Blight has almost completely lost his mind. If he has any semblance of a mind that is not entirely shackled by the entity, he surely isn't using it. I'd say hes probably one of the most devout killers, no will of his own, no emotions, no empathy, and has the closest connection to the entity of any of the killers. I doubt he'd ever simply kill a survivor on a whim, because he has no mind for it. Cruelty like that is more befit of killers who take pleasure in what they do (like amanda or micheal) but blight? Surely not, he lost those emotions a long time ago when the serum rotted away his sanity.

So you don't have any problems with god windows like the ones next to the basements on Haddonfield and Father Campbell's Chapel?
Theres a difference between "window ONLY" loops and "Structure that has a god window." by window only i mean LT's and Z walls.

@Ssajbambusa said:
@Seraphor exactly, basically worse We'll make it.
The difference is you don't have to rely on others for it. We'll make it is an amazing perk but basically nobody runs it. With resurgence you essentially force your teammates to have a diet version of the perk, and have to worry a lot less about getting healthy quickly after being unhooked. Its kinda nice.

The better question is: Why is there even a breakable wall at the Dead Dawg Saloon shack?
That map was basically the petri dish for breakable walls. They slapped one on everything, and horribly mutated shack in the process. What does the door even do? Why is it there? Why is the shack hitbox so funky? So many questions.

No, because he slides and bumps on invisible things.
Truly the best part of maining blight. It will bring you closer to your patron deity as you will pray for no sliding before every match, and you will simulate the economy by increasing your purchasing of anger therapy sessions. Truly nothing is taken for granted with this killer
-
Main blight. Its like the cure to all of your ailments in life.
-
I just wish they were more clear upon WHAT they are balancing and why. Sometimes they just change stuff and say "Yep, we feel this change is what we want." and refuse to elaborate further. Tell us WHY you do what you do, what you consider balanced and what you do not. Its just so painful how they lack ANY transparency a lot of the time.
-
my stomach hurts im laughing so hard, i hope they fix the bug but holy crap that is so funny.
-
it would be broken yeah, but god i just wish we had a single more gen regression perk. We have essentially nothing nowadays besides pop (and surge for the hipsters out there)
-
M&A on oni. Suuuuper underrated IMO, you get so much more value out of infectious and the fact your terror radius is so much smaller means you can really suprise survivors with a long demon dash.
-
I don't miss his weakness, but i majorly miss his aesthetic. He was truly a dream demon, invisible to waking survivors but made real in their dreams. It was spooky, thematic, and all around really cool. It made the dream world just that much more threatening to be in, plus the split second moments of waking up inches from his claws was awesome. I don't miss the frustrations, but god i miss the aesthetic. Seeing survivors float in the air when being carried was also pretty funny.
-
In my restless dreams, i see that town...
On a serious note, the skin isn't that amazing compared to the other legendaries we have but being able to play lisa in high fidelity is just too awesome to overlook.

Implying anyone is pleased RN lol. I doubt old gen Console players are very enthused to play on either side.
Were console players ever enthused? The games always run like ass on most consoles, because apparently a game with the graphical fidelity of a ps2 title on its lowest setting still can't run on jack.
-
i don't think i've thought very hard about any window only loops in at least 1000 hours. You get used to them, the only reason one should complain about them is if they suck at the game.
-
You can get more than 8k using perks like bbq and chili, which give you a 100% BP bonus in one of the categories. You can also do this using a bloody party streamer. Just do very well during a match with one of these in play and you'll get it easily.
-
Pyramid head honestly needs better everything regarding his addons. There are like, 6 of them max that are even somewhat usable.

What means working? Its enough for the average red rank team. Of course gens will fly. Pressuring gens against a competent team is a complex objective which requires thought, nothing you could accomplish braindead.
Working means doing something. TWO of the four perks you can equip as a killer being dedicated to pallet stuns is a really bad idea. Bubba is the ONLY one that thrives off of this because he can force stuns with his chainsaw speed, other killers do not follow this principle. You can just predrop the pallet and now what are they gonna do? Pick it back up and slam it on their own heads? It just doesn't work if the survivor pre-drops it, and 9/10 times they will the second they realize you've got the combo. You might get off one suprise hit or down sure, but then those perks become basically useless for the rest of the game. Green ranks are the only people that actually fall for that combo consistently. Bamboozle also fails pretty hard against most red rank players since they know to just run to another loop. PGTW is the only saving grace of that build and even then you can't even run that on phead lul. The only reason the build is braindead is because you'd have to be stupid as hell to pick it up and think you'll get ez wins.
-
I like his aesthetic and his music is an absoloute banger. Hes also decently scary, the horrible sounds he makes while sprinting in your direction are way scarier than oni or billy. His theme also really hammers it into you that "NOW IS THE TIME TO RUN!"
Hes just cool. Plus he has a really high skill cap and i rarely ever feel like its the games fault i lose to a blight.
-
Because of the way its phrased. I Don't think its a largely disagreed concept that oni can be kinda weak, but this post spits it out in a pretty inflammatory and hostile manner. Its clearly bait because its not "Oni is bad, how can we fix this?" its "Oni is bad, i hope this pisses some people off."
-
It doesn't really work on most killers though. It is an "anti looping" build, which would theoretically let you turn your brain off, but the fact that gens will fly and you've got the map pressure of a baby trapper perk wise, its ineffective on most of the cast. The only killers who use this well are instadown killers, bubba being the absoloute best of them to use this build on. But otherwise it kinda sucks balls.

