After watching the entire game I'm pretty certain that was a hacker.
1. I'm pretty sure I heard all five totems pop, yet Ruin was active the whole game.
2. There is no way BHVR would make Victor be able to cling onto a survivor that long, even with add-ons.
3. The add-on the killer used was "Baby Teeth" which causes Blindness when Victor is on you, which you did not get and actually became Oblivious instead.
I don't think I saw the killer get close to you while you were on a gen, so I can't say for sure if they didn't have Unnerving Pressance and because Ruin was up the entire time Oppression wouldn't be able to be used and not sure about Hoarder either.
You did well if it was a hacker. Didn't seem to lose your cool, kept playing, and made it out alive. Good job.
Another thing to note, i believe there were multiple ruins proc'ing at the same time. Everytime elodie left a gen, the electric fizzle noise played multiple times and was way too loud. Its pretty certain that was a hacker.
-
i think it would be pretty awesome if we never let league of legends fans ever play this game.
-
All seeing for wraith. Makes him virtually uncounterable since he knows exactly where you are and what you're doing in a loop at the click of a button. The range is also pretty generous so he can end up finding survivors playing perfectly stealthily just because the aura flips them off and reveals their exact location. If you combine it with silent bell he becomes frankly worse than spirit, nearly completely invisible at all times, gives no indication he is leaving stealth, and has aura wallhax. its broken as hell.
-
Because there isn't a better game. This game makes me miserable pretty frequently but its the only one of its kind, so im kinda forced to play it if i want to enjoy my favorite genre.

Demo is in a perfect spot right now. No changes needed
Agreed, Hes the perfect mid tier killer. Good mobility. Good chase. Good addons. Hes just "Good." nothing about him is particularly lackluster or OP. I think he's great as he is
-
I have an entire folder dedicated to survivor salt lol. Currently sitting at 50+ images of pure salt, its the fuel that keeps me running. I don't think its weird at all, DBD players do some of the most arrogant mental gymnastics i've ever seen.
(If anyone wants to see it, i'll post some of the best.)
-
Probably a hacker. Instaheals take, even with maximum heal speed, at least 2-3 seconds. Without any additional healing speed it takes 12 seconds.
-
Plague undeniably. The last time i saw a plague was at least 3 weeks ago. She is very mighty in good hands, but almost nobody plays her. I think its because shes pretty gross.
-
Ask him to make a tier list after he gets 100-200 or so hours. It'll be a cool little experiment to see how DBD players mindsets change as they continue playing.

Small Game has been ruined. DS has been destroyed. OOO has been destroyed. So don't feel bad, it's not just killers.
Yeah, were all getting pretty terrible perks. I Think we should stop talking about "bad killer perks" and "bad survivor perks" and more just focus on the fact BHVR is making bad perks in general. Seriously, when was the last time we even got a half decent set of perks?
-
Because seeing somebody rage in chat is not only kinda childish, its massively uncomfortable. nobody likes seeing a stranger flip out in chat over literal pixels.

Survivors the second they hear the Vacuum sound/Nurse scream

hes not "leaving" but past November 17nth they likely will never change or rework him ever again, since they have 0 financial incentive to do so. Hence why people are requesting he recieve at least some minor QOL like this before hes retired from the store.
-
The game needs less RNG, not more. Imagine you got that perfect down and a 1% random chance just decided "Well guess what, screw you! You drop the survivor!" it would NOT be fun.
Ever been killed by a crocket in tf2? It would be on the same level.
-
No. It is not taking the game hostage, at any point if the end game is triggered it is no longer holding the game hostage, as the survivors will die eventually. Of course they won't like it, but its not necessarily "toxic."
So no. If EGC is active the rules dictate you are never holding the game hostage.
-
Splitting up the playerbase is a terrible idea. We already have very bad blood between killer and survivor mains, we don't need even worse blood between comp mains and casual mains. You'll just have to accept that some games will be sweaty. People take this game pretty seriously

