Yes, happens basically every other game. DBD players are cocky as hell and its honestly the only reason killers/survivors lose consistently. Killer gets cocky and thinks he can snowball when he really can't and loses, survivor gets cocky because they think they can occupy your time wayyyy longer than they actually can. If every player had absolutely no pride and played emotionlessly we'd see way more murder SWF's and god tier killers. You'll get plenty of funny moments of karmic justice

Be patient for literally 12 seconds? Or just don't tunnel lol?

Definitely not worse. He seems pretty damn oppressive in chases now, but he still has pretty much 0 map pressure.
This is why i tire of ranged killers. You get some crazy oppressive weapon you can chuck over loops, but you move at the speed of a crippled war vet. Whats the point of even doing well at loops when i can't even make it to gens half the time.

This joke went over soooo many peoples heads even after I explained it
thats because it wasn't funny

Maybe im just crazy, but i've only noticed a difference when im actually playing survivor myself. So many times as a killer i'll mop the floor with a survivor and then say "wait, they had iron will?" when i see it on the end screen. And yet, as a survivor i get so much use out of it so frequently. The perk is a complete enigma to me, but damn it really does work sometimes.

Lore was pretty cool, the animation for clown was really fun. Cosmetics could have been a lot better though.

You can simply turn off chat.
It goes a lot deeper than that. People BM the hell out of you in a lot of your matches, just because you can't see what they are saying doesn't mean you don't know they are mocking you. And being mocked is not a good feeling.
-
And all it takes is the slow agonizing death of every one of your teamates to use it!
-
Agreed. The players of this game are really nasty, and its really hard to block them out compared to other games. You're better off without this game mate, i hope you find another game that suits your fancy and brings you a new kind of joy you can rely on.

Blight's mobility is nice, but he also has collision issues so it's not always guaranteed. And Nurse also has incredible mobility as well, let's not act as if Blight is the only mobile killer, let alone the only killer that can get value out of ruin. Especially Nurse with range add ons, unless it's something like Mother's Dwelling, she can get from point A to C across the map typically with just two blinks at most.
Other killers can put pressure on survivors and generators and some can do it better (Nurse, hence why she's the strongest killer in this game as she can pressure survivors the best), I'm still not sure why you're acting as if Blight is the only one who can do that.
Every killer has an optimal build and it doesn't always consist of regression but even then you still don't see players of other killers use the same optimal build, and if you do it's because of perk compatibility issues like Twins and Demo. Blight is the only exception as there is no excuse.
No one is properly answering the question still.
no one is properly answering your question because you are ignoring all the answers lol. Get your head out of your ass

I'm with you. Killers want every survivor perk nerfed and unfortunately they get their way.
Remember when Small Game used to also detect traps? If it's not going to do that anymore can it at least highlight totems once we're so close and looking directly at it? Not gonna lie sometimes we're blind and sometimes you're on a map like SWAMP where it's impossible to see.
BHVR pretty clearly noted that small game no longer detects traps because its unfair for trapper players to be singled out in a perk. I don't know how anybody could ever complain about this lol, the perk completely unfairly gimped trapper before its rework. It works great as it is now without shooting the kneecaps of the games worst killer.
-
Its for balancing reasons. Chase music obscures sound for both the survivor and killer to allow them to mindgame one another.
-
If i could select both DH and SB i would. DH isn't "op" per se, it just flies an inch under the radar of complete bull. The amount of ez loops you can string together with it is disgusting, and it can turn a killers mindgame into a mindfail with a single press of a button. SB is undeniably OP because in good hands you literally never have to worry about a wasted chase. If you always SB away early and proceed to hold W, you'll gain so much distance that for any non mobility killers it will be a huge waste of time for them to even bother chasing you. if this community applied the same level of scrutiny they do to ruindying, they'd be up in arms about SB and DH.

