you, too.

When playing killer I was unable to interact with the red glyph. It would kick me out of the action each time. Was it a one time glitch or is there something I’m not doing correctly?
Did you hold down the interaction button? The interaction will cancel if you don't hold down the button.

@QwQw said:
Stupid question I'm sure, but if you're the one to put the challenge on, can other people interact with the glyphs? Or can only the person who put the challenge on use them?
I don't think your Red Glyph is visible to anybody else but you.
-
It'd be nice if there was a "sometimes" option...
-
When trying my best, I'll jump on a generator that I'd want finished to prevent a 3-gen situation (basically just generators around the middle of the map). If there is a generator right next to where I spawned but it isn't a good generator to complete, I'll tap it to see if the killer has Hex: Ruin, then repair generators elsewhere.

Lore? Lore! LORE!!
Yeah, the moment the lore started to not matter anymore is when they made a survivor perk that calls for the Entity's help.
Calm Spirit was a perk long before Repressed Alliance. The crows are The Entity's servants, and Calm Spirit makes them not give away a survivor's location. As Dpooly said, The Entity feeds off of emotions. It doesn't care if the emotions come from survivors or killers.
-
If the realms are composed of the memories of a killer, then it would stand that not everything would be accurate in a realm. The developers also said they always wanted the realms to feel off in some way, as if The Entity is trying to recreate a location perfectly but can't do so. Or maybe the developers just screwed up, I don't know.
-
I main killer. The killers I play are usually The Deathslinger, The Blight, and sometimes The Twins.

Well they do make noise, you can very clearly hear totem cleansing and breaking sounds to 12-18 meters
I think they mean the loud noise notification that occurs when you break a hex totem. They thought it applied to breaking dull totems as well.
-
That is something that always confused me. If he needed to constantly inject himself to maintain his form, then why would he only do it after a Rush? He also doesn't use the serum to activate a Rush, as he only injects himself with it AFTER finishing a Rush, not before.
-
Evan probably wasn't in the best mental state at the time, and for all we know The Entity might've influenced him to kill his father. I think there was another discussion about this that had a good answer, but I can't remember what it was. As for the second question, I doubt it.
-
I'm pretty sure if survivors try to leave the campfire they'll just end up back at it, so you can't escape there. Talbot Grimes tried to escape the trials, but ended up becoming The Blight instead. I think Vigo is trying to escape, and might've done so successfully. The Observer is trying to escape and destroy The Entity, but hasn't made much progress yet.
-
But you can "blind" The Hag's phantasm traps. The consistency is there: certain killer powers CAN be affected by flashlights.
-
In the reworked Blood Lodge map you can find a calendar dating to what looks to be January 1920, which is...strange to say the least. Perhaps the map designers had an oversight, or I misread the date. Or perhaps the calendar doesn't relate to The Wraith's timeline.
-
He's a fun and effective killer to play. The only problems are that he can be pretty buggy sometimes, his FOV is too low, and he has a lot of add-ons that are debatably garbage (slam duration add-ons, Adrenaline Vial, Placebo Tablet).
-
He stole the clothing he wears in his Grand Planner cosmetic, along with the small toolbelt.
-
I was really excited for this chapter and bought the DLC as soon as it came out. But after seeing how many bugs came in this patch, I can't say I'm very proud of my purchase...
-
I like this a lot! I can't wait to see it in a video format.
-
My personal goal was always to get Prestige 3, Level 50, all perks on every survivor and killer. I've currently done that on all but one of my killers, and after that I'll be leveling up my survivors.
-
I think the daily rituals are a way to get you out of your comfort zone and try out things you normally wouldn't do, and it rewards you with bloodpoints for doing so. It's fine the way it is, it encourages killer diversity and can spice up the game.
-
I guess the reason Adam and The Clown didn't have entries in Tome 5 was because of the two entries for The Blight. But I'm fairly confident they'll get a tome entry someday.
-
For Killer:
My playstyle consists of basically chasing the first person I see, downing them, hooking them, and repeating the process. I just enjoy the chasing game. I always run Hex: Ruin and Hex: Undying for game slowdown and Barbeque and Chili for bloodpoints. The last perk I choose depends on the killer I am playing. My playstyle tends to get me plenty of bloodpoints and pips if I play well. I find myself getting a lot of double pips, even in red ranks.
For Survivor:
I try to focus on being efficient and stealthy if possible. I'll be on a generator rather than a dull totem or chest, and if the killer approaches my location I'll make an attempt to hide. As for my perks and items, I main killer so I don't have much on my survivors. I just take the strongest perks I have on whatever survivor I'm playing (apart from using Decisive Strike and Unbreakable at the same time). My playstyle nets me a good pile of bloodpoints and a decent chance at getting a pip or two.
-
It isn't a good perk, but it isn't a bad perk. It's just...meh.

So? This is a game. It's meant for you to have fun. If I could listen to Wraith bing-bonging the theme I'd have a lot of fun.
Not everything has to match a brutal ruthless killer, it's a game. Games are meant for you to have fun. Even if doesn't do anything as long as it doesn't hinder the killer I think it would be a lovely addition.
But to ruin the atmosphere of the game just for another thing that could be used for BM?
-
I'm a bit of a completionist and I've liked the content contained in the Rifts so far. Not much else to say.
-
I'm a killer main and haven't had the bloodpoints to level up my survivors that much, so I just use the best perks I have on hand (usually mediocre level 1 perks).
-
There wouldn't be any point gameplay-wise. It also wouldn't be very immersive for the bloodthirsty killer chasing you to suddenly start jamming to the DBD menu theme.
-
I feel like I've heard this before. Something about the fire particles showing up even when you were cloaked. I haven't seen a Wraith wearing this skin yet, and all of the times I played Wraith with this skin equipped nobody told me I was glitched. Perhaps it is a very situational bug that happened to you, or perhaps the player is trolling you.
-
Does it really matter if he gets a power gauge or not? If he does get a power gauge it'll probably just be an easier way to tell how many bottles you have available, like The Blight's rush tokens.
-
The survivors go back to the campfire and stay there until their next trial. I think the killers have their own version of the campfire, one for each of them. As for what they do... I guess they just wait around for the next trial?
-
On the reworked map Ironworks of Misery you can find this calendar on the top floor of the main building:
There are a few loose ends, but perhaps Evan was taken by the Entity in January of 1972? I think Benedict Baker's journals were written in the 1950's, but if Evan was taken in 1972 then another mass murder could have taken place.
-
Also when Victor died, wouldn't his body stop growing? At that point, they would be physically and mentally a child still.
-
Level 43, it is such a pain to level up without the help of archive challenges (I completed all ones available.)
-
Great to see these will be coming back! I hope you do one on The Blight's tome.
-
People complained when they had to harvest flowers in the Hallowed Blight, people complained there was nothing new to do in the Withering Blight. Now people are complaining that the only new thing to do is harvest flowers. No matter what BHVR does, some people will never be satisfied.
-
Think back on every other event in DBD. I don't recall massive changes to gameplay or anything.
-
This was a pretty nice event in my opinion, besides the lack of earnable currency. We had special hooks and generators, new skins, new addons, Halloween items and offerings came back, a new rift, a new side objective for the archives...
It seems like the only reason people are mad about this event is because of the lack of putrid serum. I can understand that, it does suck. But still, to call the ENTIRE event horrible because of that? Seems a bit overkill.