The issue here is stuck zombies doing nothing to harass survivors, not tiering up. That can be done on unstuck zombies too. And usually the stuck ones are far off in some corner.
This guy gets it. By the time i actually notice and bother to get a zombie unstuck, im usually at least tier 2. Getting a single infection token is absolutely not worth the time it takes to waltz over and fix them, i'd much rather the zombies despawn after 10 seconds of being stuck.
-
Nemesis when hes on fire. Terror factor would be up by like 1000%
-
i don't think 75% is too much, footsteps are already a somewhat minor part of the audio a killer utilizes to effectively track you. In the name of making the perk an actually usable sidegrade to certain perks like iron will 75% seems very fair.
-
No. Welcome to soloq dude, sometimes i question as well if my teammates are actual humans or chimp brained AI's.
-
Absoloutely. No other killer gets such dopamine injecting moments like phead. If you've ever gotten a multihit as him, or perfectly predicted a shot through the wall, you'll know what i mean. He absoloutely wrecks when you get really good at him, arguably i'd say besides nurse or blight he has the highest skill payoff in the game.
-
Grind.
-
Yes. I've seen plenty of "Console deadhards" as they are called occur to this day. Plenty of survivors who dead hard and move like half an inch before coming to a stop
-
look at the guy. Hes practically foaming from the mouth, how could you mock a poor sickly scotsman? You aren't sick of him, he's sick himself.
-
If you only activate your chainsaw at 3 charges, you'll always catch the survivor before it runs out, even with speed limiter. You're just too fast for them to outrun, even with the speedboost on injury. Speed limiter isn't as terrible as people say, since bubba can make up for it compared to billy who just suffers using it.
-
Demo, Nemmy, Phead, Blight, And ghostie. I probably like more killers than most, but they're really fun to fight. Demo is probably my favorite though, he's just really fun to fight and has an excellent presence and aesthetic. I never feel unfairly beaten if i die to one.
-
Its hard to say. BHVR are generally pretty hush hush with how they balance the game. We can assume they'll likely change the method in which keys are obtained/used and how the hatch spawns. My best guess is they'll make it so hatch only spawns in the endgame, and make it so keys only allow the holder to escape. Just a rough guess though
-
Yes.
No.
Yes.
No.
-
He needs buffs badly. I Wish there was an option that said "Underwhelming but fun" because i really do like him, his aesthetics are great and so is his music and animations. But his power just sucks so much... clown does everything he does better, faster, and with more pizazz too.
-
I've been accused pretty often of a lot of random things related to ping/lag. tons of "lag switching" accusations and such. Funny thing is i probably have the best internet I've had my entire life, really fast with great connection all around. So i always find it funny when laggy asf survivors whine about their own garbage internet making the match worse for them. I also once got accused of stream sniping by bumping into a locker as blight, which spooked the streamer out of it and i downed him.

Honestly that sounds more like a reward than a punishment. I would love to get mori’d by her.
😳you came
-
Yeah, no. I Am really not interested in giving sweat asf nurses any further methods of perfecting or playing their killer any easier. Plaid flannel basekit would massively decrease the amount of skill it takes to play nurse, since you could quite literally refuse all blink muscle memory in exchange for being aware of exactly where you'll land. No thanks. Plus the flannel is already super janky, and often doesn't properly communicate where the hell you'll even land. A buggy buff is not something i wanna see for DBD's S++ tier killer.

She can be annoying at times, im never particularly bothered since this game has beaten all of the decent emotions out of my body, but i certainly do get a little angry when she hits me with her fridge sized hatchets from around a corner. The fact that i know what the hitboxes look like additionally peeves me, why the hell are they massive pills? Huntress does have a great aesthetic though, so i can forgive it.
-
I gurantee if you bring tampered+Crate and manage to get an active trap on a survivor before they can search any of the boxes, they will 100% die. Its probably the most cruel build i can feasibly think of lol
-
Im frankly not that bothered in general. I've never been one to complain too heavily regarding this stuff, but i do find the overall sweat of the game rather annoying. I wish killers and survs played more casually.
-
Are you seriously gonna complain about demo lol? If you are actually even a somewhat decent survivor his shred is hardly difficult to dodge, and if you are actually decent with pallet management he won't completely devour every pallet before you make decent gen progress. Hes a mid tier killer at best, its like complaining about clown or billy. Git gud.
-
The underwhelming content additions. Blight is quite literally the only decent content addition we have had in nearly 3, soon to be 4, chapters. No new maps, no new interesting environments to play, basically no new interesting perks, the game is INCREDIBLY stale. This is significantly worsened by the fact that the bugs are becoming worse than they've ever been, which is making everybody grumpy.
-
I think we all want a new map deep down, but none of us want a BHVR made map. They've shown time and time again they have absolutely no god damn clue how to make one properly. The last good maps we got were a select few on azarovs and macmillans during the map reworks, and thats literally it.