Game is stale. Devs are stale. Not sure what you expect. Stop spending money on Nea skins and BHVR will have to work.
As if. Skins literally bankroll this game because its the only form of extra content we ever get, players will never stop buying them so bhvr never has to struggle to make good content to make up for lost profits.
-
Not your job to make them happy. Why do you care? They're just rando's and you're the killer. Play how you want, empathize only when you deem it necessary. They can judge you all they wish but its up to you how much that effects you.
-
If they are the last person, i usually respect it so long as they let their other teamate die (if they were both hooked at the time) but otherwise its just like any other unhook and i treat it no differently. You aren't really obligated to meme around because of random chance

The perk itself is fine, but i'd rather it works off of tokens like devour. You need certain hooks before it'll activate in the endgame, so it no longer becomes a bandaid fix for bad killers, it becomes a perk you earn through effective play before the endgame.
-
i don't think blood favor will ever be good, exactly for the same reason cruel limits will never be good.
-
Nemesis. I will die on this hill, his distant theme is scary as hell and his chase theme is a banger.
-
I would change mettle of man to 4 protection hits or safe unhooks. Bump it up 1 charge so survivors can't easily get it by farming their teamates with BT. Safe unhooks are wayyyy easier to get and much less of a hassle than protection hits, but protection hits would still be an option. it would further push the envelope that the perk is a "save/protect" your teamates sorta perk.
-
Theres quite a few of these right now sadly. Few on lerys, one on RPD (i believe) and a totem on crotus that gets you stuck.
-
Anything but knives. I don't know what, but knives just don't make any sense. Hes a self obsessed pop-star and music producer who will do anything for attention. And his power is....knives? Wth does that have to do with being a pop-star?

Elodie and Felix both came from the same organization and were childhood friends, Elodie was a continuation to Felix's lore like oni was a continuation of spirits.
-
I hate people that instantly assume you are some toxic jerk because you run meta perks. Sometimes i just want to relax and not have to sweat so hard to enjoy the game.
-
I'd say its pretty decent. Its really good on some killers, and really meh on others. Killers with great mobility like spirit, nurse, and hag absolutely destroy with starstruck, but killers like freddy, doc, slinger, see much less use out of it. It also certainly doesn't help that its reliant on TR, so killers with smallers terror radi will see little use out of it. overall i think it makes already strong killers stronger, but doesn't see too much use on a pretty large amount of the cast. Its good, just not great.
-
There isn't really a purpose to them. They exist solely as a bandaid patch for terrible map design, which is quite funny since it communicates to us that BHVR is very aware how unbalanced most maps/loops are. So instead they slap a breakable wall as a pre-dropped god pallet, or throw down a door at an area that is super inconvenient for survs. the game is a great example, so many areas you just can't go easily through as a surv because of annoying breakable doors. Same for the killer, you can't access a lot of gens easily because of terrible breakable doors. In general they are a purposeless nuisance.

Yeah not gonna lie I really like the "immersed" builds you do like for Nemmy and now ghostie.
I bet immersed demo would be fun if you ever made it, not the best in the world but yeah. Something like bloodhound since he's literally attracted to it.
Haven't tried these builds yet here that you mentioned mostly bc I've been so busy with work, but it's nice to see other killers who don't use the meta 24/7 and can do just fine lol
Do these builds still do fine if u don't have the add-ons? Like say I just wanna hop on in play and not use my add-ons or I ran out.
Sure, addons are only a small part of any build (except the demo one, you need the whistle to make it work). A lot of them are enhanced by the addons, but i usually i try to make builds that work even without addons. Both the Phead one and the GF one should work perfectly fine without addons.

I think he is really good, better than most people give him credit for. But top 3? No way.
Hard agree. Even after the rework he has some pretty solid benefits, but he's really not up there with the greats. I'd put him alongside killers like bubba and slinger

The least experienced claudettes tend to be exceptionally dumb, and are a huge detriment to your team.
The Semi-Experienced claudettes tend to make awful choices, and are unaware of their surroundings. But juuust aware enough that you know they know what they are doing is dumb.
The most experienced claudettes are incredibly toxic, and equally unhelpful as the other two since they tend to be incredibly selfish.
-
Tampered timer is mostly fine i think, i've never actually died to it UNLESS the pig was running crate of gears. I think tampered timer should trump all other addons, and prevent any form of box searching slowdown. If the pig brings a map offering, you're probably gonna die anyways even without timer. 30 seconds is not a lot of extra time if the pig is super toxic about it.

