Wow, looking at responses, I thought it would be closer than that! @Walker_of_the_fog_96 I've seen most of the scary movies and hated every one of them, which is why is why I am sightly bias. I like my movies of the 70s and 80s; keep em grungy and sleazy and I'm happy!

That hurts! I hope you get this sorted.
This is a little concerning though, I am character level 1323 (no typo) and have invested a lot in Auric cells and DLC on my Steam account, not to mention being present for the majority of the timed cosmetics (no Legacy and not complaining!), isn't this sort of information backed up on BHVR servers now, or is it worth keeping some sort of tab on our account status?

Looking at the above, I think I may be alone in saying that I would hate to see an Alien Chapter in DBD.
I can totally accept The Demogorgon, as part of the Stranger Things universe, but The Alien is a futuristic sci-fi story and would be incredibly out of place in DBD.

Had a few issues in games last night.
Healing, repairing and other interaction sounds were missing, although I could still hear general environmental sounds, such as the Generators themselves. A restart of DBD sorted it though.
PC here.

It appears that my comment has been taken out of context; just to clarify, the Store Picture thing is a reply to @Carpemortum s point, saying that stores can take your picture whenever they want, and to say that that was against European law for them to use it without good reason... I was not likening this to the point of my thread in any way.
Some very interesting points here and thank you @Xetoil , as this is exactly where I am coming from. I've been at a company that's gone down the drain due to GDPR implementation and this other thread and above has gotten me thinking how it relates to online gaming.

The only thing that COULD help, but I wouldnt say is legally required at all, would be a streamer mode, where your name is randomized or a generic "Player3" tag.
Smite has this, it hides everyones name by saying for example: "Odin2" "Sobek1", etc. But it covers OTHER peoples names, not yours, and the killfeed still shows names....so it's less than ideal.
Other than that, you have no way to reinforce it. Because you're playing an online game, with other people.
If people message you, or try to harass you, report them, or just block messages while playing.
Hi, not sure where you are in the world, but in Europe, it is against the law to take someones picture in a store and use it, other than for security. Which is pretty much the point I'm trying to make.

I game by a different name to the one I use here, but it's just something that's got me thinking. I don't really care as much as to follow anything through, but while I have signed god knows what with BHVR in DBD, I have NOT authorised any use of me/my material/likeness/etc with Twitch, or the team the other day, as I'm sure nobody else who has their gaming streamed.
For example, what do the people that some of the big Streamers see out of the Sponsorship monies they get, despite getting their asses handed to them in content that is seen by 100s of thousands of people?
I'm more looking at the can of worms that the Streaming companies and Streamers are holding, than DBD itself, so maybe this is in the wrong forum?

In that case, it's been confirmed by devs to be fair game. It's a good way for Killers to make the harvester less safe for Survivors.
@TAG Oh, considering the loop fest I experienced earlier, it was anything but less safe!

@Tatariu I've seen them vault to the right and then go left, but never right onto the other bales, so was really taken aback...

Environmental interactions of that type are Baaaaad imo. RAILWAY station as a map would be sweet though. I often find myself when on the Train, looking out the window and imagining looping round the old structures.

It's good that this is off of the main page, because... I ENJOY playing as Legion! It's fast paced, running, stabbing, running, stabbing, STABBING and running and STABBING some more!
The Deep wound system can be quite frustrating, as it lacks the ability to finish a chase, but the constant zooming and stabbing is great fun! Plus, I find you rank up real easily, even if you aren't getting kills and are always maxing out a few categories in blood points.
Hag is among the top tiers though and will yield great rewards regardless.

I'm grinding like hell to get all perks on all characters, and for me, my Survivor build is:
WGLF (for the 100% potential BPs)
Prove Thyself (to max Objective category super quick)
Small Game (for those sweet +1k Boldness per totem)
Empathy (to help get those altruism points from heals)

I guess the problem will always have been, if friends who are new to the game are playing on a 500+ hrs account, they will come up against tougher opposition.
EDIT that, or if they are playing in a SWF with you, then that will force them into a game that is suited to your rank.
When I helped my daughter get up to level 3 on the Tome, I got all sorts of grief, as I got her up to Rank 10! She now gets killed every game, but, at least she's learning to look behind her! :)

Thanks, but that's from a fair few weeks back now. We've had a lot longer now to get accustomed to her, and, as a rank 5 survivor, I could count on one hand the number of times I've seen her this year.

ALSO, it will never happen cause the Saw franchise and the rights to the song itself are different licenses...but this would be great for Pig...
Personally, I think "Hello Zepp" should play when the head traps are activated, increasing in intensity until GAME OVER event... that is the dream... for me, as epic as it is, it doesn't quite fit a chase...

I'm not sure, I've had hatches spawn in my LOS as the last gen is powered. Although I've also had hatches not open in a 1 v 1 non EGC situation. Anything is possible!!!

I like to mix and match, so it would be nice to be able to get the discount on individual parts of the Outfit, rather than having to buy the whole set.

- Scrapped Tape: Name changed to Iridescent Queen. Rarity changed from Uncommon to Ultra Rare. Survivors hit with Shock Therapy or Static Blast acquire a lingering Static Charge. If a Survivor with Static Charge is within 4 meters of another Survivor, the Survivor receives a shock with identical effects as the Shock Therapy and Static Blast.
- Iridescent King add-on: Shock Therapy and Static Blast cause the Survivor to gain a random Madness affliction.

Well, the first rift is nearly complete. I would assume that there is a lot of feedback on these forums and also stats from within the game, which the Dev team will be able to review and act upon, to either lessen the grind, or leave it as is.
The final stats would make for very interesting reading and i hope that they are released!

With Archives, and Two Perks per bloodweb, past level 40, the grind has been lessened immensely.

I report every DC, with a quick line about the circumstances.
I had a guy who ran to the back corner repeatedly to prevent me from getting it, and DC'd rather than give me the hook. He then stayed behind to mock me in the post game chat.
I really hope that the review team see this and punish these guys appropriately...

As long as they do not hinder progress to the end of the Tome level, keep them as they are. Leave them as "Challenges" at the end of a Node for the completionists!