Honestly it sounds like alot of fun, I've also found that spirit fury works so well with his power bc as nemesis you actually don't care if they predrop, that's an easy pallet break or injure/infection if they do so.
You got a bbq variant for us players who couldn't bare to skip on all those bp gains xD?
Sure, just replace devour with BBQ. Devour is a bit unreliable compared to starstruck since it can be broken before you get use out of it, but an exposed perk helps the "lore accurate" meme build feel accurate, since nemesis is supposed to be super strong. Starstruck lets you keep that part of the meme, and BBQ can add to the feel that you're being lore accurate with his tracking.
-
probably like 6 lol. I did not enjoy that game
-
In my most vivid of nightmares i have not had a more eldritch, terrifying image than 2 good nurses loading up into a trial. Vietnam vets would quake in their boots when told the kind of trauma you'd give a dbd player by sending them into that match. imagine you run towards the nurse to avoid her blink, and the other nurse teleports from behind and hits you.

You know that prestiging is optional right? You don't HAVE to P3 Level 50 everyone.
True, but you also waste a huge amount of BP if you buy more perks past level 50 so you can play the killer effectively. All those bloodpoints are flushed down the drain if you decide to prestige, which eventually you will do on a killer you like a lot.
-
Depends. If you're very definition of fun in this game is entirely casual, you will almost never enjoy going against SWF. At times it can be a very frustrating experience and you'll feel entirely helpless. I really only have a single piece of advice, since i can't really give you any in-game advice as SWF's do not follow the natural "rules" of the game. Don't get mad. No matter what you do, don't ruin the game for yourself. Take it slow, you know you very likely won't kill them all (if any of them) so just enjoy the chases. Take it as an opportunity to see how your skill as as the killer you're playing compares to more experienced survivors, and use that knowledge to learn and grow. Playing against a SWF will never be "fun" but it is an opportunity to learn. Take it with a grain of salt though, sometimes they'll play so mercilessly you aren't really given an opportunity to learn.

I wished i had footage of that game and if you'd think the same after seeing what they were doing all game.
Doesn't matter what they were doing. Doing cruel things to another player as some kind of "karmic retribution" for them being cruel to you is not how we should do thing as a community, and its why everyone hates DBD players. Be the bigger person, just let it slide. Take what kills you can get and be happy knowing that you don't need to prove your skill to anybody. Plus, you'll forget about whatever dumb thing they were doing in half an hour, its just not worth being that cruel.
-
Very stupid comparison. Invalidating another players entire experience just for your own ego is not cool. It is never necessary to 4k, the only purpose of killing all 4 survivors is to feel as though you have "truly" won the match. You've still won if 2 or 3 of them die. To effectively waste 3-4 minutes of another players time just so you can get all 4 of them is extremely toxic and 100% reportable. Not only is that bannable, but its straight up cruel. The fact you are even asking shows that you are worried that your actions are reprehensible and thus, bannable with a report.
-
Behavior tries very hard to keep all POV's at a consistent level. Nemesis's head quite nearly almost peaks over some loops, having his POV that tall would be game breaking. It would also be super annoying because survivors could just hide under your blind spot and you'd be none the wiser. BHVR only makes POV's shorter, never taller.
-
Honestly just happy to see more silent hill content. This franchise never sleeps on good content.
-
Unlikely for a variety of reasons. We already have a reality bender now (Pinhead), We already have a clown, and we already have a fair share of extradimensional sadists (Demo, Phead, Freddy). Pennywise just wouldn't provide anything we don't already have. Plus his lore would be super hard to work with.