Sure there are many questionable or downright terrible perks, but I would argue the recently added perks with Nemesis and Trickster chapters were pretty decent. Not meta-changing, but not terrible either, bringing something new to the game ("craftable" items with flashbang, blockable exit gate with No way out, etc.)
You make a good point, the perks are pretty fun and decently useful. I have an unusual amount of faith compared to when i usually do that they are heading in a better direction with their gameplay. Makes me hopeful for how pinheads gonna look when they release him on the live servers.
-
I've gotten a few MLG compilation worthy downs from them, stuff that sticks in my memory to this day. Other times though, i get footage that would let me court order them as utterly braindead.

Plaid flannel is a no but shadowborn is fine. Every "pro nurse" i see on twitch uses stretched rez to get the same thing without the perk. Depends on your ethics. Cheat and have more build variety or play as intended and slightly limit your builds.
Honestly i tend to run goofy builds in general. I might limit shadowborn so i don't get super addicted to it in case i want to run different kinds of builds on her, but considering i already run it on every mobility killer and do pretty well, i might not take it off on nurse since it just feels right.

Rule of thumb. DONT use plaid flannel or shadowborn. Do NOT get addicted/used to them.
Be as brutally honest with me as you can. Whats gonna happen if i get used to them?

I can’t get past her screen darkening/fatigue. It just gives me migraines and refuse to deal with it. If they took that away, I’d main her in a heart beat.
Same here! Shadowborn kinda moved me past that issue, the amount of screen widening pushes a lot of the headache inducing black borders to the sides of the screen, makes it way more bearable. I hardly notice it, i use it on blight too since his constant screen shake is motion sickening. If you're willing to throw a perk slot away it might help you too.

Thats a rather poor summary of their statement.
They specifically said that they do not aim to make every new perk meta, bc it creates a cycle off ever increasing strong perks. And there's simple a limit of how impactful perks should be. They prefer to do gimicky stuff, to add interesting effects, which may not be super strong overall, but might come in handy in certain situations.
Sure, we could argue that they are to hesitant with the numbers of this gimmmicky perks they release. But if you remember the Nemesis Update, they buffed the numbers of all Nemesis perks heavily between PTB and live. Let's see how they do with the new Pinhead perks.
Heres to hoping. I take that statement with a grain of salt though, "Not making every perk meta" and "Making a good perk" are not mutually exclusive, but oftentimes the dev team seems to think that. Plenty of non meta perks we got are gimmicky and interesting but straight up terrible. It makes for a very boring enviroment at times when a lot of the fun perks just aren't FUN-ctional because of limitations to keep them weak and avoid making them meta.
-
They generally suck, i wish there was an option that said "i just like the animations." breakable walls are boring and unfun but god damn dude those animations, cleaaaan asf.

Jokes aside, the perk is pretty busted. Delete crucial game mechanic with a perk. Zero counter. They make zero sound whatsoever, healthy or not. Unlimited use as long as they're injured. No conditions other than being injured. The perk would never be released in its current form today.
considering they released MoM in its broken as hell state barely a year ago, they'd totally release a perk like iron will in modern dbd.
-
a better perk would be reverse corrupt for hexes. Makes them look like dull totems for 120 seconds or something before lighting them.
-
@Bjario said:
Or they could just buff the unused perks instead to shift the meta.
BHVR has stated before on a livestream (not sure which one, not gonna bother searching for it) that they do not plan to shift the meta, and are happy with the small amount of "meta" perks that make up most killer/survivor loadouts. They'd rather do minimal work on a small set of perks than a lot of work to make a lot of perks fun, which sucks but its what they want.
-
This entire community is a cesspit i am never prideful to tell other people i engage with. When i boot up DBD the only thought that ever enters my mind is "Hell is other people, this games playerbase is full of toxic garbage."
That being said, i love ya'll
-
We already have killers that represent each of those concepts, they'd likely just release themed skins for them
Oni: Horseman of War
Hag: Horseman of Famine
Plague: Horseman of pestilence
Nurse: Horseman of Death