Yo please tell me your builds for demo, phead and ghostie. I love your nemmy build.
Much love and have a great day!
heres some builds to try with them, if you want any other builds you can ask :)
"All Seeing" Demo
Addons:
-Lifeguard whistle and Sticky Lining
Perks:
-Ruin, Surveillance, Bitter Murmur, and undying. With this build your portals can act as constant surveillance in important areas (including your ruin totem) and everytime a survivor leaves a generator, your surveillance and ruin will instantly inform you. Bitter murmur also helps a lot, since anytime a gen even manages to get completed without you instantly knowing, you get to see where all the survivors who completed the gen are. The build turns demo into a pretty opressive tracker, its quite fun.
"Silent Sniper" Pyramid Head
Addons:
-Burning Man Painting, Wax Doll.
Perks:
-Tinkerer, Pop, I'm All Ears, Trail of torment. The idea of this build is to turn pyramidhead into a lethal ambush attacker, and heavily relies on your ability to hit long distance shots outside of the range your sword makes sound. The addons will help a lot with this, but you can feel free to use whatever ones you like. The gist of the build is that whenever tinkerer procs, you move silently towards the gen and snipe anybody on it from long distance. You will pretty frequently get some downs/injures doing this, and its really fun. Pop lets you bring the gen back below tinkerer level so you can use it again, and trail of torment lets you choose to be undetectable whenever you want to get even more silent snipes. Im all ears is just a helpful perk in general, since it lets you get much easier shots during the chase, it can be switched out if you are already confident in your shots.
"Immersed" Ghostface
Addons:
-GF Caught on Tape, Chewed Pen
Perks:
Nurses Calling, Sloppy Butcher, Hex: The Third Seal, Whispers. While this build is not particularly effective in the "slowdown" department, it is a lot of fun and pretty thematic for GF. You want to play VERY stealthy with this build, try to never be seen and be incredibly sneaky. You want to close in on uninjured survivors and use the IRI addon to expose them really quickly for a fast down. Nurses and sloppy lets you take advantage of your near constant stealth to ambush healing survivors, third seal causes survivors to frequently be in a state of confusion leading to you creeping up on them a lot easier. Whispers makes sure you always know where to be, further lending to the idea you are a constant stalker. Really fun build, you'll feel super spooky, and often times i've had survivors tell me i jumpscared them multiple times.
Those are three builds for each killer that i think are really fun, but i have plenty more. Feel free to ask :)

oh dang. i’ve been getting blinded all the time even though im running it :( is there a place i can report it and ask if they can fix it? :0
Bug reporting, its in the forum browsing section under feedback and reports. :)
-
Bug. Unless they are cheating, you should be literally incapable of being blinded while using lightborn.
-
It works as it should, you get a decent amount of exposed on survivors that they cannot counter (compared to pretty much every other exposed perk) once they've activated it. It can also deter survivors from cleansing other totems, in general its fine as is. Does what it needs to with some appeasing minor benefits.
-
If it isn't in the default settings, quit doing it. Its such a simple concept that nobody seems to understand, if it isn't in the default settings the devs do not intend for you to do it. Thusly, its cheating to do so.

How did you down all 4 survivors though?
Thats the funny thing, i've never actually seen a killer make a good play like that who uses NOED, unless they were already clearly a good killer. In which case they would be much better off with a perk that benefits them before the endgame.
-
Once in a blue moon, after rescuing 40 survivors, completing 11 gens, destroying all totems in the match, and healing a teamate consecutively for 40 seconds, you may perform the O M E G A V A U L T A C T I O N allowing you to vault 1/2/3% faster. This perk has a 1 quadrillion second cooldown.
-
Certainly, they'll add 3 breakable walls and remove 1 loop and then the map will truly receive the BHVR seal of approval.
-
Its annoying that an attack that does 0 damage gives survivors an enormous speedboost. Fine, if BHVR wants to keep it theres nothing we can do to stop them. But the least they could do is at least give it a much heftier hindered effect. 0.25's is genuinely such a pathetic notion.
-
If i stand completely still for all 5 gens, NOED will activate, and i can instadown survivors. I could quite literally do absolutely nothing, and noed would STILL be usable. You don't e v e r earn NOED, its a bandaid fix for killers that aren't confident that they can win. The counterplay is also incredibly unreasonable, either don't get hit when you know its active, or premptively waste your time doing dull totems in the off chance the killer might have NOED. And if they don't congrats, you wasted a ton of time.
-
It isn't so bad, unless you are facing a full balanced team as a generic m1 killer, it could be worse.
-
You could say this about literally any killer you complete dope, blame it on your own inability to cope with loss in a videogame. If i die to several RBT's several games in a row, i too, could hop on the forum and say "Congrats pig players, you made me hate solo surv" like an idiot. But thankfully, i am not an idiot.