Uh, excuse you.
I often feel sorry for the last guy if it's a stomp because of stupid plays, or I happen to be in a good enough mood to offer it to the last guy.
There ain't no power trip in charity.
it can kind of depend. Sometimes its charity, a way of saying "Thanks for the game :)" sometimes you destroyed their team and its a way of saying "I am a merciful god, i could have slayed you where you stood but i pity you, and thus grant you mercy."
-
I personally find the zaniness of dbd to be the funnest part about it. I don't care so much if i win or lose, just how entertaining each match is. DBD has the perfect amount of jank and community in jokes that even 5 people with 0 methods of communication can make silly/fun things happen. Thats what i live for in this game, its why i love it because the funnies that happen in this game don't happen anywhere else.

@Milo said:
Doesn't he have the usual tr with speed? (115% with 32m)
Yeah lol, this guy is clearly very new. Nemesis is just like any of the other basic m1 killers outside of his braindead zombies and tentacle.
-
Trickster and legion. I beg of you, tricksters map pressure sucks so much and compared to slinger and huntress he really doesn't need to be 110. Legion seriously should sprint a lot faster, for a sprint you barely go above their walking speed and its straight up sad.

Twins are going the route of Jeff in terms of skins by the looks of it
Tbf, just like Jeff only an incredibly small percentage of the playerbase even play them. Its not profitable for BHVR to make skins for them, so they just...don't.
-
at least i can play mobility killers on haddonfield
-
You can't really be a "better" loser. It sucks losing, it'll always burn a bit and it feels like you're missing out on the good sensations of properly winning. The absolute best thing you can realize and remind yourself of is that every win is a brick laid in the steps of success. You have to lose first before you can win. A baby killer must first lose to low tier survivors before they know how to win against them, a low tier killer must first lose to mid tier survivors before they know how to win against them, and so on. Always take losing as a learning experience, its an opportunity to grow and become a better killer. Most importantly just remember to have fun. DBD can be a silly game, i almost never get angry at this game anymore because its just wacky and weird. Love the little things and keep in mind that a loss is just an alternative path to eventual victory.
-
Not defending them here, its pretty gross. But it is the rule, they have a strict no naming/shaming policy. This includes hackers, as objectively immoral as that is. If you bend the rules for one instance, then people will try and bend it for others and it becomes messy. They're just doing their jobs.
-
We wouldn't have a chat filter if we had a decent community, but BHVR recognized how ass its playerbase is and moved to attempt to fix the issue. But BHVR being BHVR the chat filter is a complete mess and fails to pacify the endgame chat in any capacity.
-
I honestly refuse to run it out of the principle that it should be basekit. (minus killer aura reading) But also because im pretty stubborn with what perks i want to use. A perk that only activates when im on the hook just isn't something i vibe with.

The red stain is genuinely one of the most baffling mechanics. They have a lot of weird stuff to hold survivor's hands, but this one takes it too far. They held the hand so hard the body never came with it.
At least the red stain makes gameplay a bit more interesting. Its a bit stupid all things considered, but it gave life to the mindgames that make chases a lot more interesting. its a necessary evil for less boring matches.
-
Not really, i am really sorry to say it but DBD is the best one. in all its toxicity, bugginess, and generally hostile gameplay, dbd is the best in the genre. If you want a game like it, all you have to play is DBD. Last year is straight up dead, F13 is pretty dead too, HSH:S is an unbalanced disaster that makes DBD look angelic, and pred hunting grounds is a boring slog. DBD is really your only option.

Infinite tier three Myers is weak, you killer mains want it all
What? I'm not even a killer main.
Its honestly laughable how stupid some people in this community are. "Oh yeah? You disagree with me? Stupid [Killer/Survivor] Main!"
-
Just add it to the writhing mountain of broken BHVR promises lol. Were never gonna get it since its not profitable for them.
-
In the void she kills, its basically undoable since they changed nurses addons, so she can no longer actually use her 3 blinks to go through objects, and they haven't bothered updating it to be more doable with reworked nurse.
Oh yeah and any of the adept achievements on instadown killers. Gold chaser man....

Thanks for the correction on the tentacle, 2.5 seconds then. And so the wiki is wrong then? I assume it doesn't get updated much.
Also I know STBFL doesn't work on powers.
It gets updated pretty frequently. It just has a very limited amount of people who can properly post and update it, so if any of those posters are unaware of small details like this they won't get added quickly.

Pride charm doesn't mean somebodies LGBT. Plenty of our players just like showing their support :)
